Unfortunately, I do not remember the author. The house is molded in the same way. Inside, these "architectural structures" are hollow, they have windows and opening doors. Since there is free space inside the house, it can be used as a candlestick, put a small candle inside. In order for hot air to escape unhindered, I even made a pipe on the roof. But do not forget about fire safety rules, do not leave a lit candle in the product unattended!

Stages of work:

We prepare materials. To make the house hollow inside, I take a bottle of a suitable size and wrap it with foil. This is so that the finished house can be easily removed from the bottle, otherwise the dough will stick to it. When the body of the house dries a little, the foil on the inside can be removed very easily.

I roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of 0.5-1 cm, cut out a rectangle from it equal to the circumference of the bottle and put it on the foil. The seam must be lubricated with water for better bonding, for this purpose I always have a glass of water and a brush at hand.

Salt dough is the best material for creativity with children. It is very plastic, harmless, easy to prepare, and the parts are glued together with water. Many children, after the dough has dried on a battery or baked in the oven, love to taste the finished product. Now that the walls of the house are ready, cut out the openings of the windows with the tip of a knife. They can be round, square, rectangular. In this example of a house, I made one window and a door.

I rolled out another piece of dough, cut out shutters and a window sill from it, pasted it on the base and formed a window. She laid bricks around the perimeter of the window and door. To do this, she rolled small balls up to 1 cm in diameter in her palms, flattened them with her fingers, smeared them around the window and door with a brush dipped in water and pasted the so-called bricks.

Stage 3

On the surface of the door, which was previously cut out of the wall of the house, I imitated planks. When the miracle building is completely ready, I will secure the door in the doorway with wire from one side of the wall. The door can be opened and closed after the house is completely dry.

Stage 4

I wanted to decorate my house. I sculpted one sunflower on each side of the door. Each petal is molded by hand and glued to the center of the flower.

It remains to make the roof. I have a suitable size lid on my sugar bowl, you can also cut off the neck of a plastic bottle or use another suitable roof-shaped material that needs to be wrapped in foil. Now I'm making tiles. I connect them together with water (see photos below). I had to fiddle with the pipe. I wrapped foil around the ballpoint pen, bent it a little at the base of the pen, and inserted it into the hole in the roof. Then she covered the foil on the handle with dough.

Stage four is the most creative.

The finished craft must be painted with acrylic paints and varnished. Letting the last layer of varnish dry, we proceed to decorate the crafts - no one limits your imagination in this matter. In order for our dough house to be as "New Year's" as possible, you can cover it with a layer of artificial snow. You need to make a door. Cut out the dough according to the shape of the entrance and make three grooves on top with a toothpick, and stick three thin sausages across.

I really want to decorate such a house, because it is fabulous. I decorated it with sunflowers. Each petal is cut separately. You can simply make a large flower with round petals - it's quick and easy.

Well, finally, I decided to make a craft from salt dough :) For a whole month I wandered around the Land of Masters. I watched, admired, admired, studied, tried on ... thank you dear craftswomen for your generosity and help to beginners. Here's what we need to get started. A can of canned food, or a bottle, a sheet of cardboard, a stapler, a stationery knife or scissors, Titanium glue, paper (painting) tape

We take a sheet of cardboard (in my case it was a box of cornflakes) and fold it into a bag

In such bags, grandmothers usually sell seeds. We fasten it with a stapler.

Cut off the corners of the cardboard in a circle. We glue the finished roof base to the jar or bottle with Titanium or masking tape. Who is more comfortable. I have done both on different occasions.
