This difference should be taken into account because the arrangement of the balcony and loggia has significant differences:
- in some cases, you can take out a central heating battery to the loggia, but not to the balcony.
- when altering a balcony, it is necessary to take into account its "endurance", i.e., the permissible maximum weight.
- the loggia already has three walls and a ceiling, and therefore it will be easier to re-plan the room.
Balcony remodeling - where to start?
You will have to start by signing a number of permits. A ready-made package of documents that allows the combination of a balcony and a kitchen includes:
- general redevelopment project;
- permission for redevelopment with a visa of BTI, FRS, SES, MVK, State Fire Supervision and architectural bureau (with a state license);
- decision of the general meeting of the house with the consent of the neighbors;
- final act of redevelopment.
