Car alarm kgb vs 5000. pin white connector - connecting an additional sensor

Among experienced car enthusiasts, KGB alarms have long been considered one of the best. Models from this brand have good functionality and affordable price.

Important! Key fobs from KGB alarms are characterized by increased ergonomics.

Separately, I would like to note the craving of developers for constant innovation. Each new KGB alarm receives a number of improvements and new features that allow it to perform its tasks more efficiently.

The company's engineers are constantly competing with attackers who come up with more and more ingenious methods of hacking. To provide your clients reliable protection the most new signal encryption methods, and the frequency range is constantly expanding.

But just buying a KGB alarm is not enough, it still needs to be installed correctly. This can be done both with your own hands and using the services of a service center. The latter option allows you to save a lot of time, but it turns out to be very costly.

Self-installation of the KGB alarm is quite possible, but for this you need to have car wiring diagrams, free time and a desire to do everything yourself.

What are the advantages of the KGB signaling

The KGB company is a Russian brand that entered the national market in 2001. For fourteen years, the company managed to win back a significant part of the market, thus occupying a strong position. Now the brand's products are sold not only in Russia, but also abroad. Affordable and monofunctional equipment has found its customers around the world.

An interesting story is the emergence of a new player on the market. By that time, there were already many companies in the Russian segment that had taken strong positions and had their own target audience. But the first models from the KGB brand greatly changed this picture.

Alarms VS-100 and VS-300 have gained incredible popularity among motorists. An excellent combination of rich functionality and affordable price absolutely everyone liked it.

A real sensation two years later was made by the KGB alarm system with auto start. Now drivers have the opportunity to start their car, being a few kilometers away from it.

The autostart feature has inspired millions of drivers to part with their old KGB alarms and replace them with newer models. The thing is that in a cold climate, autorun allows you to warm up the car engine 10-15 minutes before the trip.

Important! The auto start function also makes it possible to heat the air inside the cabin. If you have air conditioning, then in the summer you can lower the temperature inside at the touch of a button on the key fob.

Another new feature of the KGB signaling is two-way communication. Annoying sirens go into the distant past. Now the key fob notifies its owner of the slightest damage to the car.

The KGB company purposefully improved its alarms, striving for the level of world brands. By 2010, its products were no different from high-quality European goods, and the price was several times lower.

Many certificates received allowed the company to break into the international market, loudly declaring itself. Now drivers prefer to install KGB alarms on their cars because of their reliability, functionality and availability. Other advantages of these devices include:

  • convenient liquid crystal display showing the state of the car;
  • many sensors that record a variety of indicators;
  • ease of installation.

Each KGB alarm comes with instructions. This is a fairly detailed manual, which describes all the capabilities of the equipment, features of connection and control.

Drivers who had to drop KGB alarm key fobs could notice how durable these devices are. As a result strength has become hallmark all devices of the Russian company.

Important! These systems perform well in extreme conditions.

Types of alarms "KGB"

Conventionally, all KGB alarms can be divided into two types: bilateral and one-sided. The first has a feedback function, while the second does not. bright representative bilateral devices is the model VS 130.

The VS 130 alarm is extremely reliable. Judging by the reviews on automotive forums, the car is more likely to fail than this system. The device has 16 programmable functions.

An authorized user has the ability to disable the entire system using secret code. Moreover, the internal alarm interface allows you to arm the guard when the engine is running without the help of a transmitter.

Key fob for alarm VS 130 has three buttons and a radio code, reliably protected modern methods cryptography from interception. It provides reliable signal protection.

Two-way alarms "KGB" are a notch higher. In addition, their model range is much wider; among the top anti-theft systems, one can distinguish:

  • AX-5,
  • EX-6,
  • FX-3.

The transmitters in these devices can operate at a distance of 1200 to 1800 meters.

Models with autorun deserve special mention. This feature significantly increases the cost of the KGB alarm, but the effect is worth it. Of the most popular models equipped with this function, there are:

  • FX-3,10,
  • MX-9,
  • EX-7.

In fact, these are no longer just alarms, but entire security systems that have many functions and capabilities both to prevent illegal actions by intruders and to control vehicle.

Alarm KGB TFX 5

This is a two-way system that allows the driver to interact with the car on a qualitatively different level. A special feature is remote messaging. Additional Convenience during operation, they provide two modes of operation: standard and silent.

In the first mode, you will be notified sound signal when the car receives even the slightest damage. In the second case, the key fob will vibrate, warning you about the activation of one of the sensors.

This is very convenient, especially if you are in an important meeting. Silent mode finds its application in a variety of life situations. Whether you're in a movie theater or at the bedside of a sleeping baby, the lack of sound will come in handy.

The range of the transmitter depends directly on the nature of the terrain. The maximum distance is 1200 meters, recommended 600. To increase this parameter, you can buy a more advanced model with an amplified transmitter.

Anti-theft system KGB TFX 5 has 6 areas of responsibility at once, among which:

  • hood,
  • doors,
  • trunk,
  • brake,
  • ignition, etc.

Given anti-theft device has many certificates that guarantee its effectiveness

Instructions for using KGB TFX 5

The main advantage of the KGB TFX 5 alarm is the ability to program functions. Remote access will also be an important argument in favor of this device.

In fact, the system has many useful features that you need to be able to manage. One of the most popular among drivers is the central lock. It can be configured to work both in manual mode and in automatic mode.

The user can configure the reaction of the system to the activation of the central lock. For example, the mechanisms inside the doors may not work immediately, but after a while. Moreover, if desired, this function can be completely disabled.

Attention! When the engine start system is turned off, the locking of the locks is also deactivated.

If in the process of programming functions you messed up something and anti-theft alarm KGB TFX 5 started to work unstable, use the button to restore the original settings.

Alarm KGB FX-7

The system is designed for 12 volts. Available autostart and Feedback. The main difference from the previous model is a new stylish keychain that provides more convenient operation of the device. The level of strength has also grown significantly.

There is a standard LCD display with many functions and graphs. With it, you can effectively monitor the condition of the machine 24 hours a day.

Informing the owner of illegal actions occurs through sound and light signal. There is also vibration and a special mode that allows you to use the KGB FX-7 alarm key fob at meetings or important meetings.

Important! The KGB alarm FX-7 uses a new dynamic code, providing reliable protection against hacking.

Instruction

The KGB signaling instruction FX-7 is a multi-page manual, the study of which requires thoughtfulness and time. The most important section of this document is transmitter programming. This option allows you to prevent unauthorized hacking. You can also configure the operation of the central lock and many other functions, including the immobilizer mode.

Results

Alarms "KGB" managed to gain popularity among millions of motorists. The top model can be purchased for 7-8 thousand rubles. In many respects, such a loyal pricing policy is explained by production facilities located in Russia and the right marketing policy.

Engineers of the KGB company are trying to make reliable and durable alarms, maximizing their service life. Undoubtedly, such a policy is bearing fruit.

Car alarms KGB VS-5*** with two-way communication - full security system vehicle, allowing flexible implementation of protection without compromising driving comfort.

KGB security modules have always been distinguished by their low price compared to their competitors, and the VS series is no exception. The developers have worked hard to protect against interception and reading of radio signals sent from the key fob to the processor control module and vice versa, using dialog code, instead of dynamic.

Characteristics

ATTENTION! Found a completely simple way to reduce fuel consumption! Don't believe? An auto mechanic with 15 years of experience also did not believe until he tried it. And now he saves 35,000 rubles a year on gasoline!

The transmission range of the radio signal in the alert mode from 1000 to 1200 (depending on the model) allows you to properly respond to any triggering of the vehicle security system. The signal transmission range in the control mode from 500 to 600 meters makes it possible to timely give a control signal of one or another value.

Programmable features are incorporated into each model of the series and each model has different amount of these possibilities (from 22 to 24).

All these functions can be customized, or disabled altogether, for this you can refer to the instructions and configure everything yourself, or come to service center for a professional setting.

In this review, we will consider the KGB VS-5000, KGB VS-5500, KGB VS-5700, KGB VS-5900 alarms.

Main functions

The security functions of almost every model in this series are similar, or overlap, but, in general, we can consider the main ones:

  • Passive and active protection of the engine against unauthorized starting by using an immobilizer and a starter blocking relay, respectively.
  • Advanced "Panic" mode, which allows you to turn on / off one or two alarm methods (sound and light) in sequence. Silent arming/disarming of the car.
  • If one of the security zones is faulty (of which there are 5), then you can bypass it by indicating this zone.
  • A system for storing one or two last alarms of the security system with an indication of the alarm zone has been implemented. A handy feature for debugging zone sensitivity.
  • Possibility of ignoring false positives at the processor level.
  • Additionally: programmable ability to control the trunk lock, or other devices, calling the owner of the car, searching for a car, automatic closing / opening of doors when the ignition is triggered.

Special attention requires an improved function of protection against robbery (Anti-CarJack). 30 seconds after activation of this function, light and sound alarms will work, and if the car's ignition was turned off at the time of operation, the engine will automatically block and, thereby, the anti-theft system will turn on.

After a 3-minute active "signaling" the system will arm if the ignition is in the off position at that time, otherwise the alarm will howl until the battery is completely discharged.

INSTALLING THE SYSTEM COMPONENTS

SIREN INSTALLATION:
  1. The siren should be installed under the hood of the car, in a place farthest from heating and moving parts of the car. The horn of the siren must be directed downwards to prevent the accumulation of moisture in it.
  2. Mark and drill holes for mounting the siren.
  3. Lay the wires from the siren inside the cabin. Connect the black wire of the siren to ground. Connect the red with black stripe wire of the siren to the Brown wire of the optional 6-pin connector.
CENTRAL UNIT INSTALLATION:
  1. The central unit of the system is recommended to be installed under the dashboard of the car. The installation location of the central unit should be as high and as far away from metal surfaces as possible. The block must be rigidly fixed with screws or plastic constrictions (clamps).
  2. The system antenna must be deployed and extended to its full length. Route the antenna wire as far as possible from metal surfaces or vehicle parts.

ATTENTION: The antenna wire must not be connected to anything, shortened or extended.

INSTALLING THE LED INDICATOR

The System Indicator Light (LED) is mounted in a visible location (such as on the dashboard). Check if there is enough space behind the panel (at least 2cm) to install the LED and run the wires. Drill an 8 mm hole in the panel and route the wires from the LED to the central unit of the system through it. After that, insert the LED into the hole.

INSTALLING THE "VALET" BUTTON SWITCH

Install the Valet pushbutton switch in a hidden but easily accessible location for the driver using the supplied double-sided adhesive tape.

TRANSMITTING MODULE OF THE SYSTEM WITH BUILT-IN ANTENNA

To ensure the maximum range of the two-way transmitter, the system includes a transmitter module with a built-in antenna. Choose a location to mount the module on or above the dashboard. Please note that some of the latest vehicle models use glass with a special protective coating that can have a shielding effect. In this case, it is recommended to install the module on the rear window.

Attach the module to the selected location using the included double-sided adhesive tape. For better fixation, we also recommend to fix part of the wire coming from the module.

INSTALLING THE HOOD AND TRUNK LIMIT SWITCHES

Limit switches of the hood and trunk should be installed in places where the hood and trunk are closest to the car body on a flat metal grounded surface. To protect the hood, use the included height-adjustable limit switch. Drill a 7mm hole to install the limit switch and make sure it rests against the hood when it is closed. To protect the trunk, use the standard limit switch. Drill a hole with a diameter of 6 mm to install the limit switch.

Pay attention to the fact that after installation there is sufficient travel of the limit switch. If the car has interior lighting for the trunk or engine compartment, it is enough to connect to the wire that goes from the standard limit switch to the light bulb (through a diode).

WIRING THE SYSTEM

ATTENTION:

  1. Do not route system wires near moving vehicle parts, exhaust manifolds, or high voltage wires.
  2. It is recommended to protect the wiring with insulating tape at the points of contact with the car body.
  3. Do not connect the wire connectors to the central unit of the system until all the wires are finally connected and insulated.
  4. Do not install the central unit of the system under the hood of the car.

MAIN 9-PIN CONNECTOR

1. BLUE WIRE - hood/trunk negative trigger

The hood and trunk limit switches are connected to the BLUE wire of the system. Shorting the BLUE wire to ground when armed will cause the system to immediately trigger.

2. PURPLE WIRE - door trigger positive/parking light circuit positive input

The PURPLE wire of the system can be programmed as (programmable function no. 2/10):

  1. door positive trigger input
  2. positive polarity input from marker lights
  1. The positive door trigger input must be used if the vehicle is equipped with a positive polarity door limit switch system. In this case, the PURPLE wire function must be programmed as "door positive trigger input"(factory setting of function no. 2/10). Connect the PURPLE wire of the system to the wire from the door limit switch that has +12V when the door is opened (most Ford vehicles, GAS).

ATTENTION: Do not use the PURPLE wire if the door switches are negative polarity (See GREEN wire below).

  2. In the event that the car's negative limit switch system and positive door trigger input are not used, you can program the PURPLE wire function as "positive polarity input from parking light circuit". In this case, if the side lights remain on when the system is armed, the siren will give 2 long warning beeps.

Connect the PURPLE wire from the system to the wire coming from the parking light switch, which shows +12V when the parking lights are turned on.

3. YELLOW WIRE - +12V from the ignition switch

Connect the YELLOW wire from the system to the wire coming from the ignition switch that has +12V when the ignition is turned on with the ignition key in the "ON" positions. (ON) AND "START" (CRANK), and the voltage is 0V when the ignition key is in any other position.

4. GREEN WIRE - negative door trigger

This wire is used if the vehicle is equipped with a negative polarity door limit switch system. Connect the GREEN wire to the wire from the door limit switch that has negative voltage when the door is opened.

ATTENTION: Do not use the GREEN wire if the door switches are positive polarity (See PURPLE wire above).

5. ORANGE WIRE - N.R. starter interlock. relay

The ORANGE wire controls the supplied normally open starter disable relay and is grounded when disarmed. The maximum load current is 300 mA. The connection option when using the starter interlock is described below.

Connect the ORANGE wire to pin #86 of the supplied relay as shown in the diagram. Connect relay terminal No. 85 to a wire from the ignition switch that has +12V when the ignition key is in the CRANK position and 0V when the ignition key is in any other position.

Cut the above wire from the ignition switch going to the car starter solenoid and connect the part of the cut wire that comes from the ignition switch to terminal #30 of the relay. Connect the other part of the cut wire to terminal #87 of the relay.

Note: Please note that when using this connection option, the lockout relay will only be energized at the time of an attempt to start the engine, so the lockout relay will only consume battery power at the time of an attempt to start the engine.

6. WHITE WIRE - /

The WHITE wire of the system can be programmed as (programmable function no. 2/11):

  1. negative output for interior lighting control (factory setting)
  2. negative output for additional N.R. engine blocking. relay
  1. "negative output for interior lighting control", then this wire of the system will be shorted to ground, including the interior lighting of the car, in the following cases:
    1. When the system is disarmed for 30 seconds or until the ignition is turned on;
    2. When the system is triggered (the interior lighting will flash during the entire alarm mode);
    3. In stages 2 and 3 of the Anti-CarJacking mode.

The maximum load current is 200 mA. To connect this circuit it is necessary to use an additional relay (min. 10A) as shown in the diagrams above.

ATTENTION: Necessarily use a diode to isolate the interior lighting control circuit from the door trigger circuit! Otherwise, the function of automatic re-arming of the system and a number of other functions of the system will not be able to work correctly.

  2. If the WHITE wire function is programmed as "negative output for additional blocking of the engine N.O. relay", this wire of the system will be grounded when the system is disarmed.

Connecting the WHITE wire in this case will be the same as connecting the ORANGE wire (see above). An additional relay must be used.

7. GRAY WIRE - negative output of the 2nd channel (remote trunk release)
8. PINK WIRE - 3rd channel negative output / negative output for car interior lighting control /

The PINK wire of the system can be programmed as (programmable function no. 2/7):

  1. negative output of the 3rd channel of the system
  2. negative output for car interior lighting control
  3. negative output for closing car windows when the system is armed

Connection: Locate the wire of the car's standard power window control module, when shorted to ground, the windows close. Connect the PINK wire to this wire.

9. BROWN WIRE - negative output for unlocking all doors / / negative output for closing car windows when the system is armed

The BROWN wire of the system can be programmed as (programmable function no. 2/9):

  1. negative output to unlock all doors
  2. negative output for additional blocking of the engine N.C. relay
  3. negative output for closing car windows when the system is armed

The maximum load current is 200 mA. In most cases, an additional relay will need to be used.

OPTIONAL 6-PIN CONNECTOR

1 and 3. TWO WHITE WIRES - to direction indicators (+ 12V)
  1. When the system is triggered, the Anti-CarJacking mode is activated, when the confirmation signals for arming or disarming the system are given, and for 30 seconds after the system is disarmed (if this function is programmed), +12V voltage will be supplied to the 2 WHITE wires of the system. Connect the 2 WHITE wires of the system's 5-pin connector to the vehicle's right and left direction indicators as shown in the diagram.
  2. You can also use the system's 2 WHITE wires to control the vehicle's side lights instead of the turn signals.

If the vehicle uses a positive side light control circuit, connect the 2 WHITE wires to directly to the vehicle's right and left side light control circuits.

If the parking light control circuit is negative polarity (as in most Japanese-made cars), then you will first need to disconnect the RED / WHITE wire with a fuse from the RED wire of the system and connect it to ground. Then connect the 2 WHITE wires of the system's auxiliary 6-track connector to the control circuits of the right and left parking lights of the vehicle.

2. RED/WHITE WIRE - constant power supply + 12V from the battery

The RED/WHITE wire is connected to a constant +12V power supply through a 10A fuse along with the RED wire of the system. This wire supplies power to the built-in turn signal control relay.

4. BLACK WIRE - mass.

This wire must be connected to the negative (-) battery terminal.

5. BROWN WIRE - Siren positive output

This wire is supplied with +12V power during confirmation signals, when the system is triggered, when Panic mode is activated, and in Anti-CarJacking mode. The maximum load current is 2A. To install the system on cars with various central locking systems or on cars without standard electric drives, use the diagrams below.

ATTENTION: When installing the system on vehicles with a vacuum central locking system (Mercedes-Benz and Audi vehicles), locate the lock control wire in the door panel. Using a voltmeter to ground, verify that +12V is present on the correct wire with the doors open. Close the doors - the voltmeter should show 0V. Connect a voltmeter to +12V - the voltmeter should read +12V. Cut this wire and connect as shown in the corresponding diagram.

Program the duration of the pulse applied to the door locks for 3 seconds.

2-PIN WHITE CONNECTOR - IMPLEMENTATION OF THE "CENTRAL LOCKING" FUNCTION

If the appropriate connections are made, the system will also act as a central lock. If you manually lock the driver's door, all other doors will also automatically lock, and if you manually unlock the driver's door, all other doors will also automatically unlock.

The GREEN wire of the 2-pin connector is connected to the wire of the 5-wire lock, which is grounded when the door is unlocked. When this wire is shorted to ground, the system will send an unlock pulse to all other doors (when the system is disarmed).

ATTENTION: In the armed mode, this wire is a zone of protection (indicated by the LED in series of 1 flash after a pause), since the shorting of this wire to ground will only cause the system to operate (there will be no impulse to unlock the remaining doors).

The BLUE wire of the 2-pin connector is connected to the wire of the 5-wire lock, which is grounded when the door is locked. When this wire is shorted to ground, the system will send a lock pulse to all other doors (when the system is disarmed).

ATTENTION: Please note that the activation of this function makes it impossible to implement the 2-stage door unlocking function when the system is disarmed, since when the driver's door is unlocked when the system is disarmed, all other doors of the car will also be automatically unlocked.

ANTENNA SYSTEM

The thin black wire on the main unit is the antenna wire.

ATTENTION: Do not connect the antenna wire to anything, do not shorten or extend!

The location of the antenna plays an important role in the correct operation of the system. To ensure the optimum range of the transmitters, make sure that the antenna is not twisted, stretched out at a length of min. 15 cm and as far as possible from metal parts and wiring harnesses.

PROGRAMMING THE SYSTEM TRANSMITTERS:

A maximum of 4 transmitters can be programmed. There are 2 programming options for the 3-button transmitter: 1-button configuration - the button (button 1) of the transmitter is used for both arming and disarming or 2-button configuration ( factory setting) - button (button 1) is used only for arming, button (button 2) - is used only for disarming.

ATTENTION: 5-button talkback transmitter can be programmed only with 2-button button configuration.

1. ENTER PROGRAMMING MODE
  1. Turn on the ignition
  2. Press the Valet switch 3 times to program a new transmitter with a 1-button button configuration or
  3. Press the Valet switch 6 times to program a new transmitter with a 2-button button configuration.
  4. The siren will give a long confirmation tone. This means that the system is ready to program the code for the first transmitter.
2. PROGRAMMING THE TRANSMITTERS
  1. Press any button on the 1st transmitter. The siren will give 1 short beep to confirm that the transmitter has been programmed and the system is ready to program the 2nd transmitter.
  2. Press any button on the 2nd transmitter. The siren will give 2 short beeps, etc.

Note:

  • The functions of the transmitter buttons are programmed automatically according to the selected programming option (button configuration).
  • New transmitters are programmed, "forcing out" previously programmed ones. Thus, if more than 4 transmitters are programmed, the system will only remember the codes of the last 4 transmitters programmed.
  • It is recommended (when using 2 transmitters) to program the main ("working") transmitter 1 time, and the secondary ("backup") transmitter 3 times. In this case, if you try to program unauthorized codes for additional transmitters, the code of your "working" transmitter will be automatically deleted from the system's memory and you will immediately pay attention to it.
3. EXIT PROGRAMMING TRANSMITTERS

The transmitter programming mode will be exited automatically if:

  • You turned off the ignition.

Exiting the transmitter programming mode is confirmed by 3 long siren beeps.

Can't program transmitter codes according to instructions?

Possible reasons:

  1. The Yellow wire of the system should have +12V voltage when the ignition is on and there should be no voltage when the ignition is off.
  2. The valet switch connector must be securely connected to the central unit of the system.
  3. Check system LED connection.
  4. Check if the LED on the key fob-transmitter lights up when the transmitter button is pressed. If not, the transmitter battery is most likely dead.

After eliminating the possible causes of the malfunction, repeat the procedure for programming transmitter codes.

DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAMMABLE SYSTEM FUNCTIONS

1/1) Siren confirmation signals.

Depending on the state of this feature, the siren will or will not chirp when arming and disarming the system. This function does not affect the operation of the 3rd and 4th siren warning signals, which will sound in any case, as they inform about specific system conditions.

1/2) Active/Passive arming

If passive arming is enabled, the system will arm either when button 1 of the transmitter is pressed, or automatically 30 seconds after the ignition is turned off and the last door is opened and closed. If only active arming is enabled, the system will arm only when button 1 of the transmitter is pressed.

1/3) Passive arming with door locking

Depending on the state of this feature, passive arming will either lock the doors or not.

Note: for this function to work, the passive arming function must be enabled (function No. 1/2 must be disabled).

1/4) Automatic re-arming

If this function is enabled, then 60 seconds after the system is disarmed, the system will automatically arm again if one of the doors has not been opened or the ignition has not been turned on during this time. This feature protects against accidental disarming of the system.

1/5) Locking the doors when the ignition is switched on

If this function is enabled, the electric door locks will automatically close 2 seconds after the ignition is turned on. Moreover, if one of the doors is not closed, the locks will automatically close will not.

1/6) Unlocking the doors when the ignition is turned off

If this function is enabled, the electric door locks will automatically open immediately after the ignition is turned off. Moreover, if one of the doors is not closed, the locks will automatically open will not.

1/7) Deactivation of sensor zones after 5/3 activations

You can use this programmable feature to minimize possible false or unintentional alarms on the system's sensors. Please note that this function does not in any way affect the operation of other zones of the system. If this feature is enabled:

  • after actuation warning zones any of the sensors 5 times in a row(if during this time the system has not been triggered by the entry of any other security zone), the warning zone input will be automatically disabled until the next arming of the system or until the system is triggered by a door, hood or trunk trigger.
  • after actuation main zone any of the sensors 3 times in a row(if during this time the system has not been triggered by the entrance of any other security zone), the input of the main sensor zone will be automatically disabled until the next arming of the system or until the system is triggered by a door, hood or trunk trigger.
1/8) Immobilizer mode

This function allows you to use the immobilizer mode instead of the passive arming mode. In this case, the system will only automatically turn on the vehicle's engine locks 60 seconds after the ignition is turned off. In this case, the system will not be triggered by doors, hood, trunk or sensors, but will immediately turn on the alarm mode when you try to turn on the ignition.

Note: for this function to work, the passive arming function must be disabled (function No. 1/2 must be enabled).

1/9) Disabling the system using the Valet switch / using a personal code

This function defines the emergency shutdown procedure for the system, either via the Valet pushbutton switch or via a user-programmable personal code. A personal system shutdown code is also required to disable the Anti-CarJacking mode after it has been triggered.

1/10) Anti-CarJacking function

This function allows you to use the Anti-CarJacking mode, activated by pressing and holding the button and the transmitter button simultaneously for 3 seconds with the ignition on.

1/11) Activation of Anti-CarJacking mode when the ignition is switched on

If this function is enabled, the Anti-CarJacking mode will turn on automatically every time the vehicle ignition is turned on.

1/12) Activate Anti-CarJacking mode when opening the car door

If this function is enabled, the Anti-CarJacking mode will turn on automatically every time the car door is opened while driving (with the ignition on).

1/13) The system can be armed with the ignition on

If this function is enabled, the system can be armed with the ignition on. In this case, the system will also automatically temporarily disable the sensor inputs and will not turn on the engine blocking circuits. At the same time, door, hood and trunk triggers will remain guarded.

If the system is triggered by the door, hood or trunk trigger input, the engine will be immediately blocked and the system will go into the standard alarm mode. After the end of the alarm mode, the system will restart in the standard armed mode.

2/1) Operating mode of side lights when the system is disarmed

Depending on the state of this feature, the parking lights will either flash 2 times after the system is disarmed, or they will flash 2 times and then turn on for 30 seconds (or until the ignition is turned on, if earlier).

2/2) Selecting a special protection mode
This function allows you to select one of the special security modes: "Silent" or "Pager only mode". These modes determine the operation of light and sound alarms when the system is triggered and the alarm mode is activated.
  • When you select the "Silent" security mode, the alarm in the special security mode will not be accompanied by siren signals, however, the flashing of the parking lights, interior lighting and the corresponding signals from the two-way key fob transmitter will indicate the alarm mode.
  • When "Pager mode only" is selected, the alarm will only be sent to the key fob transmitter with two-way communication, the system will not include visual and audible indication of operation.
2/3) Mode of automatic check of the range of the key fob transmitter with two-way communication

This function allows you to select one of 3 possible modes for automatic testing of the range of the key fob transmitter with 2-way communication:

  1. the mode of automatic check of the transmitter coverage area is disabled;
  2. mode of automatic check of the transmitter coverage area 15 minutes after the system is armed (factory setting);
  3. the mode of automatic check of the transmitter coverage area every 15 minutes during the whole time while the system is armed.

When using one of the modes of automatic testing of the range of the key fob transmitter with 2-way communication, the system will either transmit a single special "test" signal 15 minutes after the system is armed, or will transmit this signal every 15 minutes for the entire time until the system is in armed mode. When this signal is received (i.e. in the case of being in the communication zone), the key fob transmitter will not give any special confirmation signals, but the antenna symbol will remain on the transmitter's LCD display. In the case of being outside the communication zone, the test signal will not be received, and then after 1-2 minutes the key fob transmitter with two-way communication will give 5 short sound warning signals, and the antenna symbol will disappear from the transmitter display.

Note: this function will work regardless of which key fob transmitter (standard or two-way transmitter) the system was armed with.

2/4) Duration of locking/unlocking pulses

This function allows you to program various types of pulses for locking / unlocking the door locks, which may be necessary when installing the system on various car models. You can program the duration of the locking and unlocking impulse to 0.9 s; locking and unlocking pulse duration 3.5 s; the duration of the locking pulse is 0.9 s. and double (1-second) unlock pulse; double (1 second) locking pulse and 0.9 s unlocking pulse, or enable Comfort mode (10 second locking pulse only when arming from the transmitter), 1 second unlocking pulse.)

2/5) 3 or 30 second delay for door trigger on arming

This function may be necessary when installing the system on some modern car models equipped with a standard delay for turning off the interior lighting after closing the doors ("polite lighting"). To install the system on such vehicles, disable this function. The system will arm 3 seconds after the acknowledgment beeps on all circuits except the door trigger circuit, and the door trigger circuit will be armed 30 seconds after the acknowledgment beeps.

2/6) System channel 2 output signal type selection

This function allows you to program the channel 2 output of the system as:

2/7) System pink wire function (channel 3)

This function allows you to program the desired function of the Pink wire of the system:

  • negative output of the 3rd channel of the system (factory setting)
  • negative output for car interior lighting control
  • negative output for closing car windows when the system is armed
2/8) System channel 3 output signal type selection

This function allows you to program the channel 3 output of the system as:

2/9) System brown wire function (2nd unlock pulse/unlock all doors)

This function allows you to program the desired function of the Brown wire of the system:

  • negative output for unlocking all doors (2nd unlock pulse)
  • negative output for additional blocking of the engine N.C. relay
  • negative output for closing car windows when the system is armed
2/10) System Purple wire function ("+"door trigger/"+" side light trigger)

This function allows you to program the desired function of the Purple wire of the system:

  • "+" door trigger
  • "+" input of the car side lights circuit

This function allows you to program the desired function of the White wire of the system:

  • negative output for car interior lighting control
  • negative output for additional N.R. engine blocking. relay

PROGRAMMING YOUR PERSONAL EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN CODE:

The personal system shutdown code can be any number of one or two digits from 1 to 9. The factory setting for the personal system shutdown code is "11".

To program a new personal system disable code (for example "52"):

  1. Programming function No. 1/9 must be pre-set off(which corresponds to the mode of disabling the system using a personal code).
  2. Disarm the system, turn on the ignition, press and hold the Valet button until the system LED lights up (the system will enter Valet mode). Release the Valet button.
  3. Within 5 seconds: turn off - turn on - turn off - turn on - turn off the ignition.
  4. After the 3rd ignition off, the siren will give 1 long beep and the system LED will turn off.
  5. Within 15 sec. after a long siren signal, press the Valet button 1 to 9 times to enter first digit code (for example, 5 times). Each press of the Valet button will be confirmed by a siren signal.
  6. Within 15 sec. after the last pressing of the Valet button, turn on the ignition and within 5 seconds press the Valet button from 1 to 9 times to enter second digit code (for example, 2 times). Each press of the Valet button will be confirmed by a siren signal.
  7. After the last pressing of the Valet button, turn off the ignition.
  8. If the code is entered correctly, the system will confirm the entry of the new code three times: first, the LED will flash from 1 to 9 times, confirming the first digit of the code, then after a pause, it will flash from 1 to 9 times, confirming the second digit of the code (for example, 5 flashes - pause - 2 blinking). After that, 3 long siren signals will sound, confirming the exit from the personal code programming mode.

If errors were made during programming (no actions were performed for 15 seconds, the ignition was turned on for more than 15 seconds), the system will exit the programming mode without confirmation signals, saving the previous code.

To program a unique code, after entering the first digit of the code, turn the ignition on and off.
