  • paperclips;
  • tape;
  • coffee beans, nutshells, pistachios (for decoration).

We take any large box, lay it out on the floor or on the table and draw a diagram on it (Fig. 1). Then we cut out the shape and fold the vase out of cardboard, fixing the corners with tape. Carefully glue each fold so that the vase does not fall apart. If necessary, glue the outside of the product with paper, wrapping it inward and fixing it with paper clips.

If you have a few hours of free time and a desire to create something beautiful with your own hands, read how to make a simple origami paper vase with your own hands.

In fact, apart from double-sided colored paper and following the instructions exactly, nothing is needed! In addition, origami is a great way to develop fine motor skills, imagination and logic.

A simple paper vase is useful for storing stationery, you can also put a vessel with water and flowers in it.

So, let's get to work. We take a square of colored paper and bend it diagonally, after which we unfold it and do the same with the opposite diagonal (see Figures 1-3). Then it is necessary to fold the sheet in the form of a rhombus and iron the lines with your fingers, along which we will then bend the part (see Fig. 4-6).

Now we bend the left and right corners, turn the part over and repeat the steps with the remaining corners. After that, we unbend the central corner, lowering it to the middle, and bend the left corner. Then you need to turn the workpiece and repeat the manipulations: bend the corners to the center and along the marked lines. The lowest corner is unfolded and unbent: this is necessary for the stability of the vase.

In more detail, the procedure can be considered on the provided step-by-step diagram with images. Connoisseurs say that it is unlikely that you will be able to make a beautiful vase using origami the first time, because the work is painstaking and requires some skills, so it is better to try on unnecessary pieces of paper.

If desired, the vase is decorated by applying touches of glue to the surface and filling them with colored semolina, sparkles, rhinestones or beads.

In the next assembly of pictures, you can see how to make a vase from modules - parts from which a decorative product is then assembled. To make the vase bright, use modules of different colors.

This work is considered more complex and requires experience and thoughtfulness: one wrong step and everything will go down the drain.

We take a plastic bottle of any color, hold it over the fire to bend it: this must be done while the plastic is hot. After cooling, we take a soldering iron and randomly drill a large number of holes of the same diameter. Everything, our vase is ready!

You can take an ordinary plastic bottle and sew a felt case or an old sweater on it. This decor is great for decorating a country interior.

A plastic bottle or a box of chips can also be transformed beyond recognition by pasting over the surface with stones or shells.

The most elementary way to decorate a plastic bottle is to wrap it with printed tissue paper or colored tape, and then decorate it with a matching bow.

You can also wrap the bottle with colored threads or rope.

  • wooden bars 1 cm wide and about 8 cm long;
  • all-purpose glue or hot glue gun and glue sticks.

This vase is made from a minimum set of materials and in a matter of minutes, moreover, if it breaks, you can fix it very quickly. Read on our master class and you will learn how to make a vase from a jar with your own hands.

Also, such an item can be used as a decorative item!

How to make a vase from a jar - step by step instructions

Step 1: prepare jars

First clean the glass of dirt/stains and remove the sticker.

Step 2: glue the bars

Apply all-purpose or hot glue dotted at the top and bottom of the wood blocks. After that, place the bars on the jar and press them down.

If you are using tall cans, simply attach a second row of wooden blocks.

Tip: If you're working with hot glue, you'll need to be very quick, because if it cools down, it will lose its adhesive power.

We made a total of two vases. We also decided to use one of them as a candlestick. However, we would recommend that you do not touch the candlestick while the candle is burning if you have used hot glue. When the candle burns, the temperature of the jar rises, and the hot glue becomes liquid again. As a result, wooden sticks can move out of place, and the vase will lose its shape. However, if you use universal glue, you will not have such problems.

With beautiful flowers, this vase looks really springy! And now, on the eve of spring, this decoration gives us great pleasure!

Another option for turning a jar into a vase is to paint it with birch tree paints and nail polish.

To do this, first paint the jar with acrylic paint in a white/cream spray in 2 coats. Before applying each subsequent layer, be sure that the previous layer is completely dry. Then with black nail polish, draw small spots on the craft. Ready!

Like any other thing, a floor vase can be made by hand. Such a beauty will be in the desired shape, and in the desired color scheme, and much cheaper than their store counterparts.
Materials for work:
Glass jar with a capacity of 3 liters - 2 pcs.;
Tea saucer - 1 pc.;
Plastic container from preserves - 1 pc.;
Silicone sealant - 1 bottle;
PVA glue liquid (construction) - 1 liter;
Building alabaster - 4 tablespoons;
Potato starch - 100 gr.;
Egg lattices - 4 pcs.;
Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp;
Vaseline - 1 tbsp;
Three-layer napkins - 2 pcs.;
Plasticine - 1 box;
Old tube of PVA glue with a narrow nose - 1 pc.;
Glue "liquid nails", white and "gold" paints, blush, eye shadow, face powder, brush, colorless acrylic varnish, water.

Stages of work:
The first stage: we form the basis.
We turn one jar upside down and glue “liquid nails” to it a tea saucer turned upside down.

Glue the bottom of the second can to the bottom of the same can.

Cut off the bottom of the canning container. We glue the inverted container to the neck of the second jar.

Let the base dry for 1 day.

The second stage: we give the vase the outline of the vessel.
Finely chop the egg racks.

Fill with water so that the entire torn mass is immersed in it. We leave for the night.

We wring out the soaked grids.

Tear off large pieces. Fill the whole mass with PVA glue.

Thoroughly, until a homogeneous gruel is obtained, mix the soaked grates.

We fill the space between the neck of the jar and the container with the egg mass.

Apply a thin layer of egg mass over the entire surface of the jars.

We dry the base for 2 days.

We paint white.

The third stage: we apply a three-dimensional drawing.
Print your favorite stencil.

We make cuts along the contours, cut out the necessary points.

We place the drawing on the vessel in a checkerboard pattern in a straight and inverted form (2 times above, 2 times below; top and bottom facing each other).

Draw voids and cuts with a pencil.

Squeeze silicone sealant into an empty PVA tube.

We put a sharp nose on the tube and squeeze the sealant along the contour of the picture.

If necessary, make adjustments with a toothpick.

Dry the sealant for 1 day.

With superficial movements with a large brush, we apply blush toning on the drawing.

Fourth step: make a silicone mold.
Mix potato starch and silicone sealant.

Thoroughly knead until a pasty mass is obtained.

We coat the surface of the figure blank (in this case, a magnet) with Vaseline.

Press the pastry into the flattened dough with the right side down.

Carefully prying with a knife, we take out the workpiece.

Fifth stage: casting the figures.
Lubricate the inside of the silicone mold with vegetable oil (pour it in, then turn the mold over and pour out the oil).

Pour a tablespoon of alabaster (or gypsum) into the container.

Add a spoonful of water there, mix. If the solution becomes thick, add water.

We fill the silicone mold with alabaster solution.

We leave the solution to harden (you can check the readiness by pressing the nail on the figure - the trace should not remain on the surface). We pry the figure with a knife and take it out of the mold.

We repeat the preparation of the solution and pouring 3 more times.

Sixth stage: paint the angels.
We paint over the blanks with white gouache.

The bodies of the angels are matted with face powder.

We dye our hair.

We draw sponges.

Draw the eyelids and eyebrows with a pen.

With white gouache we close the extra layer of powder (next to the bodies of the angels).

Draw the wings in gold.

We apply “liquid nails” on the back surface of the figurines and glue them on the vase.

Step 7: Make roses.
We knead the plasticine, lay it on a hard surface with a thin plate, cut it into squares. In each square we make cuts in a circle from the center.

Gently prying the central center, twist the spiral, moving from the center to the edge. We bend the square corners like large leaves.

We paint the roses white.

We tint them with blush in the color of the volumetric pattern.

The edges are gilded.

"Liquid nails" fasten the roses to the vase.

That is why needlewomen are attracted to vases that you can make yourself, a master class from a craftswoman nika-ethnica how to create a vase from a jar with your own hands.

To make such an original vase, we need:

- a glass jar of baby food (such jars can be of various sizes and shapes);
- Double-sided tape;
- scissors;
- paper and pencil;
- a piece of foam rubber;
– gold contour on glass;
– matte and transparent stained glass paint;
- threads "Iris" (preferably melange).

Before starting work, you need to think over the pattern, and apply its elements with a pencil on paper. The example uses a variety of leaves, but you can come up with your own version of the picture. Butterflies, various flowers or berries will look very beautiful.

Glue the paper decor elements on the adhesive tape, and cut them out.

We place the cut out elements on the jar of baby food, and with the help of foam rubber we apply stained glass paint.

Since the paper elements are easily peeled off, we cover the jar with a continuous layer, not forgetting about its bottom.

When the paint dries, remove the glued elements. As a result, we get a colored jar with transparent figured "windows".

Now we take the gold outline for the glass, and draw a strip along the edge of the transparent "window". We finish the missing details of the picture on the painted part.

When the contour is dry, take a transparent green stained glass paint and paint the places that remain transparent. Contrasting bright autumn colors will also look beautiful.

We apply leaf veins or other elements (depending on the chosen pattern) to the dried transparent paint using the contour.
It remains to decorate the neck of our vase. To do this, wrap the thread around the neck of the bottle in the place where the cap was screwed on. The thread must be laid in tight and even turns.
Similarly, we make a bend at the base of the jar, and continue to wind even turns until we cover the entire part protruding at the base.

A homemade vase made from a baby food jar combined with a bouquet of wild flowers looks much more impressive than any ready-made vase. Since the kids often give their mothers just such unpretentious, but very valuable bouquets, such vases will definitely find application in your home.

The second method is extremely simple and allows you to quickly turn a glass bottle into a spectacular vase:

Minimum cost and maximum effect - in this master class!

Materials and tools for work: an empty glass bottle, masking tape, white acrylic paint (in a tube or spray can), acrylic varnish, brush or kitchen sponge, scissors.

How to make a vase from a glass bottle?

The first and very important step is to wash and degrease the bottle. Otherwise, if there are fingerprints or dirt on it, the paint may lie unevenly or peel off over time.

Cut the masking tape into strips of the desired length and width. For example, the width of the strip will be 2 cm, no more.

Glue the tape in the places where you want to form a pattern. Pay special attention to the neck: right under the ledge, it can be glued with a thin strip. Or even close the neck so that in the end it turns out to be unpainted.

This master class shows geometric patterns on bottles that are suitable for strict interiors and high-tech rooms. However, you can also make other designs, such as cutting out hearts or flowers from masking tape and gluing them to the bottle.

Cover the bottle with acrylic paint. If you have it in a can, then you need to spray the paint, holding the can at a distance of about 50 cm from the bottle. At home, it is better to use paint in a tube: in this case, less harmful substances will enter the air.

The paint from the tube can be applied with a kitchen sponge or a regular brush. When painting a bottle, hold it by the neck. Then put the bottle upside down and wait for the paint to dry. After that, put it upside down and paint the neck.

Thus, it is necessary to apply two or three layers of paint so that there are no gaps.

It turns out that the whole bottle was stained, except for those places that were sealed with masking tape. If you are sure that the paint is already dry, you can proceed to the next step - removing the masking tape.
After that, cover the bottle with acrylic varnish 2-3 times so that the vase acquires a beautiful shine.

The vase is ready! Now you can put in it a bouquet of fresh flowers or a floristic composition made from dried natural material!

Master class on spot painting glass according to a pattern Julia Yu.

How to paint glass according to a template.

To make such a bottle you will need: the bottle itself, spot stained glass paints (they are sold in tubes with a sharp nose), checkered paper, scissors, compasses, double-sided tape.

Painting with dots according to the template: description of the work.

As in working with any other glass, in this work you must first make sure that the surface is clean. Before coating with any paint, the bottle must be degreased and dried. Only after that, you can cut a strip of paper into a box and use double-sided tape to glue it to the bottle. From paper, you need to make such a wide belt for yourself, which will mark the area of \u200b\u200bdecoration.

Now the glued paper can be used as a template. At the top and bottom of the paper with stained glass paint, it is worth prescribing points, making, as it were, rims under the “ruler”. Together with the upper rim, you can immediately draw additional upper dots.

Now you need to measure the girth of the bottle in place of the paper strip. Further, if the volume came out a multiple of five, divide it by five, and if four, then divide by four. That is how many semicircular patterns you can fit along the rim of the picture. Meanwhile, the first applied dots have dried up: peel off the paper and throw it away. Well, using a compass, draw a semicircle on paper, the base of which is equal to the girth of the bottle, divided by a multiple. Let's say the volume of the bottle is 24 cm, then this number should be divided by 4 and make a semicircle with a base of 6 cm. Cut this semicircle, stick it to the bottle with tape and circle it with dots.

You can slightly point the dots with another layer of paint, if it turned out poorly.

So, you can paint as many semicircles as will fit on the bottle.

In some places, you can make dots in two rows to make it more elegant.

Small dots can be written between small semicircles. In general, this painting is very reminiscent of Indian "temporary tattoos" called mehendi, when dots on the body depict elegant lace.

Fill large semicircles with smaller elements - eights, bows or curls. Do not forget to dry the drawing well so that it does not smudge.

There are no strict rules in dot painting: you just paint what is easiest to portray. Elementary details (circle, triangle, curl, zigzag) are welcome here, because you can assemble a charming lace from them.

You can draw and quite voluminous flowers.

You can take additional templates into the work if we are talking about figures that will be difficult to repeat by hand. For example, it is a rhombus and an oval. If you want to draw these details small, cut out small templates from paper and also glue them to the bottle with tape.

Circle these templates with dots.

It turns out a very beautiful part of the painting.

First, you can draw a "draft" of points with large distances, and then outline with larger points.

Paint in tubes is good because with the help of a spout you can make both barely noticeable dots and bold marks.

Very tiny dots will help you make veins.

This method is great for vases, candle holders and cups, give it a try!
