Bosch dishwasher manuals, user manual - Mnogodok. For the correct operation of different models of Bosch dishwashers, we present instructions for use for them. All manuals are offered in Russian and we hope that you will find the right one in the large list of this brand.

The file can be downloaded, printed and used as a guide to this technique.

Household appliances for the kitchen brand Bosch has long taken a leading position in its segment on the Russian market. The company's engineers have taken the dishwashing process to a new level, making it as convenient and thoughtful as possible, embodying these achievements in the Silence Plus series.

Thanks to the combination of modern technology and neat dimensions, the Bosch Silence Plus dishwasher is the ideal solution for a small kitchen.

Do you doubt the need to purchase such a unit? To make a final decision, you need to study the operating parameters, the list of available programs, functionality, operating features, as well as the pros and cons of Bosch Silence Plus. We have detailed all these points in the article.

When purchasing a Bosch Silence built-in dishwasher, be prepared for the fact that you will need to make additional facades.

They are installed so that the equipment does not fall (an unfixed machine can tip over during operation) and the door functions correctly. This rule applies to all built-in appliances.

Models of this series have an inverter motor, which allows you to save energy. And thanks to the pump, developed with the latest technology, and modern sound insulation, the machine works almost silently.

Operating modes of a German dishwasher

The device at a time is able to wash up to a shine a maximum of 9 complete sets of dishes, despite the fact that the water consumption does not exceed 9 liters. The high energy efficiency class of the dishwasher allows you to save energy.

Built-in dishwashers are neatly placed under the countertop. If the machine door is closed, the dishwasher is indistinguishable from kitchen cabinets

Drying of washed dishes and heating of water for washing are carried out due to the operation of the heat exchanger. Technically, this process is associated with condensation, which occurs in a closed space. It should be noted that the penetration of air into the device from the outside is excluded, which guarantees maximum hygiene.

Already at the first stage of washing, cold water is supplied to the heat exchanger tank, then it is heated by energy exchange. In the same way, water is heated for intermediate rinsing.

Add to cart VarioDrawer You can place all the cutlery, which allows them to be cleaned more thoroughly and not damaged during washing. The machine is equipped with a "child lock" function, which protects children from injury, and equipment from failures and breakdowns.

Most dishwashers in this series have 5 programs:

  • Main wash. The name of this program may vary. This one lasts 2-3 hours in hot water (about +60˚C). When the function is turned on VarioSpeed can be significantly reduced to 1 hour 18 minutes.
  • Quick mode. It is designed to clean lightly soiled kitchen appliances and lasts no more than 40 minutes (up to 33 minutes).
  • super wash. Thorough washing for about an hour and a half in hot water at a temperature of + 60-70 ° C. Time - 1 hour 24 minutes.
  • soaking. The mode is used for very dirty dishes or for appliances that have not been washed for a long time. Water reaches +70˚С, operating time - 1 hour 35 minutes.
  • Economy mode(+50˚С) is designed for 2 hours 50 minutes, which can be reduced to 1 hour 20 minutes.

There are also additional modes, for example pre-rinse calculated for 15 min. Program half load makes it possible to start the machine, even if you only need to wash a few sets.

When you need to wash only a couple of sets of plates-forks, then the half load function comes to the aid of the housewives (icon 12 in the device menu)

Also convenient, beloved by many housewives "Auto Program". By pressing one button, you start this mode, and the intelligent system of the machine itself will analyze the degree of contamination of the loaded dishes and select the most suitable washing system.

One of the key advantages of the series is the program rinsing with hot water, during which complete cleansing of detergent residues and contaminants is achieved. This mode will be useful for people with allergies or those who are undergoing a certain type of treatment.

With button delayed start"H" simply delay the start of the wash from one hour to a maximum of 24 hours in the event of a power or water outage. There is a countdown to the end of the cycle, which is shown on the display.

Thanks to the function fault self-identification smart Bosch technology will analyze the failure and display information on the monitor in the form of an error code. The user can find all the comprehensive information about it in the instructions for the device.

Features to improve the quality of washing

The entire series of Bosch Silence Plus dishwashers has a wide range of features, each of which is aimed at improving the quality of washing, in particular, and the convenience of using appliances in general.

By activating the function rackmatic, You can easily create extra space for larger dishes thanks to the tall, adjustable top basket. By giving the box the maximum size, it is easier - you can place plates with a diameter of up to 30 cm, as well as glasses or glasses up to 25 cm.

Thanks to VarioSpeed you can significantly reduce the time of washing dishes by 20-50% while maintaining high quality processing. Please note that when this function is activated, the consumption of water and energy increases.

Most models of the series can accommodate from 9 to 14 sets of dishes. It is very convenient for families of 3-4 people

Innovative technology from Bosch AquaStop provides full protection against any leaks for the entire service life of the device. This feature allows dishwasher owners to safely leave the appliance on all night or when they are not at home.

AquaVario Provides both gentle and thorough laundering of fragile dishes. Therefore, glasses and cups made of porcelain or thin glass, which require special handling, can be safely loaded into the machine.

Additional function hygienic washing increases the quality of cleaned dishes by raising the temperature of the water. It is worth choosing for cleaning cutting boards, baby bottles and plates.

German dishwashers of the new generation automatically recognize the detergent used and adapt to its characteristics. To process dishes, you do not need to reconfigure the machine by changing the preparation

Function IntensiveZone automatically forms a special zone within which the process of more intensive washing out takes place. That is, you can wash heavily soiled plates and a frying pan in the upper zone (this will be the IntensiveZone), and relatively clean cups and saucers in the lower zone.

From a technical point of view, hotter water and a larger volume of it will flow into the upper compartment.

Features of the operation of the Bosch machine

To start the process of washing dishes, you should load the plates, turn on the machine, open the water supply valve to the unit and press the "ON / OFF" button, the desired program and "Start" one after the other. The cycle will start after the door closes.

To turn off the machine, you need to wait until the end of the program, then, when the system unlocks the hatch, fully open it and press the shutdown button. Next, turn off the water, wait for the dishes to cool completely and remove them from the bottom up. This is done so that drops of water do not get on clean and dry dishes.

The loading space is skillfully designed: it is easy to place pots, pans, and all other cutlery in two baskets at the same time. In the lower basket you can put different types of handle holders for stewpans and pans.

The interior of the dishwasher consists of two drawers, additional compartments and cutlery baskets. Pots and pans are best placed in the lower basket

If you remove the upper basket, you will be able to install large-sized items. In addition, the height of the upper section can be adjusted thanks to special wheels. A family of three to four requires an average of one to two downloads per day. There is a special nozzle for washing baking sheets in some models.

The entire Silence Plus range is equipped with special folding plate holders and a special cutlery basket, as well as a separate compartment for knives.

Please note that appliances made of different metals should be installed separately so as not to spoil them. Your forks, knives and spoons can simply become stained with stubborn stains

All Bosch units are equipped with a modern hydraulic system active water. This innovative technology is used to achieve the highest quality dishwashing. The best quality can be achieved both by an accurate calculation of the direction of the liquid jets that come from the rotating rocker arms, and a suitable pressure.

The developers have carefully thought out the water circulation system in the apparatus. It is produced at all five levels: in the lower large rocker, the liquid flows up and down, in the upper rocker (there are two in some models) - similarly, and the shower located on the ceiling of the sink is responsible for irrigating the uppermost level.

Water enters even the far corners and qualitatively washes dirt from the dishes. In order for the plates to be washed in the best way, try to monitor the indicators of salt (in tablets, not table!) and rinse aid.

For more information about the rules for operating dishwashers of the German Bosch brand, see Included with the device, the user will find a special watering can through which salt should be poured into a special compartment. It is important to observe dosing depending on the degree of contamination.

In order for the Bosch dishwasher to last as long as possible, do not forget to control the appearance of scale or grease on the rocker arms. If they appear, then it is necessary to start an idle cycle with powder and turn on an intensive wash.

The water and detergent dispensers should be cleaned from plaque and food residues so that the quality of washing does not decrease. All these parts are removable, and running hot water is suitable for cleaning them. If the components are heavily soiled, then use a soft cloth, after lathering it.

In addition, it is very important to monitor the condition of the Silence Plus dishwasher filters, as they are often clogged with dirt particles due to poor-quality water. The system consists of a pre-cleaner and a flat filter for fine cleaning, as well as a microfilter.

The filter system in the dishwasher is multi-stage and consists of three parts. To prolong the life of your appliances, clean and wash them frequently.

It is advisable to check them after each use of the dishwasher or at least once a week. If they are clogged, rinse them with hot tap water. If this is not done, then due to the accumulated dirt, the drain pump will block. And this can lead to a malfunction of the entire dishwasher.

Detailed information on the rules for cleaning the dishwasher is given in.

This is how the name Silence plus of the Bosch dishwasher series sounds when translated into Russian. An inverter-type engine, a pump made on the basis of the latest technical achievements, all this, together with an improved noise insulation system, make the operation of the machines of this model completely inaudible. What distinguishes the Bosch dishwasher SMS40I08RU (a specific example of a machine) in a long line of similar devices from competing manufacturers.

Deciphering the letters of the SPV and SMS models

It is not difficult to figure this out if you know how the letters in the name of the purchased model are correctly deciphered. In these abbreviations, these alphabetic characters mean:

  • S - spueler (rinse), in the case of the first character in writing;
  • P - Means width 45 cm (narrow, new generation) and M - standard width (60 centimeters), also new generation. With the option of the second character in the model name of the dishwasher.
  • The letter V - indicates that this model is embedded with an open access panel. S - on the contrary, speaks of a stand-alone device.

Bosch Series Features - Silence Plus

The main distinguishing feature, as already mentioned, is the almost silent operation of the machines of this series. What is very important when living in a small apartment, given the fact that they use (dishwasher) mainly at night, loading dirty dishes accumulated during the day (evening) into it.

A distinctive innovation is the increased safety of the machine, the door is equipped with a protective function against children, that is, from changing the set washing program and opening the machine door during operation. The function of incomplete loading allows you not to wait for the accumulation of dishes that need to be washed, by using a sensor sensor to determine the number of cutlery and the volume of water needed to wash it. Thus, saving time, electricity needed for heating and the water supply itself. It is worth noting the presence of a double rocker for washing hard-to-reach places of dishes (which was not in earlier models) and five directions of water and washing liquids supplied under pressure. Height-adjustable upper basket of the Bosch dishwasher, freeing up space in its lower compartment for large items (pans, pots, etc.).

Instructions for the user for using the dishwasher

There are no changes in the installation, use and care of the Bosch Silence plus dishwasher models SPV and SMS, which are different from other appliances of the same purpose.

Instructions on how to use the Bosch dishwasher, after connecting it to the water supply, electricity and ground, step by step consist of the following steps:

  1. Before the machine is switched on for the first time, the type of detergent used (gel, powder, tablet) is determined in the settings program and its direct loading into a specially designated container.
  2. The same actions in the same sequence are performed with rinse aids for clean dishes.
  3. Loading, correct dosage of regenerating salts.
  4. Trial placement of dishes on the shelves of different compartments (upper, lower) in various variants of its (dishes) combinations.
  5. Closing the door and turning on the water supply to the machine with the pre-selection of the automatic washing program: intensive, medium or light. Comparison of the obtained washing result with the quality declared by the appliance manufacturer
  6. Perform similar operations with all functions (delay timer, partial load function, etc.) and the capabilities of the machine model.

At the end of all checks, you should pay attention to the fact that when you open the washing compartment immediately after the end of the dishwasher, hot steam is emitted. If you have additional questions, you should carefully reread the instructions for installing, connecting and using the device you purchased.

An incorrectly installed and connected dishwasher will automatically lead to a malfunction and the performance of its direct functions. If you can’t solve the problems yourself, you should contact the company’s service center or use the services of a professional master.

Video user manual

How to use a Bosch dishwasher correctly is described in detail in the instructions that come with each appliance of the Bosch brand. For visual perception and understanding of the actions taken, you can watch the video.

If you still doubt whether you need a dishwasher? No doubt you need it! We asked ourselves this question when we bought a built-in kitchen. This is far from a superfluous technique, and even more so it’s not a whim (I was told that too). You will never wash glassware like a machine! And at 65 degrees you are unlikely to wash with your hands.

So about the car. Bought Bosch Silence Plus Spv40e40en about 2 years ago. Immediately with the new kitchen, it was not possible to take it, but they provided a place for it. They hung the facade and everything looked decent.

Characteristics :

1. The car belongs to the budget option. Bought in 15 in Eldorado for 23,000 rubles.

2. Width 45 cm - narrow.

3. With the use of the machine, the water consumption in the kitchen has become less, much less. Less than 1 cubic meter is obtained per month.

But electricity began to burn more, but not critical.

3. According to the declared characteristics, 9 sets of dishes are included. We have a family of 3 people. I turn it on once a day, all the dishes are included. When there are some major holidays with guests, almost everything is placed, with the exception of dishes for cooking hot.

This is usually done by the husband: he always fits more than me. He calls it "playing Tetris".

4. Works quietly, at the end a signal sounds, but unobtrusive.

5. 4 operating modes: normal at 65 degrees, economical with less water and electricity consumption - 50 degrees, for washing glass - 40 and pre-rinsing.

Most often we use the usual mode, very rarely IVF, they wash the same time. Rinsing was never included.

6. Washing lasts approximately 2.5 hours. I think it's long.

7. I am satisfied with the quality of the washed dishes. BUT! If something is very burnt, it will not wash off. Washes the pre-soaked baking sheet.

Naturally, everything must be properly packed: dishes - upside down.

For devices - separate boxing.

8. I sometimes smell the mugs, I attribute this to the use of certain laundry tablets. The husband does not feel anything.

Added: the pills were still to blame. Now I found pills from which there is no smell.

9. There are salt and rinse aid loading indicators.

Start delay. The controls are simple and intuitive.

To achieve good washing results, the washer must be supplied with soft, almost calcium-free water.

Otherwise, scale will form on the dishes and on the inside walls of the machine. Tap water, the calcium hardness of which exceeds the permissible value of the degree of hardness, must be purified from calcium salts before it is used in a washing machine.

Device setup

The first step is to find out the value of the hardness of tap water. The water management department or the service center will help you with this.

You will determine the setting value from the water hardness table.

To change the setting, press the program selection key AT .

Each press increases the set value by one (adjustment range 0 to 3).

It takes approx. 4 liters of water. The water consumption per wash as a result of this will increase, depending on the setting of the device, from 0 to max. 4 liters.

Water hardness table

4. Adding salt to soften water

During washing, the salt is automatically washed out of the tank where it is located and enters the water softener tank, where it dissolves the calcium salts. A solution containing calcium salts is pumped out of the machine. After that, the system is ready for operation again. The regeneration process occurs only if the salt in the water is completely dissolved.

Unscrew the cap of the container 24 .

Before putting the machine into operation, you must fill the salt container with approx. 1 liter of water. For this purpose, use the supplied salt funnel.

Load then so much salt ( but not cookery!) so that the container is full to the brim (max. 1.5 kg). When salt is loaded, water will be squeezed out of the container and overflow. Therefore, the salt must always be loaded immediately before the dishwasher is switched on (to avoid corrosion). As a result, the salt solution that has got outside will immediately be diluted with a large amount of water and fall into the sewer. After loading, remove the grains of salt remaining around the loading opening and close the container with a lid, making sure that it does not warp.

"Add salt for water softening" display 6 on the panel will light up first and go out only when the salt concentration in the water is high enough.

When setting the water hardness softener controller to "O", you do not need to add salt to the container of the device, since it is not used in this mode of operation. For settings from „1" before „3" salt is poured into the container.

A warning

Under no circumstances should any detergent enter the special water softener salt container. Otherwise, the water softener will be damaged.

"Salt addition" display

Add water softener salt when this indicator lights up on the panel. 6 .

5. How to fill in the rinse

Rinse aid is used to ensure that there are no stains on the dishes and the glasses are transparent.

Use only rinse aid intended for domestic dishwashers.

Open the lid of the rinse aid container 29 . To do this, press the marking on the cover ( 1 ) and at the same time lift the lid by grasping its tab ( 2 ).

Carefully pour the rinse aid up to the edge of the filling hole.

- Close the lid so that you can hear it click into place.
Spilled rinse aid should be collected with a cloth to prevent too much foam from forming during the next dishwashing.

Adjusting the amount of rinse aid dispensed

The amount of rinse aid supplied to the machine when washing dishes can be infinitely adjusted. The controller is set at the factory to the value 4 .

Rinse aid indication

While this indication on the lid of the container 29 remains dark, there is enough rinse aid in the container.

Indication of the need to add rinse aid.

6. Dishes not dishwasher safe

Not intended for washing in the car:

Wooden cutlery and crockery,

Painted thin glasses, antique and artistic tableware (decoration may be damaged when washing such dishes in a machine),

Plastic utensils "sensitive" to hot water,

Copper and pewter utensils.

Dishes soiled with ash, wax, grease or paint.

Items that are completely saturated with water, such as sponges and towels.

Painted glasses, aluminum and silver tableware may change color or fade when washed in the machine. Dishes made of certain types of glass (e.g. crystal) may become cloudy due to frequent washing in the machine.

In the future, please only buy dishes that are labeled as dishwasher safe.

Damage to glassware and porcelain

Causes:

Fragile grades of glass and porcelain,

Incorrect chemical composition of the detergent,

Incorrectly selected water temperature and duration of the washing program.

Use only those types of glass and porcelain, the manufacturer of which indicates that these dishes are suitable for washing in a dishwasher,

Use detergents whose packages indicate that they do not corrode the surface of the dishes,

Select a short washing program with a low water temperature.

To avoid damage, glassware and cutlery should be removed from the machine as soon as possible after the end of the programme.

7. Placement of dishes

The dishes should be cleaned of large food residues, such as bones and fruit pits, but you should not rinse them under running water. Rinse it before

running water is not required.

Arrange the dishes in the machine so that:

She stood firm and could not tip over,

All containers were located with the hole down,

Convex or concave dishes stood at an angle so that water could drain from it,

Both spray arms could rotate freely.

Very small dishes should not be washed in the dishwasher as they may fall out of the trays.

Taking out dishes

To avoid dripping from the dishes in the upper tray onto the dishes in the lower tray, it is recommended to first remove the dishes from the lower tray, and only then disassemble the upper tray.

Cups and glasses

Upper basket for dishes 20

Pot placement

Lower basket for dishes, with shelf 27

Cutlery

Cutlery should always be placed, without sorting, with the concave side down. This makes it easier for the water jet to reach the individual forks and spoons. To avoid injury, please place long, sharp utensils and knives on a shelf (available on some dishwashers) or on a knife shelf (supplied as an accessory).

Folding basket bars (on some models)

In order to place pots and bowls more successfully, the rods can be folded back.

Whatnot (in some models)

In some models, lean glasses with legs and tall glasses against the edge of the shelf, but not against the dishes.

For long cutlery, such as serving spoons, salad tongs, ladles or knives, there is also a place on the shelf where they will not interfere with the rotation of the sprinklers. The bookcase can be expanded or removed again at will.

Basket height adjustment (on some models)

Upper basket with side fixings (Rackmatic)

Pull out the top basket 20 from the car.

To lower the basket, press alternately on both latches, which are located on the left

and on the right from the outside of the basket towards the inside. At the same time, the basket should be held firmly on the side by the upper edge so that it does not fall sharply down.

To lift the basket, grab the upper edge of the basket from the side and lift it up.

Before pushing the basket back in, make sure that it is on both sides the same height. Otherwise, the machine door will not close and the upper spray arm will be disconnected from the water circulation system.

Upper basket with twin rollers at the top and bottom

Pull out the top basket 20 from the car.

Remove the upper basket and place it on the upper (level 2) or lower (level 1) rollers.

Spray head for washing trays (on some models)

With this spray head, you can wash large baking trays or grids, as well as plates with a diameter of more than 30 cm (gourmet plates, spaghetti plates, coaster plates).

To do this, remove the upper basket and install the spray head as shown in the figure.

To ensure that the jet of water can reach all the trays, they must be positioned as shown in the illustration (max. 4 trays and 2 racks).

The dishwasher must always be operated with the upper basket or the spray head for washing trays!

8. Detergent

You can use commercially available liquid and powder branded dishwasher detergents, or these products compressed into tablets (but not hand dishwashing detergent!).

The use of phosphate-free detergents with hard water can quickly lead to white deposits on dishes and container walls. More detergent will help solve this problem.

Whether the detergent is suitable for washing silver dishes is indicated on its packaging.

Detergent drawer

The markings in the detergent drawer will help you load the required amount of detergent:
bottom line: 15 ml

middle line: 25 ml

brimming: 40 ml

If the detergent compartment is still closed, open the lid by sliding the latch 28 .

Upload to branch 30 dishwashing liquid.
Dosage: See the manufacturer's instructions on the detergent packaging.

Important note

Since the tablet-compressed dishwashing detergents produced by different manufacturers dissolve at different rates, it may happen that these detergents do not have time to fully develop their cleaning properties when a short dishwashing program is selected. Therefore, powdered dishwashing detergents are more suitable for short programmes.

In the "Intensive Wash" program (available on some models), adding just one tablet of detergent is enough.
When using powdered detergents, it is possible that you will have to pour a little extra powder on the machine door.

If your dishes are only lightly soiled, in most cases it is recommended to load a smaller

amount of detergent than what is given in the instructions.

Close the detergent container. For this:

1. put the lid on the container,

2. press it until you hear a click.

If you are using a detergent that is compressed in the form of tablets, then read on the packaging of the product where you should put these tablets (in the cutlery basket,

into the product container, etc.). Make sure that the lid of the detergent container is tightly closed even when using tablets.

ATTENTION! IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE USE OF COMBI DETERGENTS

When using so-called combined detergents, which make it unnecessary to use rinse aid or salt, observe the following instructions:

Some products with the addition of rinse aid are most effective only with certain programs.

With devices with automatic programs, such means in most cases do not give the desired result.

Products that make the use of regenerating salt redundant can only be used with water of a certain hardness.

Before using this kind of combined products, carefully read the instructions for use of these products or the information on the packaging!

If in doubt, contact the manufacturer of the detergent, especially if:

At the end of the program, the dishes are very wet.

Limescale builds up.

9. Overview of programs

This list contains the maximum possible number of programs.
Programs. available in your dishwasher, you will find it on the machine's service panel.

Program selection

Depending on the type of crockery and its quantity, as well as the condition of food residues, you can use the program overview to select exactly the right washing program.

If the machine is not fully loaded, then in most cases you should choose a less intensive program than the one indicated in the instructions.

10. Washing dishes

Program Options

Program parameters (duration, water and electricity consumption) can be found in the Quick Guide. They were determined by operating the machine under normal conditions. Because of

Various amount of utensils

Fluctuations in the temperature of the water supplied to the machine,

different water pressure,

Ambient temperatures,

Mains voltage values

And the tolerances of such parameters as, for example, temperature, amount of water, etc., due to the design features of the machine, the actual parameters of the programs may differ significantly from the theoretical ones.

The water flow values were determined for a given water hardness value of two.

Switching on the dishwasher

Fully open the water tap.
