Diversity

Today, many prefer modern interiors. Therefore, the use of Japanese curtains has recently become very popular, due to the fact that such curtains organically fit into almost any design. Japanese curtains can be considered universal. They are best suited for large windows. The main rule is that the curtains are combined with the interior of the room.

In order to have more light in the room, the panels can be made transparent.
You can also try to combine light panels with light pink or pale blue. However, in this case, the ornament should be discreet and small. If you want to reduce the light in the room, then it is better to choose an opaque dark fabric.

Instruction

First you need to cut the panels:

  1. To do this, we measure the width of the window and divide it by 60 cm. Thus, we get the required number of panels. If the width is divisible by 60, then the panels will be installed end to end. If the width is not short of 60, then it is necessary to round up and overlap the panels;
  2. Next, measure the length from the cornice, and add another 10 cm for allowances;
  3. At the end, we multiply the resulting length by the number of canvases, which results in the total length of the required piece of fabric with a width of 60 cm. If the width of the fabric is 2 times larger, then the length is also reduced by 2 times;
  4. Next, on a piece of canvas, we cut out the panels and process the sides and bottom of the canvas;
  5. The panels need to be smoothed and the top processed. The top bar, which will be attached to the cornice, has Velcro, which is called Velcro.

Now let's start the sewing process:

  1. It is necessary to smooth out the Velcro;
  2. The curtain is laid in such a way that you see the top edge;
  3. Velcro is applied to the allowance with the front side and fastened with pins;
  4. Then everything is attached;
  5. The curtain is laid face up and Velcro is folded to the wrong side;
  6. Everything is fastened with pins and scribbled;
  7. Next, you need to iron the panel so that the panel is perfectly straight and even;
  8. We make a drawstring from below and stretch the weighting agent in it;
  9. Insert the top edge into the holder.

Summing up

Japanese curtains can be used in many modern interior styles, the main thing is that they are combined and create a single composition. And by creating them with your own hands, you will get an extraordinary and original design of such panels, which will please the eye and become a bright accent of the entire room.
