Cable ducts and communication wells serve for the arrangement of cable ducts - this is a separate direction in the construction of technical structures. In fact, these are manholes that are built from precast concrete elements. It is this material that ensures high strength, reliability and durability of the structure.cable wells are distinguished by purpose, material, size and calculated vertical load. The main classification includes two types: typical and special. Consider. They are classified as special items.

1. Variants of writing marking.

Marking is carried out according toTU 45 1418-83 , and includes the designation of the product type, size group and design load. The spelling of the designation can be done in different ways, which is not an error:

1. KKS 1-10 with cast iron. hatch GTS-L;

2. KKSR 1-10.

2. The main scope.

Wells for cable ducts and communications KKS 1-10 with a cast-iron hatch GTS-L - these are inspection wells of a through passage type of a tetrahedral shape. The scope of application includes the arrangement of technical structures for laying cable communications and networks for various purposes. In such well structures, as a rule, polyethylene and asbestos-cement pipes are laid. Some products do not contain holes for laying pipelines; they are performed at the installation site (pneumatic or electric tools are used).

Device well KKS 1-10 with a cast-iron hatch GTS-L includes two components: a bottom in the form of a square section plate and an upper ceiling with side walls. For access to the inside of the structure, there is an inspection hatch in the upper part (a cast-iron cover of a round section). These wells are also called telephone wells, as it is an integral part of communications and cable ducts. The main purpose is the pulling of communication networks, for example, for urban telephone networks or the Internet. The number 10 is indicated in the designation - this is the load that the well will withstand. For this level of strength, the scope of operation is established on roadways and highways for pulling, installing, checking, repairing and maintaining communication cables. You can place expensive equipment and pipelines that operate automatically without fear of damage or theft.

3. Designation of product marking.

The marking includes the standard size of the well and its vertical design load. The designation is made in accordance with the current Standard -TU 45 1418-83 , which also fixed the technology of their production and application. Additionally, the presence of nuts, brackets and ruffs can be indicated, for this the abbreviation "GEK" is added to the marking. Brackets are used to secure cable networks. Embedded parts are made of carbon steel.

KKS 1-10 with a cast-iron hatch GTS-L , where:

1. KKS - cable communication well;

2. 1 - standard size;

3. 10 - calculated vertical load.

Reinforced concrete well of cable duct has the following overall dimensions:

1. Length - 1360 ;

2. Width - 1040 ;

3. Height - 900 ;

4. Weight - 1000 ;

5. Geometric volume -1,273 ;

6. Volume of concrete - 0,33 .

4. Basic materials for manufacturing and their characteristics.

Wells for cable ducts and communications KKS 1-10 with a cast-iron hatch GTS-L are made of concrete of heavy grades, which meet high requirements for strength, mechanical resistance and durability. The operation of well structures is carried out in slightly aggressive conditions, so concrete must meet the minimum requirements for frost resistance (50 freeze-thaw cycles) and water resistance (at least W2).KKS 1-10 with a cast-iron hatch GTS-L equipped with a cast-iron hatch type "T" ("heavy"). Installation of the KKS well is carried out on a pre-prepared base. A pit of a given depth is dug and a gravel-sand cushion is equipped.

When arrangingcable duct wells KKS 1-10 with a cast-iron hatch GTS-L mounting joints must be coated with cement mortar to ensure proper tightness of the structure. The depth, as a rule, reaches 1 meter. The installation of the well must be carried out in an environment that does not exhibit an aggressive effect on concrete.

Cable wells of communication KKS 1-10 or, as they are also called, telephone wells are part of communication, cable ducts that exist for pulling and maintaining communication cables, for example, a public telephone network or the Internet. Cable wells vary in size and modifications. Well KKS 1 is the smallest. It is made of reinforced concrete, such strength is very important and is explained by the fact that they need to withstand the load of soil pressure. Load 10 indicates that this cable well can only be located in the sidewalk or yard area, and should not be used under the roadway. Communication wells are made of heavy concrete. Thanks to this, they can reliably place equipment that allows you to automatically regulate the distribution of Internet traffic. This modern type of communication needs reliable protection from environmental conditions and provides access only when necessary, without the penetration of unauthorized persons.

Each telephone well (except KKS-1) consists of upper and lower blocks, which are connected directly at the construction site by welding. The inlet, round in shape, is located on top, consists of a reinforced concrete ring and a cast-iron hatch. Some cable wells can be equipped with nuts, brackets and ruffs, then the abbreviation "KKS 1-10 GEK" is put on them. A communication cable is attached to the brackets. The number of brackets and consoles depends on the type of KKS well. Brackets are made of steel, they are equipped with anchor bolts and nuts. This well should be blocked with a cast-iron hatch of type "L" - light. Transportation of cable wells KKS is carried out by road. The car must be open top. During transportation, wells must not be stacked on top of each other. Installation of the telephone well KKS-1 should be carried out in a previously prepared pit. The ground must be level before this.

All seams must be well processed, smeared with cement mortar, so that the well is airtight so that moisture does not get on the cable connections. In order for the cement to “grab” better, each of the reinforced concrete parts is treated with water, simply moistened. For the safety of communication cables inside the wells, special casings and cable channels are used. Usually these are plastic pipes that run underground and branch out in telephone wells. Such wells are buried about a meter into the ground. In such a well, there must be access to all the elements that are installed inside.

If the line is being audited, then access should be easy and quick thanks to a simple closure system. There is enough space in such a well to carry out all the necessary checks and work by signalmen. If ruffs and brackets are not provided, the customer can choose the ones that he needs. The mass of cable wells depends on its index.

Taking into account the fact that the environment, in this case the soil, should not be aggressive to materials such as concrete. According to their technical purpose, wells are stationary, walk-through, corner and branching wells KKSr 1-10. If you count in the direction from the mine, the stationary communication well is the first one, it serves to enter cables. Checkpoints are built on straight sections of stretched canals. Corner or branching wells are installed where it is necessary to turn or branch the cable channel.

In the age of communication technologies in the village and city infrastructure, they cannot be dispensed with. They allow you to communicate in the most convenient way. In some cases, it is technically impossible to install a reinforced concrete telephone well, then their plastic counterparts come to replace them, which, of course, are not so durable and strong, but are also in demand, since this is a cheaper material, easier to operate and install. But most builders still prefer traditional materials, I prefer not to save on quality. The service life of such cable wells is practically unlimited, it is guaranteed to be about seventy years.

Telephone wells of communication KKS-1 consist of two parts: the lower special plate of the base of the well and the upper part of the body. They are designed in such a way that during installation a sealed chamber is created without a seam at the junction of the elements of the well. In order to prevent water from entering the telephone well from groundwater, it is also necessary to seal technological openings for pipe inlets hermetically. Also, the design provides stops that prevent the displacement of the two parts of the well relative to each other.

Reinforced concrete manholes of cable ducts KKS-1 G / GEKon are always made with the expectation of use in places with heavy traffic, therefore, they can be used both under roads and in places that do not require increased strength characteristics from the well. This characteristic is indicated in the marking with the designations: 10/80.

Wells KKS-1 and KKS-1M are small type wells, as they have small overall dimensions. At the same time, they can perform the functions of both straight lines and angular and branching ones. This is due to the presence of knock-out niches for entering channels. All unused niches, during installation, must be covered with mortar, up to the level of wall thickness.

Telephone wells KKS-1 and KKS-1m are supplied in two configurations: G - bare and GEKon - with KSO consoles, but without brackets and ruffs. In the upper part of the case there is a hole with a diameter of 600mm for installing and.

Specialized ones are provided for cable communication wells, which differ from standard hatches in their size, load capacity and geometric characteristics. Such hatches have a letter designation on the cover (city telephone network) and are manufactured as and are designated respectively by the letters
