Installation of a bosch therm 4000 o gas column. Geyser Bosch: an overview of models and prices. Geysers Bosch Multi-level security system

It is difficult to find a more famous German brand on the home appliance market than Bosch. Under this logo, a successful German corporation distributes consumer electronics and appliances -, and, boilers, etc. Our review will be devoted to the Bosch geyser.

The guide is based on instructions (manuals), user reviews, expert opinions. You will learn about common equipment failures: when you buy a Bosch water heater, you will be fully equipped.

Rulers and their features

Unlike the products of the main competitor of the German corporation - "Electrolux", the model range of Bosch Group is diverse. Various modifications and form factors are available to buyers; the equipment can be kindled according to any of the types of ignition that exist today, it has different thermal power, productivity (in liters), design and body dimensions.

All models are assembled in Portugal, except for the inexpensive "Therm 2000 O", traditionally assembled in China. Let us consider further each series and some models included in it separately.

Therm 2000O

Inexpensive version with modest performance, delivering 10 liters of hot water in 1 minute. It provides for ignition using batteries, as well as a built-in tubular copper heat exchanger. The gas burner is made of stainless steel. Like "colleagues" under the brand name "Ariston", such GKs are equipped with an emergency sensor for the presence of thrust and flame control. The design provides for a temperature water sensor and the "Gas-control" system. The GC is made in a compact case, it is relatively cheap - about 8,000 rubles.

Therm 4000 Series

The line contains the options with the highest demand. Moreover, there is both with AUTO-ignition from batteries or conventional salt (alkaline) batteries, and with piezo ignition (you need to press a separate button in order to ignite the flame). The series provides equipment with three power levels, passing 10-15 liters per minute. The series is equipped with high quality heat exchangers made of copper and efficiently coping with heating. The performance of this node is limited to 15 years.

These models are supplied with a continuously modulating burner flame. The function is used to maintain the set flow temperature at the outlet.

Important! The main plus of Therm 4000 O is that it can be turned on even at a water pressure (pressure) of only 0.1 atm.

Therm 4000S

The main distinguishing point is the presence of a fan that provides forced draft. Columns from this series do not require the installation of a chimney. This is convenient when installing in an apartment or house in which the chimney lining will be problematic.

The output of combustion products in these models, as well as the air supply, is carried out in a coaxial chimney. This element is located on the outside of the wall (horizontally). This is an optional feature and must be purchased separately.

Another technical point: the presence of electronic control in the user panel. It displays error codes and other information about the operating modes or malfunctions of the unit. The control panel also makes it easy for the user to perform tasks such as setting the temperature and others. Accurate flame modulation reduces temperature error to just 1 degree.

It is supplied in three different power types, with capacities ranging from 12 to 18 liters per minute. There is another significant difference in this series - energy dependence due to the fan in the design. Unfortunately, this is somewhat of a minus, because the column will not function without electricity.

Therm 6000O

This line of Bosch water heaters is equipped with a hydrogenerator. Auto-ignition is provided by a flow through the design of the device itself. By opening the tap, the user starts the water supply to the heater, and thanks to the HYDRO POWER technology, automatic start is carried out by means of a hydrodynamic generator.

To ignite the unit, no piezo or batteries are needed. Productivity of models in a series: 10, 13 and 15 liters.

On the user panel there is a liquid crystal display - it displays information about the temperature, which is adjusted with a rotary knob.

Therm 6000 S and 8000 S

These series include industrial options with a capacity of 24 and 27 liters per minute. Such units will freely provide hot water supply (DHW) to several points of intake (4-5) without loss of work power. The units are equipped with electric ignition and a display on the side of the user panel.

The model of the 6000 S series is equipped with two fans at once, which remove combustion products and provide air suction. The 8000 S has a special condensing technology for high efficiency heating of the water flow. The water valve in the 8000 S is also electrically operated.

How the Bosch gas water heater works

For a detailed acquaintance with the design of the Bosch Group of Companies, consider the structure of the device using an example from the Therm 4000 O series, model WR, equipped with piezo ignition.

The operation of a device equipped with a piezo ignition is extremely clear. To start, it is enough to set the thermostat to the “ON” position, press the regulator button, while holding down the ignition button with a piezo at the same time. Hold the temperature control button until the appliance turns on. Use the same switch to select the desired temperature.

If you choose a water heater equipped with automatic ignition, it will be even easier to manage. To do this, open the DHW tap on the mixer, and that's it - the column will start working by itself. This is facilitated by pre-installed batteries. All Bosch water heaters are equipped with branded batteries. They need to be changed about once a year. The device, the igniter of which lights up with the help of a piezo ignition, burns all the time, and in automatic units the flame goes out when the device is turned off.

User opinion

Maria, Kaliningrad

What I like: mechanical control, no batteries. The wick will burn while you are at home. No flaws, so far has not required maintenance.

Dmitry, Moscow

At work, this is a great technique. Nothing extra. Externally made very high quality. But after a year of work it started leaking. Holes in the heat exchanger constantly have to be soldered. Tired already. Piezo ignition initially did not work, although there is a spark. You have to light it with matches. The Portuguese disappointed, regretted that he fell for the German brand.

Sergey, Suvorov

Easy to use and doesn't take up much space. Hanging for almost 3 years. Unfortunately, it does not heat well in winter - it cannot be set up, and the pump is “to the point”. The master said that the problem is that I live on the top floor of a Soviet-built house. Who knows ... by the way, everything is in order in the summer.

Bosch WR 13-2P

A gas water heater with a capacity of 13 liters and a heat output of 22.6 kW will heat water up to a maximum of 60 degrees. The inlet pressure is from 0.1 to 12 atm.

This model can run on LPG. The combustion chamber is open type. Piezo ignition provided. Management is mechanics. There is also a water temperature limiter. Installation of the device is classical - vertical. Attaches to the wall. Dimensions (WxDxH): 35x65.5x22 cm. GK weighs 13 kg. Price - from 10 880 rubles.

Snezhana, Tver

Wonderful unit. In use, however, not very long, but there are no obvious shortcomings. Compared to the old almost Soviet contraption, this is an excellent technique. When you turn on the water, the heating is smooth - you don’t get burned, and this is a significant plus. It works quietly and does not rattle when the water is turned on. The dimensions are modest, it didn’t take up much space, so there are only advantages.

Alexey, Kaliningrad

This is my first column, so there is nothing to draw a parallel with. She worked for me for almost 5 years. In the third year of operation, I discovered that the wick was going out. I watched a video on YouTube on how to clean it, so I decided the issue myself. By the way, the piezo ignition also doesn’t work very well, so I always keep matches nearby. Otherwise - nothing, enough for a family of 4 people. Set up at two points: bath and kitchen. Filtering was not set.

Typical breakdowns

Most often, the owners of the Bosch Group of Companies are faced with such equipment malfunctions:

  • The igniter goes out or the main battery does not turn on on the first ignition attempt. In this case, you need to clean the pilot burner of the device.
  • The wick is extinguished or the igniter goes out when the user turns the tap on the mixer. Check the gas pressure reducer if the work is carried out on liquefied gas (in cylinders).
  • The water is not warm enough. Perhaps the thermostat is set incorrectly.
  • Igniter goes out from time to time. Most likely, the thrust sensor or thermal sensor is triggered. The elimination of these breakdowns should be entrusted to the master.
  • Insufficient water pressure through the GC. The heat exchanger, the water unit or the mixer itself could become clogged. It is worth identifying the blockage and cleaning it.

Thanks to a wide range of functions and high quality, the Bosch geyser is very popular all over the world. With the help of this unit, you can create an autonomous hot water supply in an apartment, private cottage or country house. There is a great abundance of models of this brand on the market, among which a simple buyer can get confused and buy a Bosch geyser that is not suitable for certain conditions. To avoid such a situation, you should study in detail the principle of operation of water heaters, characteristics and varieties.

Rating of the best models of geysers Bosch

On the official website of the company, a wide range of Bosch gas water heaters is provided, so that each consumer will be able to choose an option for himself in terms of cost and technical characteristics. Each classification differs in the type of ignition, power and performance, but they are all made in two main shades:

  • white;
  • grey.

Modifications are made at the Portuguese factory, but Bosch devices can be purchased in Moscow, St. Petersburg and in any other city through official representatives. There is a separate series of geysers, which is assembled in China, in fact, it is the most budget option. Let us consider in more detail which versions of devices are supplied to the domestic market.

Bosch 2000-O THERM

This line is considered the cheapest, since it has a relatively low productivity of up to 10 l / min. and involves working in combination with one water intake point.

The water heaters have a battery ignition system, a tubular type heat exchanger made of copper material and a steel burner. The units have a controller for the degree of thrust and the level of the flame. The devices were also equipped with a temperature sensor for the liquid and gas flow. This version includes the Bosch W 10 KB device with compact dimensional parameters and an estimated cost of 8,000 rubles.

Bosch 4000-O THERM

The most popular series of Bosch geysers, which is available with an automatic ignition method or piezo ignition. In the first case, water heaters operate on batteries and require regular replacement of the voltage source, the second option requires constant pressing of the key to start work. 3 varieties are supplied to the market, with different power indicators and performance levels - 10-15 l / min.

BOSCH WR 10-2 R23

The units have a heat exchanger consisting of a copper material, due to which the device has an increased service life of up to 15 years. In addition to all modifications, they are equipped with a smooth modulation of the burner fire, thanks to which the device is able to independently maintain the specified temperature regime even with pressure surges.

One of the most important advantages is the possibility of functioning at a water pressure in the plumbing system of 0.1 atm.

This classification includes the following models:

  • modifications of the machine with the prefix "B" - WR10 2V, 13 2V, 15 2V;
  • semiautomatic device with the prefix "P", indicating the presence of a piezo ignition - gas water heater Bosch WR 102P, 13 2P, 15 2P.

Each option has an individual column ignition method. In the first case, ignition is carried out without the user's participation when the water tap is opened, in the second case, you need to set fire to the wick in the device by simply pressing the desired key.

Water heaters with piezo ignition are significantly cheaper than electric ignition devices, but each of the options has its drawbacks - the need to replace batteries, the inconvenience of turning on the column at arm's length, etc.

Bosch 4000-S THERM

The main distinguishing characteristic of the devices of this series is the presence in the design of a fan that creates forced draft. The devices are able to function without a chimney system, so there is no need for special maintenance. Such units are especially relevant for apartment owners in which it is not possible to equip a chimney.

Therm 4000 S WTD 12AM E23

The output of combustion products and the supply of fresh air is carried out by a coaxial chimney. This element must be installed horizontally through the wall directly to the street. It is sold as an additional option and, as a rule, is supplied separately from the geyser.

Also in the units there is a digital display for determining error codes, setting the temperature regime and other programs. This device, thanks to the burner fire modulation device, can maintain the set mode with an error of up to 1 ° C.

The line includes the following models:

  • WTD 12AM E-23;
  • 15AM E-23;
  • 18AM E-23.

From this it becomes clear that modifications are made in three versions in terms of power and intensity of heating 12-18 l / min. They have a drawback - the devices are powered by 220 V, so the models are considered completely volatile.

Bosch 6000-O THERM

Bosch 10 2G, WRD 13 2G, 15 2G devices are equipped with a hydrogenerator and automatic ignition of the burner, which is carried out by means of a water flow. When the tap is opened, the liquid circulates into the column, and the Hydro Power system automatically starts the device with a hydrodynamic generator. In this case, batteries or a piezoelectric element are not required.

Therm 6000 WRD 10 2G

As for the heating efficiency, it is 10-15 l / min., Depending on the modification. The control panel is equipped with a liquid crystal screen, which displays all information about the operation of the device.

Geyser Bosch 6 000-S, 8 000-S THERM

These series are considered industrial because they are capable of producing 24 and 27 l / min. and work on 4 mixers. Geysers have electric ignition and a liquid crystal screen on the front of the panel.

THERM 8000 WTD 27 AME

In the first case, the units are equipped with two fans, in the second - with a special condensation device and an electric drive.

Frequent problems

Each consumer should be aware of the problems that he may encounter when operating a Bosch geyser. Regardless of which W10 KB or WRD 13 2G model it is, where it was purchased and at what price, the following situations may occur during use:

  1. The water heater does not ignite or the fire goes out a few seconds after starting. Ignition burner needs to be cleaned.
  2. The wick goes out when the water collection starts. The fuel pressure regulator needs to be checked. This must be done if the device operates on bottled fuel.
  3. The liquid warms up insufficiently or does not change the initial temperature at all. It is necessary to examine whether the temperature control knob, which is located on the front of the control panel, is set correctly.
  4. The igniter goes out for no reason. Probably, the controller of the degree of traction or the temperature regime of the water is turned on. This will require the intervention of a Bosch gas column repairman.
  5. The pressure of the water leaving the column has decreased. The cause of the problem is the contamination of the heat exchanger, tap, water unit. It is necessary to identify the source and clean it up.
  6. Water heater with automatic system does not start. The batteries may be dead or damaged, you need to replace them with new ones.

VIDEO: How to choose Bosch water heaters - what's the difference

Geyser Bosch Therm 4000 GWH

The Therm 4000 GWH 10/13 model (water heater) is offered in three modifications differing in their operational characteristics.

It is 27% more compact than its predecessor and is the most compact in its power category.

The main advantage is increased safety: in the event of a malfunction, for example in the event of insufficient air supply, our gas water heater automatically switches off the appliance and thus provides protection.

The minimum water pressure to turn on a water heater with piezo ignition and battery ignition is 0.1–0.2 atm. At the same time, the device works stably and produces hot water with a constant temperature.

All modifications are equipped with a flame modulation system, i.e. automatic power change depending on the water flow. For the user, this means a constant water temperature regardless of consumption.

A characteristic feature of this gas water heater is the developed technology that ensures safety.

Even if the draft is insufficient, the flue gases will no longer get back into the living space. The latest Anti Overflow System reliably ensures the removal of combustion products through the chimney.

Also, all models of the Bosch 4000 geyser are equipped with: flame control, which turns off the gas supply if for some reason the flame goes out; superheat control, which switches off the device if the heat exchanger overheats.

Ignition of the igniter with a simple push of a button. To ignite the igniter, you need to press the igniter gas valve opening button with one hand, and the piezo ignition button with the other hand.

The electrical spark created by the piezoelectric element ignites the pilot burner. After the appearance of the flame 10–15 sec. the gas valve opening button must be held down.

During this time, the thermocouple is heated, which controls the presence of a flame, and with the help of an electromagnet keeps the gas valve open.

The water heater is ready for operation. The power of the water heater is changed by the position of the slider, and the water temperature is changed by the position of the rotary knob of the regulator. If the tap water filter is clogged, it can be easily removed and washed.

Minimum possible ignitor gas consumption - The gas consumption of a constantly burning igniter flame in water heaters has been reduced to the minimum possible.

The pilot burner nozzle is precisely sized to ensure that the flame burns steadily and can ignite the main burner.

In this case: Keep the button of the power regulator pressed until all air is expelled from the gas supply pipe.

If ignition has occurred: by moving the power regulator to the right, set the required power.

With the help of the power regulator, you can set the required power. By moving the knob to the right, power and gas consumption increase. Maximum power is reached when the regulator is set to the extreme right position.

To save energy: set the power regulator to a position that fully corresponds to the required power.

After following these steps, the main burner lights up automatically as soon as the hot water tap is opened, since the pilot flame burns continuously.

To turn off the device: move the power regulator to the left as far as it will go. After a few seconds, the pilot flame will go out.

I have lived in an apartment with a column all my life and I know all their pros and cons. Only here the columns were the simplest (Soviet cast-iron and Astra). And finally, I have a new BOSCH column !!!

Price 9900 rub. on the date 01/12/2015, but I know that it is constantly growing.

VISUAL INDICATORS:

  1. It is smaller than Astra, and the diameter of the exhaust pipe is smaller. Dimensions (HxWxD), mm 580x310x220, weight 11 kg.
  2. The wick is VERY small, almost does not heat the water, it is needed for the gas control sensor.

    During the day you can not even see how it burns.

    Why "everything that was previously impossible" is possible.

    1. A small wick does not heat the water (immediately after switching on, no boiling water comes out, no need to drain, the water does not boil away and no scale is formed that clogs the column).
    2. You can not turn on the water to the full and not be afraid that the column will go out (thus adjusting the pressure and temperature of the water).
    3. You can simultaneously turn on both taps with water (hot and cold), the column does not start to hiss and go out.
    4. Excellent pressure allows you to turn on the water in the kitchen and in the bathroom (before, there was only enough pressure for one thing).

    Why "no savings".

    We had a problem that the cold water pressure was good, but there was a thin stream from the column, the column barely caught fire. And now I turn on the water only halfway and I have enough. So now my water meter is winding like crazy ((((

    Another plus would be to note the presence of gas control, water filter, overheating sensor.

    Highly comfortable andneat appearance of adjusting the water pressure and temperature.

    For those who understand this

    The installer of the column (called from the store where it was bought), after careful questioning, admitted that she could have only one problem. Once every two years, it is desirable to clean it from dust (the column is designed in such a way that draft is formed in it from the bottom to the top and therefore dust, fluff in summer, etc. lingers inside). But this is only if she began to ignite badly. And in all other respects, he said that this particular model is the most ideal option, nothing superfluous and not expensive !!!

    I'm really satisfied! Well, unless you count the increase in water consumption of course))))))

After the German company Bosch began to produce gas water heaters under its own brand, the products firmly began to occupy a leading position. A feature of the company's geysers is their completely "white" assembly. And, as you know, European quality is valued all over the world for its reliability and durability. All this imposes on the company an obligation to provide customers with a long warranty period (2-3 years) for their equipment.

I would especially like to pay attention to the WR-13 range of geysers, which was created specifically for two gas supply systems - stationary and bottled, running on liquefied gas. Under our conditions, none of the above methods of gas supply can be neglected. Thanks to this range of gas supply, the system has a high protection against changes in gas pressure and overheating.

In this line there is a type of speakers WR 13-2, which has proven itself with multifunctionality, lightness, small size and undemanding installation conditions.

In particular, this type of column is divided into three subspecies depending on the launch system: P - piezo ignition, B - auto ignition and G - hydro generator.

The advantages of geysers WR 13-2 is the presence in them:

  • components from Europe, including assembly;
  • main elements made of stainless steel, including burner nozzles;
  • flame control and air draft;
  • water flow regulator;
  • safety overheating;
  • ionization control fuse.

Bosch WR 13-2 is designed to simultaneously heat water for washing dishes and taking a shower. The device allows you to pass water through itself with a productivity of 13 l / min, heating it with a power of 22.60 kW.

With high performance, the WR 13-2 has a very small size of 66x35x22 cm (HxWxD) and an acceptable weight of 13 kg.

The device allows you to raise the temperature by 25 degrees from the initial water temperature with a productivity of 13 l / min. or 50 degrees - with a capacity of 7 l / min. The cost of the WR 13-2 range ranges from 9,000 to 13,000 rubles.

In order for the device to be installed at home, a chimney with a diameter of 13 cm must be installed in it.

Due to the fact that the geyser can not only function from a stationary gas supply, but also from a bottled one, it can be used both in urban conditions and in country apartments.

By installing the WR 13-2 in your premises, you will forget about the time when you felt discomfort from the lack of hot water, and you will no longer have to pay monthly utility bills for expensive hot water.

Compactness, safety, quality and durability of WR 13-2 will allow you to receive comfort from use of this device.

And finally, when starting to produce gas water heaters, Bosch made sure that in each regional city there was its gas water heater service center, so when you buy the WR 13-2 model, you not only insure yourself against malfunctions, but also provide the necessary preventive maintenance of the device.

So, by purchasing the WR 13-2, you embody the motto in your life: “Let the water of the required temperature flow, and the device does not fight!”.
