By combining the amount of moss and kefir, achieve a homogeneous pasty consistency that resembles thick paint.

2. How to create moss drawings

According to a previously unmarked contour with a pencil, apply to a brick or concrete wall brush the resulting mixture for moss cultivation. The thicker the layer, the better.

Landscaping at home with stabilized mosses

You can buy special mosses for vertical gardening in the interior (walls, panels, paintings, etc.) - some companies sell them in tiles (modules). This is, first of all:

• forest moss (not from our forests);
• island moss;
• moss is spherical.

They look very fresh, but it would be wrong to call them alive in the full sense of the word. These are stabilized plants in which the juice is replaced by a special liquid with the help of a special technology. From above, the plants are also covered with a certain composition. Therefore, experts do not recommend the construction of walls if the family has small children or animals that can try beautiful plants to taste.

Mosses in such walls do not need to be watered and fertilized, they are not afraid high temperature, insects do not settle in them and colonies of bacteria do not develop. If the room is too dry, the stabilized plants may shrivel up a little, then spray them well. But this happens very rarely.

Forest moss for green indoor compositions

Mosses collected in our forests and on our plots can be used to create a plant composition in a pot or an ornamental garden. Moss is often planted in flowerpots to large plants. You should not only use moss from rotting wood in these cases.

On some dead trees, provided high humidity, certain types of mosses grow very violently, but when transplanted into the ground, they do not take root (or do not grow for a long time) - they need a putrefactive environment. Plant moss in a pot along with the clod of earth with which it was dug up, so it adapts better.

If the moss in the potted composition has taken root, it will often be necessary to moisten the soil in it, so that it can only be planted with moisture-loving plants. Often, using moss, compositions are made in which succulents are the main plants.

What will be required

In general, finding moss is not too difficult. One has only to bear in mind this fact: lichens collected from trees will grow better on wooden surfaces, and for concrete foundations it is better to take the plant from the soil. In addition to the main ingredient, you will need:

• Hydrogel for plants. It is sold in any gardening store and is a small ball that absorbs water increases in size tenfold.
• Ordinary kefir. It will be the nutrient base for the plant.
• A little warm water to soak the lichen.

Mix recipe

To create paintings from moss on the walls, you must first prepare a special mixture that will become the basis of the picture. This can be done using a conventional blender or other device for mixing and grinding. You should start by soaking the moss. It is preliminarily thoroughly washed from all contaminants, lumps of earth and possible inhabitants such as midges and beetles.

• Three to four handfuls of soaked in warm water moss. You can increase or decrease the amount of lichen used, depending on the consistency of the mixture - it should look like thick paint.
• Add about a glass of kefir to the vegetable base. As in the previous paragraph, the amount of the component can be varied.
• The next component is a couple of tablespoons of soaked hydrogel. It is advisable to soak it well so that it absorbs maximum moisture. Do not overdo it with the amount - this will negatively affect the intensity of the color of the picture.
• The last ingredient is a couple of teaspoons of sugar. It will serve as an additional "feed" base for the plant.

After all the ingredients are in the blender, turn it on and mix the composition for a couple of minutes to get a thick paste-like mass. It should have such a density that it can be applied with a regular brush. Do not be afraid that the plant will die - this is a very "tenacious" representative of the flora, and even grinding in a mixer will not harm it. After that, you can start drawing with moss on the walls.

At first, you will get just dark outlines of the future picture. Naturally, the moss will not germinate immediately, so it will take two to four weeks for the spores to fully germinate. After that, the image will remain green for a very long time, if you properly care for it - it's not difficult.

Painting

Thoroughly clean the surface to be painted. Using a stencil or by hand, draw the outlines of the future image. Dip the brush into the finished mass and draw - the complexity of the picture depends only on your artistic talents and imagination. If you pick up several lichens of different colors, you can not only create contour compositions, but also diversify them with shades.

Important: if you need to remove the created picture from the wall, then traces of the composition may remain on it. The fact is that the lichen grows deep into the surface, fixing itself on it. After removing the plant composition, it is necessary to treat the place with any composition that prevents the development of mold. It may not be possible to completely get rid of traces. Therefore, before you start painting with moss on the walls, carefully select a place to place compositions of such a plan.

Care

To do this, the easiest way is with a conventional spray gun. Moss does not require other care. The only thing to consider is the poor tolerance of such plants to bright sun and heat.
