How to get to rehabilitation for free? Rehabilitation from alcohol dependence. How to get freedom from alcoholism? Rehabilitation center after alcoholism

If an alcohol addict is undergoing rehabilitation near their home, it will be good if the center’s employees begin to communicate with relatives

If the rehabilitation center is under the patronage of the Orthodox Church or is located in a monastery, then you should familiarize yourself with the adaptation program for the painless return of yesterday's addict to society, to the family.

4. Do graduates of the center openly say that they were helped in the rehab center of your choice?

Try to find real reviews of "live" people. They will always be different from "fake".

5. Find out exactly where the center is located.

For many alcoholics and drug addicts, it is better to undergo rehabilitation (recovery) away from home, in another region. This prevents addicted children from leaving the rehabilitation center in the early days. A temporary break with family and friends (several months) is only good.

6. In many recovery communities and free rehab centers, guys work part-time.

Consider this - you are not looking for a free boarding house or resort! Your loved one needs a place where they will try their best to help get rid of drug or alcohol addiction.

7. Is drug or alcohol rehab done anonymously?

Find out whether the center provides anonymous rehabilitation of alcoholics and drug addicts or the center's management reports a "new arrival" to the narcological dispensary. This also happens.

Rehabilitation programs in centers of this type offer bio-socio-psycho-spiritual rehabilitation of alcoholics. The proposed recovery will take place in all 4 major areas of human life:

  • - physical state,
  • - psychological and moral stability,
  • - social and family status,
  • - moral and spiritual state.

The main condition for admission to such rehabilitation centers is the voluntary desire of an alcoholic to get rid of addiction.

Pros:

High-quality comprehensive assistance contributes to the internal change in the personality of the addict. Such centers of social (non-drug) rehabilitation often (but not always) provide assistance free of charge and, of course, anonymously. Graduates of such rehab centers confidently return to a full-fledged sober life, trying to restore lost family relationships.

The organizational forms of such centers for alcoholics and drug addicts are very diverse. Volunteer recovery communities, stand-alone non-profit organizations, charitable foundation-supported rehabilitation centers, small communities and large settlements for alcohol and drug addicts.

This is the type of recovery center our Civic Challenge community belongs to.

Minuses:

The centers do not use medications that are used in the treatment of alcoholism in drug rehabilitation centers and dispensaries. Addicts overcome the “withdrawal syndrome” without droppers and pills.

Many come to our recovery community after a course of treatment in a drug treatment dispensary or clinic.
