What to wear with a thin tie?
Thin, or narrow tie, or "herring", choose for:
- a business suit that fits you well without bags or gaps
- light summer shirt with long or short sleeves for the office, dressed under trousers
- blazer
- vests other than denim
- jumpers
- informal party and / or corporate party
Avoid wearing it under jeans and sports shoes.
