First, we will prepare the water lily petals. We need 10 large and medium petals, and 5 small petals. Take white foamiran, a large petal and a toothpick. We apply a large, then medium and then the smallest petals and circle them with a toothpick, cut them out.

Now, to give the shape of a “boat”, the petal needs to be placed on the left palm, and with the bent index finger of the right hand, “press” the petal into the palm.

Now take the petal along the edges and gently pull it, pushing through the middle. We carry out this action with all the blanks.

Let's prepare the core. To do this, it is necessary to cut off a strip from the yellow foamiran.

Next, you need to cut this strip with a small fringe, not reaching a little to the edge.

Now let's make a leaf. We take a green foamiran and circle the sheet, cut it out.

In order to give a natural curved shape to the sheet, it is necessary to gather it with an accordion from the round edge and turn it between the palms several times so that the material heats up and slightly wrinkled.

Let's start assembling the flower. We take the yellow fringe and twist it into a tight roll, holding it by the uncut edge. When the roll is ready, we drag it with a thread (we do not cut the thread).

We begin to form a flower: we apply the petals one by one to the core and wrap it with a thread.

How to make a lotus from foamiran:
First we need to prepare templates for making flower petals.
Template No. 1 - height 3.5 cm. width 1.5 cm.
Template No. 2 - height 4.5 cm. width 2 cm.

We circle our templates on foamiran with toothpicks. Petals No. 1 and No. 2 will need 10 parts each, and petals No. 3 3-5 parts. We cut out our blanks for making a flower. We begin to do tinting from the smallest petals. We tint only their tips (about a third of the petal). We also use wet wipes. The wetter the cloth, the brighter the color will be. We tint the smallest petals with an almost dry napkin to give the tips of the petals only a shade of the selected color. IMPORTANT!!! We tint the petals equally on both sides.

We tint the petals according to the principle - more petals - brighter toning. Here you can clearly see a smooth transition from light to a more saturated shade.

Now let's prepare the tinting for the middle of our lotus. We take a dry brown pastel and grind off a little pastel with the edge of a knife.

For the middle of the flower, cut off a yellow foamiran 2.5 cm wide and about 15 cm long (with a margin). We finely cut this strip with a fringe, and then tint it with brown pastel, which we prepared in advance.

To make the middle of the flower, we roll the yellow fom into a ball and fix it with glue. You can use other options, for example: we take the foil and make a ball out of it, and then we fit it with foamiran.

Let's not forget about the leaf of our lotus. We draw it by hand in the size we need, Olga has 8 cm.

Cut out a leaf from a foma according to the template. Olga uses olive fom, but you can also use green. In general, it all depends on the lotus itself, see for yourself. The main thing is that the leaf looks harmonious in color.

Next, we proceed to the processing of the petals. We give shape to the petals: we apply the petal to the heated iron for a few seconds (the petal itself will begin to fall off the iron). Then, holding the unpainted part of the petal, push it with your thumb towards the top of the petal, creating a boat shape. This must be done quickly until the foamiran has cooled down. This is the shape the petal should take.

Here are all the petals ready for making a lotus.

Now we take a leaf of our lotus and make an invoice on it. The invoice can be made using mold. We heat the sheet on the iron and immediately apply it to the mold. Then you need to stroke the leaf with your fingers, lightly pressing it. If you do not have mold, then just heat the sheet on the iron and twist it into an accordion. Then twist with your fingers to give the leaf a more natural look. You can also wrap our leaf in a corrugation and twist it with it. You will definitely get a beautiful texture on the sheet.

Let's start assembling the flower. We take a foma ball and glue it with a finished fringe. Olga uses a second glue, it leaves no traces and seizes instantly. The first row at the very top is glued together in a bundle. We simply glue the second row in a circle, and then twist the fringe a little between the fingers to give it a natural look. Then we begin to glue the petals, first the smallest ones. Each row has five petals. We glue the petals of the second row in the aisle of the first. By the same principle, we glue all the other rows, of which there are five. Total: 2 rows of small petals, 2 rows of medium petals and 1 row of large petals.

- artistic brown pastel.
The direct process of creating a lotus from foamiran:
First stage.
At the first stage of work, it will be necessary to prepare templates. Lotus petals will have three different sizes. For the greatest comfort, it is recommended to draw rectangles with the following dimensions on the surface of the cardboard under the ruler: 3 * 9 centimeters, 2.5 * 7 centimeters and 2 * 6 centimeters. After that, in the created rectangles, you should draw the petals pointed on both sides, and then cut them out.
To create one row of petals, it will be necessary to cut eleven blanks from foma. In total, 33 pieces should turn out.

Second phase.
At the next stage of work, you will need to take the iron, heat it up so that you can give the desired shape to the petals. Then, it will be necessary to put each workpiece on the surface of the iron for only a few seconds, after which it will be necessary to remove the workpiece.
Remember that it is not necessary to overexpose the workpiece on the surface of the iron, otherwise, the product may change its shape!
It is only necessary to ensure that the edges of the petals are slightly wrapped, so that the petal will become voluminous.

Third stage.
At the next stage of work, you will need to take white paint and a brush, and with the help of them you will need to paint over one edge of the petal as shown in the photo below. You need to start painting over with a brush from the sharp end, completely filling the space, and then gradually you will need to shade the whiteness to the middle.

Fourth stage.
At the next stage of work, you should take a yellow fom and make a stamen out of it. To do this, you will need to cut one strip 1.5 * 15 centimeters in size, and the second strip 2 * 15 centimeters in size. Then, you should cut one edge of the strips into a thin fringe, as shown in the photo below.

Fifth stage.
After that, that fringe, which is wider, should be applied to the surface of a hot iron, and then immediately removed. Thanks to this, the fringe will become curled.

Sixth stage.
After that, you will need to roll the thin fringe into a tight roll, and then wrap the wide fringe around this roll. In this case, the fringe should curl outward! It should turn out approximately as shown in the photos below.

Seventh stage.
At the next stage of work, you have to collect the petals into a flower. To do this, first, you should connect the two prepared petals with pink ends, and then evenly distribute all the rest, as shown in the photographs below.

Eighth stage.
It will be necessary to collect all three rows of petals of different sizes, and then fix them by nesting each other. After that, you will need to fix the middle, pressing down until the glue dries completely.

Ninth stage.
At the next stage of work, you will need to fix the created stamen in the center of the flower.

Tenth stage.
Then, you should take a green fom and cut out a leaf of a water lily from it according to the diameter of the lotus. After that, the edges of the cut sheet should be painted with a brown pastel. The saturated color at the edge will need to be gradually shaded inward. Then, you will need to attach the created lotus flower to the finished water lily sheet.

Lotus is called by different names. Sometimes a water lily, sometimes a water lily. We will make a blue lotus from foamiran. foamiran blue, green and yellow;
blue, brown, white and several green shades of oil pastels, as well as a sponge for shading;
clematis mold and universal mold;
blue acrylic paint and a very thin brush;
iron;
glue second;
teip tape;
scissors;
paper napkins;
acrylic glossy varnish;
wire No. 26.28 and 1.2 mm.

We heat the blue petals on the iron and process them on the mold, pushing the texture well.

We also process the green leaves of the sepals.

We tint the top of the petals with blue oil pastels, blending well. We apply tinting on both sides.

The bottom of the petals from the side where the texture is applied is tinted with white oil pastel, shading well.

Then we bend the petals with a boat, lifting the top of the petal.

We tint the edges of the sepal petals on both sides along the edges with red and brown oil pastels. And also we bend the petals with a boat.

We cut the yellow strips of foamiran into small fringes.

We glue a brush from a small strip of fringe.

We take a piece of foil 10 * 10 and form a droplet.

We make a hole at the base of the droplet, take the wire and make a loop on it and insert it into the droplet and drip glue into the hole to fix the wire.

We take a piece of yellow foamiran and glue a drop on top of the drop, glue a brush.

Then we glue the second strip of fringe, gluing it just below the tassel.

We cut the stamens from yellow foamiran pieces 70. We apply brown oil pastel toning to the middle of the stamen on both sides. The edge of the stamens is tinted with blue oil pastel.

Then fold the stamens in half and rub a little between the fingers.

We begin to glue the stamens around the droplet in a circle, next to one another.

The second row with glue between the stamens of the first row and the third if necessary.

Then glue the blue petals in a circle.

The second row is staggered, between the petals of the first row. The third row is between the petals of the second row.

Then we take paper napkins and process the stem of the lily. At the base, making it thicker. After that, we process the stem with teip tape at a time, since we will still be attaching the leaves.

We take blue acrylic paint and with a thin brush we tint the tips of the stamens.

We take the leaves of the sepals and glue them in a circle slightly placing them on the stem.

Then we cut out leaves for a water lily from green foamiran. In general, the leaves of such a lily reach a diameter of up to 25 cm. But the way I make a lily for a composition, I take the leaves with a diameter of 8 * 10 cm. Apply the texture to the leaves with a stick.

We apply tinting on the leaves on both sides, using oil pastels in several shades of green pastel and brown.

Then we take litons 10 cm and glue them to the leaves.

We process lithons with teip tape.

To make our leaves look more alive, we will process the edges of the leaves on the iron giving them waves, that is, we will pull the edges a little after heating.
