Kitchen-dining room: layout features, and competent zoning (100 photos of design ideas). Kitchen-dining room: planning features, and competent zoning (100 photos of design ideas) Kitchen and recreation area

Our family is almost three years old, and it consists of three people. When we got our own apartment, first of all we took up the planning of the kitchen, because, as it seems to us, it is she who is the main place in the house.

We started our project traditionally - by viewing something already created by someone. Having studied many articles, samples, examples of kitchens, including the first My Kitchen contest, we decided: we want a snow-white kitchen with a light wood countertop.

First, we “drawn” the arrangement of furniture in a 3D program. This helped us to see our dream in reality and correctly place the headset, place sockets, switches, lamps, and also choose finishing materials, choose their color.

The kitchen itself was decided to be divided into 2 zones - cooking and rest. Many will agree that for a one-room apartment an additional recreation area will never be superfluous.

To make zoning clearer and more logical, we used:

1) additional chipboard wall between two zones;

2) ceiling configuration.

In order to highlight the recreation area more clearly, false beams were placed under the tree, made of a ventilation duct painted with wood stain. They came out like real ones.

Kitchen - with white plastic facades and a "light thuja" worktop, height - 91 cm. Its continuation performs 2 roles: a dining table and a work surface for cooking.

This part of the room is given a cheerful touch by a tempered glass apron with a picture of green grass. Caring for facades, countertops and apron is not difficult.

When planning the interior of the kitchen, we tried to make it not only cozy, but also comfortable, so we paid attention to every detail so that everything was in its place and at hand. Very successful in this regard turned out, for example, the distance from the dining area to the sink (only 1 meter).

By the way, the Franke sink is very spacious. We have it with the function of blocking the drain (this is very convenient for rinsing and washing dishes). It has an additional faucet for drinking water after the filters. The water in our village is simply terrible, and the installation of filters has greatly facilitated and improved life.

Since we prefer food cooked in the oven or slow cooker, we decided to limit ourselves to the Beko hob with two burners. The panel was placed with the long side along the wall - this is how additional space appeared. Our oven is from Bosch.

A set of small household appliances is quite standard: a food processor, a kettle, a slow cooker, a coffee maker. All this is placed on the work surface.

We have a built-in refrigerator, domestic production.

There are no handles on the upper and lower fronts of the cabinets due to the fact that the upper fronts protrude 3 cm below the cabinets, while the lower fronts are mounted in combination with the L-profile. This profile was recommended to us by the company when placing an order for a headset. Its advantages are that it is hardly noticeable, unlike the profile, which is mounted on the door itself. Opening the lower doors is quite convenient.

But, unfortunately, there were no handles on the doors of the tandem refrigerator-freezer. All doors are hinged, with closers, drawers in bedside tables are also with closers.

I would like to give a few words to one "homemade" in our kitchen - a stool with a trash can. The standard location of the bin under the sink did not suit our family, and the industry does not offer similar options, so we developed our own project of a retractable waste bin from a stool. Instead of a wastebasket, there is a container for sachets on the door under the sink, and there is still a lot of space.

Ceiling above the cooking area - stretch, white gloss. The walls are covered with liquid wallpaper. The floor in the kitchen is made of laminate under light wood. The color matches the table top perfectly!

Classic wooden bar stools perfectly complement the set.

As for the recreation area, first of all I would like to say that we are very pleased with the fact that it was provided: thanks to this, our family spends more time together.

We wanted to see a “relaxation” zone in the loft style, which we tried to create with the help of a “brick” TV wall, photo wallpapers, beams on the ceiling. In addition to this, they repainted the battery in silver and bought a metal board for magnets - do not throw away the memory of the rest. They glued the bricks themselves.

Photo wallpapers from one of the streets of old Vilnius were made to order for us. By the way, you can watch TV from anywhere in the kitchen thanks to the swivel bracket.

The choice of sofas that would suit us in style and size, unfortunately, was small, but we managed to find a company store where you can change the factory configuration of the sofa: its length, width of the armrests, color, material, etc. As a result, the sofa was made to order for us at an affordable price. It unfolds, and it turns out a full-fledged sleeping place, which can be used for guests. In addition, it has a storage compartment.

We paid great attention to light. In the kitchen we have four types of light. The main light for the kitchen area is a do-it-yourself chandelier above the dining table made from a tea set. We, of course, spied on the idea in one of the construction hypermarkets, but it did not cost proletarian money at all, so we had to resort to ingenuity. To illuminate the facades, spotlights built into the box were used; this light can be turned on for cooking and as an independent one.

In the recreation area, the main light is a spot chandelier. There is also decorative lighting from two spotlights to accentuate the "brick" wall.

The decoration of the room, except for the ceilings, was done by ourselves.

Thus, the main part of the repair and improvement of the kitchen is completed. Now we are working on the decor. On the white wall opposite the kitchen area, we plan to make a panel of photographs. But since we still have a young family and there are not very many important events yet, we decided to just hang frames in which we will place the most memorable photos. We will also add a minimum amount of greenery and decor on the windows. We also plan to purchase a chest of drawers for a TV, until we find a suitable option. Will have to order.

Here is our small, but very functional, cozy and already beloved kitchen.

Today it has become very fashionable to combine the kitchen with the living room. But how to do it correctly, so that in the end you get a cozy atmosphere, we will analyze in our article.

Advantages and disadvantages

Undoubtedly, in such a layout there are more advantages than disadvantages.

That is why we first determine the advantages of combining the kitchen with the living room:

  • Significantly increases the space. With this layout, you can easily seat a large group of guests at one dining table.
  • The hostess is given a unique opportunity cook food in the kitchens at the same time and still communicate with your guests.
  • Possibility to select three zones, each of which will clearly perform its functions, but at the same time there will be contact between all people: the kitchen is the place where food is cooked, the dining room is where everyone gathers at the table and the living room is where the recreation and leisure area is located.
  • Savings on the number of TVs. If the kitchen and living room were separated by an ordinary wall, then there is a need to install a TV in every room. When combining these rooms, it will be enough to install one large TV in the living room.

Of course, with all the obvious advantages of such a layout, one cannot fail to note significant disadvantages:

  • Odors from during the cooking process will diverge throughout space.
  • Also good even slight noises from the working equipment will be heard. This may cause discomfort to guests.

Separating the kitchen from the living room

Most often, such a layout is resorted to for two reasons:

1. If the apartment is still Soviet times, then very often the kitchen there is no more than five or six square meters. To expand the space and make it more comfortable, apartment owners combine a tiny kitchen with an adjoining room. The result is a stylish kitchen-living room.

2. Studio apartments are increasingly appearing in new buildings. Quite a budget option for those who want to purchase and live in their own square meters.

Then the kitchen and the room itself are separated from each other either by sliding doors or by a bar counter. Or there is a zoning of the room with the help of different ceiling heights, different floor coverings or the presence of a podium.

Let's analyze the most popular methods of zoning the kitchen and living room.

bar counter

Probably the most successful and therefore such a popular way to separate two adjacent rooms is to have a bar counter in the place where a wall could be.

Such a division does not "weight" the space. This method is also relevant in a situation where the owner of the apartment wants to combine the kitchen and living room, but it is not possible to completely remove the wall for various reasons.

All that is needed is just to leave the bottom of the wall and convert it into a bar counter. Such a technique, in addition to its originality, is also quite functional.

So, for example, a bar counter can be equipped with an additional working area. Or use as a dining table or a place where you can have a quick bite.

The bar counter can be made of various materials. As a rule, the countertop is made from the same material as the kitchen work surface: natural stone, laminated chipboard, marble or stone.

The base of the bar counter can also be varied: brick, stone, metal pipes, wood. If the kitchen itself is small, then under the bar you can make a niche for storing dishes or other kitchen utensils.

Partition

Another popular way to separate the kitchen from the living room is a partition. Conventionally, it can perform the following functions: planning or decorative.

In the first case, the partition serves as a method of successful zoning of the room. In the second case, the partition carries more aesthetic aspects, most often as a decor.

Furniture, shelving, a sofa, sliding partitions, screens, glass blocks can serve as partitions. At the same time, shelving can also serve as a storage function, and not just be a way to separate the kitchen and living room.

The screens are light in design and can be moved if necessary. Glass block structures amaze with their beauty, especially in daylight.

They can also serve as additional sound insulation. But because of their massiveness, they may not be appropriate in a small one-room apartment with a small kitchen.

Multi-level ceilings

An original solution may be to use a multi-level ceiling. At the same time, it is very important to determine the shape and design before installing it.

You can play with contrasts and make, for example, a simple ceiling in soothing colors in the kitchen, while in the living room it is colored. Or vice versa, install a suspended bright ceiling in the kitchen.

So there will be a small island that will stand out in an original way. Also used are two-level stretch ceilings or plasterboard.

Flooring as a way of zoning

If you do not want to mess with the ceiling, then apply a different floor covering. In the kitchen, it is best to lay tiles. It is very comfortable and easy to wash. At the same time, the modern design allows you to beat the floor beautifully.

In the living room it is better to lay a laminate, carpet or parquet. The floor in this part of the room does not require frequent wet cleaning, so these floor materials will serve you for a long time. Here, much depends on the financial capabilities of the owner of the apartment.

You can also use the same flooring in the kitchen and in the living room, but in different colors.

Don't get too carried away with contrasts. It is best to give preference to similar colors and motifs. You can also highlight the kitchen area with a podium.

Wallpaper

Wallpaper as a subject of zoning is also very popular. In addition, they are easier to change to something newer and more modern. Indeed, in the case of a floor or ceiling, the replacement can be delayed for a long time, plus, it will require significant financial costs.

Since in a modern kitchen wallpaper can only be found near the entrance, window, or along the opposite wall where the dining table is located, if combined with the living room, the cost of their purchase is reduced even more.

After all, there is no wall that would separate the room from the kitchen. Therefore, for the kitchen, you can choose calm colors of the wallpaper than the dining room. Choose wallpaper should be the same color, but only different shades.

When combining a living room with a kitchen, wallpaper can highlight a dining area or a place to relax by the TV.

Color zoning

Color zoning would be a great idea. The room is immediately visually divided into a place for cooking and a place for lunch and rest. With this method, you can play with contrasts. For example, red kitchen, white living room. Or combine two close shades in color.

Sofa

A good solution would be to separate the kitchen with a sofa. It is located on the back side of the kitchen. In this way, a line is visually drawn between two rooms. If you have a bar counter, then place the sofa immediately behind it.

Kitchen living room in a private house

Living in your own home, of course, has its advantages and disadvantages. One of the important aspects is the ability to create a plan during the construction of the house, in which the kitchen and living room will immediately represent one large space. At the same time, if square meters allow, you can also allocate space for a dining room.

The house uses all the same methods of separating the kitchen from the living room as in the apartment. As for color, it is worth starting from what the house is made of. If it is a brick, then the color scheme is varied. Such a house requires finishing, in which different materials can be used.

But for a wooden house, it is best to choose warm colors in Provence or country style. Homely comfortable atmosphere is provided for you.

Design options for a small living room kitchen

If you have a small space allocated for the kitchen-living room, then there are not so many layout options. At the same time, it is very important to maintain the functionality and comfort of the room.

An excellent option for zoning would be a small dining table in the place where the kitchen area conventionally ends.

You can put an arch on the border of the kitchen with the living room. This element will not weigh down the room, thereby preserving the very concept of increasing space by combining the kitchen with the living room.

As you can see, there are many ways to combine the kitchen with the living room. At the same time, a certain goal is achieved - to increase the entire space and make it cozy and comfortable both for cooking, and for receiving guests or relaxing. To complete the picture, look at the photos of real interiors where the kitchens and living rooms are already decorated in all their glory.

The design of the kitchen with a sofa is a good idea for a spacious room. After all, this will add a special chic, make the kitchen more functional, as it will add another area - the dining area. With the location of a soft sofa in the kitchen, it will become convenient not only to eat, but also to have guests, arrange holidays, set the table. All guests will be able to accommodate without compromising free space and themselves.

Upholstered furniture in the kitchen is comfortable, functional and cozy.

Modern manufacturers offer a huge number of models from which you can choose a practical and stylish sofa.

Before you understand what are the disadvantages and advantages of the sofas located in the kitchen space, it is necessary to consider all the models and forms of sofas available for sale.

The main thing is that the dimensions correspond to the area of \u200b\u200bthe room, and the style of the furniture fits the interior.

Design Advantages disadvantages
Straight Convenience Most often, the kitchen set is sold as a set, and not separately.
Functionality
Wide range of colors and textures A sofa of this design takes up a lot of space, so it is only suitable for large kitchens.
Can be placed anywhere
Angular Suitable for small kitchens Kitchen furniture has a solid back and seat:

To maintain posture while eating;

The sofa is not suitable for relaxing.

Helps create a dining area
Large selection of products, different materials and shades The cost of a kitchen set is high, as it has a high-quality and wear-resistant filler to withstand various loads.
Many models have additional storage boxes, shelves and compartments.

They create storage spaces:

utensils;

preservations.

Folding Functionality (it will help to accommodate as many guests as possible in the apartment) You can place such a set only in a large kitchen, where there is enough space for a sofa bed.

The cost of this product will be an order of magnitude higher than products of other designs.

Ergonomics (there are places to place things and kitchen utensils)
Compact (takes up little space when assembled)
Conveniences (it is more convenient to receive guests, celebrate holidays on a soft sofa with a back)
Large assortment (there is an option for a kitchen of any style)

An important role is played by the color scheme and material.

Where to install the sofa?

You can choose a place for arranging the sofa only after installing the stove, sink, refrigerator, cabinets, shelves and other kitchen appliances. However, its placement is an important component of creating a kitchen interior with a sofa.

The tone should match the color of the walls, furniture, or vice versa contrast with them.

Criteria on which the installation location of the sofa depends:

  • The shape and size of the room;
  • The size and number of windows and doorways;
  • Choosing the layout of the kitchen set for work;
  • The number of functional areas (the design of the kitchen is also taken into account - combined or separate from the living room);
  • The size and design of the product itself;
  • Options, the presence of a group for the dining area.

A gray or black sofa fits perfectly into a large white kitchen.

The frame of the sofa should be waterproof, and dirt and greasy stains should be easily wiped off the upholstery.

Arrangement methods

How to decorate a sofa area

The way the area near the sofa will look like needs to be thought out in advance. After all, it will create a cozy atmosphere in the room and refresh the interior of the room. The most successful option is pasting the recreation area with photo wallpapers.

Experiment carefully with bright colors in the kitchen.

With the use of photo wallpaper, the kitchen will become fresher, brighter and more cheerful. The pattern on the wallpaper can be anything:

  • abstract;
  • landscape;
  • Using geometric shapes;
  • Plant or animal ornament.

Harmonious combination of colors in the kitchen.

If the square meters of the room allow, then the recreation area can be decorated with artificial stone. This will give the kitchen sophistication, make it more chic.

In such a kitchen it will be convenient to receive guests and comfortably relax while eating.

Also, some accents in the recreation area will make a cozy kitchen, for example, paintings or photos of the family on the wall, original lamps, flowers in vases, small pillows in the corners of the sofa, bright curtains or vice versa curtains in soothing colors.

A kitchen with a sofa can be a suitable solution for anyone who is looking for an option to make the best use of limited space.

Important! It should be remembered that all selected accessories should match the style of the kitchen in order to complement the interior, and not overload it.

seating area by the window

Installing a soft sofa, and, consequently, a seating area by the window, is an interesting option. However, it is not suitable for everyone, usually the windows in the kitchen are located in the middle of the wall. This means that the seating area will be located right in the center of the room, which is not particularly convenient if the kitchen is not gigantic in size, and the work surface is at hand. Therefore, this option is only suitable for spacious rooms.

Fashionable kitchen design does not have to be expensive or consist of a large number of items and decor elements.

Ideas and interesting interiors, and sometimes just individual elements, given here, will help you find the only solution that fits in all respects.

An interesting idea for such an accommodation would be to combine the kitchen with the loggia and move the recreation area there. Such a decision will definitely make the kitchen spacious, and most importantly, interesting for many who come to visit.

Modern beautiful furniture can be inexpensive and durable for a long time.

Placing a sofa in a small or medium kitchen

Before drafting a kitchen design with a sofa in a small area, it is important to think through everything to the smallest detail. It is important to remember that a small kitchen is not a sentence for using a soft headset.

The sofa with drawers below is a functional addition to an economical solution in every respect.

The most original and interesting kitchen design is possible if there is a sufficiently large space.

In such a room, compact sofas of the "bench" model, or corner sofas without a transformation function, will fit perfectly. However, even in such small products there are places to store kitchen utensils or other trinkets.

If the space is small, then a sofa with drawers can be placed near the window, so that it is convenient to admire the picturesque landscape.

The color scheme when choosing a product for a small room will be light shades: white, beige, cream or gray. So the emphasis will not fall on the sofa, and thereby distract from the general perception of the entire interior of the entire kitchen.

The color palette can include all shades of white and black.

Sofa design in the kitchen

One of the main criteria when choosing furniture will be not only the model and type of construction, but also the color, texture solution of the headset. Even the furniture in the kitchen can visually increase or decrease the space.

Interesting ideas arise not only in the largest areas, but rather at the intersection of technologies and contrasting presentations of the visible part of the interior.

Important! The upholstery of the sofa should be in harmony with the kitchen set. This means that colorful upholstery with patterns can make the interior heavier.

To give your own imagination more freedom, you need to move away from the traditional understanding of the word “sofa” and its role in the kitchen: the main thing is convenience and harmonious combination with all other interior details.

Summer house projects

Number of projects 164

One of the main advantages of living in a country house is the opportunity to spend a lot of time in the yard. In the warm season, even the cooking process is transferred from home to the summer kitchen. The best option is a summer kitchen with a barbecue, which, in addition to the usual dishes, allows you to cook meat and vegetables over an open fire. In this article we will talk about what summer kitchens are like, how barbecue equipment can be installed in them, what they can be in design and layout.

What are summer kitchens

The buildings in which the kitchens are equipped are divided into many types according to the design, the building material used, the style, and the layout. According to the type of construction, they are open and closed.

closed kitchen

The structure of the closed type has walls with windows, a floor and a roof. In most cases, they are built from ordinary wall materials on a lightweight foundation. These buildings can be used in any weather. In addition, they can be equipped with a heating system and used all year round. Kitchen equipment and furniture for the dining area can be chosen without any restrictions, since being located in a closed room, all this will not suffer from precipitation or temperature changes.

A closed kitchen is also more convenient because you can hide in it from annoying insects, as well as from the heat, if you install air conditioning. In addition, it can, if necessary, be used as a guest house.

Closed kitchens also have their drawbacks. First, they take more materials to build, and the materials themselves must be more expensive. Secondly, it is necessary to build such structures on the basis of a professional, carefully designed project. At the same time, the construction process is quite laborious and costly for the owners.

On our site you can find contacts of construction companies providing services for the design of small architectural forms: gazebos, grill houses, etc.

open kitchen

Such kitchens are built according to the principle of terraces or gazebos with a canopy. They are a platform concreted or lined with paving material, along the perimeter of which support beams are installed that hold the canopy structure.

Semi-open buildings are those that have one, two or three walls. The summer barbecue kitchen can be built from any material for supports and roofing. Often such buildings are supplemented with light fences made of wood or metal.

An open building is constructed according to simple drawings, can be built very quickly, and with minimal material costs. This is a platform for placing a recreation area, part of which is reserved for the installation of kitchen equipment. But it is not protected from bad weather and insects, it cannot be used in winter, it requires the installation of special equipment designed for outdoor work.

On our site you can find contacts of construction companies that offer services for the construction of small architectural forms: gazebos, grill houses, etc. You can directly communicate with representatives by visiting the exhibition of houses "Low-Rise Country".

Material

A closed summer kitchen can be built from materials used for the construction of residential buildings. It can be brick, cellular concrete, stone, frame construction, profiled timber, etc. Wide glazing is usually used. A foundation is installed under the building, corresponding to the technology of using the selected material. In some cases, kitchens are built simply on a concrete screed. A building without a foundation will last less, but its construction will cost much less.

An open kitchen can be built using the same materials as a closed one. Wall materials are needed for arranging the support system, erecting partial walls and decorative design. There are many ways to equip an open area. The main load that such a structure bears is the weight of the roof. Therefore, there is no special need for the construction of the foundation.

When using a wooden covering, the level of the site is often raised above ground level. This is to ensure that the flooring always remains dry and lasts as long as possible. A summer kitchen project with a barbecue may involve a low podium or several steps.

layout

The usual layout of the summer kitchen is no different from the kitchen-dining room designed in the cottage. Part of it is allocated for the working area and is equipped with a sink, stove, brazier. Sometimes, instead of a regular kitchen, a barbecue area is planned and only equipment for cooking on an open fire is installed. The remaining space is occupied by a dining table, chairs, benches, armchairs and other leisure furniture.

Recently, more and more summer kitchens are being built combined with other buildings. This is done to save space on the site. So, a bathhouse, storage for garden tools, a guest house, or something else acts as an extension.

Location

The summer kitchen can be freestanding or attached to the house. The extension is convenient in that it is easier to connect it to communication systems. It is a continuation of the house, increasing its area. In addition, it well complements the exterior of the cottage, decorates it and makes it more attractive.

Freestanding kitchens also have their advantages. They do not block the premises of the house from sunlight, decorate the recreation area on the site, and can have any shape, regardless of the configuration of the house. In addition, if the kitchen is built away from the house, you don’t have to worry that the smells of cooking food will penetrate into the living rooms.

Style

The style of the summer kitchen should be subordinated to the general style of the house and the site. This applies not only to the building itself, but also to its internal content. Even in a closed building, the design of its interior is of great importance. And for an outdoor barbecue kitchen, in which all the details are visible, you need to select furniture and equipment with even greater care.

If the house is built in a restrained classical style, the kitchen can be more original in design, made of any material and in any style. But the contrasting appearance of the building must be supported by the landscape of the site.

Near a house made of logs or timber, a wooden gazebo or terrace will look perfect. Since wood is a very expressive material, it is better to build a kitchen in the same style as the house. Otherwise, the harmony of landscape design will be violated.

If the house is built in a modern minimalist style, the kitchen in the form of a log house will look out of place next to it. But the building of the correct rectangular shape with a flat roof with wooden flooring and pergolas as fences will fit perfectly.

BBQ oven

Barbecue ovens installed directly in the open air, under a canopy or in a summer kitchen are becoming increasingly popular. This is due to the great advantages of such equipment:

    everyone loves food cooked on fire;

    it is more useful than foods cooked on a conventional stove;

    the process of cooking with a barbecue is quite exciting;

    for a fire in a barbecue oven, you can use old sawn trees, which eliminates the need to take them out of the site;

    with regular use of natural fire stoves, you can save on gas or electricity for a conventional stove.

Barbecue is primarily a cooking method that uses a grate placed over a fire. Barbecue equipment can be different - from a portable metal structure to an industrial stationary unit.

Options for gazebos with barbecue

Often, stoves in summer kitchens are designed to install a barbecue. A brazier differs from a barbecue in that it cooks meat and vegetables planted on a skewer. In this sense, a barbecue is more versatile, since food of almost any consistency and any size can be placed on the grate.

There are multifunctional devices that combine elements such as an oven, oven, barbecue, tandoor, cauldron. On top of this whole structure, there can be ordinary burners powered by gas, electricity, or according to the principle of a rustic coal stove.

Video description

Construction of a stove with a barbecue and a cauldron

The simplest stove is a hearth made of bricks, over which there are special sides. They are needed so that you can put a grill or skewers. This kind of design can be increased over time by adding other modules with additional elements - a cutting table, an oven, a sink, a smokehouse, a woodshed. If there is enough space in the kitchen, but there is no money to install all the compartments at once, you can build a brick barbecue oven and barbecue, and add the remaining modules as far as possible.

A metal brazier can be made specifically for a specific oven. But often, when arranging a stove structure, ready-made barbecues or barbecues are used, which are simply installed in prepared niches.

In a closed or semi-closed kitchen, a chimney or hood must be built above the stove. The design of the furnace itself must stand on a concrete or stone base. If the gazebo is built of wood, the stove must be isolated from the wooden elements with stone or brick.

Most often, barbecue ovens are built of brick. This material is unpretentious and easy to use. From it, you can lay out structures of various shapes, different in design, with all kinds of additional modules, as well as shelves and stands for dishes and kitchen utensils. But brick is not the only material for building stoves. Some craftsmen use rubble stone or cobblestone for this purpose. Sometimes furnaces are built from monolithic concrete with subsequent lining.

The minimum oven size is 70 cm high and 90 cm wide. This means that a summer kitchen with a brick barbecue does not have to be large. But it is better to immediately build it more spacious, since during the operation of the furnace ideas often arise to expand its functionality.

In some cases, homeowners build outdoor barbecue ovens first to occasionally use them for picnics. But then, having felt all the advantages of such a stove, they grow it to the level of a full-fledged kitchen, and only after that they build a gazebo or an enclosed space around it.

The oven can be angled or straight. In style and design, it should match the design of the kitchen and the entire area as a whole. Despite the fact that the brazier stove is most associated with rustic style, designers today create very beautiful modern stoves.

Options for projects of summer kitchens with a barbecue

Summer kitchens are very diverse in layout and design. Some homeowners prefer small, lightweight gazebos, while others prefer sheds or terraces. Some build entire complexes, including several functional structures.

Gazebo Kitchen with Barbecue

We invite you to familiarize yourself with the offer from the partner of the exhibition of houses "Low-Rise Country" - the company "Garden Barbecues", for the construction of gazebos with a stove complex, a barbecue and a barbecue.

Kitchen with sauna and terrace

On a small plot, it is possible to fit, in addition to the house and the garage, several additional buildings if they are combined. This option is shown in the image below. Here, a closed kitchen is combined with a bath complex and a terrace. Such projects of summer kitchens with a barbecue and an oven allow you to create very comfortable multifunctional recreation areas.

When combining a kitchen and a bath, work on summing up communications is facilitated and cheaper. It is easier to connect one object on the site to the water supply system and sewerage than 2 or 3. This layout option eliminates the need to provide the kitchen with a separate bathroom - you can use the one located in the bath complex.

Multifunctional buildings are absolutely autonomous. They can be built quite far from the main residential building. And one more advantage - the bath complex can be designed without a rest room, as this role will be played by the kitchen and the terrace.

Simple square kitchen

In summer cottages for seasonal recreation, summer kitchens are usually built that are the simplest in design and construction. So, in the following example, we can consider a variant with elementary zoning. The layout provides for wide glazing on three sides.

Such a kitchen can be either freestanding or attached. In the second case, it will adjoin the house with a facade in which there are no windows. A bathhouse, a garage, a barn or any other building can be attached to the same facade.

Kitchen gazebo

The easiest option to equip a summer place for barbecue is to build a wooden gazebo and equip it with a stove with a chimney. Arbors with a summer kitchen and a barbecue, whose projects are quite diverse, look great in any landscape design. This example shows a hexagonal structure made of stone and wood.

A compact gazebo will take up a minimum of space on the site. However, it can easily accommodate a dining table and chairs or benches. A barbecue oven with a chimney will allow you to cook dishes on a fire right in the gazebo. Next to the stove, even the installation of a compact sink is provided.

Conclusion

A kitchen with a barbecue oven can turn an ordinary cottage or country house into an ideal place for family holidays and receiving guests. It expands the possibilities of private households and simplifies the process of daily cooking. In addition, a well-designed building can adequately decorate the site, make it more solid and attractive in design.
