Sheriff zx 700 Operating Instructions Standard System Features

Security automotive system with two-way communication, it is completed with two key fobs - a compact three-button and a four-button one with a multifunctional LED indicator. The transmission range of the key fob alarm is 100 m, and the alarm key fob is 500 m. An additional four-button key fob has a range of 30 m. KeeLoq (Super KeeLoq Pro II) has been released - protection against interception and code selection. The system has a full standard set of security and alarm functions. Six additional reprogrammable channels allow the flexibility to form a control system for additional electrical devices car and build customized anti-theft schemes.

Description SHERIFF ZX-700:
The security car system with two-way communication is equipped with two key fobs - a compact three-button one and a four-button one with a multifunctional LED indicator. Instruction

Protection of the car in the armed mode with the engine running
Opening the hood, trunk or door of the vehicle will immediately activate the system and activate the alarm. All blocking circuits will turn on. The siren will sound and flash for 30 seconds. parking lights car. After that, the sounding of the siren and the flashing of the side lights will stop, and the system will continue to monitor all security circuits of the car. If a burglar or thief left the door
indoor, the siren will sound for six 30 second cycles and then turn off;
this protection zone will be isolated, and the system will continue to monitor the rest of the vehicle's protection circuits.
The LED indicator will start flashing slowly. At each operation Sheriff systems ZX-700 vehicle side lights flash for the entire 30 second alarm cycle to draw attention to the vehicle.
Passive (automatic) arming of the Sheriff ZX-700 system
1. Turn off the engine, get out of the car, close all doors, hood and trunk.
2. The LED indicator will blink rapidly, indicating that the 30 second passive arming timer has started.
3. After 30 seconds, the system will arm.
4. Vehicle side lights will flash once.
5. The siren will give one short confirmation beep.
If there is an additional circuit for locking/unlocking the door locks and the programmable function F23 (locking the door locks during automatic arming) is enabled, then the car doors will be locked.
Note.
If a car door, hood or trunk is opened while the passive arming timer is running, the Sheriff ZX-700 passive arming timer will be suspended. When all doors, hood, trunk are closed, the system will start the passive arming cycle from the beginning. At the end of the 30-second time interval, the armed mode will turn on.
Vehicle Break-In Warning Signals
If an attempt was made to break into the vehicle while you were away, security system will inform you about it.
When the Sheriff ZX-700 system is disarmed, four short sound signal and the parking lights or direction indicators flash four times.
Sit in the car and before turning the key in the ignition switch, look at the blinking led indicator on the dashboard of a car.
If the LED indicator flashes once after a pause, then the system was triggered by the first shock sensor or by a trigger additional device connected to the system.
If the LED indicator flashes twice after a pause, then the system was triggered by the second shock sensor or by the trigger of an additional device connected to the system.
If the LED indicator flashes three times with a pause, then the system has been triggered by limit switch trunk or hood (when trying to open the hood or trunk) INST1(-). INST2(-) = INST1(-) (when INST2(-) is an additional input flip-flop).
If the LED indicator flashes four times after a pause, then the system was triggered by the door limit switch (when trying to open the car doors) DOOR (-), DOOR (+).
Intrusion warning signals are stored in the Sheriff ZX-700 system and are cleared when the ignition is turned on.
