How to install

The plinth is always attached only to the wall, and not to the parquet. Veneered plinths made of solid wood and MDF are installed on special clips. First, the plinth is prepared around the entire perimeter of the room: they are cut to the desired length, the ribs are cut off at the joints, cuts are made at 45 degrees in places where the plinth meets the door trim.

Then, clips are attached to the screws and dowels to the wall every 50 cm. After that, the prepared parts of the skirting board “snap” onto the clips. If necessary, the plinth can be removed and replaced with this installation method.

- apply glue to the wall, not wallpaper. The wallpaper will have to be removed exactly to the height of the plinth.

After installation, wipe the holes from the finishing nails with wood putty or seal them with special parquet chalk.

A plinth can be installed on the glue if the walls are even, and there are no gaps between the molding and the wall. Otherwise, the clip-on method is more suitable.
