New Year's candle "Christmas tree". Master Class. From what and how to make a Christmas tree for the New Year (53 photos) Beautiful carved candles with your own hands: forms

How nice it is to surround yourself with things that keep the warmth of human hands! This is especially true when store shelves are littered with Chinese consumer goods and fakes for world brands.

Prepare for work:

Candle stubs or paraffin;

Wax pencils - we will use them as a dye, they melt wonderfully. Instead of wax pencils, food coloring, oil paint may be suitable;

Wick or thick cotton thread (you can weave a pigtail from floss);

Thick glossy paper;

Scissors;

Stick, pencil, brush;

Bank - 2 pcs.;

Beads, beads;

Pot with water.

Grind the cinders of candles and put them in a jar or tin, crumble a green wax pencil there, it is better to rub it on a grater. Place the jar of wax on water bath and completely melt the contents.

Roll up a glossy sheet, it can be a magazine cover, thread the wick through the middle. Fix the sheet upside down in a glass or jar, and fix the wick in the center with a wooden stick. Now it remains to pour paraffin and wait for the candle to harden.

We take out the candle and do the decor. Set the candle on the cardboard and secure with glue or a carnation (stick it through the cardboard into the candle from below). Do not forget to trim the base of the Christmas tree, it will probably turn out to be beveled. Cut off the excess wick.

Once, on the Internet, I came across an idea on how you can make your own New Year's candle, utilizing all the remnants of the candles that you have at home. Since we have accumulated a lot of these, I decided to make a candle on New Year's table. I share the idea with you. Here we will make such a Christmas tree candle

To make a candle, we need:
- the remains of candles, various cinders, the color does not matter;
- green wax pencil as a dye;
- thread for the wick, I used floss thread twisted in several layers. You can use any dense cotton thread or remove the wick from a candle that will be melted down;
- scissors, adhesive tape, PVA glue, tailor's pins, tweezers;
- thick magazine sheet (cover);
- 2 glass jars;
- a pot of water;
- wooden stick for stirring;
- cardboard;
- decor (beads, cones).

So let's get started. To begin with, collect all the candle ends, as I already wrote, the color does not matter. I had a lot of leftover candles from the cake, so they went into action.

I also added one old burnt candle, which has already lost its appearance. Putting it all in glass jar, put it in a pot of boiling water (water bath), and over low heat, wait for all the candle cinders to melt. There we also add a little (a piece of a couple of centimeters) of grated green wax pencil. Stir the mixture periodically.

While the mixture is melting, prepare the mold. To do this, we twist the magazine sheet with a bag and fasten it with tape. We pass the wick through the hole in the cone through, fix it with a knot. We put the cone in the jar. I put a piece of foil at the bottom of the jar so that the paraffin that leaks out does not spoil the jar. Pour the paraffin mixture into the mold. Pour carefully, as the bottom will contain pieces of wicks, paint and sparkles from the candles that we melted down. We attach the end of the wick to a wooden stick. Leave to dry completely at room temperature.

When the paraffin has completely hardened, remove the form, if necessary, trim the edges with a knife. Cut off the excess piece of the wick.
It turns out here is such a paraffin cone

Let's start decorating. First you need to make a cardboard substrate, cut out a circle with a diameter slightly larger than the base of our Christmas tree. I melted the bottom of the Christmas tree over the fire and put it on a substrate, so it stuck well.

Then we attach cones to the base. At first I tried to just put them on PVA. The number did not pass. Then I took tailor's pins, stuck a pin into each cone, then holding it over the flame of a candle, made it hot and inserted it into the candle. Now the cones are holding perfectly and will not go anywhere.
Next, we take the beads, clamp them with tweezers, heat them over the fire and fasten them arbitrarily throughout the candle.
It turns out such a beauty.

That's all, christmas candle"Yolochka" is ready. Let's burn and enjoy!
Happy New Year to you!
