Modular system Julianna oak ferrara. Color oak: shades and combination in the interior with other colors What colors are combined in the interior

Natural wood furniture is valued all over the world. You fall in love with her immediately and for a long time thanks to the original appearance. Only later, analyzing the model and your preferences in it, you understand that it is also ergonomic, reliable, environmentally friendly. In recent years, Oak Ferrara wood has been increasingly used in the design of the interiors of houses and apartments.

2. Combination of Oak Ferrara color with furniture interior

Ferrara Oak wood cabinets and tables are stylish, thanks to the bright texture of the wood. In addition, this material is not afraid of loads, shocks, humid environments, and there are literally legends about its wear resistance. However, Oak Ferrara would be even more popular if not for the stereotypes. For some reason, it is believed that it is extremely difficult to achieve a harmonious combination of this wood with other interior items. This is due to the fact that almost the entire color palette is dark, and in some places even closer to black. For example, which is on the Internet, as well as furniture for the bedroom, office confirms this.

3. Oak Ferrara color set for interior decoration

Of course, the existing colors in the interior must be taken into account when furnishing the room. Oak Ferrara looks good on objects whose main shade is blue or pale pink. If red is chosen as the main color, then Ferrara Oak furniture should be chosen with great care, giving preference to a chocolate shade or rich burgundy. A logical question arises, is it possible to darken the entire interior, since Ferrara Oak allows this to be done. Designers warn against such a step, because in a room where all the furniture is close to black, it is even psychologically difficult to be, not to mention some kind of aesthetic moment.

.

When I communicate with a customer, I often hear the question - "what are the most popular colors of laminated chipboard now"?

I had to show about 8 colors of chipboard from Egger and say - "recently they order from such decors."

As a rule, if there is no furniture in the room yet, the client begins to look closely at the samples I have indicated and stops at one of them.

Recently, I even began to feel guilty that I was imposing my subjective vision, because I personally like several colors and I begin to assert that sliding wardrobes are ordered much more often from them, but this is not entirely true. Of these colors, furniture was indeed ordered more than once, but most likely the reason for this is my opinion.

Yes, I have to prompt the customer and sincerely want to please him, but, given our modest volume of orders, we do not have objective data - which are the most fashionable.

I decided to turn to the Austrian manufacturer of chipboard "Egger". I wrote a detailed letter with a request to send a rating of the most popular decors that they produce.

But I received the following answer - "Thank you for your message, unfortunately, we cannot provide and publish statistics on the most popular decors, as this is our internal information and is not subject to distribution."

What a pity... If the Egger company provided me with such information, we would have an objective picture of today throughout Russia. But, alas...

And why actually "Egger"? - a question may arise.

"Egger" is the quality standard of laminated chipboard in our country at an affordable cost. Yes, this is again my personal opinion, but many more manufacturers in Russia think so.

Well, Egger refused, but there are their dealers. Then I turned to two large chipboard sellers in Moscow and the Moscow region, they provided me with a rating of popular decors for the period from July 1 to December 31, 2015. for which I am very grateful to them. Their sales volumes are large enough to consider the rating objective.

And so, what is now in demand on the market in Moscow and the Moscow region? What decor by Egger is the most beautiful, the most desirable, the most fashionable today?

1. On the first place chipboard "Oak Cremona Champagne ST3".

It's hard to argue with that. Indeed, I also advertised this color to our clients. Perhaps because it was chosen by previous customers.

Very often I hear - "We are tired of dark furniture, we want something light, but not easily soiled, something woody, but without a pronounced structure of the tree, so as not to catch the eye."

So "Oak Cremona Champagne" is the most popular chipboard color in Moscow and the region. This color is number one in 2015 and I think in the next six months in 2016. they will remain.

2. In second place is a laminated chipboard called "White ST2".

At first, to be honest, I was surprised and thought - why white, because we rarely make wardrobes from white plates? But then I remembered about the kitchens, where the frames are mainly made of white chipboard.

There is one more nuance, this is Egger's cheapest chipboard.

3. In third place in popularity is Woodline Cream ST22.

Not surprising, because it is an interesting decor and very pleasant to the touch. Unlike many, "Woodline Cream" seems to have a velvety surface, fingers feel its slight roughness and warmth. A very good laminate, it is pleasant to work with it and looks great in the finished product - the wardrobe looks very elegant and pompous. A thin beige streak dilutes the white color and gives it "interestingness".

The only drawback that needs to be mentioned is the soiledness. After completing the installation of furniture, you have to spend a lot of time to clean the laminate.

4. In fourth place is Vanilla ST2.

To be honest, we didn’t make furniture from this color very often, but vanilla is in the top five, you can’t add anything here. Apparently demanded decor, many people like it.

5. In fifth place is Lakeland Acacia Light ST3.

This board is very similar to Champagne Cremona Oak - a calm woody structure without greasy woody veins. I can't say anything good or bad about this color.

The pattern of this material resembles real wood, there are pronounced knots. The color is predominantly beige with gray streaks.

If you like knots in furniture, then order without hesitation, it looks interesting and at the same time unobtrusive.

7. The dark decor "Ferrara Oak Black-Brown ST" takes the seventh place.

"Oak Ferrara" has a woody pattern in black and brown tones, I would add an almost black color. We don’t like it very much, because the color is rather troublesome in production. The coating is unstable to scratches, you need to treat it very carefully during assembly and during operation. I would not recommend carrying any items on the countertop.

If you order furniture from this material in a dark room, in my opinion, it will be very gloomy. If the walls are light, there is enough light in the room, such a dark structure, on the contrary, will look solid.

8. Eighth place was taken by "French Walnut ST3".

This is my favorite color among red decors. If you're looking for a warm, light brown tone, look no further than French Walnut. It looks expensive, unlike the annoying Cherry.

9. In ninth place is Bardolino natural ST10.

To date, this is one of my favorite decors, because it has an interesting drawing of the structure - transverse short stripes are applied along the wood pattern, which resemble sawn boards. I haven't seen anything like this in the Egger palette yet.

The material is very unpretentious and structural to the touch.

We got acquainted with this stove at the end of 2014, I don’t know how *long ago the manufacturer began to produce it.

*By the way, in a letter to the Egger factory, I asked to put the start date for the release of each decor, but you know the answer.

10. Tenth place is occupied by "Chocolate Toronto Oak ST3".

The brown decor "Toronto Oak" closes the top ten most popular colors of laminated chipboard.

The color is interesting, but rather troublesome, unstable to scratches, you need to handle it carefully.

11. The eleventh place is occupied by the one-colour decor "Beige sand ST2".

If there is a choice in front of a monochromatic wardrobe frame, then "Beige Sand" is often chosen as an alternative to the darker "Cappuccino" and light "Creamy". In general, it turns out well if this plate fits the interior of the room.

12. Twelfth place is taken by "Chateau Oak Gray Pearl ST9".

This is an unusual color, the woody structure of which really gives off mother-of-pearl, there is something noble in it.

13. As if it coincided on purpose, but in thirteenth place is the most unfortunate color of laminated chipboard from Egger Beech Tyrol Chocolate ST3.

Of course, it turns out that I am imposing my opinion on you, but believe me, many consider the Beech Tyrol Chocolate stove to be the most troublesome to manufacture and operate.

It is better not to put the keys to the apartment on the surface of this laminate, otherwise you will quickly scratch it.

Why scratches are so noticeable on it - I can’t explain, apparently because a light base immediately goes under the top layer.

Very often we receive already scratched laminated chipboard from the seller's warehouse.

If the client has a new apartment and still does not have any furniture of a similar color, we simply refuse to manufacture a wardrobe from this material.

If laminated chipboard initially comes scratched from the warehouse, then how can new furniture be made without scratches? You have to buy extra sheets, choose the best pieces, and sometimes just cover up thin scratches with special markers.

But people like this decor, after all, the thirteenth place out of the 103 colors of "Egger"! Nothing can be done about this fact...

14. Fourteenth place went to "Light Gray ST2".

I can’t add much about him, except that cabinets from him were ordered very rarely. It is only suitable if the client wants to make an inconspicuous frame that blends into the walls.

15. Fifteenth place is occupied by "Nut Aida Tobacco ST3".

An unpretentious color similar to "French Walnut" and "Dijon Walnut". Looks noble in a suitable interior.

Color oak, from light to wenge, have a luxurious structure. Each shade has its own, unique combination in the interior. Examples. A photo.

Oak is a common material for parquet, stairs, doors, furniture, various utensils. Strong, hard wood is resistant to decay, repels dust and lasts a long time. The aesthetic qualities of oak wood are also highly valued. A pronounced large pattern and a huge range of shades in combination with reliefs give inimitable depth. In addition, oak is amenable to processing, of which there is a huge mass, to achieve even more interesting textures, patterns and shades.

In this article, we will consider the main shades of oak and their names, possible combinations and features of shades.

The borders of oak shades range from completely white wood to almost black. There are practically no red shades in the color transitions, but there are enough gold, gray and brown.

White wood can only be found in young trees that do not go into production. Wood darkens with age. And even White Oak has a darker wood compared to what we think of as white white oak. However, on the market, such wood is presented in a fairly wide range of shades: ash white, milky white, silver, pearl, snow white, ivory, parchment, cream, vanilla, etc.

To obtain such oak wood, it is treated with various chemical compounds that bleach fibers, soaked in oil and varnished. Such wood is called .

There are quite a few bleaching technologies, as well as different varieties of oak give a distinct shade. So you can hear the names of bleached oak: milk oak, milky oak, Atlanta oak, bleached oak, white oak, etc.

Fashion on boosted production. It is difficult to find two identical shades of white oak from two different manufacturers. However, the unifying base "white" with a grayish, straw or less often pink tint remained.

Color is a distinctive feature of this oak and it is not uncommon to find descriptions of furniture in the color of milky oak, the color of milky oak, the color of bleached oak, in the basis of which only a shade remained from oak.

If you like exquisite shades of bleached oak, and you decide to make a designer renovation in this style, consider the following color combinations in the interior: bleached oak and pale sunny yellow, light lilac, violet gray, denim blue, pale emerald, gray, gold, silver , black.

Golden hues can also be seen in other complex wood treatments. For example, in the shade of rustic oak.

Rustic is a special treatment of wood, aimed at "aging". Under its influence, the relief of oak wood increases, and the tips of the protruding scallops of the waves are painted in darker shades. In nature, this effect is achieved by prolonged exposure to water and wind. Honey shades are replaced by caramel and the color of burnt sugar is strongly loved by designers. Although this processing does not necessarily give a golden hue.

A golden hue can also be seen in oak sedan, which is also not a type of wood, but a processing technology.

In the interior, such shades of oak are combined with warm shades of ocher: straw, yellow ocher, red, light green, brown, dark red-brown, gold, silver, dark chocolate.

Dark oak could acquire its color in different ways. First of all, it can be oak species that have a natural rich shade. For example, the Cognac oak, which grows throughout Europe, including the British Isles.

The second way to obtain dark wood is thermal processing. In this way, quite dark and beautiful finishing materials are obtained, moreover, it improves the already excellent qualities of oak.

And the third most remarkable: bog oak - an oak that has aged in water for centuries.

At present, they resort to an artificial method of staining, due to which the oak acquires a variety of dark colors.

Combinations of colors in the interior with dark oak will look good velvety orange, reddish, rich tomato color, swamp green, royal blue, gold, silver, black.

Bog oak, which has lain under water for about 1000 years, is considered truly valuable. The wood of such a tree becomes black and very dense. The aging process completely changes the properties of wood, it becomes "iron" and serves for a long time.

With the help of artificial staining, shades of black and smoky colors can also be achieved, which is why black and gray parquets are so common, bringing the luxury of the last century and new technologies of the present into the interior.

But not only artificially aged wood can be black. Such a common Wenge oak grows in the tropical jungles of West Africa. Its wood has a dark chocolate color with black veins, making it appear deep black.

When using these wood tones in a room renovation or design, consider combinations such as black oak and gray white, sky, brown beige, champagne splash, scarlet, yellow, gold, silver and gray.

Wenge is a color all the time, but when you start looking for examples of its use in interiors, search engines show a wide range of brown and burgundy shades. Which of them can be considered Wenge, and which is not?

All confusion occurs for one simple reason. Wenge is a tropical tree native to East Africa. Wood differs in shades in different layers of one log. In the center it is brown, and in the sapwood it turns into a cappuccino and can overflow with milk. At the same time, in younger trunks, the color is less saturated. In addition, the mineral composition of the soil affects the color.

Since natural wood has high strength and a pronounced texture of coarse fibers, manufacturers of luxury furniture fell in love with it. And they didn't fail. The material is impregnated with oils so that it is not afraid of moisture, fungus and mold. However, it is not easy to process. Stains, varnishes and impregnations do not take it well. Therefore, all that is possible is to cover the furniture with wax compounds.

In view of all the above features, this type of wood belongs to expensive VIP class materials. Its imitation is actively used to create interiors in which the task is to show the richness of decoration.

Shades

The material may be brown with golden streaks. In this case, any shades are possible from maroon and purple to chocolate and almost black. The only thing is that you need to clearly convey the texture of the coarse fibers of natural wood and add characteristic black veins.

Designers spent a long time deciding which of the possible shades to take as the basis for the reference color. As a result, a single solution was found and expressed in different formats.

  • RGB: 47, 37, 38 (used for website layout, television and printing).
  • HEX: #2F2526 (web design hexadecimal system).
  • HSV: 354°, 21%, 18% (you work with it in Adobe Photoshop).

Of course, living wood has a richer palette. At the same time, a well-defined shade helps in the development of building materials, furniture and textiles.

Manufacturers offer several shades of wenge. But when viewing catalogs under the same name, different shades can be hidden.

Wenge Melinge. Cold mid tone.

Wenge Tsavo. Warm mid tone.

Wenge Aruba. Dark deep burgundy shade.

Wenge Linum.

What colors are combined in the interior

Deep tones of brown look beautiful against the background.

  • vanilla,
  • cream shades,
  • delicate turquoise.

Cold marine notes will slightly extinguish the sultry passion of African wood.

Orange shades are incredibly friendly to wenge. Especially the peach color. At its core, brown is orange to which a drop of black has been added.

Pink tones will match the purple hues of the wood. Saturated accents in pink can be used for sofa cushions, vases. A scattering of red and burgundy blotches will emphasize the atmosphere of luxury and help to make a lasting impression.

Blue blotches are allowed.

Since olive and grassy greens pair equally well with browns, purples and burgundy, they can be used as companion colors in interior design.

At the same time, you need to ensure that there are at least 65% of light shades in the interior. If you want more wenge, be sure to dilute the dark tone with more windows and extra square meters.

Furniture

As mentioned above, furniture of this shade needs to be accompanied by a light color. In this case, the structure and nobility of the material is clearly manifested.

In small rooms, you should not install a headset that is fully decorated in this shade. It is better to use a combination of contrasting tones. For example, let the facades shimmer with a milky-creamy scale, and the use of wenge framed by cabinets will give the desired severity. This option is good for the nursery and the kitchen.

In the living room, you can increase the amount of dark tone and give it a set with upholstered furniture. In this case, be sure to support the noble shade with light walls and flooring. The fewer square meters, the more light shades.

You should not use two types of wood with a pronounced texture in one interior. The best companions for an African curiosity will be bleached oak, ash.

Wenge headsets are good in classic and modern interiors. However, for classic projects, it is better to use this color in a metered amount, making any frames, handles, small details and accents.

The texture of the material is best revealed in modern trends, such as modern, eco-style, African and colonial. This shade is also good for urban interiors in the spirit of constructivism, loft.

Accessories should only emphasize the beauty of the material. She plays a supporting role. Bronze and gold are well suited for warm shades of facades. Cold purple tones will support silver, chromium and mercury.

Sometimes you can find tips to combine wenge with zebrano. It should be noted that both materials have a pronounced character and texture. Such a neighborhood is possible only when they are present in a small amount in the form of accents. It is not worth combining both textures in one headset. The best frame for both materials is solid materials that will not compete with them for the right to be the first violin in the orchestra.

Floor, doors, windows

Wenge color is used not only in furniture. It is good for flooring, creating a feeling of stability, confidence and reliability. At the same time, it is desirable that the doors echo the floors, at least with platbands.

Not every room can withstand the powerful pressure of a dark color. And if you make the door leaves dark brown, it can significantly reduce an already small room. There is an exit. It is enough to arrange only extensions and platbands in a noble shade. And the sashes in this case will be milky-creamy tones.

The same principle works for windows. In the spacious living rooms and bedrooms, you can install frames covered with high-quality imitation African wood. If the volume and concept of the project allows, then it is permissible to use dark window sills.

In rooms with a modest area, it is desirable to assign wenge the role of an accent and an auxiliary shade.

At the same time, there should be an abundance of white and pastel colors around the noble color. In this case, you will achieve the desired result.

However, there are cases when you need to create a subdued intimate atmosphere. Billiard rooms, wine cellars, home cinemas, poker rooms are rooms in which an excess of dark chocolate color is appropriate. But here, too, he should receive an exquisite frame in bright colors. Instead of sewing up all the walls with wenge, alternate it with pearl gray, blue, pale pink, turquoise. Give him coffee and tea shades as companions.

Examples of interiors in wenge color

In the dining room and in the kitchen, it is better to use the classic scheme, according to which dark shades are given a place below head level. In this case, the room will seem more spacious. In addition, dark brown has a relaxing effect, which is not entirely appropriate in the kitchen, where the hostess needs a lively mood for preparing festive dishes.

Wood shades are not necessarily present in the furniture and on the floor. Wenge can find a place for itself on the ceiling in the form of a tiered ceiling. This solution is quite suitable for high walls. In this case, black wall cabinets are hidden, creating a niche effect, and do not compete with the nobility of an African guest.

What if you want dark brown walls? Maintain this shade in the skinali, chandelier and countertops. And decorate the walls and floor in creamy colors. Decorative accents of red, burgundy, green are allowed.

Can wenge make friends with toffee? Yes, if you mix it with golden streaks. A dark shade will emphasize the depth of a niche in a kitchen set. And so that he would not be lonely, we will give him a door, a chandelier and lamps as companions. Chocolate napkins will serve as a cherry in this cake.

When planning the situation in an apartment or office, it is important to choose the right color for the furniture. Drawing under the tree has been popular for a very long time - it calms the nerves and encourages thoughts about closeness to nature, about a rural unhurried life. Ferrara oak has 2 basic tones - dark and light. They can be used alone or in combination with each other and with other non-wood tones. The color of wenge and oak ferrara are at the peak of relevance, but there is a difference between them.

Benefits of Oak Ferrara

Color oak ferrara - what color is it? Dark oak ferrara looks like an almost black vertical cut of a tree. Light is the same cut, but in light colors.

Wood motifs in the color of the furniture are attractive for the following properties:

  1. Light and dark ferrara oak are universal. They can be used both in the office and in the apartment - in the bedroom, study, living room, kitchen.
  2. Wood shades have a positive effect on the psyche. In the bedroom, dark oak ferrara will help you disconnect from the day's problems and fall asleep quickly. In the office, cabinets of this shade will contribute to focusing on an urgent problem.
  3. Ferrara oak in dark and light versions blends well with other shades of furniture and finishes in the room.
  4. Furniture in wood tones looks beautiful and rich.

The disadvantage of dark oak ferrara is the instability to mechanical damage. Scratches on a dark background are clearly visible. Light oak ferrara is devoid of this minus.
