Mode of application

The surface must be level, dry and clean. Cut the tape to the desired length, remove the protective film, stick to the desired area and press it firmly. If the temperature is below +5 °C, it is necessary to keep Nicobend at room temperature for at least 12 hours. The use of the material at sub-zero temperatures requires additional heating of the surface. It is not recommended to apply the sealing film on surfaces with an inclination angle > 55° and operating temperature above 80°C.

The sealing tape Nikoband is obtained by one-sided application of a self-adhesive bitumen-polymer binder, consisting of bitumen, a polymer modifier and special adhesive additives, on a foil-coated UV-resistant film.

An anti-adhesive polymer film is used as a protective layer on the side of the self-adhesive composition of the sealing tape.
