Kiturami Equipment Instructions. High efficiency and simple structure - this is the Kiturami diesel boiler Kiturami boiler connection of the security group

Even at the heating design stage in the house, one has to operate with the generalized technical characteristics of the boiler, but in the end it is still necessary to go to the store and choose a very specific model from the huge range on the market.

It will be useful to find out in more detail what the Kiturami diesel boiler is, what models are in the line, and how they can be better than other offers on the market.

Features of Kiturami boilers

Kiturami is a South Korean company with more than half a century of experience in the design and manufacture of heating boilers and related equipment.

During this time, the company has become one of the leaders in the domestic Korean market, and has also found an extensive market in North America and nearby Asian countries. In our country, Kiturami boilers have been officially distributed for at least ten years and have already shown themselves on the good side.

The main emphasis in the promotion of boilers is on the introduction of innovative technologies and, in particular, their own developments, which have no analogues from other manufacturers or determine the narrow specifics of the equipment.

Diesel boilers, by definition, are not considered as the main model range for a wide range of applications. In terms of economic feasibility, they are inferior to gas, electric and even solid-state boilers. However, they are still in demand among consumers in view of a number of reasons why liquid fuels are becoming preferable.

In remote areas of residence, where there is no stable connection to the power grid, there is no gasification, the issue of fuel availability becomes acute. At the same time, the heating of the house should, by definition, work smoothly throughout the season. If for many countries such situations are rather an exception to the rule, then for us, on the contrary, they are commonplace, the cause of which is the vast expanses separating settlements.

Diesel fuel, unlike gas, is easier to transport and store with minimal risks to life and the environment. Unlike solid fuel boilers, when burned, diesel fuel provides uniform heating and a greater degree of control over the waste of resources. And finally, the design of the diesel boiler and in particular the burner does not limit the use of other heat sources.

With minimal modifications, the diesel burner can be replaced for the use of blue fuel, and boilers equipped with an extensive combustion chamber and a grate, can quickly switch to charcoal, wood or pellets.

Diesel boilers Kiturami are highly technological and are a perfectly balanced equipment for the use of diesel fuel as a heat source, and at the same time they are excellent for the above types of conversion to work on gas or solid fuel. So constructive and functional flexibility is the first significant advantage.

Kiturami boilers often use their own designs and unique layouts. On the one hand, this reduces the maintainability of heating equipment, but on the other hand, it ensures the highest efficiency of the boiler and balanced operation while observing simple and transparent operating rules. This is the second significant reason to turn your attention to diesel boilers from South Korea.

The last advantage is the cost of boiler equipment. Even taking into account the high performance and proven quality of the boilers, their cost does not exceed the average on the market among similar offers.

So it turns out that Kiturami boilers have three features: a balanced design, high efficiency and an affordable price.

Specifications

The operational characteristics, dimensions and parameters of the Turbo series boilers are presented in the table below. It is clearly seen that a series of floor-standing diesel boilers covers a power range from 10 to 35 kW, which is quite enough for heating houses up to 250-275 square meters. Part of the heat will go to the preparation of hot water, which must be taken into account in the calculations.

All Kuturami boilers are double-circuit and heat exchangers, by the way, are ideally designed specifically for these tasks.

Fuel consumption

Fuel consumption is specified in the table with technical requirements. However, please note that the actual flow rate depends on individual settings. Under the actual power required for heating the house, the appropriate nozzle is selected from the set proposed by the manufacturer.

The thermal power, fuel consumption and fuel combustion mode are set. The parameter indicated in the table displays factory presets sufficient to ensure proper performance if only high-quality fuel is used, more often it means diesel fuel already with winter additives that do not allow it to thicken or stand out paraffin in excess.

In a real situation, for a boiler model with a power of up to 15 kW, one can expect fuel consumption at the level of 8 liters per day taking into account the frequency of the burner and the optimal temperature in the house. However, this is not the limit.

The right approach to choosing the heating mode, as well as installing a controller with a variable temperature regime, for example, depending on the time of day and day of the week, can reduce consumption even more.

Chimney

Boilers Kuturami, gas, diesel, floor or wall-mounted, for the most part, are equipped with a closed combustion chamber and, accordingly, a forced exhaust gas system. The Turbo series, which we are currently reviewing, is no exception.

Chimney installation diagram

The chimney for boilers is used coaxial for the simultaneous supply of fresh air from the street and the removal of exhaust gases. Since the exhaust temperature after passing through the heat exchangers is no longer high, the requirements for the heat resistance of the chimney are reduced, and the list of acceptable materials is expanding.

In the best case, a steel coaxial chimney is still used, however, a ceramic vertical chimney with a group of internal separate channels for air supply, exhaust gases from the combustion chamber and ventilation of the boiler room can be effectively used in the same capacity.

The size of the chimney is strictly specified in the boiler specification and operating instructions. For the entire Turbo series, this is 80 mm.

It is possible, if desired, to make a chimney of a slightly larger diameter, but not more than 50% in excess of the specified value, that is, up to 120 mm.

In no case can the size and cross section be reduced. Even though the removal of combustion products is forced, the resistance of the chimney will greatly affect the combustion mode and the quality of the fuel burnout.

turbo 13r

The model number of the boiler corresponds to the amount of heat generated per hour - 13000 kcal/hour. In terms of the usual kilowatts, the values \u200b\u200bare obtained are 15.1 kW.

The declared power is enough to heat a house up to 150 m2. Naturally, one should take into account the heat costs for the preparation of hot water supply. If a significant consumption of hot water is predicted, moreover, regularly, then the heat output for the heating circuit will naturally be lower.

Reliability and balanced operation, combined with the affordable cost of the boiler, gives a clear advantage in the case of using several boilers simultaneously in one building, for example, when dividing the heating circuit for each floor separately or when covering a large area in two more wings, directions.

turbo 17

Boiler Kiturami turbo

The thermal power already reaches 19.8 kW, which is enough to cover the heating of a house up to 180 m2. It is possible to reasonably increase the upper performance threshold by selecting the appropriate nozzle on the burner, however, this will affect fuel consumption.

This approach allows you to solve the problem of increased DHW consumption so that you do not embarrass yourself in using hot water even in the most severe frosts without extra costs.

turbo 21r

With a further increase in power, there is a model with a declared capacity of 24.4 kW, along with this, the performance of the DHW circuit increases significantly. It should be noted that the dimensions of the boiler do not change compared to the younger models.

turbo 30r

The most powerful model in the Kiturami line of liquid fuel boilers. Performance at the level of 34.9 kW makes it possible to heat a room up to 350 m2, but at the same time the cost of the boiler in retail is approximately 45-46 thousand rubles., which is certainly an attractive option.

As in the entire line of boilers, burners with a unique flame shape and optimal fuel combustion mode are used.

The minimum amount of nitrogen oxides is recorded in the exhaust, which indicates the high environmental friendliness of the equipment.

Setting

It is better to entrust the initial start-up and configuration of Kiturami boilers to a specialist who can correctly determine the optimal operating mode, select the desired type of nozzle and calibrate fuel consumption depending on its characteristics and even the connection method and location of the fuel tank.

Nozzle for diesel boiler

For self-installation, complete with the boiler, a detailed instruction is attached, according to which you can determine the operating mode closest to the design value.

The main thing is to follow the sequence of actions defined in the technical documentation and visual aids for putting the equipment into operation.

It is necessary to adjust and adjust the boiler settings not only at the first start-up, but also during maintenance before each new season and for switching to summer mode, in which only the DHW circuit will be used.

Faults

Kuturami boiler equipment is equipped with a full-fledged self-diagnosis system built on the operation of a number of sensors. The controller is able to evaluate the condition of the equipment as well as the current mode of operation and respond to any deviations or problems that arise during operation.

In any emergency situation, the main action determined by the boiler controller is to stop the burner in order to prevent significant consequences.

A well-developed self-diagnosis algorithm allows you to identify the problem and indicate the error code on the display so that the user can take all the necessary actions to repair and restore performance as quickly as possible.

Among the frequent breakdowns of diesel boilers Kiturami:

  • No ignition (error code 01);
  • Does not start, no messages on the display.;
  • Coolant leakage (depressurization of the heat exchanger or one of the pipeline connections);
  • The flame goes out periodically with an emergency stop of the boiler;
  • There is no draft, the operation of the boiler is accompanied by the flow of smoke and exhaust into the room.

Error 01 and solution

If error code 01 appears on the boiler display screen, it means that for some reason the fuel did not ignite, there is no torch, the controller forcibly stops the fuel supply, issues an error message, and signals the problem to the user.

Solving the problem requires the exact implementation of a procedure that can identify the source of the problem and eliminate the obstacle in the boiler as efficiently as possible.

Briefly, the procedure looks like this:

Quite often, the fuel-air mixture is supplied under too much pressure into the chamber and therefore does not have time to ignite from the electrode. The problem is solved even at the 5th step of the algorithm by adjusting the air damper, which causes a mixture with a changed concentration to enter the chamber.

Doesn't start

The most unpleasant situation is when the boiler simply does not turn on. There are no signals on the display, and accordingly there is no error code by which it would be possible to determine the malfunction.

In such a situation, it would be adequate to call a service center specialist who will be able to understand the situation and issue the correct verdict, as well as determine the repair procedure. On your own, you can only check the presence of voltage in the network, as well as the fuses in the boiler.

leak

Most often, a leak means that a gasket seal has been damaged in some connection of the pipeline inside the boiler. It is enough to inspect the equipment and determine the place of leakage, replace the gasket.

The heat exchanger in Kiturami boilers is made of alloyed steel and copper, so it does not leak without obvious errors in the selection of the coolant or mechanical damage.

Burner goes out intermittently

The most common cause is a burner setting failure. It is important to adjust it in terms of power and, using a gas analyzer, determine the optimal air / fuel ratio for proper combustion. Such work cannot be done on your own, so it is better to contact the service center.

No draft, smoke and exhaust enters the room

Most likely the burner fan is not working for some reason. It is important first of all to check that the impeller is intact and scrolls normally.

It is possible that debris has accumulated inside the fan, or the impeller shaft is jammed. Next, the electrical part and the control unit are checked.

Connecting the diesel boiler Kiturami Turbo to the DHW system

Options for connecting a diesel boiler Kiturami Turbo to a hot water supply system

The heating boiler Kiturami Turbo 13/17 additionally provides hot water supply to the heated facility.

The hot water supply circuit of the boiler is connected to the hot water supply system of the building.

The further selection of hot water depends on the scheme for connecting the boiler circuit to the hot water supply of the building, the consumption of which is determined by the options for the desired consumption:

Option 1. For one-time domestic purposes, by simply opening a tap at a collapsible point when the unit is turned on and operating in heating mode.

Option 2. To ensure the required flow of hot water by changing the operating mode of the unit by pressing the "SHOWER" function button located on the room thermostat.

The Kiturami Turbo 13/17 boiler in the "SHOWER" functional mode provides hot water supply at any time of the year. During operation of the unit in the functional mode "SHOWER", the functional modes of the boiler for heating the building do not work.

If the need for hot water exceeds 1.5 hours, it is enough to extend this mode by pressing the "SHOWER" button again.

Variants I and II provide hot water extraction when the boiler is connected to the pipelines, the scheme of which is shown in the "Boiler piping" section of this passport.

Option 3. This option is a non-standard solution for providing the building with hot water (for example: several simultaneously operating water appliances, in an amount equal to the number of people living in the house; using a recirculation system; providing hot water around the clock, etc.).

Connection of the unit to the hot water supply of the building with a non-standard solution will be carried out by a separate project "Hot water supply of the building". In this project, it is necessary to justify the choice of the boiler according to its thermal power.

In option III, it is allowed to connect the boiler to pipelines with deviations from the scheme shown in the "Boiler pipe system" section of this passport, if the safe operation of the boiler is ensured.

When connecting diesel boilers Kiturami Turbo to the hot water supply system, it is necessary to use: data from the main characteristics of the boiler of this passport; the requirements of this section; building hot water project.

Fig.9.

Ensuring the preparation and selection of hot water:

The preparation of hot water is provided by the circuit of the unit. The cold water inlet to the boiler is made through hole 16 (see the inscription on the boiler body: "Hot water inlet"). The hot water outlet is made through hole 17 (see the inscription on the body: "Hot water outlet").

The process of hot water preparation in the unit is ensured by the transfer of heat by the heat carrier of the heating circuit to the circuit with a temperature increase At = from 25 to 40°C. The increase in water temperature in the boiler depends on the water flow (l/min) and on the cold water pressure in front of the boiler opening 16.

Preparation of hot water is provided at a temperature of the heat carrier from 80 °C to 85 °C.

The stability of water treatment by temperature depends on the presence or absence of natural circulation of the coolant in the heating system.

One of the options for blocking natural circulation when the diesel boiler Kiturami Turbo 13 is operating in hot water mode is described in the section of this passport.

Other technical solutions that ensure the stability of water preparation in terms of temperature are determined by the conditions set forth in the passport.

The selection of hot water depends on the height of the location and remoteness of the water fittings, the number of collapsible points simultaneously involved, on the hydraulic resistance of the pipeline, on the temperature and pressure of cold water at the inlet to the unit.

The maximum allowable working pressure for the DHW circuit, not more than 3.5 kg / cm2.

If the cold water line 19 provides water supply with a pressure of 3.5 kg / cm ″ and more, it is necessary to install a reducer 20. The cold water pressure regulation by the reducer 20 ensures the implementation of the recommendations set out in clause 2.5. of this subsection. Control of the pressure adjustment on the cold water supply is carried out with a pressure gauge 23 with a maximum pressure of not more than 10 kg / cm2.

It is not allowed to supply cold water to the unit at any set operating pressure if there is a possibility of pressure surge in the pipeline, or the pressure on the cold water supply is of a severely variable nature.

The presence of thermal insulation on the main DHW pipes provides additional savings in fuel consumption.

  • The work of the Kiturami concern is aimed at the production of heating devices for biofuels and gas. But it was diesel-fueled equipment that made this manufacturer popular.

    Advantages of diesel fuel installations:

    • Ease of use due to the ability to control any function using the remote control. The thermostat built into it determines the operating and temperature conditions. The operation of the boiler does not depend on the size and presence of draft, since the existing effect of turbocharging contributes to the forced direction of exhaust gases into the chimney;
    • High economic efficiency is achieved through aerodynamic flow during fuel combustion;
    • Possibility of self-configuration;
    • Year-round hot water supply;
    • The presence of a self-diagnosis system with information about the operation and malfunctions of the system;
    • Acceptable price;
    • Variety of lineup.

    The only negative is the type of fuel, which creates a negative environmental situation when it is burned.

    Equipment characteristics

    • The design, equipped with high-quality elements and blocks, is different from other brands. The heat exchanger is made of highly alloyed steel, superior in physical and technical qualities to other metals, which increases its cost, offset by high quality.
    • The equipment is made of copper, which does not react with water and increases its heat resistance. The presence of internal and external control units, which contributes to the regulation and control of the operating mode of the system from various places in the boiler room.
    • Coverage of the power range of floor-standing 2-loop units – from 10 to 35 kW, sufficient for heating 250-275 sq. m.
    • The dependence of the actual fuel consumption on personal settings. The nozzle is selected from the manufacturer for the actual power parameters.
    • Heating power, fuel consumption and its combustion mode are set independently. With power parameters up to 15 kW, the expected fuel consumption is 8 liters per day, while the burner will work with a certain frequency to create the optimal room temperature. By choosing the right heating mode and installing a variable temperature controller, you can significantly reduce fuel consumption.
    • Boilers for gas, diesel fuel, floor or mounted on the wall are mainly equipped with a closed-type combustion chamber and a forced gas exhaust system. A steel or ceramic chimney is coaxial so that the supply of street air flow and gas exhaust are carried out at the same time.
    • It is possible to build a chimney with a slightly larger diameter - up to 120 mm. Reducing its size and cross section is unacceptable.

    The lineup

    The development of KSO models was originally carried out as gas-powered equipment. After changing the type of burner and slightly changing the monitoring and control system, it became possible to use other energy sources. The main fuel was diesel. The turbocyclone burner contributed to 100% fuel combustion and increased efficiency. The advantages of the model are simplicity of design, ease of maintenance and low price.

    Biofuel boilers models KRM-30R and KRM-70R with changes made to their design, both diesel fuel and other solid fuels are used. The transition from one type of fuel to another is carried out quickly. The forced circulation system increases the efficiency of the heater. These models differ only in power.

    Model turbo 13r generates 13,000 kcal/hour of thermal energy or 15.1 kW, which is enough to heat 150 sq. m. The heat costs for the preparation of hot water supply are taken into account. With significant regular waste of boiling water, the thermal circuit power is lower.

    Model turbo 17 has a thermal power parameter of 19.8 kW, sufficient to heat 180 square meters. m. To increase the limit of the upper performance threshold, nozzles on the burner are selected, which may affect fuel consumption.

    Model turbo 21r with a capacity of 24.4 kW has an increased capacity of the DHW circuit. At the same time, the dimensions of the boiler remain unchanged.

    Liquid fuel model turbo 30 r has a capacity of 34.9 kW, sufficient for heating 350 square meters. m. Equipped with flame-shaped burners, the fuel combustion mode is optimal. Due to the small number of nitrogen oxides, it is a highly environmentally friendly equipment.

    Price

    • Turbo models 15-35 kW for heating 150-350 sq. m, weighing 52-85 kg - cost 28 thousand-37 thousand rubles;
    • STS models 17-35 kW for heating 160-350 sq. m, weighing 40-58 kg - cost 29 thousand-43 thousand rubles;
    • KSO models 58-465 kW for heating 580-4650 sq. m, weighing 93-750 kg - cost 75 thousand-428 thousand rubles.

    Owner reviews

    “In 2012, a Kiturami 17R boiler was purchased. Excellent purchase. He was supposed to work as an understudy for the Evan Epo-18 electric boiler, which acts as the main one in the heating system. Since an area of 150 sq. m, then the choice specifically fell on high-power equipment. In severe frosts, the main boiler cannot cope with maintaining the required temperature regime, it stops working due to a voltage drop in the network. Kiturami acts as a lifeguard by providing warmth and water.” Tambov, Arkady

    “The Kiturami Turbo boiler is of interest in terms of hot water due to the presence of the SHOWER function, which is capable of delivering a small amount of hot water in a short period of time.” Sochi, Marina

    “Wonderful equipment. No matter how many such systems have been installed, practically no one has any complaints. The whole of Siberia is warmed by them.” Yekaterinburg, Sergey

    “The cost of this equipment is already interesting. Spare parts are always in stock, the panels are unified.” Moscow, Konstantin

    “We have our own claims to the boilers of this company. In my opinion, they are not entirely reliable. So we had to resort to repairs twice. Automation fails." St. Petersburg, Alexander

    Installation and operation rules

    In the presence of power surges, it is desirable to purchase a stabilizer to ensure the correct operation of the control and monitoring unit and safety from premature failure

    The boilers are equipped with tanks for storing liquid fuel. These tanks can affect the performance of the equipment. It is necessary to properly install this container, which must be set on all planes.

    The tank must have a pipe for draining sediments and a fix bag. The container must be periodically emptied of fuel and cleaned; it is recommended to use only purified fuel.

    Before starting the equipment, diesel fuel is initially filled into the tank, which must settle for at least half an hour. Only after that the unit is started and the operating modes are adjusted.

    In the presence of power surges, it is desirable to purchase a stabilizer to ensure the correct operation of the control and monitoring unit and safety from premature failure.

    To keep the boiler working you need:

    • Periodic mechanical cleaning.
    • Constant monitoring of equipment performance and checking of components and parts for their leakage.

    Self-installation of diesel boilers is possible with a careful study of the schemes and recommendations of the manufacturer.
