I removed the doors on the mezzanine and on the wardrobe part of the wardrobe. I set the mezzanine level in the hallway, placed it under it and screwed the legs in the form of polished and painted bars. The mezzanine will now serve as a shoe cabinet. I put it on the mezzanine wardrobe...

Fortunately, the world is not without good people ... the neighbors gave me old furniture to throw away and I put it to work.

I sawed out additional shelves and partitions with an electric jigsaw.

When all the shelves were ready, I pasted them with self-adhesive tape (but it would be better to paint them in White color)

The entire chiffonier was painted white acrylic paint three times with drying, then with acrylic varnish, as usual ... The cut edges were sanded, primed, sanded again and covered with white paint.

I decided to fill the upper left edge at the door itself with an additional mezzanine. I measured all the dimensions, sawed out the necessary details from the gift leftover furniture, assembled the mezzanine, painted it white ...

I added a vintage decoupage "Rose" and varnished it. After drying, with the help of my daughter, I hung a mezzanine in its place. This time, the doors dried up after painting, and I cut out figures for them and screwed in new handles. I added magnets to the doors for a snug fit.

Do the same with the rest of the doors. I painted the details under gilding and attached them to their places on small carnations without hats and additionally on glue.

For work we need:

Bitumen, pastel or gold powder, Oil paint for grouting.
Acrylic lacquer.

We cover the prepared surface with the first, patinating layer of varnish. If there is no drawing, it can be created using the decoupage method. We dry the composition, as in the first case, until it sticks.

Quickly apply the second phase of varnish. Dry to the same state.

We process the cracks that have appeared with a prepared grout using a sponge. Gold powder will ennoble the patterns of cracks, give the locker a presentable look.

We fix the result with a layer of acrylic varnish. The locker has turned from an old and time-beaten box into a real work of craquelure art.
