Festive bottle garlands. Great idea: do-it-yourself garland in a glass bottle New Year's garland in a bottle

Excellent New Year's luminous homemade from an empty wine bottle.

We need to make a glowing New Year's bottle:

- wine bottle
- drill and glass drill
- goggles and gloves
- electrical tape
- Christmas tree garland

So, let's start homemade from an empty wine bottle:

1. Thoroughly wash the wine bottle and remove all labels (if you want, you can leave);

2. In place of the future hole for wiring the garland, you need to stick pieces of electrical tape, it will prevent the drill from slipping off the bottle.

3. Wear gloves and goggles before drilling. Do not press hard on the glass otherwise the bottle will break, so this process is very long. I spent about 30 minutes, my advice to you is to be patient before drilling the bottle!
If everything went well, here is what you should get from it:

4. As soon as you drill a hole, the bottle must be thoroughly rinsed from glass chips and dried thoroughly!

5. Now you need to stuff the New Year's garland into that unfortunate hole that you have been tormenting for more than one dozen minutes: bully:!

6. Our luminous Christmas bottle with a garland inside is ready!

Ordinary wine bottles can easily be turned into an original Christmas decoration. They can be decorated in a variety of ways: paint them using stained glass technique, give them an unusual texture, or use them as interesting New Year's garlands. To make such a craft, you will need improvised materials and the bottle itself. We will show you three master classes on how to make original New Year's bottles with your own hands.

Master class number 1: decorating a New Year's bottle with sparkles

A wine bottle with overflows of gold can complement any New Year's interior. With this craft, you can decorate the New Year's composition, put a few spruce branches and brushes with berries in the bottle itself, or leave it as an independent New Year's decor.

materials

To decorate a New Year's bottle with sparkles, you will need:

  • an empty wine bottle;
  • glue for decoupage;
  • dry golden sequins;
  • brush;
  • fine-grained sandpaper;
  • paper;
  • paper napkin.

Step 1. First of all, you will need to prepare the bottle for work. To do this, wipe its surface with a damp cloth, removing dirt and dust. For better adhesion to the glue, sand the glass with sandpaper. Wipe the bottle again with a soft, dry cloth to remove any remaining glass dust. This work is best done in a well-ventilated area.

Step 2. Apply decoupage glue to the bottle with a brush. Before the glue dries, sprinkle glitter on its surface, after covering the desktop with paper. Leave the bottle to dry.

Step 3. After the glue dries, remove excess glitter using a dry brush. If there are spots left on the surface of the bottle that are not filled with decor, eliminate these gaps by re-lubricating them with a thin layer of glue and sprinkling with a small amount of sparkles.

After the glue has dried, your New Year's bottle is ready. If you wish, so that the sparkles do not crumble in the future, you can cover the surface of the decorated bottle with varnish in the form of a spray.

Master class number 2: decoupage of the New Year's bottle with salt

A wine bottle can turn out very interesting if it is painted white and decorated with coarse salt. Visually, this craft seems to be slightly powdered with snow. It is best to use such decorative techniques for solid New Year's compositions.

materials

To decorate a New Year's bottle with decoupage salt, you will need:

  • bottles of wine and champagne;
  • primer;
  • coarse salt;
  • decoupage glue.

Step 1. Get your bottles ready. To do this, remove the labels from their surface. For one New Year's composition, you can take several bottles of different heights and shapes at once. So the craft will look original.

Step 2. Apply a thick coat of primer to the surface of the bottle. Let it dry thoroughly.

Step 3. On a bottle coated with a primer, spray decoupage glue or gently apply it with a soft brush.

Step 4. While the glue is not dry, sprinkle the glass surface with coarse salt. You can pour a layer of salt on a thick cardboard or piece of plastic and carefully roll the bottle in it, it will even be easier. Do not decorate the bottle with salt all the way to the neck, otherwise it will not look so attractive and organic.

After the glue has completely dried, your New Year's bottle of salt is ready for composition. You can put it on the same tray with other similar bottles, complement them with white and silver Christmas decorations, painted with silver paint, twigs and candles.

Master class number 3: New Year's garland from a bottle

The usual New Year's garland can look very original if it is not hung on the wall or decorated with a Christmas tree, but placed entirely in a bottle of champagne or wine. This work has its own nuances and difficulties, but it's worth it. A bottle with a garland inside looks like a spectacular lamp and, moreover, is fireproof.

materials

To make a New Year's garland from a bottle, make sure you have:

  • the bottle itself;
  • fairy lights;
  • screwdrivers;
  • hammer;
  • goggles;
  • protective gloves;
  • drill;
  • drills;
  • adhesive tape.

Step 1. Get your bottle ready. To do this, rinse it off the wine, remove the label from the outside and let it dry completely.

Step 2. Put on goggles, gloves, and using a hammer and screwdriver, make a small incision in the bottom of the bottle. Start drilling the hole at the location marked in this way. Do this carefully so that the bottle does not burst. You can put a few drops of water into the hole that has formed so that the drill and the glass itself do not overheat. If you do not have a drill, you can continue to form a hole with a screwdriver and hammer, but be prepared for the fact that you will not be able to do the job neatly and, most likely, a small piece of glass will fall out.

Step 3. Fill the garland through the hole formed in the bottle, leaving only the wire with the plug outside.

Step 4. If your hole is large, seal it with tape so that the garland does not fall out of the bottle during operation.

Your original Christmas garland is ready. You can place the bottle under the tree or on the bedside table and turn it on while enjoying the cozy Christmas light.

If you still have empty wine bottles and you didn’t have time to throw them in the trash, then you can make a very original holiday lamp. It will create a unique atmosphere in your room and give a festive mood.

For your convenience, I have made this video tutorial to serve as a visual aid if you get confused at any moment.

Step 1: Materials

For this project you will need:

- One bottle of wine (pre-drink)

- One Drill

- One 1/2″ diamond hole saw (or similar for cutting glass)

— Christmas garland

- One 1/2″ rubber bushing

- Aluminium foil

If you need to modify the Christmas Lights you will also need:

- 1/8″ Heat Shrink Tubing

– Heat source (building hair dryer or gas lighter)

- Scissors

Step 2: Drilling

Show All Products

If a bottle of wine paper marking then the first step is to cover them with foil and tape. This will prevent water ingress and damage to the label.

Next, place the bottle in the sink under the faucet and turn on cold water (this will cool it down). Use your drill, slowly, to create a notch. Make sure the drill is at the lowest speed and torque setting. First you will need to drill at an angle to easily create a recess and then move on to drilling perpendicular to the bottle. It took me about three minutes, but the slower you go, the better the result!

After cutting the bottle, remove the round piece of glass inside and rinse the bottle.

Step 3: Garland Modification (If Needed)

Show All Products

This step is only necessary if you have thick pieces (an outlet for connecting another garland) at the end of your garland.

First, cut the wires after the last bulb to remove the socket.

Next, we will need to cover the bare wires. Take the heat shrink, cut the tubes to the required size. Put on the bare wires and use a lighter or a building hair dryer to heat them until the bare ends are crimped.

Step 4: Installing the Headlight

Take the garland and from the very last light bulb - we push the garland into the bottle through the hole we made.

Step 5: Fixing the wire in the hole with a rubber grommet

You are almost done! The last step is to place the grommet in the hole to make sure the glass won't cut the wires. First, take your scissors and make one radius cut per sleeve. Then take the sleeve and insert it into the hole. Depending on the thickness of the bottle, this may take some time. Be patient and try using a pencil or pen to get the sleeve to sit evenly along the hole.

Now you have a finished bottle of light! However, if you are looking for perfection there are two more things you can do. Make a hook (I used a paperclip attached to a chopstick) and use it to distribute the garland in the bottle until you are satisfied with the result. You can also take a razor and carefully cut away the foil at the top of the bottle to make it look cleaner. An easy way to do this is to twist the bottle while holding the knife in place.

I would like to end with a few pointers. In this tutorial, I used a string of 20 bulbs, but you can use up to 50. However, keep in mind that the more light, the hotter the bottle. Also, instead of using a bushing, you can simply grind the sharp edges of the hole.

Remember how you caught fireflies as a child? Even from a distance, these tiny creatures look magical, and if you still manage to catch a couple of pieces in a jar ... Agree, there is something magical in miniature lights gleaming from behind the glass.

Now you hardly have time for these cute children's fun. And the season, to put it mildly, is not very conducive. But you can enjoy the magical light from behind the glass at any time. To do this, it is not necessary to look for some special lamp - it is easy to make it yourself.

Today you will learn how to make a beautiful New Year's lamp from a garland in a jar, bottle, vase or other glass container. We have selected 46 photos of the most beautiful examples and will tell you in detail how to do it.

You don't have to be a craftsman to create this beauty. The technology is simple enough that even a beginner can master it. The materials will also need the simplest: a glass container of your choice and a New Year's garland.

Important notes:

1. It is better to give preference to the LED garland - it does not heat up, and, accordingly, is safer for a closed container.

2. Some options do not include a power cable outlet. Therefore, look for a short garland on batteries.

1. A lamp from a garland in a jar

The best part about this idea is that you probably already have at least one required item. The jar does not have to be beautiful in itself, although interesting models with embossed walls or colored glass are welcome. So sort out the deposits of cans in the pantry - the New Year's magic begins!

Materials and tools:

a glass jar with a neck wide enough for the palm to pass freely (better - with a small margin), transparent silicone-based glue, a short battery-powered garland.

How to make a lamp in a jar with your own hands:

1. Wash the jar thoroughly, remove the labels. Dry.

2. Apply the garland to the outer wall to outline the intended contour. When you are ready, apply glue to the necessary parts of the garland and fix it inside the jar.

Ready! Now you have your own "winter firefly trap". This lamp looks especially impressive in the twilight.

Such lamps look great on their own - for example, in the middle of the table. But, if you want a particularly New Year's mood, place the jars on a tray with other seasonal decor: cones, spruce branches. Ideally complement the composition of artificial snow. Cover the edges of the jar with it or pour it inside - it will turn out no worse than souvenir snow globes.

2. Light garland under the serving hood

Their main difference is the ability to give special significance to what is hidden under glass. Just imagine: an ordinary garland will look like a museum piece!

For this idea, you can simply put the garland inside, turning the cap over, or glue it, as in the previous paragraph - in this case, the composition will look even more impressive.

The most sophisticated option will be with miniature flower-shaped bulbs - if you can find such a garland, it will be just wonderful. The cap can not only be put on a table or chest of drawers, but also built into the New Year's composition, as in the photo.

3. Decorative lamp from a garland and a glass vase

Who said vases are only for flowers? A simple transparent vase without decor is an excellent basis for any composition. Especially New Year's - bright lights behind the glass will look just magical.

This idea is especially good for its practicality: it does not require gluing and “finishing” the vessel, and after the holidays you can again use the vase for its intended purpose.

Everything is extremely simple here: find a suitable glass vase or planter and arrange the garland beautifully inside. The garland can either fill the entire vase or hang beautifully around the edges if the vase is high. The composition can be supplemented with any suitable filler: cones, spruce branches, artificial snow…

4. Lanterns for molded candles + garlands

Lanterns occupy a special place in the winter decor. There is something fabulously romantic in its outlines - especially in our time, when many people use flashlights. But this is no reason to throw such a wonderful item in the closet! Retrieve old garden lights from deep in your closet or buy them from IKEA to feel like a Christmas fairy with a magic light.

Making a flashlight magical is not at all difficult: just beautifully lay the garland inside, as in the paragraph about vases. Do you want special elegance? Glue the garland to the walls so that it takes an interesting shape (see point 1). The lantern itself can also be decorated with a bright bow or a New Year's wreath of pine needles.

5. Decorative bottle lamp

And this, perhaps, is the most interesting garland lamp: in a bottle. It is somewhat more difficult to manufacture than the previous versions, but the impression more than pays for all the inconvenience. Just imagine: tiny lights, white or multi-colored, flickering through dark glass ... Wine bottles are best, but cognac and liquor look no less impressive.

Materials and tools:

an empty glass bottle, a drill, a glass drill (~ 1.25 cm), electrical tape, a short garland (preferably battery-powered, not powered).

Precautions: For safety, wear gloves and goggles in case the bottle breaks. For the same reason, keep a few spare bottles on hand.

How to make a decorative bottle lamp with your own hands:

1. Wash the bottle thoroughly by removing the label and wipe dry.

2. Mark the place for drilling (3-5 cm from the bottom edge of the bottle) with electrical tape. It is necessary so that the drill does not slip during the process.

3. Fix the bottle (for example, between wooden spacers) and start drilling. Avoid too much pressure to avoid damaging the glass! Drilling a hole takes about half an hour.

4. Rinse the bottle thoroughly so that no glass chips remain on the walls, and dry. Cover the edges of the hole with sealant to prevent injury.

5. Now let's place the garland. Gradually immerse it into the opening of the bottle so that the switch (and power cable, if any) remains outside.

Once the job is done, congratulations! You have an exquisite decoration for a table or living room interior.

You can use any bottles, both ordinary and colored glass. Frosted glass and / or covered with artificial snow will look especially festive. Such a lamp will look equally good in any color variations, but we recommend playing with contrasts. Light glass + multi-colored garland, dark glass + garland with yellow lights, a composition of bottles of different sizes ...

For aesthetes, we offer this option: colored glass bottles, and inside - a garland, a large decorative filler and grape leaves. Incredibly elegant!

Where can you sell cigarette ashes? The story that cigarette ashes are highly valued, and pharmacies and some businesses are willing to pay a lot of money for ashes, has migrated from real life to the network. And the gullible Pinocchio is unaware that if cigarette ashes were worth the money that they offer for it, then cigarette manufacturers would simply burn their products! So where did the legend of priceless cigarette ashes come from?
It's all the fault of ordinary human greed and the desire for easy money. And if there are naive people who believe in wonderful and easy ways to earn money, then there are enterprising people who are ready to make money on naive simpletons. Moreover, the scheme used by scammers is very simple: an advertisement is placed for the purchase of completely useless nonsense such as cigarette ash, or some other tempting offer, in general, the main goal is to interest a person in something.

Surely, almost every active user of Runet knows about the network legend about incredibly expensive coins, which, nevertheless, can be in everyone's pocket. Of course, I want to write about the legendary 10 kopeck coin of 2001.
As befits a modern legend, despite numerous denials, a rumor of this kind stubbornly circulates: "Market the cost of a coin of 10 kopecks in 2001 is from 29,000 to 40,000 rubles. The price depends on the safety of the coin. For example, 10 kopecks in 2001 at the auction went for 50 thousand rubles! And one has only to imagine how much it will cost in a few years! The number of coins is decreasing, the price of the remaining ones will increase every month, so hurry up!!!"

What if there is no corkscrew at hand, but you need to open a bottle of wine? There are different ways to solve this problem, below I will talk about them:
Method number 1. The simplest and most effective. In order to open a bottle of wine without a corkscrew in this way, you just need to hold the bottle horizontally with one hand, and gently tap the bottom of the bottle with the palm of your other hand.
If possible, wrap the bottom of the bottle with a towel (otherwise the bottle may break!), and lightly tap on the wall. With a successful combination of circumstances, in minutes the wine can already be poured into glasses. It is extremely rare, but it happens that this method takes too much time, so we move on to the next method. Once again I warn you! No need to apply excessive force and knock hard objects on the bottom of the bottle, otherwise the bottle will break.

Method number 2. You can simply push the cork inside the bottle with any object, for example, the back of a fork or spoon, a marker, a pen, a pencil. Attention! Kill…
