Marking of dry cement-sand mixtures

Comprehensive information about the composition, class, introduced additives, methods and areas of application of the material, its shelf life and release date, weight, technical parameters of the DSP are placed on the packaging. Information about the appointment is marked:

  • universal plaster - M-100;
  • universal - M-150;
  • assembly and masonry mixture - M-200;
  • casting, foundation - M-300;
  • pouring, foundation especially strong - M-400.

The number in the marking indicates the load (static) that the hardened mortar can withstand, for example, the dry assembly and masonry mixture M-200 can withstand a load of 200 kg / cm³.

The presence, qualitative and quantitative composition of additives change the purpose of CPS, as they expand the possibilities of its application. Additives affect adhesion, water repellency, strength and price of the dry mix.

Classification of cement-sand mixtures

According to GOST 28013-98, dry cement-sand mixtures are classified according to density, amount of binders, and purpose. By density, DSPs are divided into light and heavy; by the number of binders - into simple and complex, containing one or more substances, respectively; by appointment - for plastering, masonry, pouring. The standard regulates the parameters of solutions of mixtures:

  • humidity,
  • temperature range,
  • plastic,
  • density,
  • stratification.

The hardened solution is evaluated by frost resistance, density, strength.

Description
Vetonit TT - waterproof cement-based plaster-primer; the best material to use as plaster for a brick wall. Can be used in dry, damp and wet areas. Plaster Vetonit TT is an economical, practical and durable material that is easy to apply, excellent adhesion, sanding and does not shrink.

Areas of use

  • Preliminary leveling of surfaces of internal walls made of mineral materials.
  • Alignment of wall surfaces from.
  • Leveling and repair of old, plastered surfaces.

Foundation and application
Vetonit TT can be applied directly to brick, concrete, aerated concrete, as well as new cement plaster or primer. The basis under Vetonit TT has to be firm, dry, cleared of dirt and dust. Substances that weaken adhesion to the surface, such as dust, paint, oil, etc., as well as water-soluble leveling compounds, must be removed. Windows and other surfaces that are not processed are recommended to be closed with film and adhesive tape. If necessary, dry and absorbent surfaces are moistened.

Plaster Vetonit TT can be sprayed onto the base using a compressor or applied manually using a steel ruler or. If the surface is uneven, then it is possible to apply several layers of the composition, after making sure that the previous layer is completely dry. Each dried layer requires grinding with an abrasive material and is additionally moistened in dry rooms. The drying time of the layer is one day at room temperature. To make the surface smoother, a slightly dried layer is wiped with a damp sponge. The completely dry surface can be veneered or painted with alkali-resistant paint. But usually coarse-grained "TT" (maximum fraction - 1 mm) is coated with fine-grained compositions before painting: in damp and damp rooms - "V" - "VH", and in dry ones - "LR" or "T" - "KR".

ATTENTION!
Vetonit TT mixture is not suitable for painted surfaces, for surfaces leveled with water-soluble substances, for example, Vetonit T, KR, L, LR or lime levelers, not suitable for leveling floors. Leveling mortar can clog pipes, do not pour the remaining primer mass into the sewer. Vetonit TT mixture is not suitable for leveling floors.

To date, putty is the most popular way to finish walls and load-bearing structures. Before the main decoration, the surface is carefully processed, one of these stages is the application of putty. In fact, this is a standard leveling of the base with the help of special building mixtures. According to experts, Vetonit putty rightfully bears the title of the best solution for wall decoration. Compared with other analogues, it has a lot of advantages, distinctive technical characteristics and performance properties.

Applying putty is a very time-consuming process, however, the use of high-quality products makes it possible to simplify the puttying of walls, and also contributes to faster drying of the coating (regardless of the number of layers).

Vetonit Weber is a famous collection consisting of individual putty modifications. The most popular is Vetonit lr putty. Due to its unique composition, it is used for finishing plastered, concrete walls and ceilings, as well as plasterboard partitions.

In most cases, Weber Vetonit putties are used for external wall decoration, as well as a base for painting or wallpapering (for example, Vetonit kr putty). There is also a facade putty designed to level the walls outside buildings (facades).

As noted above, this series presents different types of putty, which differ from each other in their composition and direct purpose. However, aggregates and binders (oil or otherwise) are an integral part of all putties in this series. That is, there are two complementary components, due to which an unpretentious material structure is obtained in use.

Most of the putty composition is occupied by filler (limestone), while polymer glue acts as a binder.

Solution preparation

To prepare the putty that is optimal in structure and consistency, dilute the dry mixture with water in accordance with the proportions indicated on the package. The result should be a homogeneous mass of medium density.

Before you dilute the putty mixture, you should know that water must be added to the solution in portions, while its temperature should be approximately equal to 20 degrees.

Here are some professional tips to follow:

  • After the finished putty is a little infused (within 10-15 minutes) and acquires a more uniform texture, it should be thoroughly mixed again with a construction mixer.
  • After mixing the solution until the putty is applied, no more than 24 hours should pass, otherwise the mixture will lose its properties and harden.
  • If there is still dry mix left in the package, it is recommended to store it in a cool (but dry) and dark place.

Putty application methods

Leveling the walls with putty is done in two ways:

  • mechanical spraying (using special equipment);
  • applying the putty mixture manually (spoilers of different sizes are used).

The latter option is more often applicable for putty polymeric materials. It all depends on the personal preferences and tasks of the person performing the construction work. The putty layer should not exceed 5 mm, otherwise there is a long and uneven drying of the coating.

When applying several layers of putty, each subsequent one is applied only after the final hardening of the previous one.

On the video: tips for puttying walls from experts.

Types of putties and their description

Putty Vetonit is represented by several types. Each product is distinguished by its unique composition and purpose. Thus, the following groups of materials can be distinguished:

  • VH, V, TT - with such marks, mixtures are produced for sale, which are made on the basis of cement. The materials of this group are excellent for any type of premises, they can be used in the bathroom, kitchen and bathroom (where there is high humidity).
  • LR and KR - these markings indicate that putty mixtures are intended for finishing the alignment of walls and ceilings, a coating is obtained that is suitable for subsequent painting or wallpapering. Materials of this group cannot be used in rooms with a high level of humidity.

Vetonite VH

This type of product is best suited for use in high humidity conditions. Putty Vetonit vh, in addition to its main task of preparing the surface for subsequent painting, performs a protective function - it prevents the appearance of condensate on ceilings and load-bearing structures in rooms with high humidity.

Products are presented in two versions: in white and gray. The white model of Vetonit vh putty is simply indispensable if the surface is planned to be painted. The second option is used as the primary layer before laying the tiles.

The main feature of this putty mixture is the ability to use on surfaces made of a variety of materials. According to the instructions, finishing putty can be used on plastered, concrete, stone (brick) walls and bases made of expanded clay, foam concrete, gas silicate blocks.

Vetonit LR and LR+

Finishing putty Vetonit is in high demand in the building materials market, it has a unique composition, low cost and is easy to use. The Weber Vetonit lr putty model is designed for finishing dry rooms, therefore, compared to other brand products, it has a more viscous and dense structure. After applying the Vetonit finishing putty, they begin to wallpaper the walls or paint with specialized highly pigmented paints.

It should be noted that this product is not suitable for leveling non-standard, three-dimensional planes, as well as large-sized objects. This is how most finishing compositions work, whose main task is to reduce the sharpness of the transitions between layers of plaster and paint and minimize surface irregularities. The white base putty is best suited for gypsum and chipboard surfaces.

Putty is available in different configurations, most often it can be found in powder version in 25 kg bags. You can also see the finished putty mixture, which does not need to be diluted with water.

There is also a product Vetonit LR+. This is a polymer putty from this collection. Due to its unique composition, it is ideal for finishing ceilings and walls in dry rooms. This is the starting and most popular model. Its distinctive characteristics are low consumption, fast drying, ease of use and a very affordable price. The diluted composition can be applied over smooth or rough surfaces (plasterboard and mineral materials).

On the Internet, you can find many positive reviews about the use of this product, with most buyers appreciating the low consumption of the material and its versatility. Puttying walls and ceilings with Vetonite allows you to prepare the surface for subsequent paint application.

Important! Putty Vetonit lr plus is usually applied by spraying on walls and ceilings made of plasterboard or chipboard. This starting mixture can also be used as an adhesive layer for the installation of GKL.

KR and TT products

Marking KR - means that the putty is finishing. Before its use, a starting solution of VH is first used. Putty Vetonit TT is a universal composition that can be used both as a starting and finishing coating. In addition, this material is also suitable for finishing facades.

How much material is needed for finishing?

The main criterion when choosing a means for puttying surfaces in a domestic environment is the consumption of products. As for Weber putty, all models of this series have different viscosities. Thus, the version of Weber Vetonit lr putty, as well as individual modifications of Vetonit kr putty, have different consumption.

Before buying a putty mixture, it is necessary to calculate the required amount of material. To make it clearer, consider the consumption of Vetonit kr putty as an example. When finishing walls, about 1.2 kg of the finished solution is spent per 1 m2 of surface, while seven liters of water are enough to dilute the mixture (this figure may vary, depending on the structure of the material).

Various building mixtures are in demand today more than ever. They are light and easy to use, economical, stable composition. But all these and many other important characteristics are inherent in materials produced by a serious proven manufacturer. This is exactly what the Vetonit trademark is. The company produces powder mixtures intended for use in construction and finishing works.

Among other types of products produced by Vetonit, plaster is in the highest demand among professional builders and private developers. About it and will be discussed further.

Features of plaster mixes

The Vetonit company supplies several to the Russian market. It consists mainly of cement, and the filler is limestone, sand, microfiber and other additional components. Today, several types of products of this brand are sold on the market, designed to level walls, ceilings and create a decorative layer outside and inside the premises:

  • Primer. It is used when working with brick and concrete surfaces.
  • White non-water resistant mass intended for manual or machine work. Used to create a surface ready for painting.
  • "Vetonit EP". Non-waterproof cement-lime based plaster. It is used when it is necessary to level a large area in one step. It is advisable to use this material only on a solid foundation, but on weak lime and cement-lime surfaces it will be ineffective.
  • "Vetonit TT". The basis of the mixture is cement, so the material has water-resistant characteristics. The TT brand of the Vetonit company is a plaster that can be called universal, since it can be used to work with surfaces made of any materials.
  • Decorative. Available in several types for the design of different surfaces.

An important detail: to obtain a high-quality end result, you must carefully read the instructions and follow them strictly.

Technical specifications

There are several parameters by which Vetonit products (plaster) are classified. Specifications are the most important indicator:

  • Release form. The plaster mixture is produced in the form of a dry bulk substance, which is packed in paper bags. The weight depends on the size of the package and may vary: 5, 20 and 25 kg. Decorative plaster is produced not only in the form of a dry substance, but also in the form of a solution ready for use. In this case, it is packed in a plastic container and has a weight of 15 kg.
  • Granule size. The mixture is produced in powder, where fractions do not exceed 1 mm. In decorative plasters, fractions can be slightly larger - from 1 to 4 mm.
  • Consumption of dry mixtures "Vetonit". The plaster is applied in a layer of 1 mm. Accordingly, for 1 sq. m will need to dilute a solution of 1.2 kg. The thicker the layer, the more dry matter will be needed to work.
  • Temperature. You can work with the solution at a temperature of 5 to 35 degrees. If the package is marked with winter or an asterisk sign, the material is intended for use in winter and can be used at temperatures down to minus 10 degrees.
  • The viability of the diluted mixture is 2-3 hours.
  • Frost resistance. The dry mix can withstand 80 to 100 defrost/freeze cycles.
  • Shelf life is up to 1 year. But this is on condition that the material will be stored in its original packaging, which has retained its integrity. If the bag is torn, the mixture must be placed in a whole package and stored in a dry place.

Characteristics

The composition depends on the type of mixture "Vetonit". T brand plaster contains organic binder adhesives. The mixture with the designation EP, in addition to cement, includes lime, and the plaster L is made on the basis of a polymer binder.

Thus, for a specific type of work, a material is produced that has the properties necessary for this.

  • Color. The material has light gray, white, gray. Other shades are not provided, since the plaster is not a decorative coating.
  • Strength. Almost all types of plasters have the same strength.
  • Layer thickness. The maximum indicator is 3 cm, the minimum is 2 mm. The exact figure depends on the type of mixture.
  • Adhesion. The plastering material has a high adhesive strength.

Competitive advantages

Vetonit brand products can be used with almost all known materials: concrete, aerated concrete, foam concrete, silicate or ceramic bricks and other types of building materials. With any of them, the plaster adheres perfectly. Due to the fact that the composition is highly water resistant, it is used for plastering rooms in which an increased level of humidity is expected during operation: bathrooms, warehouses, indoor pools, laundries, etc.

Vetonit products are used not only for finishing internal surfaces. Facade plaster is intended for work on surfaces on the outside of buildings, therefore, for its manufacture, only such components were used that are able to withstand any weather conditions: frost, heat, high humidity. It should be noted that during hardening the material does not shrink and provides excellent adhesion to the surface.

Features of working with the material

The process itself consists of two stages. The first is preparatory. First of all, the surface on which the mixture will be applied is prepared for work. It is cleaned of dirt, leveled, cutting off protruding elements and filling up irregularities. If necessary, reinforcing material can be used. If you have to work with concrete surfaces, they are pre-treated with a primer.

After that, the dry mass is mixed with water, strictly following the instructions: use water at room temperature, mix until a homogeneous consistency is obtained, leave for 10-15 minutes, then repeat mixing and you can start plastering the surfaces. Violation of proportions is fraught with the fact that the material will not acquire the characteristics specified for it, especially if Vetonit gypsum plaster is used, which is more sensitive. With the wrong preparation, you can get a result that differs from the expected.

The treated surface, protected from moisture and winds, is left for 48 hours, after which they proceed to the next stage of work - re-applying plaster or decorative finishing.

Cost: How much will the purchase cost?

The most important thing that fans of Vetonit brand products are usually interested in is the price. The cost depends on the type of material you are interested in. For example, a dry mixture of the TT brand costs about 360 rubles for a 25 kg bag, and TTT brand material will cost 370 rubles for a 20 kg bag. If you are interested in a facade mixture min 1.5 Z from the Vetonit company, its price will be higher - about 640 rubles per 25 kg.

Vetonit TT is a kit based on dry, wet or damp room cement used for pre-smoothing mineral materials from a concrete wall, lightweight concrete, easy addition of concrete blocks, and for leveling and repairing old plaster of cement building surfaces.

Vetonit TT is not suitable for application to colored or crushed water soluble fillers such as Vetonit LR Plus, KP and T or L; for application on surfaces impregnated with weak limestone or lime-cement mortars.

The substrate must be dry, firm and not dusty. Materials to be removed should be removed, such as paint, oil, dust, etc., as well as water-soluble leveling solutions.

Windows and other surfaces that are not treated must be carefully protected. If necessary, dry the dry and absorbent material.

Soft bag (25 kg) Vetonit TT is mixed with 6 liters of clean water (24% by weight of the dry mix).

Mixing produces a powerful drill with a nozzle within 1-2 minutes. For better dissolution of the binder, the mixture is left to stand for about 15 minutes. After repeated mixing, the mixture is ready for use.

The solution mixture is suitable for use within 3 hours after mixing with water (at +20°C). The temperature of the mortar solution must be above + 10 ° C. After use, the solution cannot be poured into the sewer system, so as not to clog the tube.

You can also use the Serpo 414 Unirender solution to fill the depression. For fine leveling of the surface, fillers Vetonit L, B and LL Plus, KP and BX are used; Thicker layers (greater than 3 mm) can be made using a TT primer.

Vetonit TT is mechanically applied by spray or by hand using a two-handed blade.

During mechanical application, the primer is sprayed onto the wall in a flat layer. If leveling is carried out in several layers, it is necessary to make sure that the previous layer is completely dry (within 1-2 days). After each application, the dried surface is finished with fine paper sanding. Wash tools and equipment with water immediately after finishing work.

When dry, the leveled surface is moistened with water for several days.

When thin layers (at least 2 mm) are produced, the importance of moisture increases! The reinforced structure can be painted with alkali-resistant (cement-resistant) paints.

Tiles can be made using the appropriate Vetonit adhesive and laying the tiles directly on top of a TT coated floor, tile placement instructions.

Self-leveling soil mixtures "Vetonit". Description, variety. Methods for filling the mixture "Vetonit"

Department:

Specialty markets and shops are packed upstairs with a variety of building materials, including making your floor irresistible.

We will talk about dry soil mixers called Vetonit.

In general, "Vetonit" is a trademark of the Finnish company that produces the products of the same name "OPTIROC", from a set for walls and ceilings to a tile adhesive formulation from leveling compound to the ground.

In any self-respecting construction trade, there are about ten types of Vetonit mixing mixtures. The main "binding" force in them is simple cement.

However, cement alone will not work, because in addition to "sand" and "cement", Vetonit includes special additives that help to quickly dissolve and completely empty the mortar.

There is a reasonable question: why are "vetonites" so big for sex?

Their main difference is that at the same air temperature (+20°C) and relative humidity (about 50%) they dry and harden at different rates.

The second difference is the amount of water added to these mixtures to make a solution. Considering the common characteristics of all "vetonites" with them, the fact that no type of "vetonite" can be used without a floor covering that floats higher and is not subject to coloration. Please note that the "Vetonite" function is simply the preparation of the floor for the coating itself.

On the box of compounds you can find the following inscriptions: "leveling compounds" or "self-leveling compounds".

All of these mixtures are liquid. Self-levelling mixtures spread with little or no outside help. If the space in this area is large, then, as a rule, such mixtures are poured using a transfer device (pump). Combining compounds require active cooperation and the help of the "human factor", since they must be manually lubricated with a spatula.

As we have already noted, Vetonit is necessary for leveling the soil.

What shell can I put on top? You can use any material to your taste: it can be linoleum, tiles, carpets, parquet. We are not afraid to say that Vetonite is universal. It is also suitable for residential and public spaces. Filling and "greasing" can be directly on the substrate (concrete floors, wood, stone, plaster, ceramic tiles), which must be prepared in advance. First of all, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the cement glue and oil, that is, from everything that we can “catch”.

Do not forget the floor with a regular vacuum cleaner to remove dust. After that, we put the primer "Vetonit Primer". What is this for? It's very simple! This will help cement the "network" grout with the substrate. It is necessary to try to apply the coating in a very thin layer, without wires and "pigs". It is best to use a spray gun, or if not, it will make a brush. If the surface is porous and dry, it must be filled twice.

Is it possible without dust?

As mentioned above, a primer coat improves the "cohesion" of the soil and the mixture. In addition, it does not allow the formation of air bubbles, which ensures the smoothness and stability of the soil.

It's time to talk about which mix is best to choose.

Vetonit 1000, 1500 Vetonit, Vetonit 4000, 3000 Vetonit, Vetonit 5000 and Vetonit Vaateri plus are used manually.

Each of them has its own characteristics, such as Vetonit 1000 is a quick drying mixture of fiberglass and additives used to restore wood, stone, concrete and, most importantly, weak floors.

Vetonit 1500 is a quick mix for concrete floors only. "Vetonit 3000" is the final EQ used for the final equalization. "Vetonit 4000" or "Vetonit 5000" is used if there are rather deep (more than 20 mm) cracks in the ground.

If the slot is larger than 50mm, use "Vetonit 6000". By the way, it is good to know that Vetonite will help solve this situation if the ears of the ears are very scary, since all the holes will be filled.

Now we need to mention a few words about Vetonite Vaateri Plus.

Veteran Vateri Plus is a self-levelling compound for leveling concrete floors exclusively.

Unlike other Vetonites, this type requires a special case, namely Vetonit Primer MD-16. The base should be sprinkled or shaken with a soft brush. Dissolve within 1-3 hours and 10 liters is enough for 100 m2. Please note that the use of Vetonit Vateri Plus is required immediately (immediately after dilution and one session).

Vetonite: material properties

To achieve the best result, it is best to use two people: one will cover the final mix and the other will prepare the next job.

All other "vetonites" should also be used very quickly (within 30 minutes of adding water).

The water is then evaporated and the mixture is dried.

Try not to add too much water. This is bad for soil strength.

"Vetonite Leveling" is a self-leveling compound that can be fused onto existing floors if you don't want to remove them for any reason.

Simply clean up soil contamination, seal and thin out holes, vacuum, fill with "Primer" and pour out mixture.

Please note that the width of the city, filled with "vetonite", should not exceed eight meters. Otherwise, it is necessary to install punctuation marks (special racks) and put Vetonit in pieces.

This ensures that the mixture will spread as smoothly as possible.

Well, the last - if the area of \u200b\u200bthe apartment is small, use Vetonit manually, with a steel spatula.

Description
Vetonit VH is a cementitious leveling compound for dry, damp and wet areas.

Also suitable for outdoor conditions. When mixed with water, a ready-to-use mixture is formed. The hardened mixture is resistant to moisture and negative temperatures. Colours: gray and white.

The foundation
Cement plasters and putties are suitable as a base, for example, Vetonit TT, Vetonit T, Vetonit V.

The surface must be clean, dry and free from dust. The base must be cleaned of substances that impair the adhesion of the mixture to the surface: from paint, grease, dust. Windows and other untreated surfaces must be protected.

Preparing the mixture
For mixing use only clean water at room temperature. Consumption 8 l / 25 kg. Mixing is done with a drill with a nozzle. During the first mixing leave a small amount of water from the total volume.

10 minutes after the first mixing of the mixture, add the remaining water and mix again. The time of use of the mixture is 4 hours from the moment of mixing. The temperature of the mixture must exceed +10°C.

Leveling in a small area
Dry and porous surfaces, if necessary, moisten before starting work. The finished mixture is applied to the surface manually using a spatula about 30 cm wide.

Large area leveling
On large areas, use a steel spatula with a width of 60-80 cm.

The remaining mixture from the spatula is removed for reuse. When applying the second layer, make sure that the previous layer has hardened (1-3 days). After drying, the layer must be treated with fine abrasive paper.

When operating in dry conditions, one day after application to the surface, the applied mixture must be moistened with water.

Surface finishing
The hardened surface can be painted with acrylic paint and wallpaper pasted on it. The surface leveled with Vetonit VH can be left unfinished (for example, to obtain a relief surface when applied with a spray gun).

Practical Tips
During work, the temperature of the substrate, mixture and air must exceed +5°C.

When added to water, when mixing, the Vetonit 1:10 dispersion improves the adhesion of the mixture to the base and increases wear resistance. This material is not suitable for painted surfaces, non-moisture resistant materials (Vetonit KR, L, LR+), floor leveling and weak substrates.

Security requirements
Avoid inhalation of dry mixture and contact with eyes.

Finishing putty on a polymer binder for walls and ceilings inside dry rooms.

Areas of use

Walls and ceilings inside dry rooms. Suitable substrates: all smooth surfaces made of mineral materials; surfaces leveled with putty Vetonit L, V, TT, TT Light or Perlite putty; plaster surfaces; plasterboard walls and ceilings (but not for grouting plasterboard boards).

It is also possible to spray ceilings made of other boards, such as particle boards or porous fibreboards.

Attention! The mixture is not waterproof. The material is not suitable for leveling floors, for grouting drywall boards, or for use as a base or adhesive mortar under tiles.

Specifications:

The substrate must be clean, solid and dust-free.

Substances that weaken adhesion such as grease, dust, etc. must be removed. Windows and other untreated surfaces must be carefully protected.

Attention! The base must be dry, no leaks and excessive moisture content in the structure is allowed, as this may cause discoloration of the leveled surface.

Mixing

A bag of dry mix (25 kg) is mixed with 8–9 liters of clean water.

Mixing is carried out with a powerful drill with a nozzle for 3–5 minutes. For better dissolution of the binder, the mixture is allowed to stand for about 10 minutes.

Vetonit 3000/5000 technical characteristics, mixture consumption

After slight re-mixing, the mixture is ready for use. The mortar mixture is suitable for use within about 2 days from the moment of mixing with water. Unused mortar mixture must not be left in mixing containers, hoses, etc.

equipment for more than 2 days (for example, on weekends).

Attention! Do not pour the mortar mixture into the sewer, so as not to clog the pipes.

Completing of the work

The mortar mixture is applied mechanically by spraying or manually using a steel spatula. For full leveling use a steel trowel 80 cm wide, for partial leveling a smaller steel trowel 30 cm wide. Excess mortar mixture is removed and reused. The ceiling after spraying putty can be left without further processing.

If leveling is performed in several layers, it is necessary each time to make sure that the previous layer is completely dry (within 1 day). The dried surface is sanded with fine sanding paper after each layer.

Tool cleaning

The working tools and equipment are washed with water immediately after work is completed.

Surface Finishing and Additional Recommendations

The leveled and dried surface can be painted or wallpapered according to the wallpaper or paint manufacturer's instructions.

If dirty spots appear, the surface can be carefully wiped with a damp sponge or piece of cloth.

If the stains do not go away, the surface can be re-covered with putty.

Helpful Hints

To improve adhesion to painted surfaces and to improve the wear resistance of the material, 10% mixing water can be replaced with Vetonit Dispersion (approx. 0.8–0.9 l of dispersion/25 kg of dry mix).

Before starting the leveling work, it is necessary to make sure that the adhesion of the old paint to the substrate is good.

Packaging and storage

Putty Vetonit LR Plus is supplied in 25 and 5 kg bags.

Shelf life in a dry place in closed packages is approx. 12 months from date of manufacture.

Align the ceiling with the Vetonite mortar with a wide spatula

The ceiling is installed in a rough way in cases where the difference in level does not exceed 5 cm.

For example, to remove blockage of seams, cracks and holes in the ceiling. Rough ceiling leveling is suitable for compensating for differences between slabs (a common problem in modern buildings).

Preparing the ceiling for leveling

The furniture in the room is covered with construction film or removed from the room. Also on the floor you need to build a construction film, which will further reduce the amount of cleaning.

Cleaning the ceiling surface

Then the most important trick: a spatula with a rounded shaft, so it cuts like a knife.

This tool will do the main job. We do not take too wide blades,

Technical characteristics of Vetonit plaster

because the pressure will spread over a larger area, so we will have to work harder.

Then tear off a layer of plaster, paint, old whiteness onto a concrete slab. This work is tedious and difficult, but necessary. In particular, the seam and the seams with the walls must be thoroughly cleaned.

ceiling covering

The spatula periodically sharpens, at least it should be at hand. Rinse the remaining white color with warm water and mushrooms.

The water is constantly changing, otherwise the lime is mixed on the ceiling. When the ceiling is completely dry, it is treated with a roller or brush coated for substances that are poorly absorbed (for example, "contact with concrete").

For example, it is desirable to use the same brand as the gypsum mixture that will be further upgraded to the ceiling. Particular attention is paid to the corners and seams - this is impossible without a brush, and the rest - with a roller. When the soil is dry, start straightening the ceiling.

Getting a solution

To make a decision, we prepare a decision.

To do this, we use a mixture of Rotbands from Knauf. Before use, carefully follow the instructions on the package - dissolve the solution in cold water and mix thoroughly after 5 minutes. after mixing, otherwise the solution is dried directly on the spatula. The mixture dries quickly, so it should not be mixed quite a lot. Compared to the wall, leveling the ceiling is much more difficult, and the solution cannot be used immediately in large quantities, the rest after 25 ... 30 minutes.

it will need to be discarded as a frozen monolith. It is better to mix 3 - 5 kg in a plastic basin.

Use a ceiling solution

Apply the solution to the ironing knife with a small spatula, place it on one side. We don't apply solutions around the edges because they will bulge and flow. Further ironing with the solution is applied to the ceiling and stretched along with slight pressure, as if the solution is sprayed onto the ceiling.

Ceiling Solution Application Technology

The ceiling is leveled in several layers, so do not try to fill in all the deep irregularities - make the layer as thick as it is usually held (no more than 1.5 ... 2 cm). Also, don't try to use solutions to create bubbles and stitches - this is a very difficult and time consuming task.

All this will be the same as the next layer, but for starters, the main thing is to eliminate large inequalities.

Use a second coat on the ceiling

The decision is very fast, so we can finish, in the place where we started, we can continue to work.

We cut the seams again with a spatula, don't worry about uniformity. Rolls or even rails are used to detect feces and stitches. The walls and seams are immediately disabled immediately. Then wait for the layer to dry and take on the second layer. We use it in much the same way as the first one.

How to use the third layer

Then the last layer appeared (three layers appeared, but with minor irregularities, less, in general, more), minor irregularities, seams, bubbles,

etc. The back layer takes longer to make and is used with a medium or wide spatula. The seams remain on their own - they are easier to remove after sanding with sandpaper. When using the last coat, wait until it is completely dry after the seams and irregularities have been cleaned with coarse abrasive paper. Clean the powder ceiling with a brush or damp cloth covered with soil (dissolve the solution and fill it with a spray gun).

Ceiling leveling materials:

  • Concrete contact on the ground;
  • The mixture contains Rotband;
  • End of whales Vetonit LR +

Tools for work:

  • Pumps: 5 ... 10 cm, 15 cm, 70 cm;
  • Metal reefs;
  • Take a nozzle for mixing the solution;
  • abrasive paper;
  • Construction foam

Ceiling finish

To do this, use a thin filler Vetonit LR +.

Without fear, immediately mix the solution in large quantities (duration 2 days)

Place the putty on the ceiling with a wide trowel. A small spatula to insert the spatula (again not put on the edge, i.e. K. Stechet) is then applied to the ceiling, in the cut and shaken in the same way as a mixture of plaster.

In addition to cartridges for chandeliers, radiators, corners and other hard-to-reach places, we use a small or medium-sized spatula.

With a very small boule (less than 1 mm) and without a single layer, in some cases it can be empty and two layers: the first coordinated relatively large errors, and the other already brings the ideal condition.

When the seams for each dried layer are cleaned with sanding paper.
