Plates road pd. Road slabs (PD) All reinforced concrete slabs are available in the warehouse of finished products

Reinforced concrete road slabs are designed for temporary or permanent pavement. They are rectangular flat reinforced concrete slabs 14-18 cm thick. Basically, they differ in size and load capacity. The load, in turn, depends on the brand of concreteused in the manufacture of reinforced concrete slabs. The higher the grade of concrete, the greater the load the future roadbed can withstand. For example, if we are talking about road slabs PDP 30-18-30 (3x1.75 m) and their analogues, then there are two options: 10 load and 30. Index n10 or n30. The numbers after the index "n" indicate the permissible load in tons.

We offer you to get acquainted with the average market prices for road slabs. Similar prices are relevant for many concrete goods manufacturers at the moment (excluding delivery).

Road slabs PDP and PAG

PDP 30-18-30 is of course the most common and popular type. However, despite their popularity, PD road slabs have certain limitations in terms of operational loads. With regular passage of heavy vehicles on them, they are subject to gradual destruction. Especially under the condition of poor-quality laying (bad pillow, insufficiently compacted soil, sand or gravel, etc.).

If heavy truck traffic is planned, you should take care of a more reliable and durable road surface. In such cases, it is recommended to build roads from PAG slabs. These are the so-called airfield plates.

There are two main types of PAG differing in thickness: 14 and 18 cm (there is PAG-20), as well as in size 6x2 and 3x2 meters (popularly they are called "half-pags" :-)) The initial purpose of PAG is the construction of airfield pavements . Therefore, you should not doubt their reliability and durability. Reinforced reinforcement frame and high-quality concrete m350 have a positive effect on the final quality of the product. PAG airfield slabs have a corrugated surface, which also contributes to the operational and aesthetic characteristics. In modern Russia, quite a lot of different areas, polygons, etc. have been preserved, lined with airfield PAGs back in Soviet times, but retaining their main function to this day.

If funds and budgets allow, and you are looking not to tomorrow, but to the day after tomorrow, then the PAG road slab is the most reliable solution when constructing reinforced concrete roads. Pay today and forget your road problems for years to come.

In recent years, road slabs are more and more often used only for organizing temporary access roads. For example: an object starts to be built. There are no access roads. It is necessary to organize the entrance of trucks for the transport of building materials. The bulldozer leveled the soil, poured out a sand cushion, and slabs were laid on the compacted sand base. In general, the road is ready. Firstly, this kind of work is carried out quite quickly, and secondly, the use of ready-made precast concrete at a construction site is effective. You can immediately drive along such a road, unlike a monolithic coating cast from ready-mixed concrete.

Another important positive moment from the use of road slabs is the possibility of their further re-laying, transportation to another object, etc. Thus, we get the opportunity to save on the construction of temporary access roads. Precast concrete is one of the few ways to quickly build a reliable pavement that can be reconfigured later.

Laying or laying road slabs

I would like to mention the main stages and rules for the construction of access roads from prefabricated concrete products. It would seem, stele and stele. But everything is not as simple as we would like. Neglect of elementary building codes and technologies almost always results in additional costs for rework and the purchase of new materials. Therefore, I would like to save your nerves and wallet from possible disappointments from the construction process. So, let's be clear - how to properly lay road slabs. Here are the main steps that you need to follow in the process of building your road.

  • The top layer of soil is cut off. Any bumps, potholes, etc.
  • Sand is brought in. Better career, it is less creeping and dusty than river. Accordingly, it is better compacted (rammed).
  • The sand is leveled over the entire width of the future road (slightly wider than the width of the roadway) with a layer of about 15-20 cm. Although more is better. But it all depends on budgets.
  • Sand must be shed with water and rammed with a vibrating plate (preferably two or three times in layers of 7-10 cm). In general, a vibratory roller would be more convenient, but it would be a little expensive: rent, bring on a trawl, roll, take. In this situation, you can get by with a vibrating plate weighing 100-150 kg. The cushion is rammed and leveled at the same time.

    All work on backfilling and ramming should be controlled with a level or ordinary rope beacons stretched along the level. After tamping, the surface of the cushion must be absolutely flat, without holes and slopes. In the future, there is nothing more to level them. The reinforced concrete pavement of the future road will already lie on this pillow.

  • Road slabs are laid on a leveled and compacted sand cushion.
  • Trailer loops on the sides are welded together by electric welding. This is so that during operation - the plates do not spread and do not disperse. The voids are filled with concrete or cement mortar. This, of course, is not a mandatory event, but after pouring, you get an absolutely smooth driveway, without holes and unsightly pieces of iron at the joints.
  • Here is the road ready. Of course, it doesn’t look like an autobahn, but if you “shake your wallet”, and put asphalt on top, it will be beautiful in general. Reliable, practical and durable. Asphalt pavement will protect reinforced concrete from the damaging effects of moisture and frost.

In no case do not lay road slabs on bare ground without a carefully compacted sand cushion. If you do not make a subbase of sand, then such a road will not last long: one or two seasons. And then: either shoot and lay again on the pillow, or watch how your money continues to dissolve in clay ...

Road slabs - these are reinforced concrete products used for the construction of temporary and permanent roads for cars and trucks. Modern technology has a high load capacity and, accordingly, its own weight. Reinforced concrete road slabs are used when high strength of the pavement is required, fast laying of the road is required. Reinforced concrete is widely used on roads that must withstand the weight of heavy caterpillar and wheeled vehicles, at airfields, where the requirements for them are especially high. The cost of road slabs is indicated

Production of road slabs

Road slabs are made of heavy concrete. Granite or limestone crushed stone is used as the main filler. Slabs filled with crushed granite have a longer service life. Road slabs are manufactured both with prestressed reinforcement (PDN) and with reinforcement that has not been stressed. Road plates are made mainly with mounting loops. Less often, plates are made with grooves for loopless mounting or holes for collets.

The load that road slabs can withstand depends on the brand of concrete that was used in their production. Standard loads of road slabs are 10 and 30 tons. Special quality requirements are imposed on slabs used for the construction of road or railway tunnels.

Application of road plates

Reinforced concrete road slabs are used for both permanent (marking "1") and temporary roadbeds (marking "2"), for example, during the construction of a new facility, to which it is necessary to build access roads for trucks. For the construction of a permanent roadway, a PDN or PAG road slab is usually used.

When choosing road slabs, it is necessary to evaluate the condition of the roads and the level of load that must be supported. When constructing temporary pavements, in order to save money, reinforced concrete road slabs that have already been in use are often used. Temporary road construction technology allows the same slabs to be reused many times, which can significantly reduce costs.

Road slab marking

Plates are marked with marks in accordance with GOST 23009. The plate mark consists of alphanumeric groups separated by a hyphen.

The first group contains the type designation of the slab and its nominal dimensions in decimeters (with values rounded to an integer), for rectangular slabs (marking "P") - length and width.

In the second group, the value of the load for which the plate is designed is given. For prestressed slabs in the second group, grades also give a class of prestressed reinforcing steel.

The brand of plates manufactured with grooves for loopless mounting or with holes for collets (instead of mounting loops) is supplemented with the letter B.

An example of a symbol (brand) of slabs for permanent roads, rectangular, 3000 mm long and 1750 mm wide (road slabs 3x1 75), designed for a car weighing 30 tons, with prestressed reinforcement made of class A-V reinforcing steel: 1P30.18-30AV.

Main types of plates

Road slab 1P - permanent coating (number 1 in the marking), granite filler

Road slab 2P - temporary coating (number 2 in the marking), limestone filler. The plates are designed for the passage of vehicles weighing 10 and 30 tons.

PAG slab - road slab 6x2, prestressed, for the installation of prefabricated airfield pavements.

By series (not all of the listed plates meet the requirements of GOST 21924.0-84, GOST 25912.0-91):

Road slab PDN - permanent coating, prestressed (for example, PDN-AV; series 3.503.1-91).

Road slabs PD - road slab (for example, PD 20.15-6; series 3.503.1-93).

Road slabs PDP - paving slab (series 3.506, slabs for airfield pavements).

Road slabs are reinforced concrete structures that are actively used in the construction of temporary and permanent roads for freight and passenger transport. The use of concrete slabs is indispensable in the arrangement of internal roads in warehouses, as well as industrial enterprises, at airfields, in the construction of access roads within the city, the construction of roads for comfortable movement on slabs of various freight transport.

Road slabs allow you to create a perfectly flat surface. They are practical and easy to use, strong, durable, allow you to reduce the time to perform certain tasks.

The range of road slabs of the PD brand includes prefabricated reinforced concrete prestressed slabs and slabs with non-tensioned reinforcement, made of heavy concrete and intended for the installation of assembly pavements for temporary industrial roads.

PD road slabs are used for operation in areas with an estimated outdoor temperature (the average coldest five-day period of the construction area according to SNiP 2.01.01) up to -40 ° C inclusive.

PD road slabs are rectangular slabs. The working surface of the slabs (the upper surface of the road surface) must be corrugated, and the slabs produced by this upward surface must be rough. By agreement with the consumer, it is allowed to manufacture PD plates with grooves for loopless mounting or with holes for collets instead of mounting loops and niches for them. At the same time, in prestressed slabs for permanent roads, instead of mounting loops, it is necessary to install brackets. Plates for temporary roads are made without mounting brackets. It is allowed not to arrange niches for mounting brackets in these plates. The number of holes for collets and their location is determined based on the technology of manufacturing plates and their installation.

Specifications for the manufacture of PD road slabs were developed in series 3.503.1-93 "Pavements with prefabricated reinforced concrete slabs for temporary industrial roads".

PD slabs should be made of heavy concrete grades M400 - M800 with an average density of more than 2200 to 2500 kg / m3 inclusive, compressive strength class - B30. Concrete must meet the requirements of GOST 26633.

For the preparation of concrete, Portland cement should be used in accordance with GOST 10178 with additional requirements for concrete pavements. It is allowed to use Portland cement according to TU 21-20-51-83. Aggregates - in accordance with GOST 26633 (grain size of coarse aggregate is not more than 20 mm).

Concrete grades for frost resistance and water resistance for slabs intended for permanent roads in areas with an average monthly design temperature of the coldest month (according to SNiP 2.01.01): up to -5 ° C - F 100 and W 2; below -5°C to -15°C - F 150 and W 4; below -15 ° C - F 200 and W 4. Grades of concrete for frost resistance and water resistance for slabs intended for temporary roads in areas with an average monthly design temperature of the coldest month: up to -5 ° C - F 75 and W 2; below -5°C to -15°C - F 100 and W 2; below -15°C - F 150 and W 2.

As longitudinal and transverse working reinforcement of PD plates, rods of a periodic profile made of low-alloyed open-hearth hot-rolled steel of class A-III should be used. For the manufacture of mounting loops, smooth rods are used from hot-rolled carbon steel of class A-I.

Reinforced concrete road slabs are made from heavy grade concrete with strong stressed or non-stressed reinforcement, which makes it possible to withstand significant mechanical loads without deformation. For improved adhesion of car tires to the road, reinforced concrete road slabs have a continuous notch on the front side. The road slab is used at construction sites, logging, in mining areas where a hard road surface is required for the movement of special equipment.

Pavement markings:

  • The letters in the product name indicate the shape: P - rectangular slab, PT - trapezoidal, PSH - hexagonal, PDN - road stressed slab (used for road construction in difficult conditions).
  • The digital marking of rectangular road slabs consists of 3 numbers: the first number indicates the length, the second - the width, the third - the maximum load in tons.

Concrete road slab: buy from the manufacturer

The road slab allows you to significantly reduce the cost of building permanent roads and laying temporary ones.

By appointment, concrete road slabs can be distinguished:

  • 1P - for urban roads with light traffic;
  • 2P - for temporary roads;
  • PD and PDN - for roads with heavy and oversized vehicles;
  • PD6, PD10 - with a hole for installing a well.

Concrete concrete plant No. 2 offers road slabs made in accordance with GOST 21924.0-84. We use high quality materials: heavy concrete М350-400, class A I-III, Вр-I reinforcement. During the manufacturing process, two reinforcing meshes are fixed in the mold at a distance and poured with concrete. The mass is compacted by vibrocompression, which makes it possible to achieve the absence of pores in concrete road slabs. Then the form is fed into the heat chamber for heating. The last stage of production is quality control and labeling of products.

Main technical characteristics of concrete road slabs:

  • value of concrete compressive strength from B22.5;
  • frost resistance exceeds 100 freeze-thaw cycles;
  • the water absorption coefficient is less than 5.7%;
  • road slabs are designed for loads H-30 and H-10.

One of the main advantages of the products is the simplicity and high speed of installation. A sand cushion (thickness 15-20 cm) is applied to a pre-leveled surface and compacted using a vibrating plate. Concrete road slabs are laid on the prepared base. Then the mounting loops are welded on the sides, and the gaps between the plates are filled with concrete mortar. Asphalt pavement will significantly extend the life of the road and protect the cement road slabs from external destructive influences.
