Plastic owl craft. Master class "Craft" Owl "from plastic bottles to decorate the group site. Roses from plastic bottles

Today dear friends, I will show you master class on making Filin from plastic bottles Oksana Abramova. Oksana has a lot of interesting works made from plastic bottles, which you will soon get to know.

And now let's start making Owl.

To make an owl from plastic bottles, we need:

1 - 1.5 l. plastic bottles.
<<>>
2 - 5 l. canister.

3 - metal-plastic tubes dm 20 mm - 90 cm.

4 - self-tapping screws.

5 - spray paint.

Preparation method:

For the base of the neck, we need the top 5 l. plastic bottle.

The most important thing in the work is to cut out the details of the feathers correctly.

To do this, you will need a small knife and scissors.

Now we begin to cut out the feathers, cut off the neck of the bottle with a knife, then we begin to cut from the neck to the middle. Focusing on the middle between the convex parts of the bottom of the bottle. The photo shows how to cut with a marker.

To make our Owl more voluminous, when cutting the feathers, you need to grab 0.4 - 0.5 mm along the bottom of the bottle. If you come across bottles with a hard bottom, then a knife will help you cope with this problem.

For the manufacture of "Owl" we will use only the lower part of our feathers. But do not rush to throw away the top part, you can use it to create other shapes!

First, we start with finishing the legs, fasten the feathers to the finished form (the photo is shown above) and attach them with a wire (we pierce the holes with an awl).

For the manufacture of legs, we need wire and corrugated tubes.

When you start to bend your fingers, be sure to leave a distance between the first and middle fingers (as if bypassing the pipe) so that the metal-plastic pipe can pass through the sheet between them. This is necessary in order for the "Owl" to stand well.

Here's what should happen.

We attach the legs to the body: make a slot in the corrugated joint, where the connection of all fingers;

We insert the upper piece of wire between the metal-plastic pipe and the neck of the bottle, then we insert the metal-plastic tube inside, between the fingers from the wire frame, pointing to the bottom. We wrap it with electrical tape for strength, if it is on a rag basis, it will be even better.

Let's start cutting out the head. To do this, we need a piece of foam 100 mm high.

Use a utility knife, it is very sharp and cuts foam easily.

Top from 5 l. we will need bottles in order to cover the back of the head.

After joining, it is necessary to treat the foam plastic with any putty and, after drying, be sure to sand it so that the surface becomes smooth.

Now we will cover the head with segments from plastic bottles.

We frame the eyes with small feathers. Oksana glued them on glue Moment - Installation (liquid nails).

Be sure to do the second row.

Now we attach the head to the body:

First, find a comfortable position that you enjoy (head up, down, or looking in any direction).

Then cut off the neck with a knife from 5 liters. bottles and fasten with long self-tapping screws, preferably on three sides, for strength.

If you still have free places when connecting, coat them with glue.

Now let's start making the shape of the wings from the chain-link mesh (cell 25x25).

Attaching feathers to the grid with wire

1) Attach the tail feathers;

2) Two rows of long feathers;

3) We close the back with the same feathers as the whole body;

4) For the beauty of the wing, we use feathers from corrugated bottles.

We also paint the entire body of the owl, be sure to highlight the eyes with a different color. Before painting, using self-tapping screws, attach 5 more tail feathers directly to the canister. So the ponytail will look more magnificent.

Eyes can be made from beads or bought ready-made for dolls.

We fasten the finished wings to the body.

That's all, Oksana Filin turned out so cute from ordinary plastic bottles.

How to make an owl out of plastic containers

Any plastic container is suitable for crafts. A little imagination and skill - and even a bottle of shampoo will turn into an elegant little owl.

To create such an owl, it took a bottle of shampoo, pieces of felt for paws, wings and caps for the eyes.

The night guard of our garden is made from a 5-liter bottle, spray-painted with facade paint.

This craft is easy to perform, but it looks very impressive.

Preparation of tools and materials

You can make an owl from one plastic bottle by simply painting it and fixing it on a decorative fence.

To make such a figurine, cut off the upper part of the container, turn it upside down and paint it with facade paints.

Or collect a bird from plastic containers of various sizes, using a 5-liter canister as a basis. To do this, paint the body and the wings cut out of plastic bottles white with black strokes-feathers, use metal covers with plastic pupils glued to them to decorate the eyes, and plastic forks painted with black paint for the paws.

For an owl you will need:

  • Two 5 liter plastic bottles.

    Large parts of the bird are made from bottles

  • Plastic canister of 5 liters.
  • Dark plastic bottles with a volume of 1.5 liters.

    Dark bottles are needed to make wings

  • Scissors.
  • Styrofoam cuts well with a knife

  • stapler.
  • Metal mesh for wings.

    The metal mesh is used as the frame of the wings

  • 2 metal-plastic tubes with a diameter of 20 mm for the legs.
  • Glue gun or universal glue.

    Universal adhesive quickly and securely fastens any parts

  • Self-tapping screws.
  • Wire.
  • Corrugated tube for paws.

  • Acrylic paints for outdoor use.

    With the help of acrylic spray paint, it is easy to create an original decor for the sculpture.

Manufacturing steps

Such a craft consists of a large number of elements that must first be prepared and then assembled.

Plumage

For plumage, plastic blanks of various shapes and sizes will be required: for the tail - long and smooth, for the body, head and wings - convex and smaller and very small - for framing the eyes. Wings with plumage made of corrugated plastic containers look beautiful.

Feather blanks should be of different lengths

Large tail feathers are cut out from the middle part of the bottle, cutting off its neck and bottom. The resulting cylinder is cut lengthwise, cut into long strips and rounded on one side. For feathers around the eyes, thin and short strips are cut.

Scissors cut the bottle lengthwise into strips

Feathers for the body, head and legs should be voluminous. To make them, the neck of the bottle is cut off and cut lengthwise into strips, starting from the top and capturing the convex parts of the bottom by 0.5 cm.

It is very important to cut the bottle correctly so that the feather turns out to be a convex shape.

figure frame

The base of the body is made from a canister, in which 2 holes are made from below for tubes - legs. With the help of self-tapping screws, the tubes are attached to the body and bottles without a bottom are put on their lower part with the neck down. Bottle legs are screwed to the canister with self-tapping screws.

As wings, a metal mesh is used, which is first covered with plumage and only then fixed to the canister with staples or wire.

The mesh along the edges is cut in the shape of a wing and bent down

Paws

Strong paws with long claws are made from bottles, wire and corrugated tube. 8 strips are cut from the bottom of the bottles so that they are bent from one edge. Make a wire frame paws.

The frame of the paws is made of wire, the claws are made of plastic.

Plastic strips are applied to them and a corrugated tube is put on each claw. The junction of the fingers is closed with a piece of cut corrugation.

This is what the finished paws with claws look like

Head

On a piece of foam, draw a neck, a head with ears and cut along the contour with a sharp knife.

Using a sharp knife, a head blank is cut out of a piece of foam.

Then cut off the excess foam.

Cut the workpiece, giving it the desired shape

They form a voluminous head with a curved beak.

After trimming, you should get this layout of the head with a neck, ears and a beak

The surface of the workpiece is sanded with sandpaper and coated with a primer or white paint.

Cut off the top of the 5 liter bottle.

To decorate the back of the head, use the top of a 5 liter bottle

The neck is cut off and the rest is attached to the back of the head with screws.

The plastic back of the head is fixed to the foam with self-tapping screws

Construction assembly

When all the details are ready, they assemble the structure.

  1. They cover the legs from the bottom up with convex feathers, overlapping them and fixing them with staples.

    Fully cover the legs

  2. The back of the body, sides and tummy are covered with the same plumage, leaving the back open - wings will be attached to it later.

    The entire body except the back is covered with feathers.

  3. The paws are attached to the body: the corrugation is cut at the junction of the fingers, the upper piece of wire is threaded into the hole between the plastic pipe and the neck of the bottle, and the end of the pipe is inserted into the cut between the fingers until it stops. For strength, the leg is fixed to the foot with electrical tape.

    For greater strength, the legs are fixed on the paws with electrical tape.

  4. The head is covered with convex feathers, fastening them with a stapler.

    Small feathers are planted on glue around the eyes

  5. The head is attached to the body, giving it the necessary position - lowering or tilting to one side. They cut off the neck of the canister, insert the neck of the bird into the hole and fix it with self-tapping screws. The gaps between the foam and plastic are filled with glue.

    You can give the bird a decorative look with the help of spray paint, and decorate the eyes with beads

    To decorate large round eyes, you can use CDs by gluing them to the head with the mirror side out.

    You can paint metal can lids white with black edging and glue dark bottle caps in the center. Or just draw the eyes and beak.

    You can do without additional details, just drawing the eyes and beak

    An important attribute when creating the image of a wise bird is a professor's cap, which is easy to make from a bottle and a piece of plywood. To do this, cut off the top and bottom of the bottle and glue plywood to the resulting cylinder. The cap is covered with facade black paint and fixed on the owl's head with glue.

    Master class on making an owl

    Making a garden figure of an owl from plastic bottles is not so difficult, the main thing is to have a desire to create. A detailed video instruction will help to comprehend the simple secrets of making crafts.

    Video: how easy it is to make an owl out of bottles

    With the help of improvised means, you can transform ordinary plastic containers, turning them into a garden sculpture of an owl. The decorative figure of a bird will become an original decoration of a flower bed or a miniature reservoir and will delight in any weather.

Satrukova Lilia

Everything is very simple! Working time is 3 hours.

Materials for crafts: transparent plastic bottle 1.5 l., 5 plastic bottles brown 1 l (or more, 2 twist bottle caps, black permanent marker, clear liquid nails, scissors, patience.

1. For the base, we need a large transparent 1 bottle.5 liters. In this case owl it will turn out to be about 25 cm tall. You need to cut off from bottle top(neck) so that after that, when we turn it over, the base stands steadily on the surface of the table.

2. From the rest of the dark bottles cut out strips 2-3 cm wide and cut out feathers "by eye". Suitable for both large and small scraps to close joints or errors. Feathers can be cut and bent so that the owl is fluffy

3. Glue each feather one to one in a circle to the base with transparent liquid nails, starting the row from the bottom. The next row should overlap the previous one in a checkerboard pattern. Corners can be pasted over with small feathers

4. After the entire base is completely covered with feathers, you can glue the eye plugs, beak and fluffy feathers on the bird's head, as well as paws. You can paint over the beak and legs with a black permanent marker. The owl is ready! This version without bird wings looks great. However, if desired, you can add wings, then the consumption of brown bottles will increase.

Plasticineography” is a relatively young type of visual activity. It is the creation of stucco paintings with an image.

The figurine of an owl in the garden is not superfluous - firstly, this bird symbolizes wisdom (and this quality will not hurt anyone), and secondly, you can appoint it as a night guard of your estate.

There are many ways to create this colorful bird, let's look at just two of them. We will choose plastic containers as the material.

Owl from a plastic bottle-canister

Of the materials and tools you will need:

  • Plastic bottle canister;
  • 2 small metal lids from cans - for the bird's eyes;
  • 2 metal bottle caps will become the pupils of an owl;
  • 2 aluminum forks - for legs;
  • The paint is white;
  • The paint is black;
  • The paint is yellow;
  • Plastic from bottles - for wings and owl hats;
  • Brush for painting the bottle;
  • Brush for drawing the details of the figure;
  • Fasteners for the eyes of an owl - glue for plastic or just wire.

Various building liquids, detergents or milk are sold in plastic bottles with handles. An owl based on such a bottle will turn out to be quite large - if you attach it to a tree branch, it will be clearly visible from below and even from afar. The bigger the bootle, the bigger the owl.

Such a plastic canister for creating crafts is especially convenient because it has a handle - a ready-made owl's beak.

Paint the bottle canister with white paint. We take either acrylic or spray paint. Read more about what paint is better to paint garden figurines from plastic bottles. The canister can be painted both outside and inside (pour the paint into the bottle and chat so that it spreads). The second option is good because the paint layer will last longer. But if you paint the outside, the paint will last a season or two, and then the craft can be updated.

We prepare plastic for the bird's hat. By the way, such a hat is called academic or confederate. We have planned a very serious and scientific owl! We cut out a square of plastic for a confederate and two oblong wings. These parts are also painted with white paint.

We attach covers to the owl's head (on both sides of the beak handle). This requires a powerful construction adhesive. For example, glue with a fun name, which is able to glue almost any material.

If our fasteners are wire, you will have to pre-make holes in all the covers. It is not necessary to drill (although this is possible), it is easier to pierce the caps with a nail with a hammer - the cap metal is soft.

We make slots on the sides of the canister and fix the wings in them.

We fasten the academic cap - also with glue or wire.

We bend the aluminum forks and paint the “legs” with black paint.

We fix the paws in the holes that we make in the bottom of the plastic canister. However, an owl for a garden can do without paws - in this case, we will simply put it on a branch, pretending that it has tucked its paws and they are not visible from under the plumage.

When ready, draw feathers with a small brush.

Owl from a plastic shampoo bottle

You will need:

  • A plastic bottle for shampoo or other detergent;
  • Lids from small jars;
  • Toy eyes. You can get by with homemade eyes - as in the first version of an owl from a canister bottle;
  • Paint suitable for painting crafts. But you may not need it - most shampoo containers are made of high-quality, evenly colored plastic;
  • Felt or other dense material for the wings and legs of an owl. But wings and paws can also be made from bottle plastic, for the garden it is even preferable - no need to worry that the fabric used in the craft will get wet from the rain or burn out in the sun. But any material on the parts will take a little and it will not cost much money, so over time, replacing the elements is not a problem.

We cut the wings and paws of the bird, fasten them with glue or wire.

Crafts from plastic bottles are distinguished by their versatility: they can decorate both a home interior and a garden plot or a playground. In manufacturing technology, they practically do not differ: garden products just need to be coated with waterproof types of paints, and paper or cardboard that can get wet in the rain should not be used in their design. Plastic products are durable and practically not affected by external factors, so they are ideal for decorating summer cottages and flower beds. Below is a master class on making an owl from a plastic bottle. This instruction leaves room for the imagination, the bird can be performed in several versions, differing in their complexity, so this craft is suitable even for children.

Step by step creation

To make an owl you will need:

  1. Bottle of any size. You need to choose a bottle of a certain shape - “fitted” ones are more suitable for an owl, which narrow slightly in the middle. Of these, it will be easier to form the body of a bird;
  2. Scissors or stationery knife;
  3. Scotch tape or construction stapler;
  4. Paints and brushes.

Two parts should be cut off the bottle. The first is the bottom and bottom of the bottle up to the point where it begins to narrow. If you turn it upside down, it will look like an owl's head with ears. The second is the part of the bottle between the neck and the label, that is, another expanding part. The neck of the bottle should be cut off. The resulting part will have holes on both sides, you need to insert the first blank into the wider one - the owl's head.

The product will look neater if the parts of the bottle are cut in such a way that when connected, a smooth transition from one component to another is obtained. If this effect could not be achieved, you can align the joint using a stapler or adhesive tape. It is important to use them from the inside of the craft so that they are invisible after it is stained.

If the owl is supposed to be used to decorate the house, the only remaining hole in the product must be trimmed for stability.

The next step is painting the owl. To maintain proportions, it is recommended to draw eyes with a diameter of about a third of the entire height of the product. It is better to use acrylic paints - they are better suited for coating plastic products. The paint must be applied in several layers so that the insides of the owl do not shine through, for example, the adhesive tape used to fasten it.

In the event that the owl was created for the home, the product is ready. But if the craft is planned to be installed in the garden, a few more improvements are needed.

  • for attaching an owl to a tree: in the lower part of the owl, you can make a couple of holes through which to thread the rope. She can tie an owl to any branch of a tree, while disguising a hole in the product;
  • for fastening on the ground: to prevent the owl from being blown away by the wind, any heavy filler, such as sand or stones, can be poured into it. At the same time, it is recommended to fix even a weighted owl in one place - for example, overlay with pebbles or slightly dig into the ground.

Owl decorations

A common way to decorate owls from a plastic bottle is with hats. One of the most appropriate for the image of a wise bird is a professor's hat, which is made from another bottle and plywood.

To do this, cut off a flat part of the bottle, glue a square piece of plywood onto the resulting cylinder and paint the resulting headdress black. Then the cap is glued on the owl's head, if it seems that it is not securely held, several slots can be made in the owl's head, into which the edges of the cap should be inserted.

Another way to decorate an owl is professorial glasses. They are made from waste CDs that are glued to the bird's eyes with the mirror side out.

It is worth noting that this decoration is only suitable for products from large bottles, for example, five-liter ones.

However, if desired, circles can be cut out of disks, suitable for decoration and smaller products. The eyes of owls can be decorated with all sorts of methods: pupils from unnecessary buttons or beads look good, glued eyelashes that are cut out from the remaining unnecessary parts of the bottle. In addition, to decorate an owl, you can also glue a voluminous beak to it, also cut out of the remnants of plastic. If desired, the owl can be given additional volume by gluing feathers on it. They are easy to cut from the same bottles, you can also use disposable plastic spoons.

When attaching them, it is important to follow the order and move from the lower rows to the upper ones so that they overlap the joints. Feathers can decorate the entire owl or just its wings. With this design, it is important to remember that a product with a lot of details is more difficult to paint without leaving transparent parts of the plastic, so if the children make the owl, you can paint all the feathers and the body of the owl separately, and then assemble the already tinted parts.
