Rubber tube vase. Beautiful decorative elements from simple things - a vase from a pipe with your own hands. Manufacturing technology is very simple

If you recently made repairs at home, then there is always a bunch of unnecessary garbage and our advice: do not rush to throw it into the garbage chute, in this pile you can always stumble upon objects that will be useful in inventing fakes - these can be various design details and various decorations for your home. Most often, unnecessary items are the remaining pipes that no one needs, from which you can invent a beautiful designer vase. There are several methods for reproducing our vase.

So, first consider the types of vases made of plastic pipes.

Mounting

We will decorate with the help of unnecessary nylon stockings.

But before using the stockings, we will get acquainted with the creation of the silhouette of a vase using plastic pipes. It would be great if these pipes were designed for sewerage. They fit perfectly in shape and material.

Now let's move on to the manual, which will describe the sequence of work and actions:

Composite decoration for a vase

The sequence of actions is practically no different from the first version of the creation of the invention, but there is still a slight difference and it lies in the fact that the methods of decoration are different.

Now let's move on to the very process of inventing a vase using this method:

  1. We put on the pipes, which we also prepare, as in the first version, hosiery on both sides so that a small empty gap remains in the middle of the pipe.
  2. We apply a small amount of PVA glue to this empty gap so that it is smeared over the entire area.
  3. Now we pour cereals of any type on this smeared gap, depending on your imagination.
  4. Let's wait until the glue hardens, and attach the pipe sections to each other and paint them in different colors, depending on your wishes.

At this stage, we finish making a vase using cereals.

Making a vase from a metal alloy pipe

If you still have an unnecessary metal pipe, whose edges are cut evenly, then it will come in handy for creating our crafts. If the pipe has an edge, then it is perfect for us because you do not need to create a stand for the vase, it will be ready right away.

Using this type of pipe, we will get acquainted with the technique of its creation through the following steps:

  1. To begin with, we will take a roll of ordinary cheap toilet paper and glue our pipe in a circle so that there are no empty gaps. Small wrinkles are allowed.
  2. Now we need black paint, and with it we paint the pipe in two layers, to give it a natural look.
  3. Next, take the powder with the effect of the powder and apply it with gentle movements over the black paint.
  4. For special beauty, you can decorate a vase with beads or beads.
  5. With the help of mounting foam, we create the bottom of our product. We make it this way: we put the craft on a plastic stand and we put the stream of foam in a vertical position. After waiting until the foam dries, it is allowed to paint the bottom with spray paint of any color.

Take note! We can embellish the edges of our beautiful vase with a welding device by welding them a little. The result is beautiful metallic lace.

I hope you understand that it will not be possible to place fresh flowers in this type of vase in the way that they require water, and it will not work to pour it into such a craft, but do not be discouraged, it is perfect for placing dry or inanimate flowers of various varieties in it. In it, they will look aesthetically pleasing and tasteful.

Making a vase from a cardboard product

If during the repair you ordered the right amount of linoleum to your home, then we note that a cardboard tube is placed inside each such roll so that it does not wrinkle and disperse. But for the end result,

you just need to show a little of your imagination.

Separate details of the interior, namely vases, panels and other decorative elements give the interior an individuality and a lively atmosphere. However, interior decoration is not always the work of professional designers who are specially trained in this art and have a natural talent - a room can be successfully decorated, guided solely by one's own taste.

Although most jewelry must be made by professionals, it is also possible to do this process yourself. In this case, we cannot talk about metal or stone products - their processing is quite complicated and time-consuming, but everyone can create simple and at the same time original jewelry from easily processed materials.

To create decorative jewelry at home, you can use not only samples purchased in specialized stores, since their price is quite significant, but also with the help of improvised means. At first glance, their appearance may not correspond to the final goal, but in skillful hands, from waste material, you can create a real masterpiece of applied art.

Even such an element as a pipe from linoleum, which remains after the coating is laid, can be used as decoration after proper processing. This article will describe in detail the instructions on how to make a floor vase out of this material to decorate the interior.

Manufacturing process

When packing linoleum in rolls, a hollow pipe made of durable cardboard is added to the middle, which is most often thrown away after flooring - it will serve as the main material for the future vase. It will be possible to place dried bouquets, decorative tree branches and other light decorations in it, but it is undesirable to use it as a carrier for planting live plants.

Frame assembly

When cutting, you will have to make great efforts and in any case it will be difficult to call the seam even - it is much easier to cut the pipe with a hacksaw.

  • Using a tape measure and a simple pencil, marks are made on the pipe, which correspond to the required length of the future vase - at least four risks should be made, and a value of eight points would be ideal, since in the future it will be easier for you to combine them into one line;

Note!
A large number of marks guarantees an even cut, which in turn will be the key to a smooth surface of the vase - a skewed, uneven edge is unlikely to contribute to the good appearance of the product.

  • After the cut line is marked, you can start cutting. A hacksaw will do an excellent job of this task, leaving a smooth, correct cut without breaking off the edges, as can happen if you use an ordinary wood saw for this purpose. The cut should be carried out in a circle, gradually turning the pipe in the process of cutting - so you will not go astray;

  • Then you need to prepare the basis for the future vase- most often it has a round shape and is made of corrugated cardboard. Also, hardboard, plywood, etc. can serve as a material for it. - the only condition for the material is the presence of the necessary strength to withstand the weight of the future vase along with the contents;
  • The diameter of the base must be greater than the diameter of the pipe to ensure the stability of the future structure - and the greater its value, the more stable the vase will be. The cutting of the base is carried out depending on the material - corrugated cardboard can be cut with a clerical knife, and other materials are processed with saws of the appropriate purpose.

Note!
For reasons of style, it often happens that the base has a size slightly larger than the circumference of the pipe - “as long as it stands”, but do not forget that it is necessary to take into account the presence of a decorative element inside: branches, flowers, etc. - the more they rise above the vase, the more stable the base should be.

  • When marking out shapes such as a square, you should not have any particular problems, but you will have to use a special tool to cut a perfect circle. Since it is difficult to find a compass of this size, it is necessary to find a rope whose length will correspond to the radius of the future base;
  • One end must be tied to a nail, and a pencil attached to the other- the nail is stuck into the center of the future circle, the rope is stretched and, in the taut state, the contour of the circle is outlined. Thus, you will get a perfect circle, since the rope will not let you go beyond the circle, and the same degree of tension will allow you to control the inside;
  • After both elements are cut out, you can start connecting them.. To place the pipe exactly in the middle, measure the distance from the edge of the base to its surface and move the pipe until the length of the segments on all sides is equal - this will be the correct location;

External design

The floor vase can be decorated in any way - light stucco made from flour mixed with PVA, dried citrus slices, herbarium, coffee beans, etc. The only condition for decoration is the light weight of the decor - it is undesirable to use massive metal jewelry for this purpose. As an adhesive for installation, you can use the same PVA or epoxy composition with an accelerated curing time.

Outcome

Vases from pipes from linoleum will decorate any room with their unusual appearance. They can also bring practical benefits, becoming a haven for dried bouquets and light items of everyday use.

Often, after repair, pieces of materials, coatings remain, for example, the remains of linoleum, pipes. They can be used to create a unique decor for decorating a room. For example, a flower vase can be made using not quite ordinary materials. A pipe, linoleum, cardboard boxes, profiled or plastic residues are used. With their help, it is easy to create a unique craft and decorate your home, using simple, improvised means. An unusual designer vase can be made in a short amount of time without any financial outlay.

A vase for which a pipe is used: a master class

How to make vases from pipes? The master class will tell you how to make a floor vase with your own hands from a pipe. A floor vase will be more durable if not thin plastic pipes are used, but a thick pipe, which is usually used to install sewer systems.

You can decorate such a product with your own hands by using old nylon stockings or a cut off part of tights. In the event that the pipe is half a meter long, it must be cut into several identical pieces. The ends of these parts are cut along an oblique line (photo), inserted into each other. After that, a stocking is taken, well soaked in PVA glue, squeezed out. Next, the stocking must be put on the pipe. Let the floor vase dry.

The bottom can be made using cardboard or plastic materials, as well as linoleum, a part of plastic or cardboard is cut out, glued with superglue to the base of the product. The initial design is ready (photo).

The next stage of decoration will require imagination and creativity. A do-it-yourself vase from a pipe can be painted in a variety of colors and shades. A do-it-yourself floor vase, decorated with rhinestones, large and small beads, beads, looks very attractive (video).

Vase from a pipe from linoleum: a master class

How to make a vase using linoleum? In order to make such a craft, you need a piece of unnecessary linoleum. Linoleum is twisted, fixed with adhesive tape. The bottom can also be made using linoleum or cardboard pieces. Pick up, cut, glue or fix in any convenient way.

After that, the floor vase is covered on top with a piece of stocking, pieces of wallpaper or corrugated paper cut to size. Further, it is decorated to your taste and discretion. Do-it-yourself floor vase, for which linoleum became the basis, can be decorated with sea or river shells, beads of different sizes, sequins, beads. It only requires the embodiment of fantasy. The result will be an unusual floor vase made of linoleum pipes, and making it is not difficult at all.

Metal pipe vase: master class

How to make a unique vase from metal pieces? If profiled metal pieces remain, they must be cut exactly along the edge. This pipe will become the basis for a durable product. They take toilet paper or paper towels, glue the pipe over the entire diameter, no empty spaces should be visible. You can create small folds in parallel. Next, dark paint is required, the pipe is painted with it. The paint is applied in two layers, the second layer is applied after the previous one has dried.

Instead of black paint, you can take dark blue, deep turquoise, blue, or purple. But in this case, you need to make more layers for full staining. Each layer will saturate the previous one. It is important that the metal pipe is not visible behind the layers of paint.

Further, the floor vase is decorated with beads, beads, beautiful buttons. The bottom of the vase can be made in an interesting way - polyurethane foam and profile pieces or a single piece of a metal base are taken. The floor vase is placed on a stand, the gap between the bottom and the product is sealed with mounting foam. When the foam dries well, you can decorate the product. Often, paint from a spray can is used for this - this is how a PVC craft will be beautiful and unusual, it will decorate any room. In addition, PVC makes the product durable. Due to the fact that the bottom is fixed with mounting foam, you can not be afraid of damage during transportation.

How to create a beautiful vase from a cardboard tube

If there is a thick cardboard tube, you can also make a beautiful product out of it, which will become the highlight of the room. You will need such materials and tools: glue (any, but it is better to take PVA), masking tape (it is used to connect cardboard pieces to each other, and also to hide the joints of pipe pieces). For decor, you can use any type of fabric. In addition, you will need paint - bronze or gold (but in general this is optional, depending on the previously invented option).

You will also need materials to further decorate the vase. A cardboard pipe can be decorated with small or large beads, different sizes and colors of beads, beautiful buttons, sequins. The cardboard pipe is cut into three equal parts (the work is performed similarly to a plastic pipe). Further, with the help of a wire or by gluing with glue, the pieces are connected. After that, the cardboard base is impregnated with glue, wrapped with masking tape on top. Then you need to wait for the complete drying of the finished product. This will take days.

After a day, you can start decorating the dried product. From above, you can fit the pipe with a pre-selected fabric. Measure a piece of fabric to the size of the pipe, soak the fabric with glue, and then wrap the vase, creating light folds. Then again you need to wait until the vase is completely dry. After that, you can proceed to staining with golden or bronze paint. In addition to conventional acrylic paints, you can use spray paint. When the bronze layer of paint dries, a layer of golden paint is applied on top.

Thanks to such techniques, the product will shimmer and sparkle beautifully. At the end, you can add a couple of beads, buttons, and other decor details.

All kinds of vases are great for decorating the interior. Floor, table, hanging. Of course, you can buy them in the store, but more often than not, beautiful vases can hit your wallet hard. What to do in such a situation when you want a vase, but there is no way to buy it? Make your own cardboard vase!

Usually, real flowers are not placed in cardboard vases, since cardboard lets water through, but for dried flowers and decorative artificial flowers, such vases are perfect!

A handmade vase will turn out to be an interesting and entertaining pastime, and the result will delight you and your loved ones. We offer you several master classes on creating cardboard vases on your own, you will find the execution schemes below.

Floor decoration

To create a beautiful floor vase with your own hands, we need:

  • cardboard tube;
  • corrugated or thick cardboard;
  • PVA glue and hot glue;
  • scissors;
  • newspapers;
  • putty;
  • sandpaper.

From a cardboard tube we create the base of a vase. It can be cut to the desired size.

Now we will make the curly walls of the vase. To do this, draw and cut blanks on thick cardboard. You need to make them as much as possible to make the vase strong.

We glue the pipe to the base (cut a circle of a larger diameter than the pipe itself). We glue the blanks around the entire perimeter of the vase, as shown in the photo.

Prepare newspapers. We cut wide strips of them and with the help of PVA glue we glue our entire vase blank. Apply again with glue and leave to dry. Then we will process the papier-mâché shape: level it and dry it near the battery for at least a day, preferably more.

And finally, the last step is painting the vase. You can choose one or more colors and paint the vase in any way. Paint is best taken waterproof acrylic or varnish.

A beautiful and original DIY floor vase is ready!

In order to make such an interesting vase, we will need the following materials:

  • cardboard tube;
  • sheet cardboard;
  • PVA glue and hot glue;
  • newspapers;
  • paints;

We measure the desired length of the pipe. You can make a table or floor vase. The bottom is cut out of cardboard and glued with hot glue, let dry.

Our vase will be made of cardboard and paper, so the next step is to take newspapers and cut narrow strips of paper. We fold each strip in half, and then twist it into spirals, smearing it with PVA glue or hot glue. Glue them to the cardboard tube. The space between the spirals can be filled with beads or beads, or you can use cereals or beans.

After all the spirals are glued and the glue has dried, you can start painting. We apply several layers of paint on a vase, leave it to dry completely. Then we apply several layers of varnish, wait until it dries.

The vase is ready!

small vase

Such a vase made of cardboard looks very interesting. It is made as simple as possible, and to create it you will need:

  • cardboard box;
  • glue;
  • compass;
  • scissors;

First of all, we will cut the box into parts to make it easier to work with. Then draw circles with a compass. Their size will depend on the size of your vase. You can make it as big or small as you like. We start with the largest circle. Each next circle should be 3 mm smaller. A vase can be assembled in different shapes - narrowed to the bottom or to the top. Cut out the circles. And we begin to collect our vase. Depending on how you decide to assemble the vase, we put the circles on top of each other, pre-lubricating each of them with glue.

The vase is ready. It can be covered with paint and then varnish, or you can use only varnish, preserving the original color of the cardboard and its texture. Looks very stylish!

Moreover, such a vase can be adapted not only for flowers, but also for anything.

Cardboard strings

To create such an interesting decorative vase, take:

  • cardboard tube;
  • thick cardboard for the bottom;
  • leg-split;
  • PVA glue;
  • acrylic spray paint of any color.

We cut the pipe to the desired height of the vase, cut out a circle of slightly larger diameter from cardboard than the pipe - this will be the bottom of the vase. Instead of cardboard, you can take a piece of plywood. Glue the bottom to the cardboard tube with glue. It is best to take building glue.

In a container, dilute the glue with a small amount of water, put the twine thread into the container until the material is completely impregnated.

For such decoration, only natural twine is suitable, since synthetic twine simply simply does not soak and stick.

Now we wrap the pipe with impregnated threads from the bottom up. Wrap tightly so that there are no gaps between the threads.

Let's move on to painting the vase. Spray paint is best to paint the product on the balcony or on the street. It is best to cover the surface and the space around with paper or cling film, put on gloves on your hands.

Such interesting vases can be created with your own hands, using only cardboard, fantasy and some decorative elements. Great!

Floor vases made of cardboard. Master class from Tkachenko Nadezhda

My low bow and many thanks to the author of these works - Nadezhda Tkachenko! See what beauty can be made from a pipe from linoleum, cardboard and papier-mâché! Wow....

A useful little digression for anyone interested in traditional medicine, herbal medicine, Chinese medicine and everything that can support and restore health. I invite you to look at the site "Snadobie.com - recipes of nature" http://snadobie.com. Here you will find a lot of interesting things about apyrotherapy, learn about treatment with bee venom and other bee products. Here: eye treatment with decoctions, the benefits of the chiropractic method, flower medicines, light therapy and much more. Very useful site!

It all started with the fact that in the construction market I asked for a pipe from linoleum. The sellers were surprised, of course, and asked why they gave it to me. My son-in-law grumbled all the way that if we were spotted by traffic cops with pipes sticking out of the windows of the car, then these pipes would cost me dearly. But nothing, we safely reached the house and I began to implement a long-standing Wishlist.

We take a cardboard tube (from a linoleum roll), saw off the length we need (I have 65 cm). We thought about the form, I immediately drew a blank on cardboard.

I cut out a lot of these blanks. The bigger, the better. This is perhaps the most embarrassing moment in the whole job. I rubbed a callus on my hand with scissors.

Glue the pipe to the base. For the base, it is better to take fiberboard, not cardboard. But I learned this along the way.

I glue the blanks around the entire perimeter with hot glue.

now glued with newspaper strips. PVA glue.

When everything is dry, I coat it with a mass of papier-mâché.

I straighten and smooth.

I dried for a couple of days near the battery. Now I spread the putty (I have a finishing knauf), add a little PVA glue to it, and coat the vase.

After drying - skin with a knife. We do this procedure until the vase becomes even and smooth. I smeared and sanded three times.

I start decorating. Here paper art is perhaps my favorite technique. I never tire of thanking Tatyana Sorokina for her. stranamasterov.ru/node/308701?c=favorite . Athletes fashioned from Keraplast - a self-hardening plastic mass. Top and bottom covered with millet and peas.

Painted with black paint. Well, then I poked the whole thing with gold.

I pasted napkin motifs on this vase. Preliminary, of course, primed and covered with white acrylic. The pattern is putty + PVA.

I found such a tube in the medicine cabinet and applied putty with it. I finished it with acrylic paint, went over the patterns with bitumen, and wiped it off with a cloth moistened with white spirit. Covered with four layers of acrylic varnish, with intermediate sanding of the entire surface.

Well, here - already with a bouquet.
