Method one - putty

On a prepared surface thin layer putty is applied. Approximately one, maximum one and a half millimeters.

The preparation of the base depends on what putty you are working with. If this is wood putty, then it is enough to prepare a clean, fat-free wooden surface.

If the putty is universal, then it will adhere to any surface, be it glass, wood, paint, glued paper. Even lacquered surface can serve as the basis for creating a volumetric texture.

After applying the putty and removing the excess, “connecting seams” are drawn with a thin, wooden stick. That is, an imitation of brickwork is created. An ordinary toothpick is quite suitable for drawing.

Having drawn brick wall, after correcting the flaws, leave it to dry or dry the wall with a hairdryer.

After that, you can start painting. The first layer, darker, completely paints over the entire wall. Particular attention is paid to the depressions between the bricks.

Now you should paint the roof of the house in the color of its base. To get natural shades, you can follow the following sequence: one coat of paint, then a little gold paint. We rub the gold with a candle and cover it with a second layer of paint.

If you add a little umber to the white, you get a nice creamy shade. We cover the top of the house. Optionally, you can paint the inside of the house. Don't forget to paint the bottom!

We turn to the decoupage of the tea house itself.

4. Acrylic paints (here colors such as cadmium red and yellow, ultramarine, burnt umber, chromium oxide, English red)
5. Decoupage napkin or decoupage card. In this master class, a rice map with elements of architecture was used
6. Spray lacquer (preferably matte)
7. Acrylic varnish (also matte)
8. 3-D gel
9. Stencil for imitation tiles
10. Glue (PVA or decoupage).

First, as usual, we prime our workpiece.

We tear out fragments from a napkin or rice card that will be used in the decoupage of a tea house. The indentation from the edge should be about 1.5 cm.

We stick architectural details on the house and flower pots. Glue only the middle, do not glue the edges yet!

Using a palette knife, apply relief paste under the edges. We give it the desired shape, and then glue the edges of the napkin. Thus, a volumetric element is obtained.

We make an imitation of brickwork on the walls using paste. Individual bricks can be drawn with a toothpick.

On the roof we apply the paste through the stencil. It turns out an imitation of tiles.

Then we paint the house, namely the walls and brickwork. At vine you need to draw in detail the foliage and antennae.

You can paint the house with other elements, for example, add a street lamp and cracks on the walls (as if the plaster had cracked).

Preparation for work

To begin with, we prepare / buy material and tools:

• acrylic putty,
• PVA glue,
• Medium to fine grit abrasive,
• paint,
• Putty knife,
• Color brick color.

If you have a primer for Bark beetle CT-16, then it will come in handy, if not, then we can do without it.

We have two tasks - to make decorative bottle so as to put it in a conspicuous place and make such a homemade product that it would serve for a long time. Putty, according to the law of physics, does not adhere well to glass, so you need to think about a solution to this problem. If there is a CT-16 primer, then the problem disappears, since this primer contains sand and the treated surface will be rough after drying (great for hitching). If there is no CT-16, then we wash the bottle laundry soap, wipe to a squeak, then wipe again detergent for dishes. After that, the bottle cannot be strongly “touched”, otherwise the putty will then fall off.

putty

Now we're going to putty. We dilute the mixture to an average consistency and after complete kneading, add PVA glue to the composition. For 1 kg of putty, 50 ml of glue is just right, if you want, you can use more, but then knead the putty thicker. The material is suitable for work for about an hour, so there is no need to rush, but put on gloves, otherwise sweaty hands will remain greasy spots on glass with all the ensuing consequences.

For work, use only a metal spatula and do not try to immediately apply thick layer- be disappointed. We need a layer of 5-7 mm, no more. Move the spatula horizontally, it is not necessary to putty the glass from top to bottom. Leave the neck intact, it will putty later.

While fresh putty, it is necessary to draw the texture of the brickwork. To do this, take a match and first draw longitudinal lines, then jumpers. The match must be cleaned after drawing each row, but do not try to make the texture perfect - now you are a builder, not a doctor or a classic artist.

While creating an imitation of masonry, hold the bottle by the neck and watch the time, 15-20 minutes after application, the putty will begin to dry out and, when drawing, it can slide off the glass when the match moves.

After the putty has dried, apply the mixture to upper part bottles and draw the brick texture there in a similar way.

First grinding

The task of the first grinding is to remove large irregularities and “snot” of the putty, so use an abrasive of medium grit for this. Fits #120-160. The material is delicate, it rests on the glass, not on the wall, so work carefully and without haste - do not try to fertilize the entire universe with one spermatozoon at once.

Attention, when sanding for the first time, remove only large snot and nodules with sandpaper!

Painting

Dilute the paint with color to a brick color and start the first painting. The first layer is the primer, it will create the background on the bottle, so cover the entire bottle with acrylic. Brush or swab - it doesn't matter, the main thing is to completely cover the putty with paint without gaps and smudges. It is necessary to apply 3 layers, but they are applied without full exposure - after 15 minutes.

Painted over? We leave work until tomorrow and go to do household chores.

Now you need to apply a second layer of acrylic. Color to your taste - whatever you paint, this will be the main color if you do not decorate the bottle further. Let it be white, so less hemorrhoids with color. Apply paint over the entire plane of the bottle, first holding the neck, then place the bottle and hold it from above through the hole.

We apply white color in two layers with a short exposure and again forget about decorating until tomorrow.

final polishing

Now you need to clean the bottle with a fine abrasive until the brick color of the masonry appears. The skin is suitable No. 100-120, we clean it diligently, until something shines on the cat, just do not overdo it and do not remove the putty to the glass.

• Repeat the procedure with each white line;

Stages of work in the manufacture of decoupage boxes:

1. Before decorating the surface wooden blank skinned. Dust is wiped with a napkin;
