Features of using Nicoband

As we already mentioned, there is nothing complicated in using the tape. It is necessary to thoroughly clean the fixing surface from dirt, dry it. If there are oil stains, be sure to remove them with a degreaser. After measuring, cut off a piece of tape of the desired length. If it is necessary to seal the joint of a complex curvilinear configuration, it is desirable to make sure in advance that the strip can be bent as required. Gently, without jerking, remove the protective transparent film from the adhesive side of the Nicobend. The tape needs to be “planted” in place the first time. If you "miss", raise the strip and press it again, the reliability of fixation will decrease. Press firmly against the surface, making sure there are no air bubbles. Without restrictions, you can work at an air temperature of at least + 5 ºC. It is possible in colder weather, even in frost, but the fixation surfaces and the tape itself will have to be heated.
