Steel insulated double doors GOST. State standard for entrance door systems made of metal

Only by manufacturing and installing metal doors in accordance with GOST, you can be sure of their quality. After all, the main qualities that doors should have are reliability, structural strength and the fulfillment of its functional purpose. That's why metal doors must correspond state standards quality, established and enshrined in GOST. GOST is a developed system of rules and recommendations for the manufacture and installation of doors, as well as the features of using models.

Basic standards

All the basic requirements for metal doors are described in detail in GOST 31173 2003. The document clearly indicates the permissible strength, air tightness, sound insulation, water resistance and burglary resistance. Also, GOST for steel doors prescribes the main dimensions of doors and the types of their correspondence to doorways.

The document differentiates the types of doors according to several protection classes:

  1. Models equipped with protection class 1 are guaranteed not to be knocked out with a shoulder or foot without the use of additional means.
  2. Instances of class 2 cannot be hacked with tools that are available on the farm (screwdriver, pliers, etc.)
  3. Class 3 model is resistant to penetration attempts with heavy household and electric tools household purposes (axe, hammer, chisel, drill, grinder, etc.)
  4. Class 4 are doors that have bulletproof protection.

The technical requirements of the door are divided in detail according to the following criteria:

  • Strength is divided into three classes: M1, M2 and M3, among which the most durable class is M1.
  • Opening can be done from the inside to the outside and vice versa. The rules for installing exterior and interior doors may differ slightly. For example, models that open outward are not recommended for installation in rooms where there is not enough space to fully open the door.
  • The number of door panels distinguishes models by type of construction. The most common are single-leaf and double-leaf specimens.
  • The method of design and arrangement of the door frame. The box may be closed or have U-shape, it can also be equipped with a threshold. Each type has its own standards.

Metal doors are divided into external doors and doors for interior spaces. The former include models that separate the internal and external spaces of buildings, the latter - those that do not interact with the external environment.

outdoor models

GOST 24698-81 for metal doors contains a set of solutions for installing outdoor models. The document includes rules and standards for strength, resistance to influences external environment, equipment and painting features:

  • The strength classes correspond to the interior door classes: M1, M2 and M3.
  • Painting. The door must be covered powder paint. It is possible to paint the door at the factory, however, it is acceptable that an additional one is required.
  • Equipment. According to state standards, external doors must be equipped by default with a lock, hinges for fastening, door frame and canvas, as well as platbands.

Certification

It is quite logical that in the manufacture of doors, especially when it comes to metal entrance structures, certain standards should be taken into account.

And there are such standards: these are GOSTs. They regulate the quality indicators that the best steel exterior doors must meet.

As you know, all metal exterior doors are stronger and safer than metal-plastic or wooden ones. But at the same time, these steel structures differ significantly from each other.

When evaluating the quality features metal products take into account the following criteria:

  1. Burglar resistance design.
  2. Fire safety, as well as indicators of heat and sound insulation.
  3. Reliability of the design (its protection against breakdowns, operational period, etc.).
  4. Aesthetic characteristics.

All these requirements are reflected in the current standards.

So, GOST 31173-2003 regulates the division of metal doors equipped with locking mechanisms into several classes. Differentiation is carried out taking into account the compliance of products with certain quality indicators. Metal-plastic door blocks are illuminated by GOST 30970-2002.

Burglary resistance

The current GOST establishes that all steel entrance doors are conditionally divided into four groups (armored blocks are also differentiated into 4 groups). In this case, the belonging of the product to one or another group is determined by the coefficient of resistance of the structure to burglary.

For representatives of the first three groups, the thickness of the steel must be at least 8 mm. For paintings of the fourth group, the thickness of the metal should be 8-12 mm. Moreover, all these external structures are insulated.

Should be used as a heater mineral wool or foam.

Load resistance

GOST 31173-2003 conditionally divides all entrance steel doors into three classes according to the resistance to static load: M1, M2 and M3. At the same time, entrance structures of class M1 are considered the most durable. According to the standard 31173-2003, the frame of such door leaf It has 8-9 stiffening ribs, and the thickness of the steel sheet sheathing is 3-4mm.

At the same time, GOST 5089-97 regulates the choice of locking mechanisms for input steel structures.

In accordance with this standard, all locks and latches are divided into four classes:

  1. Locks, which are characterized by low resistance to breaking.
  2. Security mechanisms, the strength of which is below average. As a rule, without a key they can be opened in 3-5 minutes.
  3. Locks of medium strength. On average, they take up to 10 minutes to crack.
  4. Lock mechanisms with high strength and protective properties. To open them, an attacker may need about half an hour.

Given all this, GOST 31173-2003 regulates the installation of class 3-4 locking mechanisms on external metal doors belonging to classes M2 and M3. But it is advisable to install the most durable locks on the entrance insulated structures of class M1.

Fire resistance

The main function of such a product is to prevent the spread of fire and smoke. The interval of this protection ranges from 15 minutes to 2 hours. More often input fire doors metal, less often - wooden, but not metal-plastic (with high temperature polyvinyl chloride melts, releasing harmful volatile compounds).

Metal fire-fighting products, as a rule, are made of steel (it is this material that meets all safety requirements), and lock mechanisms and other fittings are made of refractory alloys, for example, molybdenum alloy. In addition, such doors are insulated: basalt wool is used as a filler.

Additional features

Properly selected hinges for external insulated doors will not only increase the period of operation of the product, but also make the unit more functional.

The current GOST determines that the following hinges can be used for steel blocks:

  • hidden;
  • screw-in ( perfect option if the web weight is less than 100 kg);
  • mortise;
  • invoices;
  • combined.

According to current regulations, if the weight of the door leaf is more than 150 kg, three hinges must be installed.

As for the parameters, the standard canvas has a width of 800-900 mm and a height of 2000-2100 mm. Most manufacturers adhere to this GOST. At custom sizes blocks, the problem is solved by an individual order.

Thus, modern units that comply with current standards - complex systems, in which advanced technical solutions are combined. They are a reliable barrier to uninvited guests.
