Fortress alarm programming mode

The operating unit allows you to independently connect or disconnect additional functions when operating the system. To enter the operational programming unit, it is necessary to turn on the ignition in the DISARMED mode, press and hold the key fob ON button. In this case, the system will give a short sound signal and light signal. The system enters the PROGRAMMING mode after 3 seconds, which is confirmed by a long beep and a light signal, after which you can release the ON button on the key fob. The ignition can also be turned off. Further, by pressing the OFF button of the key fob, you sequentially go through the functions until you select the one you need. Each press of the OFF button is accompanied by a beep. The number of flashes of the system status indicator indicates which function is currently selected.

Correspondence of the functions of the operating unit and the status indicator is given below:

Turning on and off the function you have chosen is done by pressing the ON button, and the activation of the function is confirmed by three, and the deactivation - by two short beeps.

The system status indicator blinks slowly when the feature is enabled, and quickly when the feature is disabled.

To exit the programming mode, sequentially cycle through the functions with the OFF button of the remote control, or press and hold the OFF button until the system status indicator lights up continuously, then press the ON button of the remote control. The system will emit one short beep and one flash, and exit the PROGRAMMING mode, remembering all changes.

If at any stage of programming for 30 seconds you did not press the remote control buttons, the system will give one sound signal and one light signal, and itself will exit the PROGRAMMING mode without remembering the changes.

Auto arming

If you got out of the car and forgot to arm the system, then after 2 minutes the system will arm itself if during this time there are no signals from the door, hood and trunk sensors.

Programmable immobilizer

  • to enter the first digit of the code, turn on the ignition, the system status indicator will light up, press the emergency control button, for example, five times. Each press is accompanied by the status indicator going out. Turn off the ignition, the system status indicator will turn off;
  • to enter the second digit of the code, turn on the ignition again, the system status indicator will light up again, press the emergency control button, for example, three times. Each press is accompanied by the extinction of the status indicator. Switch off the ignition. The system will give one short sound and light signal, and exit the PROGRAMMING mode, remembering all the changes and the emergency shutdown code - 53 (in this case).

The use of the emergency stop code "00" is not recommended. If within 30 seconds you did not press the emergency control button, the system will give one short sound and light signal, and will exit the PROGRAMMING mode without saving the changes.

Central locking alarm Fortress

Arming

In order to arm the Fortress alarm system, you must press and release the ON button on the key fob. The system will give two short beeps and two light (turn signal) signals. The ignition will be blocked. If door lock actuators are installed and connected, the door buttons will lower.

If you hold the ON button for more than 1 second, then the direction indicators will turn on for 20 seconds.

Immediately after arming, the Fortress alarm system status indicator will turn on and stay lit until the sensor diagnostics are completed.

During diagnostics, the Fortress car alarm system will perceive any impact on the car as a malfunction of the sensors and, for the duration of the guard, will turn off the one (those) that registered this impact.

Upon subsequent arming of the Fortress alarm, the sensor(s) will reconnect if it is in good condition and does not register any actions during diagnostics.

If the doors, hood, trunk (or their sensors are faulty) are not closed, or the interior light is not turned off, and the shock sensor or additional sensor is faulty, then after diagnostics the system will give two sound, long and short, signals, and two light signals, and The system status indicator flashes quickly for 30 seconds to indicate that the sensor is disabled. Guarding a car with a running engine

In order to arm the car with the engine running, it is necessary to close all doors with the engine running (ignition on), press and release the key fob ON button. The alarm system will give a short beep and a light signal. After no more than 3 seconds, press and release the keyfob ON button again. The alarm will give two repeated short sound and light signals and switch to armed mode with the engine running.

When opening a door, hood or trunk, the system will block the ignition and go into alarm.

Alarm Fortress Alarm Mode

From the ARMED mode, the Fortress alarm system will switch to the ALARM mode when any door, hood, trunk is opened (if there are sensors, they are connected and working), when the 2nd level of the shock sensor or the 2nd zone of the additional sensor is triggered, when the ignition is turned on, when power interruption. This mode is accompanied by flashing direction indicators, the alarm system status indicator is constantly on.

The alarm continues for 30 (15) seconds, after which the Fortress car alarm system returns to ARM mode with a pause of 8 seconds to calm the sensors.

To end the alarm early, press any button on the key fob. If the cause of the alarm has not been eliminated (for example, the door was opened and not closed), then the alarm will be repeated 5 more times with breaks to calm the sensors when the door (doors), hood, trunk are open, and 3 times when the 2nd level of the shock sensor is triggered and 2nd zone of the additional sensor.

The cause of the alarm is memorized and displayed by the system status indicator after disarming for 30 seconds.
