Once I had an idea to make a clock out of an old pancake pan, I decided to try scrambled eggs. It is her last option))))), and now in order!

As you can see, the sculpting seems to have been a success, but there is no realism! I glued it on super glue, dried it on the windowsill and over time it cracked and fell off. I prepared the pan fairly quickly. I dug 2 holes in it with a screwdriver (one for the clockwork, the second for a loop so that you can hang it on the wall).

To create a new more realistic scrambled eggs, I carefully thought out what I would have in it. And so, you need 2 eggs, sausages and mushrooms. Well, add greens in the form of parsley. I started a new dough (I wrote the recipe in the last MK) and started sculpting.

I tried to draw a couple of fried eggs.

While the blanks are drying, I began to prepare the pan. I tried to tear off the old superglue (it didn’t work out very well). I sanded the surface as best I could, washed it, primed it. Hammer with reverse side frying pan made a recess under the clockwork, so that later the clock would not be far behind the wall.

I decided to apply a gray "teflon" coating with a sponge and acrylic paints.

Started painting elements from the dough. I had to mess with the color of the greens, because if you look at the photos of dishes with parsley, then it is a little yellowish or dull green there. I did something in between. It’s a pity that it turned out to be thick for me (not quite as I would like). The color of sausages also made me experiment. But there were no problems with painting eggs and mushrooms, because. there are plenty of photos with fried eggs on the Internet. I mean those photos that I would really need when painting all the elements.

I decided to season the eggs with basil and a mixture ground peppers(on a layer of varnish), then fixed on top of another. I started to try everything on the pan. Glued on PVA. Started first glue gun, but he did not even seize with either one or the second surface.

For the manufacture and decoupage of watches, I needed:

old teflon pan
primer

rice paper prints

Garage, cars, finishing flags - this is what I "danced" from in decorating watches. The burgundy handle of the frying pan set the color for the car. I sanded the pan first, then primed it. I printed printouts of the dial and machine on a color printer, used rice paper. I drew and colored black and white squares by hand.

She asked me to drill a hole for the clock mechanism. Then I glued the dial and the car, sanded the edges of the printouts. I covered it with acrylic varnish in three layers and installed the clock mechanism.

Here are all the clocks ready. The old Teflon pan will serve only in a different capacity. Another frying pan is waiting for its turn.

It turns out that the pan can be used not for its intended purpose, but as an item for decoupage, giving it a second life as a wall clock.

So, the frying pan was aluminum with a Teflon coating. The handle is riveted (now there is a loop for hanging in this place). My dad sanded the frying pan completely on both sides. Then I covered it on the outside with white spray paint. In the center - a hole for the mechanism (glued from the inside to the epoxy). From small watches, a dial, a mechanism and an external applied bezel with glass were used. After decoupage and shadows, I glued the dial (2-sided adhesive tape), strengthened the mechanism and attached a rim with glass on top with 2 screws from the inside (the rim had such an original design ...) Then - a silver decorative cord (purchased under NG at a sale in IKEA) glued with hot glue. Everything!
