The hidden “VALET” button allows you to disable the system if you cannot disarm the system from the transmitter (if the transmitter is lost, forgotten or not functioning). For emergency shutdown of the system using the “VALET” button, you need to know the personal code of your system. Factory setting "11".
- Open the door (the system will work, the siren will turn on and the parking lights will start flashing).
- Turn on the ignition.
- At the end of 8 sec. The LED will light up for 2 seconds, this indicates that the system is ready to enter the first digit of the personal code. As soon as the LED starts flashing again, count the number of flashes corresponding to the first digit of the code and turn off the ignition.
- To enter the second digit of the personal code Switch on the ignition, the LED will flash. Count the number of LED flashes corresponding to the second digit of the personal code.
- Switch off the ignition. The siren will turn off, the marker lights will stop flashing, you will hear 4 short beeps of the siren. You can now start your car.
Change of personal code
In the PHARAON SCS-5000 PIN system, you can change the personal code for the emergency disarming of the system. The code must consist of two digits from "1" to "9".
ATTENTION! To enter a new personal code, it is necessary to know the previous personal code, if the previous personal code differs from the one set at the factory ( Factory setting "11") and you do not know it, entering a new code will not be possible. To restore the factory settings, contact the service center.
ATTENTION! The maximum time allotted for the execution of each item is limited to 8 seconds. Before changing the personal code, read the procedure in full and strictly follow the described procedure.
The procedure for changing the personal code consists of two stages:
STAGE 1. Entering a previously set code

- The LED will turn solid, indicating that the system is in “VALET” mode.
- Turn off the ignition
To exit the “VALET” mode, repeat the above steps from step 3.
Note: When the system is in Valet mode, you can remotely turn on the “Panic” mode and control the locking / unlocking of the door locks as usual.
PANIC mode
Remote activation of the “Panic” mode
Click Button 1 and Button 2 transmitter at the same time to activate the Panic mode. Siren, parking lights, pager output will turn on for 30 seconds.
To exit Panic mode, press Button 1 or Button 2 transmitter.
Vehicle search mode.
When your car is parked and you are having trouble finding it, the search mode comes in handy. If you click on Button 1 key fob, when your car is alarmed, the siren will sound once, the side lights will turn on 10 times. In the case when there is no need for sound confirmation, press button 3, the siren will not sound, and the parking lights will turn on 10 times. If you want to stop this function, press Button 2.
Remote trunk release
If your car is equipped with an electric tailgate lock, you can remotely open it from the transmitter. To do this, click Button 2 and Button 3 transmitter when the security is disarmed, and a low-level signal will appear at the control output of the additional device (purple wire).
Remote unlocking and locking of door locks, with the ignition on
While the car is moving, you have the opportunity to unlock or lock the door locks remotely using the key fob. To lock the locks - short press Button 1 key fob. To unlock the locks - short press Button 2 key fob.
The operation of the shock sensor.
If your car is lightly hit or pushed, the siren will give a one second warning signal, if the impact is more severe, then the siren will turn on for 30 seconds, the parking lights will flash for 30 seconds. If the system was armed silently, then when the shock sensor is triggered by a strong impact, the siren will not turn on, but the side lights will flash for 30 seconds. The warning signal, with a weak impact, will be the same as when arming with confirmation siren signals.
Operation of the additional sensor.
The PHARAON SCS-5000 PIN system has a 3-pin C2 connector for connecting an additional single-zone sensor.
Pin assignment of connector C2 (from left to right):
- Input negative trigger.
- Mass for the sensor.
- Power supply for the sensor + 12V.
If a low level signal appears on pin 1 of connector C2 when the system is armed. Siren and pager output (if installed) will turn on for 30 seconds, parking lights will flash for 30 seconds.
Voltage drop sensor
The PHARAON SCS-5000 SMT system has the ability to monitor the connection of additional loads to the car's on-board network (an attempt to start the engine, turn on audio equipment, interior lighting, etc.).
The presence of this function in the system is determined by the position of jumper JP5.
The reliability of this function depends on the characteristics of the car's electrical network and the place where the power supply of the system's processor unit is connected. The sensor begins to feel the connection of a load with a power of at least 3 W (400 mA) to the circuit to which the system power is connected (red wire).
To disable this function, disconnect connector C1, remove jumper JP1 on the main unit of the system, and then reconnect this connector. (See the table of programmable functions).
Selecting the duration of the impulse to control the central lock (0.5 or 3.5 sec.)
In cars with an electro-pneumatic central locking system (AUDI, MERCEDES cars), an increase in the duration of the central lock control pulse is required. To increase the duration of the control pulse, disconnect connector C1, remove jumper JP2 on the main unit of the system, and then reconnect this connector. (See the table of programmable functions).
ATTENTION!
Incorrect selection of the duration of the control pulse can lead to failure of the central locking mechanism. Connection to the central lock and programming of this function is possible only in specialized installation centers, by masters with the necessary qualifications.
Automatic arming
After turning off the ignition and closing the door, the system will automatically arm itself in 30 seconds, the countdown of the automatic arming timer can be seen by the accelerated blinking of the LED. If the door, hood, trunk was opened during the 30 second countdown, automatic arming will not occur.
To disable this function, disconnect connector C1, remove jumper JP3 on the main unit of the system, and then reconnect this connector. (See the table of programmable functions).
Automatic unlocking and locking of door locks when the ignition is turned on and off
For your safety while driving, the PHARAON SCS-5000 PIN system has a programmable function for locking the door locks 15 seconds after the ignition is turned on and unlocking the door locks immediately after the ignition is turned off. Jumper JP4 is responsible for disabling this function.
To disable this function, disconnect connector C1, remove jumper JP4 on the main unit of the system, and then reconnect this connector. (See the table of programmable functions).
"Anti-Hi-Jack" function.
Turn the ignition key to the ON position. and close all doors, press and hold for 2 seconds Button 3 key fob. Thus, you activate the "Anti-HiJack" mode. The mode will be indicated by a slow flashing of the LED.
Now, opening any of the doors, or turning the ignition off and then on, starts the anti-HiJack mode timer, which can be seen by the rapid flashing of the LED, turning the ignition off does not stop the Anti-HiJack mode timer. After a 30 second time interval, the system will warn you with a two-second siren signal that the engine of the machine will soon be turned off and (or) the starter will be blocked, and after another 20 seconds, the blocking functions will be implemented and the siren and light alarm will turn on for 30 seconds.
You can stop the countdown timer before the activation of the "Anti-HiJack" mode, you can hold it for a long time (2 sec.) Buttons 3 key fob.
You can stop the "Anti-HiJack" function by holding it for a long time (2 sec.) Buttons 3 key fob. When the countdown timer is not running before the activation of the "Anti-HiJack" mode.
ATTENTION! After the car engine is blocked, as a result of the "Anti-HiJack" function, the system will switch to the armed mode, however, the control of the system with the key fob will be temporarily disabled. To disarm the system, in this case, it is possible only through the algorithm of emergency disarming of the system using the "VALET" button.
To exclude the "Anti-HiJack" mode, it is necessary to disconnect the C1 connector of the system, remove the jumper JP5 on the main unit of the system, and then reconnect this connector. (See the table of programmable functions).
