NOVOL BUMPER FIX putty for plastic, bumper (Code:). NOVOL putty, primer, anti-gravel, varnish - Novol putty Bumper Fix - Color Expert - Catalog - Car enamels, primer, putty, materials for car painting Putty on plastic surfaces

Product description
Putty for plastics - a two-component product applied with a spatula.
The first component - the main one - is a dispersion of appropriate fillers and pigments in an unsaturated polyester resin, has a dark gray color.
The second component - hardener - causes polymerization.
Putty is designed to smooth out scratches and depressions before painting. Due to its high elasticity and good adhesion, it is especially recommended for use on plastic surfaces and car parts that are particularly exposed to impacts.

Can be used on the following types of surfaces:
- plastics (excluding PE and PTFE),
- steel,
- aluminum,
- galvanized steel,
- 2-component acrylic primers,
- old varnish coatings.

Attention: Do not apply directly to 1-component acrylic and nitrocellulose products, as well as to reactive primers.

Mode of application
BUMPER FIX putty is intended for application with a spatula. It is superimposed on cleaned, degreased and polished surfaces. Putty is used to fill in bumps and scratches on the surface of the body before painting it. The putty is characterized by high elasticity and good adhesion, therefore it is especially recommended for use on plastic surfaces and for covering parts of the car that are most often subjected to impacts.

Application
Before use, add 2-3% hardener to a measured portion of putty and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency.
Apply in layers up to 3 mm thick, minimum temperature application +10°С.

The putty has good adhesion to most plastics. Only when applying a putty layer with a thickness of more than 1 mm on polypropylene, two additional layers should be applied first:
1) soil increasing adhesion;
2) acrylic primer HS 5+1 or acrylic primer MS 3+1 with an additive that increases elasticity.

The application time from the moment of mixing with the hardener is 5 - 8 minutes. at a temperature of +20°C.

Drying:
Drying time from 30 - 45 min. at a temperature of +20°С. Drying time can be shortened by maintaining +60°C for 10 minutes (not higher!!!)

Grinding:
The surface of the putty can be sanded dry sandpaper.
- first coarse-grained (P120 - P180),
- then fine-grained (P180 - P240).
Wet sanding is not recommended.

BUMPER FIX putty can be applied with:
- putty for application by spraying SPRAY,
- acrylic primers.

When applying subsequent layers (primer, paint) to plastics and areas of the body, especially those subject to impacts, an additive should be used to increase elasticity.

It is recommended to store the putty in a dry and cool place, away from heat sources. Avoid hitting direct sun rays.
Polyester putty is supplied in packages: 0.2 kg; 0.5 kg. General packing are carton boxes which can be placed on euro pallets and protected with foil.
