Project "Journey to the world of insects"

Project type : cognitive - research
Project duration: short-term, from 20.04-30.04.2015
Project participants: children, teachers, parents.
Relevance: It is at the stage of preschool childhood that the child receives emotional impressions of nature, accumulates ideas about different forms life, i.e. he formed the fundamental principles of ecological thinking, consciousness, laid the initial elements of ecological culture. But this happens only under one condition: if the adults raising the child themselves have an ecological culture: they understand the problems common to all people and worry about them, show little man beautiful world nature, help to establish relationships with him. Familiarization of preschoolers with nature is one of the most important tasks in working with children. At the same time, it is very important that the acquired knowledge is not presented in isolation, without reference to a whole complex of phenomena. Children should always see the connection of a particular species with the environment, its influence on this environment, they must understand that plants and animals depend on each other and on the environment.

A preschooler is emotionally receptive to the natural world, he is surprised, admires the objects of nature, wants to participate in non-standard situations, in altruistic activities. The preschooler has feelings of empathy, sympathy, he is inquisitive.

Love for nature is a great feeling. It helps a person to become more generous, fairer, more responsible. Only those who know, study, understand nature can love and protect nature.

Children are characterized by kindness and curiosity, but they lack experience and knowledge, therefore, a preschool institution occupies a special place in the system of continuous environmental education, where the foundations of children's ecological culture are purposefully laid.

The main task of the environmental education of preschoolers is the formation of their ecological culture, a responsible attitude to nature, an understanding of the inextricable connection human society and nature, including a system of ecological knowledge, skills, thinking.

Educational area: environmental education.
Objective of the project.

To create conditions for the development of cognitive and creative abilities of children in the process of implementing the educational project "Journey to the World of Insects".

Project tasks.

To form a realistic idea of the nature around us, the desire to become a friend of nature, to protect and protect it; to form in children elementary ideas about insects (butterfly, ant, beetle, bee, grasshopper), their structure, methods of movement; cultivate respect for the living; develop emotional responsiveness; develop research skills.

Expected result:

1. Children will show a pronounced interest in objects of nature - insects.

2. Learn to distinguish and name insects: a butterfly, an ant, a beetle, a bee, a grasshopper, an ant, etc.

During the period of work on the project, the children enriched the vocabulary and replenished vocabulary, if by the beginning of work on the project the children knew 1-2 names of insects, then by the end - more than 5. During experimental activities we have developed children's imagination, thinking, formed the skills of elementary research activities.

We got acquainted with insects and learned to convey our feelings in drawings and crafts made from natural materials.

Adults have become more actively involved in creating conditions for the realization of creative and cognitive abilities in children, in organizing and conducting environmental events and entertainment.

Tasks for the formation of ecological consciousness of children middle group for the protection of insects, can be considered completed, because:

The cognitive interest of children about insects has expanded;

Children are ready to guard and protect insects;

Children have formed positive-emotional and conscious attitudes towards insects and their habitat.

At the end of the work environmental project"Who lives next to us?" it should be concluded:

To achieve this goal, it is advisable to use a variety of forms and methods of work: literary and artistic, musical, visual, visual, conversations;

work on environmental education and education must be carried out using all kinds of activities.

So, environmentally oriented activity allows preschoolers to master the ability to behave in an environmentally expedient way in nature. The child accumulates moral and valuable experience of attitude to the world, which gives his activity a humane character.

Abstract of the lesson on familiarization with nature

"These wonderful insects» for children 4-5 years old.

Purpose: To generalize the knowledge of children about insects, to develop the ability to identify the essential features of insects, to cultivate interest and respect for the world of wildlife.

Material: illustrations of insects, models of signs of insects, ball, hoops (red, blue), spider cap, audio recording "Summer".

Story development:

Sounds like "Summer". The teacher reads the poem:

When in a fragrant draft

You sit down in the summer in a pine forest,

Take a close look around

You will notice a lot, friend.

The ant is dragging the larva,

Hastens somewhere between the roots

Big pine. On a fat bitch

The golden beetle perched.

A light moth flutters,

Drinks fragrant juice with a proboscis

And the bee collects honey.

Everyone is busy, everyone has things to do.

My friend, take a good look

You will see the magic of life!

Guys, what is this poem about? (about insects).

In spring and summer, we meet with insects everywhere, there are a lot of them and they are all different. Let's play a ball game "Who can do what?" .The one who catches the ball will name the insect and tell what this insect can do.

After the game, the teacher lays out illustrations of insects in front of the children.

See what different insects are, how do they differ? (size, color, body shape).

And now we will try to find and name what all insects are like? (6 legs, there are eyes, antennae, wings, the body consists of segments).

(During the comparison, the educator puts models in front of the children

essential signs of insects)

Insects are the oldest and most numerous inhabitants of the Earth. Insects live not only on earth, but also underground, as well as in water and in the air. Let's play the game "Flies, doesn't fly."

After the game, the children sit on the carpet.

Listen to the riddles and try to solve them.

In the meadows he flies tirelessly,

Collects flower nectar.

A little time will pass

And make delicious honey? (Bee).

Puts on this baby

Is the dress red with polka dots? (Ladybug).

From the branch to the path

From grass to blade of grass

Jumping spring-

Green back? (Grasshopper).

She is light, beautiful,

Graceful, light-winged.

She looks like a flower

And likes to drink flower juice? (Butterfly).

He is a real worker

Very, very hardworking.

Under a pine tree in a dense forest

Building a house out of needles? (Ant).

Who is above us Upside down? (Fly).

The nose is long

Whoever kills him will shed his own blood? (Mosquito).

Flying says

Sitting silent? (Bug).

There are many insects in the world. Among them there are useful and harmful. Let's try to figure it out. (The teacher puts 2 hoops on the carpet)

Guys, in the red hoop we put pictures with beneficial insects and in blue with harmful insects.

(Children post pictures with insects. Then they comment on their actions).

Summary of the lesson:

Well done boys! Today we learned a lot of new things from the life of insects. They can be found not only in the forest, but also in the city. Let's not offend them, but let's protect and protect them.

And now I propose to play an outdoor game: "Spider".

Children choose a spider with a rhyme, put on a hat for him, he stands in the center of the group. The rest of the children are insects.

The spider says the words:

I weave a web,

I catch all insects

Midges, butterflies, beetles,

Mosquitoes and moths.

Children answer:

You spider don't scare us

Ah, try, tarnish!

The children run across to the other side, the spider stains the children. The game is played 2-3 times with a change of host.

Currently, finger gymnastics lessons are gaining more and more popularity among parents. And no wonder: after all, it is gymnastics, influencing certain points in the arms of a child, gives a powerful stimulus for brain activity. Such gymnastics allows not only to improve the motor functions of the hands and fingers, but also to develop speech, attentiveness, memory, and creativity. Therefore, regular performance of various finger exercises is great opportunity for the general intellectual development of the baby, other tasks of finger gymnastics are also performed - the development of speech and analytical abilities.

Today we bring to your attention finger gymnastics on the topic "Insects". Like all other exercises aimed at children younger age, finger game must be accompanied short rhymes and nursery rhymes - they will help to interest the child, giving meaning to movements. Don't forget that the child must see good example exercises, so you need to do them with him: clench and unclench your fists, clap your hands, raise and lower your hands, etc. The duration of gymnastics should not exceed five minutes, otherwise the baby will get tired and start acting up.

A finger game on the topic “Insects” will introduce the child to the names of insects, their habits, help the baby remember what sounds mosquitoes, bees make, what the caterpillar eats, etc.

Riddles
1. Moved by the flower
All four petals
I wanted to rip it off
He fluttered and flew away.
(Butterfly.)
2. I took the name from the blacksmith,

Children:- Insects!
Educator:- What do insects have? What can they do?

Physical education instructor:- Let's pretend to be insects, it will be a lot of fun!

Game - improvisation "Insects".
The physical education instructor or teacher asks the child to depict some kind of insect with gestures, facial expressions, movements, the children must guess who it is? The guesser continues the game. At the end of the game, the children return to the forest clearing.

Educator:- Guys, look what has changed in the forest clearing? (instead of color pictures, the contours of insects appeared). Probably, while we were playing, someone bewitched them - took their smart clothes. Maybe we can somehow help them, because without their color they are completely defenseless?
Children: We can color them!
Educator:- To do this, you need to choose an insect and explain why you chose it or tell about it.

Word game "I chose because..."

Reference materials:
This is a ladybug. She was named so because she has orange milk on her legs.
This is a bee. Hardworking insect. It collects a sweet juice called nectar from flowers. The bee makes honey from nectar. Lives in hives and hollows.
This is a butterfly. It feeds on the nectar of flowers. Butterflies have different beautiful coloring. Butterflies live on flowers.
This is a dragonfly. She looks like a helicopter. It can fly and hang in the air, feeds on insects, catches them on the fly. Lives near water.
This is an ant. Ants live in an anthill. They are very strong: they lift blades of grass, caterpillars, which are heavier than them. They do not see well, but with the help of antennae, they feel everything that meets on the way. They live in an anthill. They eat grasses.
This is a beetle. He can fly. It feeds on plants and lives in trees.
This is a grasshopper. Able to jump high. Lives in meadows. Feeds on plants and small insects. Can chirp a lot.
This is a cricket. He loves heat very much, so on cold nights he sneaks into people's houses, closer to the heat. The cricket sleeps during the day and chirps at night.
This is a caterpillar. She has many legs. She can (slowly) crawl. Feeds on leaves. Caterpillars are green and multi-colored.

Artistic creativity.
Children paint insects and make masks together with the teacher.

Educator:- Look at what beautiful masks we have made, now our ladybug will not be bored, because she has even more friends. Let's stand in a circle and look at each other.
Children become in a circle.

Educator:- What little creatures did we talk about today? Do you think insects have enemies? Who could it be?

Physical education instructor:- Let's teach the insects to hide, then the enemies won't find them.

Mobile game "Find your house".
Rules: children in insect masks move freely around the playground while the music is playing, at the signal the insects “should hide in the house” of the corresponding color. For example, a ladybug is red, a grasshopper is green, a butterfly is multi-colored, etc.

Educator:- Now our little friends are not afraid of anything, because we will take care of them, protect and remember:
- Everything, everything, everything in the world, the world is needed!
And midges are no less needed than elephants.
You can't do without absurd monsters.
And even without evil and ferocious predators.
We need everything in the world, we need everything,
Who makes honey and who makes poison
Yes, if we are not very friendly with someone -
We still really need each other!
And if someone seems superfluous to us,
That, of course, would be a mistake.

Outdoor games for preschool children

"Insects-cockroaches"

Good afternoon, colleagues!

I bring to your attention a selection of outdoor games that I used during creative project"About many six-legged".

“Only that game is expedient in which the child actively acts, thinks independently, builds, combines, overcomes difficulties,” Makarenko A.S.

The personal qualities of a child are formed in vigorous activity, and above all in the one that is leading at each age stage, determines his interests, attitude to reality, and features of interaction with people around him. At preschool age, such a leading activity is the game. The game is special form development of reality by its reproduction, modeling.

To date, GEF preschool educational institutions put forward the game as the basis for organizing all types of activities for children attending kindergartens. The concept of "game" now has a slightly different meaning. The game acts as the most important activity through which teachers solve all the educational tasks of various educational areas.

The presented selection of Russian folk outdoor games, author's developments, physical minutes about insects will be interesting for educators, musical directors of preschool educational institutions and students of teacher training schools.

Greeting game
