A traditional dacha, the main function of which is to harvest, also necessarily includes a recreation area., lovingly decorated by the owners. It is for the spectacular design of the backyard territory, a beautiful lawn, a playground for children, that ornamental plants and trees are needed, which are worth talking about in detail.

In addition to the natural aesthetic function - to give a person enjoyment of the beauty of nature, ornamental trees and shrubs are used by gardeners and designers to solve purely practical problems. Visual expansion of too narrow, or very small area. Decorating outbuildings, strengthening slopes and screes. Zoning of the site, the creation of dividing screens between the garden and the backyard area. Protection of the individual space of a small cottage from prying eyes, without erecting a fence.

Popular ornamental trees in the garden and in the country

The current trend in gardening is a beautiful, fruit-bearing garden that does not require huge physical costs to care for and maintain decorativeness. The priority is the beauty and unpretentiousness of trees; the practical benefits of plantings fade into the background. This explains the popularity of new forms of fruit and forest trees, represented by modern breeding.:

  • compact standard trees With spherical crown;
  • dwarf forms fruit and forest trees;
  • weeping forms;
  • columnar hybrids familiar trees.

An interesting novelty is the use of forest trees to decorate a summer cottage. For example, hornbeam seedlings are sold by nurseries at bargain prices. Hornbeam is great for creating hedges, decorative backdrops and walls.

To create spectacular compositions, edging lawns, trees of different heights are used.:

  • tall (up to 6 m);
  • medium tall (up to 3 m);
  • stunted and dwarf trees (up to 1.5 m).

From tall trees a heel is formed(wall, or focal point), which is complemented by trees and shrubs below. The foreground of the composition is formed from undersized ones. Trees can be decorated with gravel, located on an open lawn, solo, or combined into relief, multi-tiered groups.

The highest ones land in the background, then the middle ones. Low-growing trees and shrubs are located in front.

Recognized leader - coniferous trees

Mature plants require virtually no maintenance. Coniferous plants are decorative all year round, including winter period. At the beginning of spring, many species bloom with bright lilac candles, reminiscent of Christmas decorations . Then comes the time of active growth, the young shoots are much brighter than last year's branches. During this period, all coniferous trees look especially elegant.

Magnolia loves the bright sun very much, does not tolerate drafts and winds. Optimal location landing - under the southern wall of the house, any outbuilding. Does not like calcareous soils, so such lands must be acidified with peat. Care for an adult plant is not required, only minimal sanitary pruning. For cultivation in gardens of the middle lane, deciduous forms of magnolia are recommended, and the corresponding hybrids.

Young seedlings, even frost-resistant varieties, should be covered for the winter (mulch the roots and cover the crown with agrofiber).

Sakura

A Japanese relative of the familiar cherry, famous throughout the world for its magical flowering. The conditions for growing sakura and magnolia are identical. Sunny place without drafts; neutral or slightly acidic soil. Like ordinary cherries, sakura will need seasonal spraying from pests, abundant watering, significant cropping.

It is not necessary to buy sakura, it reproduces well by cuttings. This is much cheaper than buying a seedling. In August, the stalk is grafted onto a traditional cherry (or cherry) using the budding method (eye, kidney).

Interesting novelty: columnar fruit trees

compact, productive trees, strewn with fruits of the usual size, have fascinated many gardeners. The columns bear fruit already in the second year, take up little space, it is convenient to care for them.. The life span of such a tree is up to 15 years, in contrast to the usual longevity of ordinary fruit and stone fruit trees.

What are columnar trees

Columnar apple tree - undersized, dwarf (relative to standard) clearstem tree . Verified, quality varieties- Arbat (red apple of medium ripening), Bolero (winter), Gin (summer variety).

On sale there are seedlings of columnar trees of the latest selection: plums, cherry plums, pears, peaches. The main problem is variety instability. Death of the lower branches, changes in the shape of the crown (formation of a "broom"), freezing of growth buds, degeneration of the variety. There is a blatant fraud of sellers. If you decide to grow columns, buy adapted seedlings from trusted regional nurseries.

It will take seasonal pruning, pest control, top dressing, loosening the root circle.

After planting a one-year-old seedling, the plant will show its variety in the first year. To do this, 2-3 flower ovaries are left on the tree, it is better to remove the rest of the flowers in the first year.. The seedling needs strength to adapt to a new place, to form a healthy root system.

Whether to experiment with original novelties, or choose proven over the years ornamental variety is the gardener's constant temptation. Based on your taste preferences, you can choose original decoration for your favorite garden.

Globular chrysanthemums were bred quite recently for growing in gardens, and in a short time managed to gain great popularity. These flowers are exceptionally decorative and at the same time unpretentious in care. The flower feels great in the open field and does not deliver special trouble with landing.

Varieties and varieties

Recently, spherical chrysanthemums have enjoyed unprecedented popularity. And the number of varieties reaches four thousand hybrids of various colors, including blue and green shades. Only viewing numerous photos will help you decide on the choice of variety. Low bushes of chrysanthemums are densely dotted with flowers, which gives them special charm. These plants bloom from August until frost.

The bushes of such a chrysanthemum are in the shape of a ball, densely strewn with flowers.

Here are some of the common varieties:

  1. "Ida" - a bush up to 60 cm tall in the shape of a ball dotted with small (up to 3 cm in diameter) flowers. Blooms from September.
  2. "Knopa" - different abundant flowering. A low bush (30-35 cm) during flowering is completely dotted with yellow flowers, the number of which reaches 160 flowers at a time.
  3. "Multiflora" is the most common variety. small flowers have a very wide range of colors. Blooms from early September.

Planting a spherical chrysanthemum

When grown from seeds, chrysanthemums lose their varietal properties, therefore these flowers are planted with shoots. The place for the plant must be chosen illuminated. In the shade, the flower can stretch out and change the timing of flowering. Chrysanthemum prefers nutritious and loose soil. In addition, good drainage will also play important role in plant development.

Spherical chrysanthemums propagate by cuttings

It is best to plant cuttings on days when there is no sun. If this is not possible, then for a few days after planting it is advisable to shade the plant a little, but in such a way that the shelter and the cuttings do not touch. The shoots are planted in pits up to 40 cm deep. The hole must be well watered, a layer of drainage laid and covered with a mixture of earth and biohumus in a ratio of 20: 1. It is not necessary to deepen the sprouts excessively.

Advice. If you are planting a tall variety, then take care of the support.

Chrysanthemum Care

Often, gardeners recommend pinching on the 20th day after planting in the ground. For this you need to remove upper part shoot, on which several nodes are located. Pinching is done in order to form a spherical shape of the bush. However, there are also flower growers who claim that the form is genetically incorporated into this type of chrysanthemum, and pinching can be omitted.

Water the plant often, but not abundantly.

A significant role in proper care watering plays. Compliance with simple rules will preserve the splendor of spherical chrysanthemums and prevent lignification of young shoots. In hot summers, chrysanthemums need frequent but moderate watering.

Advice. Chrysanthemums will be grateful if you start watering them with rain or settled water.

Despite the fact that spherical chrysanthemums are a perennial crop, it is not recommended to grow it in one place for more than two years in a row. This leads to the degeneration of the variety and the modification of the shape of the bush, the shoots stretch and turn pale. Therefore, it is recommended to dig up the plant every two years, divide and replant. This is especially true for the southern regions, in which the plant is left for wintering in the open field.

Perennial chrysanthemums should be transplanted to a new place every 2 years

After the chrysanthemums have faded, the stems are cut to 10 cm and the chrysanthemum is prepared for wintering. In the southern regions, flowers are simply left in the ground, without additional preparations. IN middle lane the plant can be covered for the winter with spruce branches or other covering material, if the temperature in winter does not drop too low. If the winters are harsh and, moreover, snowless, it is recommended to dig up chrysanthemums for wintering and transplant them into flowerpots, which are stored in a dark, cool place until spring.

Attention. If there is fungus or mold in the basement or cellar in which you plan to leave the chrysanthemum for the winter, this can kill the plant. To avoid the appearance of unwanted organisms, it is necessary to equip good ventilation, and treat damaged walls with copper sulfate or used engine oil.

You can wake up a chrysanthemum in a flowerpot as early as April, and the shelter must be removed from the garden immediately when it gets warm to prevent the flowers from getting wet.

Fertilizer and top dressing

Globular chrysanthemums are among those flowers that are better underfed than overfed. Therefore, gardeners recommend fertilizing once - in the spring at the beginning of the season. Most often, organic matter is used for this - humus or mullein. If the plant still looks weak, you can apply phosphorus-potassium fertilizers, but only before the buds begin to form.

Feed chrysanthemums with organic fertilizers

Reproduction of spherical chrysanthemum

Chrysanthemums can be propagated in three ways:

  1. Cuttings.
  2. Division of the root.
  3. The division of the bush.

Propagation by seeds, as mentioned above, is not recommended due to the fact that the plant loses all varietal characteristics.

Flowers are transplanted in the spring, when the frosts finally go away. If the plant has wintered in the ground, then during this period it must be dug up and divided. Delenki are recommended to be planted in a new place, at a distance of 50 cm from each other.

When transplanting a chrysanthemum, give it enough time to take root before the onset of frost

You can propagate the plant at the end of summer, but the time must be calculated so that the chrysanthemum has time to take root before winter. If you are not sure that this is possible, it is better to plant young plants in flowerpots and leave them to winter in a room with a temperature of 4-7 C in winter. Under these conditions, the chrysanthemum is guaranteed to overwinter and in spring young bushes can be planted outdoors. priming.

Advice. Do not forget to regularly water the plants planted for the winter.

Cuttings are best done in February. At this time, chrysanthemums must be planted in a greenhouse and watering should be increased. When young shoots appear, you need to choose the strongest ones. The length of the shoots should not exceed 10 cm. Cut cuttings are planted in a prepared mixture of sand, garden soil and humus and covered with glass or film. After 3-4 weeks, the plants are already rooted enough for planting in pots, and when the last frosts have passed, the culture can be planted in open ground.

Diseases and pests

Chrysanthemum is quite resistant to various kinds diseases, but is not 100% immune. Sometimes flower growers complain that the lower part of the plant stem is exposed and the leaves turn black. This is the result of the action powdery mildew". It appears when waterlogging and too high density of the bush. In addition, a large temperature difference can be the cause. In case of defeat by this disease, it is necessary to treat the plants with preparations containing copper. You can also carry out preventive spraying in early summer.

Collect caterpillars from chrysanthemum bushes regularly

Occasionally, you may encounter the fact that all the leaves on the plant turned brown and began to dry out. This means that the plant got burned. It is recommended to remove such a bush from the garden and burn it.

Inspect the plant regularly for caterpillars, which can harm the flowers by eating the buds. With the invasion of caterpillars, spider mites and aphids, it is necessary to treat the plant with special preparations that are sold in gardening stores.

Fitosporin can be added to water for irrigation for prevention purposes. This will prevent root rot.

Chrysanthemums spherical in landscape design and in combination with other plants

If you look at the numerous photos of spherical chrysanthemums, you can see that their use in landscape design is quite diverse.

When choosing a place for chrysanthemums, it is necessary to take into account the size of the bush. Tall plants will be better combined with the same tall neighbors, and short ones, respectively, with small plants. But experimentation should not be avoided. You can plant a bed of chrysanthemums of different heights and shades, placing smaller varieties in the foreground.

Globular chrysanthemums with coniferous plants look great. Bright rounded shapes smooth and give liveliness to strict evergreen crops.

Spherical chrysanthemum in landscape design

Low varieties of this perennial flower are widely used to create mixed borders. In addition, they can mark the boundaries of the beds and paths.

The variety of colors of spherical chrysanthemums allows you to experiment with color combinations. For example, a green lawn will become perfect backdrop for white chrysanthemums. Yes and yellow flowers will look spectacular against the background of emerald grass or silver leaves of noble elimus.

It will be interesting to look like spherical chrysanthemums in combination with cereals, marigolds or cosmea.

In autumn, when most of the plants have already faded and are preparing to winter, bright flower beds, arranged from chrysanthemums of various colors, will delight your eye with festive flowers. Plant yellows, reds, whites and pinks and enjoy the riot of colors.

Chrysanthemums of different colors look very beautiful on the same flower bed

Ball-shaped chrysanthemums are ideal for mixborders. In addition, these lush flowers can be used as the bright center of the lawn, along the edges of which cold-resistant plants, such as snapdragons and calendula, can be planted.

Sometimes gardeners grow chrysanthemums as a home potted flower. Vases with these flowers adorn terraces and balconies. But not all varieties are able to show their full potential in a limited space.

In general, caring for chrysanthemums does not burden and does not require any special skills. In order for these beautiful autumn flowers to delight you until the frost, it is enough to follow simple rules. A little attention and patience - and your garden will be irresistible.

Many plants, due to their genetic properties by nature, immediately have rounded or spherical crown shape. But there are not so many such representatives in the plant world, mainly coniferous varietal arborvitae and cypress trees.

The bulk of deciduous, coniferous or evergreen plants, from which it is possible to create a rounded shape, need special cultivation and care. Some of them need a constant haircut, others need the correct formation of the crown from the first years of life, and others need vaccination.

- deciduous shrub, 1.5-1.8 m high. Unpretentious, grows well in the sun, in partial shade and even in dense partial shade. With a constant haircut gives a dense crown. This well-known shrub is an example of a hedge, and is very often used in landscaping.

Very good undersized Japanese spireas, in particular the variety Crispa". Spherical compact form 50-60 cm high, at the ends of the shoots has pink-lilac inflorescences.

This is a great practice and meditation is not necessarily an element of religion, magic or esotericism - it's just an exercise that will help you get to know yourself better.
  • And for this you need to spend more time alone with yourself. Many people are accustomed to constantly bombarding their brains with avalanches of information: movies, the Internet, all kinds of reading, games, work (I also wrote about this in the article how to cope with boredom), so they naturally do not have time to think about their problems, while the solution may be so simple and obvious that they themselves will be surprised by it, and yet it will only take a little time to comprehend.
  • These are all phantoms, a person does not find himself in them, even if he thinks so, it is like oblivion, the intoxicating effect of a drug that drowns out the pain that still remains, just the body does not feel it.
  • Many of us are in search of happiness all our lives, trying to find it in different things and, not finding it there, abandon these things and turn to new ones in our endless search. Someone tries to find it in the possession of objects, money, in changing places, in changing love partners, in thrills, in power, in work, in religion or secular ideas, in satisfaction of all their physical desires.
  • The visual perception of a rounded shape is enhanced by the density of the crown, which is caused by dense branching, densely spaced needles or openwork foliage. A loose crown, even if it has a rounded outline, will not give the impression of a dense ball or pillow. In addition, the texture of the ball depends on the appearance of foliage or needles, so it is necessary to remove dried leaves and damaged branches that violate the strict shape of the crown and, of course, spoil the appearance. An important condition to obtain the ideal shape, uniform lighting is necessary, otherwise the crown may develop asymmetrically, which in this case will greatly reduce the decorative effect of the plant.
  • A rounded crown in plants is formed due to a certain relative position of small shortened branches, the growth of which is directed from the center to the periphery. At the same time, the development of the crown in the vertical and horizontal directions may not occur evenly, as a result of which the plant acquires a spherical, oval, horizontally or vertically flattened shape. If the lower part of the crown develops poorly, a hemispherical shape is formed, which, due to its resemblance to an umbrella, has the corresponding name - umbrella. It is most advisable to graft this form on a stem.

Spherical crown shape in landscape architecture

Rounded, spherical shapes play a special role in the garden: plants with amazing spherical shapes bring harmony and unity to compositions, compensate Negative influence large and lush plants on the overall appearance of the garden, neutralize the effect of narrowing the space, give the design of flower beds, rabatok and mixborders integrity and completeness. The most common plants with a spherical shape are clipped bushes of evergreens, such as boxwood, which are appropriate not only in regular, but also in modern gardens. Along with naturally decorative onions, dahlias and other herbaceous perennials, they are quite common in gardens. But not only flowering flowerbed crops have a beautiful round shape by nature: among the motley representatives garden trees many plants naturally have a round crown, especially standard crops. Compact, expressive, bright, they conquer with their original appearance and neat texture. By nature, trees with round shapes are very different: some flaunt variegated flowers, others - with lush inflorescences, others with spectacular variegated foliage or needles. Rising above other plants, they fit perfectly into flower beds and rabatki even in small gardens, and in containers and flowerpots decorate terraces and balconies. More...

In short, happiness is not so simple, which is why we see so many unhappy people, although it would seem that they have not so many reasons for unhappiness. Happiness needs to be achieved, to prove that you deserve it, otherwise it will remain an unattainable ideal, the “kingdom of heaven” and a boring label ...

Positive thinking happens not only in relation to the world, but also in relation to people - try to see in people, first of all, the good, forgive them for their shortcomings and weaknesses. And healthy and meaningful communication will open up a whole new world for you. new world and an inexhaustible source of happiness!

Meditation improves your mood, but it won't make you happy on its own, it will give you the opportunity to understand what you really need in order to find happiness! It will help you find your goal, know your deepest desires, get rid of illusions, heaps of disorderly thoughts, passions and doubts. It will, as it were, focus, direct your mind in the right direction, so that it does not rush in space between different extremes.

Amor fati is a well-known wording in Latin, which translates as "love of fate." It expresses such an attitude towards a changeable fortune, in which a person relates to all its vicissitudes, whims, adversities, without torment and suffering. Perhaps such a worldview in its classical sense is the result of a certain fatalism, the belief that everything is predetermined in advance and nothing can be changed. But for me personally, I have other prerequisites for amor fati.

Where do balls come from?

I certainly do not intend to go so far as to say that happiness does not depend at all on your financial condition, on your relationships, on where you live. Happiness is not the absence of desires, it is simply the absence of complete dependence on the fact of their satisfaction. A happy person can still desire money, and a car, and Good work. But these desires do not make him their puppet, they do not make his inner well-being completely dependent on himself! If he does not have these things, he still remains happy.

But more often than not, it doesn't work, because happiness is not there. The mere possession of these things will bring you nothing but temporary satisfaction, after which new needs will arise that require their saturation. Whereas the absence of these benefits, if you become dependent on them, will make you unhappy! Not very fair, is it?

Note

Interesting architectural combinations tree species according to the size of the balls and their location on the trunks of different heights. Compositions that use spherical plants similar in various characteristics (color, texture, delicacy, etc.), which in this case are responsible for the integrity of the composition, look most harmonious. If several small trees or large shrubs with a rounded crown are placed along the borders of the recreation area, then the space will come to life, the strict outlines of geometric shapes will smooth out, and the feeling of the vacationer will be filled with comfort and harmony.

On different continents, in different climatic zones and natural areas One of the most common elements of urban landscaping is Tatar honeysuckle. This is a tall (up to 4 meters) densely leafy shrub that is cultivated in Russia, Europe, the USA, China and Central Asia. natural area The habitat of the plant is somewhat narrower - it grows between the Volga valley and the western part of Kazakhstan, in Central Asia and China. If you act according to your conscience, are sure that you are doing everything right, then forget about what people around you will think. People tend to envy someone else's happiness, someone else's freedom, someone else's courage if these things serve them as a reminder of what they themselves missed due to their passivity, laziness and cowardice. Don't take it to heart, leave your detractors alone with your negativity, don't let them pass it on to you. It will help you get rid of unnecessary "cockroaches" and fears, gain a clear and sober look at what is happening both outside and inside of you, allow you to control your emotions, control your body. This practice is the "base" of self-development and finding happiness and harmony. This is just as important as stretching for a gymnast: stretching the muscles in itself is not gymnastics, but it prepares the human body for certain exercises. Meditation also prepares your mind for self-development and happiness. I believe that, undoubtedly, a person decides his own destiny, but still, some things do not depend on him. And since it’s impossible to influence something in any way, then you shouldn’t grieve because fate has cheated you in something: someone was more fortunate, someone less fortunate. Yes, he has a goal to achieve these benefits and he is systematically moving towards its implementation, which will make him more satisfied with his life, its external attributes. But if he does not achieve this, then this will not plunge him into despair, because he does not reduce the light to a wedge on these things, his main purpose is different and she lies on the other side of all material wealth. Happiness is not contained in having something, it exists, to some extent, regardless of the things you have. And, therefore, it is not so easy to acquire, so you cannot buy it, no matter how trite it may sound. But at the same time, it is difficult to lose it, because it does not go away forever along with the disappearance of something in your life. Happiness is not a temporary state, but rather the result of some skills, this is something that you still need to educate, develop in yourself. Plants with spherical crowns can be standard or bush. The spherical crown is most clearly manifested in standard forms. As a result of using tall boles as a rootstock for plants with a spherical crown, we will get a crown that will be like a ball, since the growth of branches will not be limited in space, and they will develop evenly in all directions. If grafted into the root collar, the level of the soil will limit the growth of the branches, and they will be directed vertically upwards and horizontally to the sides, forming a hemisphere. When choosing plants from the catalog, pay attention to their species names: rounded shapes - spherical (

In landscape architecture, spherical shapes are popular for creating compositions of circular and one-sided views in regular style. The introduction of plants with strict geometric contours into landscape compositions will not produce the desired effect, although in chaotic landscape compositions, rhythm can be set with the help of regular balls of different sizes. This technique underlies the idea of creating meadow flower beds in the spirit of the famous Dutch landscape designer Piet Oudolf, who believes that when designing a garden, the main thing is not color, but structure and shape. In this case, evergreen spherical plants are used as the skeleton of the composition.

Balloons or plants on trunks

In the extensive list of ornamental shrubs used in landscaping, there are very few species that simultaneously have such qualities as high decorativeness and absolute unpretentiousness. These crops include the viburnum viburnum - a deciduous shrub native to North America, belonging to the Rosaceae family. Its spreading drooping branches, covered with large, corrugated, serrate-toothed foliage, form a dense spherical crown, for which this plant is grown. The bushes are covered with leaves evenly, so they look lush from top to bottom. Flowering occurs in June and lasts about three weeks. The flowers of the vesicle with long fluffy stamens are painted white or pink. More...

After long aimless wanderings in a dark labyrinth, the mouse stopped to take a breath. She finally wanted to stay where she was and think about what she was actually looking for in these walls and why she needed it. While she was thinking, her eyes were gradually getting used to the darkness that reigned in this labyrinth: now individual objects began to differ, the surrounding things took shape, the first colors began to appear. that this is not always possible. You don’t need to constantly feel sorry for yourself and be capricious, like a child, that you didn’t get what you wanted. That you didn’t go by car today because it broke down, that you visited a relative on Friday night instead of sitting in a smoky bar, as you used to, that your TV broke down and now you miss your favorite series, etc. and so on. Do not get attached to your habits, desires, it will make you dependent on them! Remember that happiness lies beyond the satisfaction of your everyday whims, it consists in being as independent as possible from them! I have already written something about this above. There is something else I would like to talk about on this issue. The world around does not exist on its own, our perception leaves a very significant imprint on it. And how we see it depends heavily on us. Someone, having all the benefits necessary for life: money, a car, a family, still complains and is unhappy, while someone lives in modest prosperity and sees only good things in his life.

You should not think about what fate did not give you, it is better to pay attention to what she gave you. These may be those things that you have lost the habit of noticing, since they have already become a given for you, for example, caring parents who are always ready to help, faithful friends, strong by nature health. There is no need to be offended by life for all the hardships that it brings down on you, there is something childish, immature in this, like a child’s resentment at inanimate object, which he hit with some part of the body.

What does it mean to "be happy"?

I am sure that it is much easier for happy people to achieve such things, even if they want them less than those who thaw them out but have not achieved inner harmony. Since happy people are more energetic, they are ready to achieve their goals and do not invent obstacles for themselves, they are more free, more flexible and more reasonable. They are not blinded, not drugged by obsessive desires.

But if we talk about happiness as a state, then it’s better to call it your “meta-state”, that is, that which stands above all small and everyday adversities, forms a common denominator that sums up your attitude to life and what life gives you in reply. Happiness is not pleasure! This is not a temporary obsession, not euphoria, but measured, calm joy, harmony and balance, confidence and satisfaction.

Why is the search for happiness often unsuccessful?

So I came to a rather "slippery" question,

Some trees with rounded crown shapes against the sky create a domed profile that serves as a kind of umbrella and therefore they are successfully used to shade playgrounds or benches for recreation.

What is happiness?

The narrow-leaved goof is a deciduous shrub or a low spreading tree with thorny shoots belonging to the family of the same name. Its habitat covers the eastern part of the North Caucasus, Transcaucasia, Kazakhstan, Central Asia, Southern Europe, Asia Minor, Iran and Northern China. In nature, the narrow-leaved sucker lives in floodplains of rivers crossing desert and semi-desert areas. Together with willow, tamarisk, sea buckthorn, poplar and some other plants, it forms the so-called tugai - forests that live in desert conditions due to the water saturation of floodplain soils. root system The sucker is powerful, strongly branched, therefore the plant is widely used for the formation of protective forest belts and plantings that fix the slopes. And the more the mouse peered into the darkness, which gradually dissipated, the more it noticed interesting things. A variety of colors of the surrounding world began to emerge from the darkness, as well as the amazing scale of its space! It turned out to be so huge and so beautiful that our little rodent was surprised that before that he had seen in it only a gloomy labyrinth.

Train your desires, do not let them have power over you and keep them as their puppets. Momentary desire is only a matter of a short period of time, you should not drop everything and run to saturate it, it has little meaning in the context of your whole life, all your happiness.

Perception differs from person to person and therefore two different people see the world differently, even if both live in the same conditions. One perceives life as a set of possibilities, as the greatest value, everything makes sense for him, while the other sees in it only a cage and a prison full of suffering and sorrow.

In search of happiness

Read my article on how to accept reality as it is.

And how is this metastate of happiness achieved? How to become a happy person? I will try to answer this question in several positions.

Happiness is not achieved simply by adding up all your achievements, joys, and subtracting from this your failures and suffering. This, as I said, more reflects your view of things, the state of your spirit, which exists regardless of the small incidents in your life. In general, happiness is inside, and is achieved by working on yourself and forming a correct, positive outlook on things, you can’t get it either by expensive purchases or by changing places, you first need to achieve it in yourself! And then everything else will come, external.

Getting under the canopy of an alley of trees with a spherical crown, the gaze of the contemplator involuntarily rises up, and under the impression of the dense greenery characteristic of spherical plants, combined with the strict accuracy of the arches of the alley, an ordinary walk turns into a romantic one. In small gardens, a similar effect can be obtained with plants grafted on tall stems.

Happiness is independence from desires

Growing medicinal plants in the garden is undoubtedly a rewarding business. Such a "green first aid kit" will not only help in difficult times, but also easily decorate your favorite garden. Such a representative of the plant world, useful in all respects, is Eleutherococcus, or free spiny berry, or "devil's bush", as it is popularly called. More...

The mouse was surprised to find many other peacefully wandering creatures around: some huddled in cozy minks, others crouched at the source of food, others had fun and talked. And as soon as she did not notice this behind all this crazy and senseless running around! Where did she actually run, if everything is here! From that moment on, the long and joyless journey ended.

Such desires distract you from your global, strategic goal - to achieve happiness. For example, you didn’t go to exercise (or meditate) today, but stayed at home and drink beer, because you really wanted to. Beer will not give anything but temporary pleasure, for which you have to pay more. And a short jog (or meditation), while not making you an athlete, will strengthen your health with each new activity. And health is for life and lies beyond the boundaries of current needs, it is something more important. By the way, your happiness also depends on health, so I don’t advise you to run it.

Be prepared to take full responsibility for yourself

Often people themselves do not understand that the world has become “bad” not because there are “idiots”, “hypocritical government” around, but because they themselves see only bad things in it. And their illusion lies in the fact that they elevated a thing of a subjective order to the rank of an objective, universal one. It may seem to them that the problem is not in them, but in those around them, they are constantly tormented by dreams of a better life somewhere far away or life there but under different circumstances.

No need to repent of past deeds, get hung up on the fact that you missed some chance, did something wrong in the past. You can't change the past, but you can learn a lot from it. Focus on avoiding such mistakes in the future, take steps to do so. You have to pay for some truth with the pain of past mistakes, so do your best to formulate as many useful conclusions from the past as possible, do not bury your life under tons of senseless repentance and lamentations about the past, live on.

Do not blame everything on external circumstances, on other people. The fact that you have become the way you are, first of all, is your own fault. And they are not even to blame for the fact that they became, but for the fact that they could not improve. You drink and can't quit, not because problems are piling up on you, but because you're not strong enough to do so. You start yourself and do not play sports not because you do not have time, but because you did not bother to organize it so that it appears. Your life is the way it is because you made it the way it is!

Is it possible to become happy simply by changing your place of residence, when, along with your baggage, you will take with you the painful burden of your mental problems that cannot be resolved simply because of a change of place. Is a large amount of money expensive cars bring you the joy of life, if inside you gape the abyss of fears, doubts and dissatisfaction? These things can only give you temporary relief.

Don't complain about life

. It is slippery because there are a lot of conflicting answers to this question, among which it is difficult to find the “correct” one. And besides, the very concept of happiness is not entirely defined, few people are aware of what exactly they are looking for, what they understand by “happiness.”

The issue of greening the streets under the power line remains relevant, in this case important point is the correct choice of the boundary height of the tree. ***End***

The ability to neglect current goals for the sake of global goals contains a symbol of maturity, “adulthood”. Children and adults do not know how to do this. You need this skill if you want to achieve long-term goals and achieve happiness.

Don't regret anything

“When I go there, everything will be different,” they think, but they don’t realize that in a new place they will only see the bad and they won’t get anywhere from their perception, even if they fly to the moon.

Find your purpose

Before you can achieve a life goal, you must first find it. This is very difficult and does not come immediately. Some awareness, sobriety, freedom from illusions and other people's views are required in order not to follow false goals, or not to exist in the absence of a life task at all. Find some goal beyond the boundaries of the ordinary, the existence of an inhabitant, which consists in monotonous work until retirement and mass shopping in supermarkets on weekends, think about what else you want from life besides a career and trips to warm countries on vacation.

This is a bitter truth, I know many people are not ready to hear it. They come to a psychologist and expect that he will delve into their psyche and find a thousand reasons for their personal misfortunes in the patient's childhood, in his relatives, in his psychotype, if only not in himself. Taking responsibility for yourself is a courageous act, but in no case should it lead you into a series of self-accusations: “oh, I’m so bad, it’s my own fault, how terrible, worthless, etc.”

If you cannot be at least a little happy with what you have now, in the place where you live at the moment, if everywhere you lead only the bad and blame the surrounding circumstances for everything, then, alas, you will not see happiness in anything, if you do not work on yourself and correct, first of all, yourself. Of course, now it may seem to you that it is precisely the absence of some goods, cars, yachts, jewelry, expensive things that makes you unhappy, but as soon as you get them, you will become happy.

Develop the habit of "being happy"

This concept has acquired the status of some kind of abstraction, it has become some kind of “kingdom of heaven”, only on a very local scale: everyone wants to get there, but no one knows what will happen there and whether they will get there at all.

), spheroidal (

Globular plants can be obtained artificially with regular shearing, using special templates and tools. In this case, it is imperative to take into account the biological characteristics of plants, since not all trees and shrubs respond positively to pruning.

To the beginning

Develop the ability to positively perceive the world around you

That's actually all. I understand that there is a lot of material and a lot of work to be done too. But where to start? Hardly all at once! Of course, you need to start gradually and small. You don't have to try to change your life dramatically. On my website, I offer a free online self-development program. It consistently, step by step, offers articles for review and some practice that you will perform as you progress through these lessons. The implementation of these recommendations will help you achieve happiness, success, harmony and well-being. All you need is to follow the link.

Focusing on the good is harder than focusing only on the bad.

I remembered an amusing dialogue from one movie, which, in my opinion, explains this idea:

If something better comes to your mind than working at the office or doing household chores, then you don’t need to immediately put an end to your dream, just because you want to live, just like everyone else lives. Come up with your own life scenario, make a plan, understand what you want from life and start gradually implementing this plan. Moving towards your goal is a huge source of happiness. If you have a goal, then it will become much easier for you to measure yourself against the hated work and everyday routine, as you know that every new day brings you closer to this goal.

No, this should serve as an impetus for metamorphoses, self-development, be embodied in the intention: “Yes, I am such and such, I have such and such problems and I myself am responsible for this, but that is why I myself can fix it and I will do it for this so-and-so.”

No, this is a mistake. These are all those “false” moves in our imaginary labyrinth that lead nowhere, but simply amuse you with an illusory hope. But the mouse still runs into these passages, because it doesn’t know or simply doesn’t notice another way out, its brain tries to “grope” for a way out of the current problem (or what it takes for such) and goes through the list of those options that are familiar to it. Maybe our guinea pig heard somewhere that other representatives of his species rushed to these passages and he does like others, he does not know other ways.

“Become happy” has already become a kind of boring label, like a hackneyed advertising slogan, the meaning of which has long been worn out from too frequent use. Many are perplexed when they hear the question “are you happy” and do not know what to answer.

Try to understand the people around you

sphaeroidea

The simplest and least painstaking way to become the owner of plant balls on your site is to plant trees and shrubs with a natural spherical crown, since caring for spherical varieties does not require much effort, like well-formed plants. In nature, the ideal spherical shape of the crown is quite rare, and for central Russia the recommended range of spherical plants is rather insignificant, but the selection does not stand still and every year there are more and more representatives of the flora with rounded shapes.

Learn to ignore the opinions and attitudes of others

Don't deify your desires

You can, you can.

Being friendly and smiling is harder than getting annoyed with others.

- I want to fly to Paris, I feel bad here, but there, it will be better, it’s different there. - Seriously? Are you sure? And do you know who will meet you at the airport? - I do not know who? - You yourself.

But, I repeat, this is not as easy to come up with as it seems. Many do not see their goal and do not know what they want or observe only a false goal, the implementation of which will not bring them what they want. How to get to know yourself better? How best to know your desires? How to understand what you really need. How to find your calling? Practice will help you with this. More on this later.

Remember, being happy is much harder than being unhappy.

  • Don't like work? Change her. Don't have the required qualifications for this? Get it, use your leisure time wisely, learn new things! No time? Organize it so that it is enough: watch less TV or surf the Internet. There are always some solutions, you just don’t lead them or don’t want to notice them because of fear and doubt. As they said in one movie, “There are no problems, there are only situations”
  • Also, a person is shaken from one extreme to another due to some kind of internal obsession. Dissatisfaction, suffering, lack of goals and aspirations make him frantically look for a way out and sort through familiar solutions: money, sex, food, drugs, status, fame, religion, social ideas, power, parties, subcultures. To rush from one to another, but in the end, after a temporary satisfaction, you still return to the starting point - to suffering and dissatisfaction. The desire for happiness, harmony, integrity at the same time, escape from suffering are very strong motivating motives of a person.
  • Meanwhile, happiness is quite an achievable thing, you just need to know where to look for it, and many people, in my opinion, are looking for it in places where it is not. So what is happiness? Before answering this question, let's first talk about what is not happiness.

Of course you can.

Seeing the good in people is harder than seeing only the bad in them.

As I said, a positive outlook on things needs to be cultivated in oneself so that it becomes a habit. To do this, meditate and try not to dwell on any negativity. With meditation, it will simply penetrate you less.

Of course it is easy to say “find a purpose”, “have a positive outlook on things”, but it is not so easy to do. Well, a person cannot overnight rebuild his model of perception of the environment and begin to see more good things in life, just because he was told so. This does not happen as a click in the head: “yes, indeed, I’m obsessed with the negative aspects of life, it’s time to change my outlook on things” and from now on he becomes happy.

I want to be happy where do I start?

Psychologists advise to speak out when something worries, it seems to me that many take this advice too literally and are in a hurry to sit down with their problems on the ears of their neighbor. They do not even try to calm down and think about the problem on their own, but are already running to confess. Complain less about people, about circumstances, and about life in general. Personally, I don’t see the point at all in what is called “speaking out”, because when you constantly talk about your problems, it means that you cannot cope with them, take control of them. Therefore, I try to keep silent about it.

On a suburban area, you can not do without large perennial plants. Beautiful gardens day after day create a unique atmosphere, help to divide the space into zones, determine the character of the site. Shrubs have a place in hedges and when arranging borders. Plants of different sizes and shapes make a great background for perennials and perennials, as well as bright decorations for the entire garden.

What are the shrubs? Today, land owners are offered a variety of:

  • decorative deciduous crops;
  • plants that decorate the garden with their flowering at different periods;
  • tall breeds;
  • ground cover or low garden shrubs.

There are a lot of lushly flowering or strikingly colorful plants, but choosing ornamental crops for giving, attention is paid not only to their beauty, but also to the complexity of care. The less labor required for cultivation, the longer the shrub retains its bright appearance, the more valuable it is for the summer resident.

There are many such unpretentious and at the same time incredibly spectacular plants. Among them are those that can be found in every garden, and undeservedly forgotten shrubs. Descriptions and photos with the names of ornamental shrubs for summer cottages will be a good help in choosing the most worthy plants.

Beautiful shrubs for giving: photo with names

An indelible impression is left by the bushes, covered with caps of flowers in spring or summer. If you create a catalog of photos of the most unpretentious shrubs for giving, on the first pages there will be varieties of garden lilac, mock orange, often called jasmine due to the similarity of aromas.

Lilac

In May, gardens and summer cottages throughout Russia are covered with lilac, pink, purple and white clouds.

This blooms lilac, a spectacular shrub:

  • up to three meters high;
  • with pointed heart-shaped or broadly lanceolate foliage;
  • with shoots covered with grayish-brown bark;
  • with racemose inflorescences of simple or double fragrant flowers of various colors.

In nature, there are several dozen species of lilacs. There are many times more cultivars and hybrids. All plants winter well in the middle lane. The tall beautiful bushes shown in the photo are preferred for summer cottages. sunny places and grow easily in any soil.

To maintain decorativeness, faded brushes are removed in time, basal shoots are cut out and adult lilac bushes are gradually rejuvenated.

Chubushnik

Garden or, more correctly, blooms a little later than lilac. In the garden and in the country house, a beautiful ornamental shrub spreads an exquisite aroma; white, simple or semi-double flowers located at the ends of numerous shoots attract the eyes of hundreds of pollinating insects.

Existing varieties of mock orange differ from each other in terms of flowering, shape and size of corollas. Bred even variegated shrubs of this kind. At the same time, all plants are very frost-resistant, not subject to pest attacks and are rarely affected by diseases.

Like lilac, mock orange requires pruning after flowering; for rejuvenation, shoots that have reached 5 years of age are also cut out. Removal will help maintain the shape root growth and rarefaction of the bush.

Spirea

Photos of these most unpretentious shrubs for summer cottages invariably cause a wave of admiration. Very different in appearance, covered with white or pink flowers, striking with decorative foliage and are divided into two large groups. Plants that bloom in spring are massively covered with caps of flowers, which crumble rather quickly. In summer, flowering of other varieties begins, transforming the garden for a long time.

Due to the presence of both compact and large forms, they help in creating hedges, they are indispensable in group plantings, but they will not get lost alone on the site, becoming its bright decoration.

With traditional care, decorative bushes in the country feel great in the sun and in partial shade, take root in areas with any light, loose soil.
