How to make money typewriter. Mk. DIY money printing machine DIY money printing machine

Have you ever wondered how to copy a newspaper article without using a printer or scanner?Well, if the power suddenly goes out and all your modern equipment is useless, and you really need to make a photocopy, then you might need an old-fashioned printing press. With this type of activity

Poisonous materials are used, so children will need the help of an adult.

To make a printing press, you need

  • Glass of water
  • Half a cup of turpentine
  • Several shots of dishwashing liquid
  • Glass jar
  • tassel
  • plastic sheet
  • Several sheets of A4 paper
  • Wooden board larger than A4 paper

How to make your own printing press

  1. First, in a jar, mix water, turpentine and dishwashing detergent. This will be the ink for your printing press.
  2. Now you need to put the newspaper (which you are going to copy) on top of a sheet of plastic that is laid out on a flat surface, such as a hard floor.
  3. Apply homemade ink to the newspaper with a brush.
  4. Lay a piece of A4 paper on top of the newspaper, then lay it on top. Don't move the board or you'll smudge the ink underneath.
  5. Press down on the board with something heavy (for example, your body).
  6. Remove and take a piece of A4 paper. You should have had an inverted copy of the newspaper article on your piece of paper.
  7. To make an upside-down copy of this page, you need to dry it.
  8. Now, instead of the original newspaper, use your reverse copy and repeat the whole process (smear it on top with ink, then a sheet of A4 paper and wooden plank above).
  9. When you turn up the A4 page again, you will have a copy of your original newspaper article!

Of course, this product most likely looks more like a copier than a printing press. But, the essence remains the same: you can save a copy of any document, newspaper, without the participation of a modern technological equipment and electricity.

An original, and most importantly, “necessary” gift for a wedding can be a money typewriter. Such a little thing will undoubtedly arouse the interest of both the guests and the newlyweds themselves, and will become the most original gift. Some, believing in the miracle of creation, will even envy the newlyweds.

We gave such a typewriter to my brother for a wedding, and many people asked how to make the same one. We will tell you how, since it is more difficult to find it in stores than to make it yourself. Of course, one cannot do without male help here. detailed photos Unfortunately not, I will try to explain clearly.

We will need:

- a board 7-10 cm wide, ~ 15 cm long (base) - 1 pc.

- a bar or board 3-4 cm wide, 7-8 cm long (supports) - 2 pcs.

- wire 35-40 cm.

- plastic pipe, any diameter, 8 cm long - 2 pcs.

- fabric or tape 7-8 cm wide. The length depends on the number of banknotes plus two diameters of a plastic pipe - 1 pc.

- glue or tape

- screws 16 mm.

- drill driver

- a drill with a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the wire

- pliers

- brush

- stain.

1. Let's start with the preparation of future shafts. For this in plastic pipes insert wooden dowels from both ends. Next, we drill holes in them with a drill.

2. We prepare the supports for the shafts. In each board, you need to make two holes, one through, the other not, so that it is beautiful.

To do this, we lay boards 4 cm wide on top of each other and drill holes. We drill the first hole on the first board through, the second not completely, then we turn the boards over and on the second board we drill the first hole not through, but the second through.

The distance between the holes depends on the diameter of the selected pipes and the thickness of the material in which you will wrap the money.

3. The next step is to install the shafts on the supports.

Let's make levers. To do this, we bend one wire in the form of the letter G (the length to the bend is equal to the distance between the supports plus the width of the support). We install the wire in the lower through hole, then thread it through the shaft, and insert it into another support in a non-through hole.

We first bend the second wire in the same way as the first one, thread it in the same way as the first one from the upper through hole, then bend the free end of the wire so that it is convenient to turn the handle of the machine.

4. We cover the money printing machine with stain or varnish.

After we glued it, we wind the tape on the lower shaft along with the bills.

6. Glue stickers to our typewriter money, in order to make it clear which way to turn, where to insert the papers and where to expect money from.

Everything is ready! You can show to give your souvenir, and surprise people.

If you have any questions, write comments, we will definitely answer. If you like the idea, press the button to tell your friends in social network and you yourself will not lose it and it will be interesting for friends to read.

See how this machine works.

« money machine» has nothing to do with real printing presses!
But as a cool gift for April 1, anniversary or wedding, it will do great!
And also - this is a wonderful replacement for faceless envelopes, in which it is customary to make cash gifts.
The invention is not mine.
I just want to show how I did this monetary machine in the technique of "sweet design".
(To understand how the machine works, you can look at here.)

Dimensions: 25 cm x 14 cm x 22 cm

For the manufacture of money machine we need :
- thermal gun and glue for the thermal gun - 8 pcs.
- glue "Moment-Crystal"
- cardboard tube from cling film 28-30 cm long
- cardboard (thickness 2 mm) - a piece of about 10 cm x10 cm
- penoplex (2 cm thick) - 12 (15) cm x 33 (40) cm
– corrugated paper brown – approx. 1.5 m
- gold lace "Chanel" - approx. 4 m
- canvas fabric (in my case - "two-thread") - 14 cm X to the desired length,
which depends on the number of enclosed banknotes (in my case - 1.5 meters)
— chocolate coins — from 6 pcs.
- toothpicks - 12 pcs.
- gerbera wire 40 cm long - 16 pcs.
- thin wire (such as beaded) - approx. 40 cm
- gold teip tape (can be replaced with gold corrugated paper)
- a narrow medical patch.

1. From the cardboard tube on which it was wound cling film, saw off two pieces about 14 cm long.

2. Then, on thick cardboard, we outline circles

Cut them out and mark the hole in the center.

3. Paste these circles into cardboard tubes.

4. From the foam we cut blanks for the machine and the stand for it:
- a rectangle 15 cm x 6 cm - 2 pieces, for the side walls of the machine;

- rectangle 18 cm x 6 cm - 2 pieces, for the upper and lower bases of the machine

- rectangle 25 cm x 13 cm - 1 piece, for the base of the machine

5. On the blanks for the side walls, we make markings.
When placing the circles, you need to take into account the thickness of your fabric money ribbon.
(If you make the drums very close to each other, then there will simply be nowhere for the fabric to fit.
That's how it happened to me.
The 1.5 m tape created a “good” thickness on the drum”
I had to redo the details, starting from this moment and place the circles at a small distance from each other)
On each of the blanks in one of the circles we make a through hole (these will be holes for the handles),
in the other - up to the middle of the thickness of the foam.

6. Making handles.
For this, I used 40 cm long gerbera wire.
(If you have the right thickness of wire, you're in luck!
Proceed to next step)
Each pen has 8 pieces.
With the help of nippers, I made blanks
- for a long handle - 30 cm each,
- for short - 24 cm each

I wind these blanks in 8 pieces using a medical plaster.
This will help give additional thickness and the wires fit well together.

7. Wrap blanks for pens with gold teip tape.
If you don’t have one, then you can use golden corrugated paper
cut off (along the stretching side) a strip 1 cm wide and wrap the workpieces with it.

8. corrugated paper glue 4 faces of the workpiece for the side walls.
Do not forget to make the holes that you marked on the foam in step number 5.

Cut off the excess paper.

9. We glue (optional) blanks from the tube.
We glue the edges of the paper "butt" so that it is easier for the "money" to "drive" along the drum 🙂
You can not paste over with paper, because. further, these drums are pasted over with a cloth.
(I did this for insurance: suddenly somewhere the fabric will move away.
Well, the perfectionist lives in me :-))

10. We insert the handle into the hole in the side wall, put a cardboard tube on it and bend the handle as we see fit.

11. Important! The handle should rotate with the tube, and not scroll through it.
To do this, wrap a thin (possibly beaded) wire around the pin that protruded from the drum after the handle was inserted.
We fix and glue the ends of the wire to the cardboard.
For accuracy. I used metal washers
(I found it with my husband in the tools, and I don’t know how to call it correctly),
to close the wire and give this place "smoothness".

To be honest, this stage was the most difficult for me!

11. We glue over the entire area the upper, lower bases of the machine and the base stand.

12. We collect side walls with drums in between

13. We insert toothpicks into the side walls.
(I do this so that the details of the side walls are more securely fastened to the upper and lower bases)

14. We assemble our machine.

15. For a two-thread fabric money ribbon, I cut out a strip 14 cm wide (see the length of the drum tubes) and overcast the edges with a zigzag stitch.
The length of your tape will determine how many bills you can fill in the machine.
(At this stage, I made a small calculation for 500 UAH: I multiplied the length of the 50-hryvnia bill by 10 (pieces) and got the length of the desired ribbon.)

Lubricate one edge of the finished tape with Moment glue, let it “stand” a little and glue it to the upper drum
(this is the one with the long handle)

For convenience, we wind the tape on the upper drum

16. We stretch the end of the tape under the lower drum.

Apply glue to the lower drum and glue the end of the tape to the drum.

The tape should be inserted in a figure-of-eight pattern.

17. Using toothpicks and hot glue, we attach the machine to the base stand.
Decorate money machine using a Chanel-type braid, gluing it to the hot glue

(I additionally made thickenings on the handles from the same braid)

18. We print on a color printer or on photo paper the inscriptions:
- "money"
- "paper"
- "start"
- "the finish"
- "settings"
- "money" + an arrow with the direction where to turn the knob
(I made the inscriptions in Photoshop and handed it over to the photo studio, where they printed out a photo of 9 cm x 13 cm for me, on which the inscriptions I needed were placed)

19. We use chocolate coins for decoration.
(I glue the coins like this:
- I stick it on a coin Double-sided tape;
- I remove the protective layer of adhesive tape and glue a piece of cardboard on it;
- I put hot glue on the cardboard;
- I stick a coin in the place where I see fit).

(I thought about decorating with chocolate bars somehow, but at the “family council” they decided that
« money machine— the device is serious, and excessive decor will only distract from the main mechanism :-)”.
You decide for yourself: to decorate the machine with something else, or not)

20. Glue stickers as follows.
(I glued with the help of "Moment")
Above the short handle (turns the lower drum) we glue the “SETTINGS” sticker.

Above the long handle we glue the sticker "MONEY + arrow"

On the lower drum at the very end of the tape we glue the sticker "FINISH"

On the upper drum, at the very beginning of the tape, glue the START sticker.

Below, on the side where the money will come out, we glue the sticker "MONEY".

And on the side from which we will feed the paper, we glue the sticker "PAPER".

All, money machine ready, it remains only to fill it.

20. We rewind the entire tape onto the upper drum, up to the “FINISH” sticker.
We take a bill, insert it between the reels and start turning the small “SETTINGS” knob.
Thus, the banknote is twisted between the tape, onto the lower drum.

So we fill all the banknotes up to the “START” sticker.

After all banknotes are tucked into money machine, we take paper, insert it on the other side between the rollers, turn the handle with a long handle.

So the paper begins to twist, between the tape on the upper drum, and on the other hand, the banknote already filled by us comes out.

Everything, our machine for money ready and loaded!
"Print money" with this cool gift "Money Machine" anyone can.
Be careful: some people believe this illusion very strongly!

I wish you inspiration and creative success!

P.S. Dear Masters!
If you want your work on my master classes to be seen as much as possible more people, and I will certainly tell about it in my "Workshop".
At the same time, I will definitely give links to your pages in social networks or sites!

How about making your own money printing machine? I suppose that in case it's just a joke as a gift. But you shouldn’t mess with a real machine (it’s still a criminal offense), it’s better that we get the money ourselves!

I noticed an excellent idea for a joke gift on the HOBBIN HOUSE website. Below is a video of the finished machine in operation and outlined detailed wizard class, how to make this machine:

I want to show you how to make a machine for money with my own hands. It doesn’t have anything non-specialized with real printing presses, but as a cool present for your friends on April 1 or a wedding, it will fit perfectly. The invention is of course not mine, I just want to demonstrate how I made this machine.

Such a machine for money, at the moment it is possible to purchase at any joke store or online for 500 rubles. But in my case, they ended in the store, and there was no time to order via the Internet, so I had to do it myself in order to have time to give friends for the anniversary.

For the manufacture of a machine for money, we need:

Wood boards, hot glue, thick and narrow wire, cardboard tubes, self-tapping screws and film for gift wrapping.

We start, from the wood board we saw off two pieces of a long 15 cm and one long 20 cm. We perfectly sand the edges of the cut. so that they are even.

From a cardboard tube (in stores, an oilcloth is wound on them, which is sold in meters), we saw off two pieces about 14 cm long. After that. on thick cardboard we outline circles.

Cut out these circles and glue them with hot glue, two pieces each.

Now we glue these circles into cardboard tubes. On each side of the tube, we outline a hole in the center. On the boards we mark and drill holes for the handles.

On the top board, the right hole should be drilled all the way. And the left hole must be drilled to the middle of the board, so that otherwise there would be no hole in the board. On the bottom board, do the opposite.

The right hole is drilled to the middle of the board, and the left hole is drilled completely.

We make two handles from thick wire, one with a long handle, and the other with a small one. We insert the handle into the hole in the board, put on it a domestic cardboard blank. We fix it with a narrow wire and glue the ends of the wire to the cardboard, this is necessary so that. the drum spun along with the handle and held perfectly on it ..

This is what we should end up with, one drum is dressed on a board and a handle with a small handle, and the second on a board and a handle with

long handle. On a board 20 cm long, we outline the places where we will fasten the planks with drums.

We assemble a domestic machine, fix everything on self-tapping screws. And without that, it should turn out. We cover everything with stain.

Glue a piece of suede to the base in order to close the attachment points. Along the edges, glue the decorative braid.

Now it remains for us to fill the tape into the domestic machine for money. We take an excellent film for wrapping gifts and cut a ribbon 14 cm wide from it. How many bills you can fill in the machine will depend on the debt of your ribbon.

We insert the end of the tape between the drums and stretch it under the lower drum.

Apply glue to the lower drum and glue the finish of the tape to the drum. Since, the tape is wound on the drums with different sides outward. The sides of the tape have different color, which enhances the illusion of independence of the rollers.

We wind the entire tape on the lower drum, and glue the remaining free end of the tape to the upper drum. In the end it should be. the upper drum is gold. the lower drum is silver. The tape is tucked in according to the figure-of-eight principle.

We print the stickers we need, on the lower drum at the very finish of the tape, on the adhesive tape we glue the FINISH sticker

On the upper drum, at the very beginning of the tape, glue the START sticker. On the side above the handle with a long handle, glue the sticker MONEY

Otherwise, above the handle with a small handle, glue the SETTINGS sticker. At the bottom, on the side from where the money will come out, glue the MONEY sticker. And find the side from which we will feed the paper, glue the PAPER sticker.

All the machine is ready, it remains only to refuel it.

We rewind the entire tape on the upper drum, to the FINISH sticker. We take a banknote, insert it between the drums and start turning the fine tuning knob. So, the bill is twisted between the tape, on the lower drum. So, we fill all the banknotes to the START sticker.

At the end of how all the bills are tucked into the machine for money. We take paper, insert it differently between the rollers, turn the handle with a long handle. So the paper begins to twist, between the tape on the upper drum, otherwise, the banknote already filled by us comes out.

Everything, the domestic machine for money is ready and filled. As you can see, everything is very easy. Anyone can “print money” with the help of a cool gift “Financial machine”. Be careful: some strongly believe this illusion. "Financial machine" is a good present for the first of April, for the New Year, for a wedding, etc.

And, an excellent replacement for the faceless envelopes in which it is customary to make financial gifts.

To make a machine for money, we need:

Wooden boards, hot glue, thick and thin wire, cardboard tubes, self-tapping screws and film for gift wrapping.

We start, from a wooden plank we saw off two pieces 15 cm long and one 20 cm long. We sand the edges of the cut well so that they are smooth.

From a cardboard tube (in stores, an oilcloth is wound on them, which is sold in meters), we saw off two pieces about 14 cm long. Then, we outline circles on thick cardboard.

On the bottom board, do the opposite. The right hole is drilled to the middle of the board, and the left hole is drilled through.

We make two handles from thick wire, one with a long handle and the other with a short one. We insert the pen into the hole in the board, put our cardboard blank on it. fine wire we fix it and glue the ends of the wire to the cardboard, this is necessary in order for the drum to spin along with the handle and hold it well ..

This is what we should end up with, one drum is dressed on a board and a handle with a short handle, and the second on a board and a handle with a long handle. On a board 20 cm long, we outline the places where we will fasten the planks with drums.

We assemble our machine, fix everything on self-tapping screws. This is how it should turn out. We cover everything with stain.

Glue a piece of suede to the base to cover the attachment points. Along the edges, glue the decorative braid.

Now it remains for us to fill the ribbon into our machine for money. We take a beautiful film for wrapping gifts and cut a 14 cm wide ribbon from it. How many bills you can fill into the machine will depend on the length of your ribbon.

We insert the end of the tape between the drums and stretch it under the lower drum.

Apply glue to the lower drum and glue the end of the tape to the drum. Since the tape is wound on drums different sides out. The sides of the tape have different colour, which enhances the illusion of independence of the rollers.

We wind the entire tape on the lower drum, and glue the remaining free end of the tape to the upper drum. The result should be: the upper drum is gold, the lower drum is silver. The tape is inserted in a figure-of-eight pattern.

We print the stickers we need, on the lower drum at the very end of the tape, on the adhesive tape we glue the sticker "FINISH"

On the upper drum, at the very beginning of the tape, glue the sticker "START". On the side above the handle with a long handle, glue the sticker "MONEY"

On the other hand, above the handle with a short handle, glue the "SETTING" sticker. At the bottom, on the side where the money will come out, glue the "MONEY" sticker.
