Waterproofing on bituminous mastic GOST 7415 86. Roll roofing materials. Characteristics and scope

GOST 7415-86

Hydroisol- coverless biostable roll material, obtained by impregnating asbestos paper with petroleum bitumen, is manufactured in accordance with GOST 7415-86.

Hydroisol is intended for waterproofing underground and other structures, devices roll roofing and anti-corrosion coatings pipelines.

The waterproofing must be applied in accordance with the regulatory and technical documentation for the design and production of waterproofing works.

Hydroisol refers to combustible materials.

Depending on the purpose and scope of application, hydroisol is divided into two grades:

GI-G- Waterproofing waterproofing. Designed for waterproofing underground structures subway, underground
parts of high-rise and multi-storey buildings, anticorrosive protection of metal pipelines, except for heat pipelines, with gluing of its web with hot bituminous mastic.

GI-K- Roofing waterproofing, designed for waterproofing flat roofs with gluing his canvas with hot bituminous mastic.

Hydroisol is produced in rolls with a web width of (950 ± 5) mm.

Specifications

total area waterproofing sheets in a roll should be (20 + 0.5) m 2.

The symbol of hydroisol in the technical documentation and when ordering should consist of the name of the material, its brand and the designation of this standard.

The asbestos base of the hydroisol must be evenly impregnated throughout the entire thickness of the sheet. In the tear, the waterproofing should be black or black with a brown tint without light layers of unimpregnated base and foreign inclusions.

The surface of the hydroisol should be matte and should not have irregularities and tubercles with a height of more than 1 mm. Separate shiny bituminous spots are allowed on the surface of the hydroisol, sprinkled with fine sand, which prevents the sheet from sticking together in a roll. The grain size of fine-grained quartz sand for sprinkling hydroisol should not exceed 0.63 mm.

The waterproof sheet should not have holes, tears, folds. On the edges (edges) of the waterproofing sheet, more than two tears 10-30 mm long are not allowed in one roll, tears with a length of St. 30 mm are not allowed, and tears up to 10 mm long are not standardized. Rolls of hydroisol should be rolled out without cracking at a temperature of 268K (-5 °C). The waterproof sheet must be wound into a roll. The roll must have even ends.

More than 5% of composite rolls are not allowed in a batch of hydroisol, and more than two canvases in one composite roll, the shortest of which should not be less than 3 m. Hydroisol rolls, including a joint of glued asbestos paper, are not considered composite. In a batch of waterproofing of the highest quality category, there should be no composite rolls and rolls with glued asbestos paper.
