Creating 3D Reliefs

Now the CNC operators have to work hard, compiling a program for embossing on MDF boards. They will need to do everything to convey the designer's intention as much as possible: calculate the depth of material processing, take into account all the nuances of the sketch and calculate that the pattern matches at the junctions of future panels. After a thorough check of the settings of the 5-axis machines, the slab processing begins. The thickness of the used MDF boards depends on the depth of the relief and can be 10, 18 or 30 mm.

But no matter how precise the equipment is, the quality of each panel is assessed visually, and then the relief is manually refined to perfection. Skilful hands of grinders will not miss a single crack, not a single notch. Such control was introduced for a reason: it is it that allows in the future to ensure the perfect coating of the product with finishing materials - veneer, PVC film or enamels.

Wall panel finishing

Finishing is given special attention. Only the best materials are used for it: Italian-made paints and enamels, fine wood veneers - with their unique colors and textures.

Painting in 3-4 layers is carried out in modern industrial chambers, which provide the most even and durable coating that can last for many years.

When creating panels to order, the decorative coating is partially applied by hand. This applies, for example, to products with a fluorescent effect. Thin lines in the recesses or on the ridges of the relief can only be drawn with a brush, and the craftsmen make every effort to achieve the effect the customer wants.

Four coating options are available for painted panels: matt enamel, glossy enamel, special effects coating (gold, metallic, mother-of-pearl) and designer effects.

Veneer facing of panels consists of 7-12 layers, on top of which 3-4 layers of matt varnish are applied. Such a coating has a high resistance to mechanical stress and environmental influences. For facing LETO offers 11 types of natural veneer: wenge, oak, beech, walnut, ebony, mahogany root, ebony root, wavona root, Canadian walnut, bleached oak, zebrano.

PVC film coating is carried out both on the plane and on the ends of the panel. For cladding, a film 0.35 mm thick is used, represented by 15 types of decor.

And the protection of the back side of all types of panels is carried out by applying a compensation coating on them.

Installation of wall panels

And, finally, what is needed for mounting LETO panels on walls and partitions. The company offers two ways to fasten its products, and each of them has been repeatedly tested in practice.

The LETO profile is perfect for fixing panels to walls made of concrete, brick or wood. You can also add surfaces leveled with drywall here. The profile allows you to level small wall slopes, and then quickly install panels and align models with deep relief - due to the strong tension of the finish and relief, they may slightly bend. This mounting method creates a gap of 35 mm between the panel and the wall. In the future, the gap is closed with extensions in the color of the panel.

The second option for mounting wall panels involves the use of mounting plates and corners. It provides quick installation of products without the gap described above, however, it can only be used on absolutely straight walls. To create an aesthetic appearance of the finished finish, the first and last panels are closed with extensions.

• for glue to drywall (blocks no more than 800x800 mm)
• on aluminum rails (any block size)
• to concrete / brick walls on dowels. In this option, leave at the edges

PACKAGE

The release of large-sized panels from the factory takes place in individual cardboard boxes wrapped with a protective film to prevent chips and damage during transportation. Smaller block sizes are packaged as a batch, in a common box. During transportation, products must be carefully loaded, avoiding shocks, friction, heavy loads should not be placed on top of the panels, because. this may damage the edges and surface of the panels.
