What to do if the washing machine does not draw water into the drum - Causes of failure. Why is the washing machine not taking on water?

The washing machine does not draw water: 5 reasons

Most frequent breakdown in the washing machine - this is the lack of a set of water Sometimes it happens that by putting things in the washing machine and pressing the start button, the owners are faced with a problem when the wash does not start due to the fact that water is not drawn into the machine. The washing machine may not draw water for many reasons. You can find out the cause of the breakdown yourself, but it will be quite problematic if there was no such problem before. The washing machine does not draw water: the reasons can be determined after a thorough inspection of the device.

If the washing machine does not draw water

If the wash does not start and the drum stops due to the fact that the machine did not fill with water, there is no need to panic. First you need to check if the hot water generally. If utilities often carry out preventive work, then this reason is not at all surprising.

It is important to pay attention to the valve through which water is supplied - it may be blocked.

You should also inspect the hose. Sometimes water does not flow due to the fact that some heavy squeezing object is located on it. It happens that the hose is accidentally bent. If the water supply test did not show any deviations in the operation of the system, it means that the washing machine is faulty.

If the washing machine does not draw water, then first of all it is necessary to check the serviceability of the valve

Causes of washing machine failure:

  1. The intake valve may be clogged. Tap water contains various impurities and small debris that enters the protective filter. It is located near the intake valve, representing a fine mesh. It is this mesh that can clog and not let the water go further. You can solve the problem yourself by taking out the mesh and washing it well.
  2. The valve that supplies water "burned out". Water is poured into the machine under water pressure. From the control module, a signal is sent to the valve, which indicates that it is time to supply water. If the valve has become unusable, then the machine simply cannot draw water. To resume operation, the valve must be replaced.
  3. The control module is broken. The machine can no longer "command" the water intake, since the control element does not work. This situation is completely different from the previous one: the valve is waiting for a signal, but it does not come. In this case, the control module must either be replaced or re-flashed.
  4. The pressure switch does not work. If the sensor that measures the water level and controls its amount is out of order, the machine cannot evaluate required level water supply, so the wash does not start.
  5. The device that blocks the hatch has failed. The washer cannot start working until the door is locked.

Finding the cause on your own will be quite difficult. Malfunctions may not have additional indicators by which a breakdown can be detected. Self repair from a beginner can lead to more significant damage.

Why is water not entering the washing machine

Many are frightened and do not know what to do when the washing machine “refuses” to draw water. The activation sensor may light up, but no water enters the machine. There is another problem when water is supplied poorly, in very small quantities. This leads to the fact that washing does not stretch for many hours.

Sometimes you can deal with the problem yourself, after reading the advice from experienced craftsmen.

It is worth noting that the brand does not affect the possibility of breakdown and its frequency. It can be a high-quality Indesit machine, reliable Bosch, durable Zanussi or everyone's favorite Samsung or Veko. Breakdown can occur for a variety of reasons.

Water may not flow into the washing machine due to an electronic malfunction.

Causes of failure:

  • Mechanical damage;
  • Electronic failures;
  • blockages.

After determining the cause of the problem, it will be possible to decide whether an independent repair is possible or whether it is necessary to call a repair service. Sometimes the reason that the machine does not fill in water or fills it too slowly and little is due to a change in the pressure of water in the pipes themselves. Therefore, before blaming the machine for a breakdown, you need to make sure that the plumbing and plumbing are in working condition.

Reasons: the washing machine does not draw water

Usually new machines work well. But after a couple of years of service, it may happen that the machine does not pump water or pumps very little. The washing mode can be turned on, but water is not poured.

Some reasons why water intake does not occur can be eliminated on your own.

For example, there can be no water at all, because it was turned off by utilities, which often and densely carry out preventive or repair work. Only the services themselves can correct the situation by turning on the water. It remains to wait.

The washing machine may not draw water due to a poorly closed hatch door

The reasons:

  • The reason may be in the faucet that supplies water. It may not open all the way, or it may be broken.
  • The hatch door is not closed properly or is broken. When closing, you need to fix the door well, otherwise the hatch will not block, and, therefore, the machine will not start washing. If the plastic guide is damaged, the hatch door starts to malfunction. The reason may be in the distortion of the locking tongue.

In the event of a breakdown of the hatch, it must be dismantled and the rod installed in its place. You also need to fix the heat blocking of the hatch, without which the machine cannot work. Many private craftsmen and service centers are engaged in replacing thermal blocking.

The washing machine does not draw water and hums

It does not matter which machine is broken: Indesit, Samsung, Candy, Beko, Ardo, Bosch or Ariston. Machines of any brand can stop supplying water for the same reasons. The situation when the machine stops taking in water and starts to buzz is quite common.

If the machine is new and was installed independently, perhaps the reason that it does not draw water lies in improper installation.

First of all, you need to check if the drain is connected correctly. You also need to make sure that the water supply hose is not kinked. Before using the machine, it is important to carefully study the instructions and rules for using the device. Problems with water intake can begin due to their violation.

If the washing machine does not draw water and buzzes, then you should immediately start repairing it.

The reasons:

  • The tightness of the hose that lets water through where it connects to the machine or sewer may be broken.
  • Climb drain hose produced at the wrong height.
  • The water supply hose may be kinked.

If a fracture or severe bend is found on the hose, it must be repaired and then the machine restarted. If the water does not flow, then the reason is not in the hose. It is convenient to determine the breakdown if the machine has a built-in display, which usually displays an error code.

What to do: the washing machine does not draw water

When starting from washing machine such a nuisance can occur: it does not pump water. Do not panic, because the reason may be that the pressure is too weak, so the unit cannot pump water normally. If the machine is washing, but there is too little water pumped in, the procedure may take longer. But in this case, it is better to let the machine finish washing, and then look for the cause of its malfunction.

The most banal reason may be turning off the water, but in this case, only its connection can correct the situation.

If the machine stops working, and the reason is not in the water supply tap and not in its absence, then it is better to seek help from professional craftsmen. By appearance The machine is very difficult to calculate the cause of the breakdown. The only option is to have a display on the typewriter that shows the error code.

In order to correctly determine the breakdown in the washing machine, it is better to seek help from a qualified specialist.

What to do:

  • Check if there is water in the plumbing.
  • Open the water supply tap if it is closed.
  • Close the door tightly. Check if the lock is broken.
  • Clean the mesh filter located where water enters the washing machine.
  • Broken water level sensor.
  • The module has failed.

Serious damage cannot be repaired on your own. The master will inspect the machine and decide which of its parts needs repair. Usually serious breakdowns happen to cars after several years of service.

The washing machine does not draw water: reasons (video)

Very often, users are faced with a problem when washing or dishwasher water stops flowing. It is for this reason that washing cannot start. It will take time to establish why the unit broke down. For their part, the owners can check the correct connection of the machine, the serviceability of the hose and the water supply tap. More serious causes of failure can only be determined by a professional master.

After setting the program, it seems to turn on and even starts to buzz, but no water enters the drum. Most often this happens after a few years of operation of the machine or after some problems with the plumbing. To return the unit to a working state, you must first determine the cause of the problem.

The cause of the breakdown does not always lie in the machine itself. Sometimes the fault is external factors , for example, communication problems or improper care.

All the reasons why water stops flowing into the washing machine can be divided into two groups: external and internal. The former are not related to the machine itself, while the latter relate to malfunctions and damage to various mechanisms of this unit.

The first group includes:

  • lack of water supply or electricity. In such cases, it remains only to wait for the resumption of the supply of water or electricity;
  • insufficient water pressure. This is usually due to a drop in water pressure or blockage in the water pipes;
  • errors made when connecting the drain hose;
  • non-compliance with the rules of operation of the machine.

The second group includes reasons such as:

  • intake valve filter clogged;
  • inlet valve malfunction;
  • failure of the water level sensor;
  • malfunction of the door lock mechanism;
  • malfunctions in the electronic control panel.

Communication problems

If water stops flowing into the washing machine, First of all, you need to check the water pressure in the water supply. Utilities may have shut off water due to repairs or emergency. In this case, the machine will work after the resumption of water supply.

If everything is in order with the water supply, then it is recommended to examine the hose for supplying water to the machine and directly the tap located at the inlet of the hose to water pipe. It often happens that the tap is blocked due to the forgetfulness of the owner or the pranks of the children. It also happens that the flexible water supply hose is pinched or simply twisted.

If everything is in order with the hose and the tap, it is necessary to examine the inlet hose filter, which protects the washing machine from rust and other similar contaminants from the water supply. To check the filter, it is necessary to disconnect the hose from the machine body, remove the mesh and rinse it under a strong stream of water. It is also advisable to flush the hose itself. It is recommended to clean the filter and inlet hose every six months..

Intake valve failure

The failure of the intake valve is purely mechanical in nature.. The reason is often a burnt coil winding, which is the main element of the valve. The core of the coil rests on a membrane, in the center of which there is a small hole. If everything is ok, then this system stays in the closed state due to the pressure return spring. When power is supplied to the coil, the rod moves away and water begins to flow into the machine.

You can check the operation of the valve even without disassembling the machine. To do this, you need to take a network cable with insulated contacts and a switch. The valve inlet during the test must be connected to a water main with nominal pressure. If the valve is in good condition, then after applying the voltage, it must first open a little, and then immediately close. If, after turning off the power, water begins to flow through the valve, this indicates a malfunction of the valve. In this case the valve needs to be replaced, but only a specialist can help here.

Water level sensor failure

The main purpose of the water level sensor or pressure switch is to control the volume of water entering the machine. When there is not enough water, the pressure switch does not allow washing to begin. If the sensor is faulty and cannot estimate the volume of incoming water, it simply stops flowing.

To check the operation of the pressure sensor, be sure to first unplug the washing machine from the mains. Otherwise, the heating element may burn out.

After turning off the machine, disconnect the water supply hose and instead attach a piece of suitable silicone or rubber hose. You need to blow into this hose. If the sensor is working, you will hear distinct clicks that occur when the contact springs are switched. If during the test it turns out that the sensor is faulty, then it should be replaced. With absence necessary knowledge this procedure is best left to a specialist.

Failure of the door lock

A modern washing machine has a lot of different protections. One of them is that water will not be supplied when the laundry door is open. That's why, when you notice that water has stopped flowing into the machine, check how tightly the door is closed. If the door does not lock when manually closed, then most likely the locking element (tongue) on it or the latch in the lock located on the machine body is broken.

The tongue may be skewed. This happens due to the fact that a rod falls out of it, acting as a fastener. The stem may fall out because the hinges of the door weaken over time and it warps. This is what prevents the tongue from getting into the lock and, therefore, fixing the door before starting the washing program. Repair work in this case will consist in dismantling the hatch and installing the stem in its original place.

The repair will also concern the thermal blocking of the hatch. This function automatically locks the door when the washing machine is started. Thermal blocking is a protection against unplanned opening of the door during washing. However, during long-term operation of the machine, the bimetallic plates wear out and they cease to deform when exposed to electric current. That is why the door is not blocked and the machine does not start after selecting a particular program. Such a malfunction can be eliminated in one way - by replacing the thermal blocking. This can be done at any repair service center.

Problems in the control module

The reason for the lack of water entering the washing machine may be hidden directly in the control module. It should be understood that the more electronics in the car, the greater the likelihood of breakdowns of just this kind. Such problems, as a rule, appear 3-4 years after the start of operation of the machine, especially with a constant violation of the rules for using the device.

If the cause is a programmer failure, then the outlet valve is working, but it does not receive a command to start the water. It is quite difficult to independently find the cause of a breakdown in the control unit.. Attempting to repair it yourself can only worsen the situation, so you should contact a specialist for help.

Fault Prevention

In many cases, breakdowns, due to which water ceases to enter the machine, are associated with non-compliance with the rules for operating this unit.

To avoid problems associated with water collection, you should follow some simple recommendations:

  • each has a drain hose filter. It can accumulate various small items that fall out of pockets or fall off clothes during washing. Therefore, it is necessary from time to time to check the filter for the presence of foreign objects and clean it;
  • protect the machine from power surges. For this, it is recommended to use devices protective shutdown and voltage stabilizers;
  • to prevent the formation of scale on the internal parts of the machine, it is necessary to use special prophylactic agents when washing.

conclusions

Today it is impossible to imagine your life without automatic washing. After all, we have almost lost the habit of manual labor, which takes a lot of time and effort. Therefore, failure for many becomes a real tragedy. Still, you should not forget about common sense, trying to establish the exact reason why water does not enter the machine. This procedure, like repair, requires certain knowledge and skills. In addition, self-repair can only exacerbate the existing problem and add new faults.

To ensure a decent level of comfort in Everyday life, most people use household appliances. Washing machine- one of the most necessary things in the house. A fairly common malfunction that you may encounter is that the washing machine does not draw water.

Regardless of the brand and price, not a single model is insured against breakage. Before calling the wizard, you can try to independently identify the cause and fix the problem.

There are many reasons for the malfunction: electronics failures, mechanical damage, blockages, etc. Be sure to disconnect the washing machine from the power supply and only then proceed with the diagnosis.

Water supply problem

The most common cause of a problem is that there is no water in the system.

  1. On some washing machines there is a special tap for supplying water, the valve of which is located on the pipe or comb. If this valve is closed or not fully open, no water will flow into the drum. Press the "pause" button, open the valve and turn on the machine.
  2. Water enters the machine under the pressure of the water supply. Therefore, check the water supply by opening any of the taps in the apartment. Make sure there is pressure in the central system. If there is no water or the pressure is not strong enough, it means that the utilities are carrying out repairs or there is a breakdown in the plumbing in your house. Never turn on the washing machine immediately after supplying water to the water supply. Due to repair work, it can be rusty and dirty.
  3. The problem may be in the water intake hose for supplying water from central system into the drum. He is on back wall body of the instrument and connected to the pipeline. Check the condition of the hose: the tightness of the installation and the absence of kinks.

Mechanical clogging of the filter

The second most common cause of equipment failure is filter clogging, which is designed to purify water, protect against pollution and rust. Need to inspect the filter fine cleaning drain hose for clogging.

To clean the filter, turn off the water supply tap and disconnect the hose from the machine body. The system does not need to be disconnected from the water supply. Rinse the filter mesh under high water pressure.

If the dirt is strong, you can use a needle or toothpick. The hose itself must also be flushed out of blockages.

Common mistakes

Malfunctions may occur during the washing process. We are investigating to find the cause.

  1. We check the presence of laundry in the drum. There are models that, in the absence of loading, do not collect or immediately drain water.
  2. We look at the tightness of the fit to the door body for loading laundry. If the door does not close, then the locking tab or lock inside the case has broken. The part is to be replaced. At open door water will not be supplied to the machine.
  3. We are testing the hatch blocking function (designed to protect against opening the door during the washing process). Not working - no water. The lock is replaced at the service center.
  4. We estimate the volume of linen. The defect may occur due to loading an unacceptable amount of things or their uneven distribution over the tank, then the built-in sensors of the protection system can turn off the device.

Usually these violations are displayed on the board with an error code. The explanation can be found in the instruction manual.

Water supply valve malfunction

The inlet valve controls the flow of water. Receiving a signal from the control module, the valve opens and water begins to fill the machine. When enough is received, the valve closes. It is located on the rear panel, and the inlet hose is screwed to it.

The main cause of the malfunction may be a burnt coil. Using a multimeter, it is easy to determine if valve repair is required.

Measure the resistance of the coils by applying the probes to each winding in turn. Serviceable ones will show a result of 3 kOhm. A defective valve must be replaced.

Pressure switch malfunction

The pressure switch is responsible for the level and amount of water entering the drum. If the pressure switch fails, the machine will not work. The reasons:

  • clogging or damage to the pressure pipe;
  • membrane depressurization;
  • contact closure or oxidation.

To check the operation of the pressure switch, you must:

  • disconnect the hose and wires going to the sensor;
  • remove the sensor from the housing;
  • install a short rubber or silicone tube in place of the removed hose;
  • blow into the tube;
  • if the sensor is in good condition, clicks will be heard during the switching of the contact springs.

A broken sensor cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced.

Problem with the control module

One of the most complex functional units in a washing machine are electromechanical programmers. The control module is responsible for all processes performed within the system and "manages" all sensors. Module failure is considered a serious problem. It should only be replaced or repaired by a professional technician.

Why is the washing machine not taking on water?

If, after selecting and turning on the program, the washing machine does not draw water, the reasons may be simple:

  • the tap for supplying water to the drum is completely closed;
  • no water supply;
  • the lock is faulty or the door is not closed properly;
  • the water supply valve is out of order;
  • the unit is connected incorrectly;
  • broken water level sensor.

Slow set of water

If you are experiencing problems with slow water delivery to the drum, check the following:

  • pressure and water pressure;
  • condition of the filter mesh in the inlet valve;
  • the presence of cold water;
  • check valve is fully open.

Washing machine takes on little water when washing

This is a dangerous situation and the use of a washing machine is not recommended. water heating heating element due to the small amount of water will be subject to additional stress, and this is undesirable. The cause of overflow or underfilling of water may be the failure of the pressure switch. It sends an incorrect signal to the control module about the volume of water.

Permanent set of water in the washing machine

One of the most dangerous breakdowns is the uncontrolled intake of water into the drum. In addition to the high consumption, in this case the heating element will again be overloaded, since it will be necessary to constantly heat the incoming water. Main reasons:

  • incorrect connection of the machine;
  • failure of the pressure switch;
  • damage to the water supply valve;
  • malfunction of the electronic module of the control unit.

From the video you can find out for what reasons water stops flowing into the washing machine and how to fix the problem yourself.

Self-replacement of defective parts

Having identified the probable cause of the breakdown of the washing machine, you can repair it yourself, without contacting specialists.

Replacing the drain valve: how to do it yourself

The solenoid valve is not a collapsible element, it is only possible to change coils in it. But it's easier to do complete replacement valve.

Valves are usually located:

  • front loading - on the back of the top cover;
  • vertical loading - a socle zone, on a back wall below.

To replace, you must perform sequential operations.

  1. Unplug the car.
  2. Turn off the water supply tap and disconnect the inlet hose.
  3. Access the valve (by removing the top cover or side wall).
  4. Opening the metal clamps, disconnect the hoses from the valve fittings.
  5. Disconnect all wires from the valve.
  6. Unscrew the mounting bolts or bend the latches, turn and remove the faulty valve from the body.

Install the new valve in reverse order and check the operation of the machine.

Replacing the heating element (heater)

Upon failure heating element the operation of the entire washing machine is disrupted.

To make an independent replacement of the device, it is necessary to determine on which side of the machine the heating element is located. Depending on the model, it can be located on the back or front side.

Replacement through the back cover.

  1. Unplug the car.
  2. Shut off the water supply and drain all remaining water from the tank through the drain filter.
  3. Disconnect drain hose.
  4. After unscrewing the bolts, remove the back panel.
  5. Disconnect the power terminals and wires, unscrew the nut on which the heating element is attached.
  6. Carefully remove the heating element.

Replacement through the front cover.

  1. Disconnect, shut off the water supply and drain the remaining water.
  2. Remove the detergent drawer.
  3. Open the hatch and remove the steel hoop from the seal.
  4. Dismantle the rubber seal.
  5. Disconnect the wires from the sunroof lock device.
  6. Loosen the screws and remove the front panel.
  7. Remove the heating element.

When is the best time to call the master

If you are not confident in your knowledge and cannot pinpoint the cause, then troubleshooting is not recommended.

Different models of washing machines have their own specific malfunctions, which can only be identified and eliminated by a service center employee.

The washing machine is not so incomprehensibly complex that the slightest breakdown requires contacting the service. Having shown a drop of logic and prudence, you can correctly assess the situation. Not always the failure of equipment leads to the cost of complex expensive repairs. First, you should check the most likely causes, and then call the wizard.

The washing machine does not draw water: reasons (video)

Very often, users are faced with a problem when water stops pouring into a washing machine or dishwasher. It is for this reason that washing cannot start. It will take time to establish why the unit broke down. For their part, the owners can check the correct connection of the machine, the serviceability of the hose and the water supply tap. More serious causes of failure can only be determined by a professional master.

There are many more reasons why a washing machine does not draw water than when it refuses to drain. This is incredible, because the only mechanism involved is the intake valve. However, the control scheme is such that many sensors are involved in the process. Therefore, the overall reliability is reduced, the causes of failures are blurred by grouping. Today we will consider the culprits of the refusal of water intake.

How does a washing machine take on water?

The inlet valve is responsible for the intake of water. Water enters under the pressure of the riser. Manufacturers write that washing machines are designed for specified conditions. In the villages, people suffer and wonder: how to connect household appliances in the absence of a central water supply.

Note. Already previously answered the question of how to connect a washing machine without pressure. Scroll through the section of the site.

At the inlet to the valve there is a plastic mesh, which needs to be cleaned periodically. The beginning of the water intake is in charge of:

  1. Electronic brain (or timer-programmer).
  2. Water level sensor.

The central unit always knows which program should start, so it allows or forbids water intake. Without a level sensor, the process is certainly impossible. It is impossible to draw water into a full tank. Level control is the responsibility of the sensor. There are curious cases when rinsing went well, but washing does not start: the washing machine does not draw water well.

The inlet valve is often double, in addition, selected washing machines operate from two hoses - cold and hot - so as not to heat the water in vain. If the first step of the cycle comes from one riser, the second - from another. The inlet valve has a membrane for each tract, each separate coil management. There is a reason for interruptions.

Coarse filter and riser

According to the technology of laying water pipes in an apartment, it is supposed to place a filter from the riser coarse cleaning. If previously mounted exclusively on cold water, now and on hot. Regardless of the type of washing machine, check two things:

  • Is the riser tap open? In ball valves, it is customary to make the position of the handle parallel to the pipe in the open state.
  • The coarse filter sometimes gets clogged. Mostly - the only one for the apartment, check if there is water in the tap (needed, hot or cold). If cleaning is necessary, the riser is blocked, the bolt is unscrewed with a key, the mesh is removed, washed, and assembled in the reverse order.

If everything is in order, close the ball valve and go to the washing machine.

Inlet hose and fine filter of the washing machine

The inlet hose is screwed on exclusively by hand. Do not grab the pliers or wrench. It unfolds in the same way. Rubber gasket will not let water seep through. With the twisted end, hold the hose over the tub. Carefully open the ball valve - a strong jet is expected. If everything is in order, return the valve to its original position and grab the thin-nosed pliers.

Carefully remove the fine filter from the washing machine. It is located directly behind the hose, in front of the inlet valve. The fine filter looks like a thimble, the outer edge is crowned with a comb. For the ledge and grab. At reverse installation do not confuse the outer side, it is convex with a ridge. Confuse - it will be difficult to pull out to put it right.

The filter is washed under running water. If the part is clean, the reason is different. You have to disassemble the washing machine.

Washing machine inlet valve

The inlet valve of the washing machine is single, double or triple. Accordingly, some modes are able to draw water, while others will not. It is necessary to check each path separately. To do this, the washing machine is disassembled. The top cover is removed first. Nothing else is required - the inlet valve is located at the top of the rear wall.

Inside there are coils according to the number of channels, each core opens and cuts off the flow of water. There is a pressure reducer at the common inlet. This is just a rubber washer, it is permissible to remove and rinse if it is clear that dirt has accumulated inside. Careful! If in inner membrane dirt will clog, the valve will constantly poison the water. In the latter case, it is extremely difficult to repair the part. Will have to buy a new one.

Now for the device. Each coil includes a rod core resting on a membrane, in the center of which a hole is made. In normal condition return spring keeps the system closed. When current is applied to the coil, the rod rises, giving freedom to the water. This is how a fence is made for any step of the cycle. A voltage of 220 V is applied to the coils, by disconnecting the terminals, each stroke can be checked.

Attention! Take precautions when working with high voltage.

The authors are at a loss with the name of the control center of the washing machine. In early models, this is a timer programmer that counts seconds and, accordingly, closes and breaks many contacts. As a result, it is logical to call the part a brain that sends impulses. In later models, electronics take care. Evaluates the course of the program, pressure switch data. If the described option is incorrect, incorrect, it is easy to notice that the washing machine does not draw water, and that's it.

If the inlet valve has already been tested, there seems to be no point in measuring the voltage at the valve input pins. However, a trivial break in the value is possible. Measure the signal from the electronics side. Find the right connector by the color of the wires. Additionally, call the tester to make sure it is correct. Beforehand, it is useful to check the pressure switch, in other words, the level sensor.

The object looks like a washer with many holes. The pressure switch comes with different number levels, two, three. Accordingly, the clicks of the relay operation with increasing pressure differ in an identical number. Inside there is an equal-arm lever that presses on groups of contacts with different pressing force. Due to this, sequential operation occurs. The shoulders are spaced in a circle and with an equal angle. The pressure is the same.

Consider how the process goes in the case of three levels. The arms of the lever are scattered in a circle with a spread of 120 degrees. Groups of contacts lie parallel to each other or along a circle. At the initial moment, for each spring it turns out same action when the water starts to rise. Soon the weakest spring does not withstand, the first group of contacts closes. One shoulder goes down.

As the pressure grows further, the second spring cannot withstand it, already two shoulders go down. The working chamber of the pressure switch is sealed, it can be disassembled, but it will not be possible to assemble it back.

The pressure sensor is located at the top of the washing machine and is connected to the measuring chamber of the tank through a hose (sometimes a tube). Moreover, water does not reach the pressure switch: there is air inside, which is compressed as the level rises. Relays work the same way. By the way, the pressure switch needs to be checked when the washing machine draws little water. This indirectly indicates that electronic logic is unable to correctly assess the situation.

If the above measures did not help to understand why the washing machine was not taking on water, the electronic module was probably the cause of the malfunction. This is a chipset that is difficult to understand for the average layman, not everyone undertakes to repair service center. The spare parts described by the authors, in contrast to electronic board, are not too expensive. It is permissible to wind the coil on the inlet valve with your own hands or remove a similar one from another part. Russian radio amateurs will quickly understand what to do.

If the washing machine draws water slowly, the filter is probably clogged. Sometimes it's a stand-up. It is permissible to try to remove the gearbox from the intake valve. The step will help those living in houses - we are the first to give advice in Runet, mind you!
