Rice. 3

5. Requirements for substrates for laying self-adhesive material Technoelast BARRIER

5.1. The base for the waterproofing carpet can be flat surfaces:

· reinforced concrete load-bearing slabs, the seams between which are sealed with a cement-sand mortar of grade not lower than M150;

· leveling screeds from a cement-sand mortar with a compressive strength of at least 15 MPa (M150), respectively, as well as prefabricated dry screeds from flat asbestos-cement sheets, cement-bonded particle boards with a thickness of more than 10 mm, GKL (gypsum board) and GVL (gypsum fiber sheet) ;

· any metal bases, incl. pipes.

· wooden bases (grooved board, moisture-resistant plywood, oriented strand board (OSB), etc.).

5.2. The waterproofed surface must have slopes of at least 2%.

5.3. Laying on a wet or moist substrate is not allowed.

5.4. The waterproofing surface should not have sinks, concrete sagging, cracks, irregularities with sharp edges, oil stains, dust. Oil stains are removed by burning, concrete influxes are cut down or polished. Small irregularities should be puttied with hot roofing mastic TECHNONICOL No. 41.

5.5. The base surface must be even and smooth. When checking the evenness, the gaps under the three-meter rail should only be of a smooth outline and not more than one per 1 m. The maximum depth of the gap should not exceed 5 mm.

5.6. If there are individual irregularities on the waterproofed surface with a depth of 10-15 mm, they are eliminated by filling with putty masses, which must be workable and cracks should not form in them after drying.

5.7. The temperature of the substrate on which the self-adhesive material is laid must be above the dew point temperature.

5.8. By the beginning of the waterproofing work, the compressive strength of the concrete base must be at least 0.75 grade.

5.9. Before the direct waterproofing device, the insulated surface must be cleaned of construction debris, dust, laitance film. The removal of the laitance film is carried out by dry or wet blast-abrasive cleaning. The final removal of dust is carried out with an industrial vacuum cleaner. Surface treatment with cutters that form grooves in concrete is not allowed.

5.10. Before waterproofing, the surface to be insulated must be dry. The moisture content of concrete or cement-sand screed in the surface layer at a depth of 20 mm should be no more than 4%.

5.11. When installing waterproofing, it is necessary to use a primer. Bitumen primer TECHNONICOL No. 01 or bituminous emulsion primer TECHNONICOL No. 04 is used as a primer.

6. Laying material.

6.1. Surface preparation for laying material.

On vertical walls, before applying the primer, it is necessary to stick masking tape around the entire perimeter. The lower edge of the tape should be raised to the height of the waterproofing from Technoelast BARRIER.

The base for laying the Technoelast BARRIER material must be treated with a bituminous emulsion primer TECHNONICOL No. 04.

The primer is applied with a brush or roller over the entire surface of the forthcoming laying of the material, including the vertical one.

After the primer has completely dried, the masking tape is removed and the material can be laid.

The criterion for the drying of the primer is the absence of traces of bitumen on the fingers when they touch the primed surface.

To avoid moistening and dusting of the primed surface, the laying of the material must be carried out immediately after the TECHNONICOL No. 04 bituminous emulsion primer has dried.

6.2. Material laying.

The glued panels should not have folds, wrinkles, waviness, but if this happens, the area with folds is torn off from the surface. A thin layer of TECHNONICOL mastic No. 23 (Fixer) is applied to the surface and the smoothed material is laid.

Self-adhesive waterproofing materials are laid at an air temperature of at least +5ºС. At air temperatures below +15ºС during laying, the surface to be glued and the material are heated with industrial hair dryers.

Before laying, the materials must be kept at a temperature of at least +20ºС during the day.

When performing waterproofing work, precautions should be taken to prevent oil, gasoline, diesel fuel and other solvents from getting on the waterproofing. In the event of a spill of these materials, the damaged area is cut out and a patch is applied.

Technoelast BARRIER material is laid in one layer.

Before laying the material, the roll is rolled out over the gluing surface and tried on in place.

During fitting, it is necessary to achieve a snug fit of the roll to vertical and other adjacent surfaces.

After these preparatory operations, the roll is gently rolled to the middle from the side of the initial gluing.

Using a roofing knife, the adhesive film is cut in the middle of the roll from the side where the roll is glued.

Separation of the release film from the underside of the material web.

One of the workers pulls the adhesive film towards himself, unwinding the roll, the second one smoothes the material with a brush.

For better adhesion of the material in the corners and at the junction with vertical walls, the material is rolled with a silicone roller.

When trying on a roll of the next row, it is laid with an overlap in the longitudinal direction of 80-100 mm.

In order to prepare the formation of the end overlap, a corner of the material is cut off at the end of the roll. The size of the corner is 150 mm along and 80 - 100 mm across the roll.

Formation of lateral overlaps. The material of the adjacent row is also rolled to the middle and a siliconized film is cut. In the place of lateral overlap, a protective anti-adhesive film is pulled out from the seam of the material.

The labeling of the material of the second row is similar to the labeling of the material of the first row. The edge of the roll is smoothed to the base. Lateral overlaps are additionally rolled with a heavy roller, expelling air bubbles from the places of lateral overlap.

Formation of end overlaps. Along the entire end of the panel to form a sealed end overlap, TECHNONICOL No. 22 (Vishera) adhesive mastic is applied, including the previously cut corner of the panel.

Pay attention to the distance between the ends of adjacent canvases. End overlaps of adjacent panels of material must be spaced at least 500 mm apart.

To glue the Technoelast BARRIER material to the base, its surface is rolled with a heavy typesetting roller.

6.3. Pairing vertical and horizontal waterproofing.

When the material is placed on a vertical surface, pieces of material necessary along the length are cut off from the roll. The length of the piece is equal to the height of the insert on the vertical surface + 150 mm (the width of the overlap on the horizontal surface).

The material is tried on and folded along the horizontal-vertical transition line.

At the bending point, a protective anti-adhesion film is cut from the underside of the material along the entire bending line.

Remove the film from the part of the material that will be glued to the vertical surface.

Then the edge of the material is glued to the vertical surface so that the edge of the material coincides with the edge of the primed surface.

The glued material is rolled with a silicone roller to expel the air.

Remove the release film from the rest of the workpiece.

At the place of transition from a horizontal to a vertical surface, a roller of TECHNONICOL mastic No. 23 (Fixer) is laid. Mastic is laid with a gun.

When installing waterproofing from Technoelast BARRIER self-adhesive material, special attention should be paid to the implementation of junctions with various structures (walls, round pipes), the design of external and internal corners of the roof.

In the corners, adjoining the material to the round elements, in all places where the material is under tension during gluing, the lower surface of the material is heated with hot air dryers.

7. Laying self-adhesive material on metal surfaces.

7.1. The material can be used for waterproofing pipes with a working surface temperature not exceeding +45º C.

7.2. During operation, the material must be protected from exposure to sunlight.

7.3. When using the material Technoelast BARRIER to protect welded joints of pipes and their surface from corrosion, the material is cut along the panel into strips depending on the diameter of the pipe.

7.4. Metal surfaces must be primed with TECHNONICOL roofing mastic No. 21 (Technomast). After the mastic has completely dried (when touched with a hand, there should be no traces left on the fingers), the material is glued. The material is wrapped around the pipe with an overlap on the adjacent coil of at least 20-30 mm.

8. Options for cutting the material when pasting the outer and inner corners of the waterproofed structure.

8.1. Option for cutting and laying material in the outer corner.

Bring the ends of the waterproofing material close to the wall. If necessary, cut the roll of material closest to the wall along the web.

Laying material at the junction must begin from the corner. To do this, prepare two strips of material of the required length. The length is determined by the height of the insertion of the material on the vertical wall and the value of the insertion onto the horizontal plane.

The material is brought onto a horizontal surface by 150 mm.

Make cuts in the canvas according to the diagram below.

To lay the workpiece, remove the anti-adhesive film from each section sequentially, in the following order:

· Sticking a petal to a vertical wall.

Lay the bituminous roller in the place of the butt junction of the material sheets to the wall.

Place overlapping material with a roller.

After the outer corner is formed, a patch is placed on it with a hot air dryer.

8.2. Option for cutting and laying material in the inner corner of the structure.

Cut the material blanks according to the scheme below.

Cut the release film along the fold lines.

To lay the workpiece, remove the anti-adhesive film from each section sequentially, in the following order:

· Laying on a vertical wall;

· Laying a bead of TECHNONICOL mastic No. 23 (Fixer) at the transition from a horizontal to a vertical surface;

· Laying on a horizontal plane (150 mm),

· Sticking a petal to a vertical wall.

Places of material overlap are rolled with a roller.

The second blank is glued in the same order.

After the inner corner is formed, a patch of Technoelast BARRIER material is placed on it using a hot air dryer.

9. QUALITY CONTROL OF THE PERFORMANCE OF WATERPROOFING.

ACCEPTANCE RULES.

9.1 The installation of waterproofing must be preceded by acceptance of the base or leveling layer. The contractor must provide the customer with a work log, test reports for the leveling layer material to determine the indicators of strength, water resistance, frost resistance, humidity, as well as acts for hidden work based on the results of instrumental control of evenness and slopes of the surface. Upon acceptance of the leveling layer, its compliance with the requirements of Section 5 of this Guide is determined.

9.2. The evenness of the base is checked with a three-meter rail according to GOST 2789 -75*. The rail is laid on the surface of the base in the longitudinal and transverse directions and, using the included gauge, measure the gaps along the length, rounding the measurement results to 1 mm. The gaps under the three-meter rail should only be of a smooth outline and not more than one per 1 m. must exceed 5 mm.

9.3. The moisture content of the base is assessed immediately before the waterproofing device by a non-destructive method using a surface moisture meter, for example, VSKM-12, or on concrete samples drilled from the leveling layer or roadway slab, in accordance with GOST 5802-86 . Humidity is determined at three points of the insulated surface. With a base area of more than 500 m 2, the number of measurement points is increased by one for every 500 m 2, but not more than six points.

9.4. Before performing waterproofing, waterproofing materials are accepted according to passports in accordance with GOST 2678-94 and GOST 26627-85 , comparing the physical and mechanical characteristics with those given in this Guide. At the request of the customer for a control check of the physical and mechanical characteristics of the material, tests are performed in accordance with the Specifications for its production and GOST 2678-94 . Determining the quantitative characteristics of the characteristics must also be performed in the case of an overdue warranty period for the storage of the material. In case of non-compliance of the received materials with the regulatory requirements, a marriage certificate is drawn up and such materials are not used in the production of work.

9.5. Upon acceptance of the waterproofing, a visual inspection of its continuity over the entire waterproofed surface is carried out, the presence of defects in the adhesion of the waterproofing is determined. The quality of waterproofing bonding is determined visually by the presence or absence of bubbles and by tapping the waterproofing with a metal rod. Places of non-gluing are determined by a dull sound.

9.6. If there are bubbles in the waterproofing, indicating the absence of its adhesion to the base, they are eliminated. The bubble is cut crosswise. The non-glued ends of the material are folded over, TECHNONICOL mastic No. 23 (Fixer) is applied to the base, and their bent edges are glued by rolling the place of the bubble with a roller. In place of the bubble, a patch is installed that covers the damaged area in all directions of the cuts by 100 mm. When installing the patch, the upper surface is heated with a hot air dryer. No more than three patches per 100 m 2 are allowed.

9.7. The adhesion of rolled materials is checked by a peel test, for which a U-shaped incision is made in the waterproofing material with side dimensions of 200 × 50 × 200 mm. The free end of the strip is torn and pulled at an angle of 120-180°. The fracture must be cohesive, i.e. delamination should occur along the thickness of the material. Based on the test results, a protocol is drawn up. The test should be carried out 1 day after applying the waterproofing at a temperature not exceeding 30°C under the waterproofing.

9.8. The results of acceptance of waterproofing are drawn up by an act for hidden works of the established form.

10. SAFETY IN PERFORMANCE OF WATERPROOFING WORKS.

10.1. Waterproofing work is carried out in compliance with the safety rules provided for in Chapter SNiP 12-03-01 "Safety in Construction".

Leveling screeds made of cement-sand mortar with a compressive strength of at least 15 MPa (M150), respectively, as well as prefabricated dry screeds made of flat asbestos-cement sheets, cement-bonded particle boards with a thickness of more than 10 mm, GKL (gypsum board) and GVL (gypsum fiber sheet );

any metal bases, incl. pipes.

wooden bases (grooved board, moisture-resistant plywood, oriented strand board (OSB), etc.).

At the place of transition from a horizontal surface to a vertical one, a roller of TECHNONICOL mastic No.

7.1. The material can be used for waterproofing pipes with a working surface temperature not exceeding +45ºC.

· Gluing the petal to the vertical wall.

Lay the bituminous roller in the place of the butt junction of the material sheets to the wall.

Place overlapping material with a roller.

After the outer corner is formed, a patch is placed on it with a hot air dryer.

8.2. Option for cutting and laying material in the inner corner of the structure.

Cut the material blanks according to the scheme below.

Cut the release film along the fold lines.

To lay the workpiece, remove the anti-adhesive film from each section sequentially, in the following order:

· Laying on a vertical wall;

· Laying a bead of TECHNONICOL mastic No. 23 (Fixer) at the transition from a horizontal to a vertical surface;

Laying on a horizontal plane (150 mm),

· Gluing the petal to the vertical wall.

9.2. The evenness of the base is checked with a three-meter rail according to GOST 2789 -75 *.

9.3. The moisture content of the base is assessed immediately before the waterproofing device by a non-destructive method using a surface moisture meter, for example, VSKM-12, or on concrete samples drilled from the leveling layer or roadway slab, in accordance with GOST 5802-86. Humidity is determined at three points of the insulated surface. With a base area of more than 500 m2, the number of measurement points is increased by one for every 500 m2, but not more than six points.

9.4. Before performing waterproofing, waterproofing materials are accepted according to passports in accordance with GOST 2678-94 and GOST 26627-85, comparing the physical and mechanical characteristics with those given in this Guide. At the request of the customer, a control check of the physical and mechanical characteristics of the material is tested in accordance with the Specifications for its production and GOST 2678-94.

23 (Fixer) is applied to the base and their folded edges are glued by rolling the place of the bubble with a roller. In place of the bubble, a patch is installed that covers the damaged area in all directions of the cuts by 100 mm. When installing the patch, the upper surface is heated with a hot air dryer. No more than three patches per 100 m2 are allowed.
