For work we need the following materials and tools:
- corrugated packaging cardboard;
- three wooden skewers;
- leg-split;
- paper tape;
- Double-sided tape;
- natural materials for decoration;
- cotton lace, ribbons;
- scissors;
- a simple pencil;
- ruler;
- glue stick;
- hot glue;
- alabaster / gypsum (not in the photo, since the bag takes up a lot of space);
- a pot for seedlings (can be replaced with any other container).

Step 1. On a sheet of packaging corrugated cardboard we draw triangles: height 12 cm, base - 8 cm. You can choose other size.

Cut out. For one Christmas tree, we need three triangles.

We glue the triangles together sequentially. I used glue stick.

Step 2 We begin to paste over the future Christmas tree with twine. I have long abandoned universal adhesives for such work. Fast and high-quality pasting can be done with the help of double sided tape. We paste over the top of the triangle for one turn with adhesive tape, remove the protective layer, fix the twine at the top of the triangle.

We begin to wrap the triangle, trying to avoid "gaps" when wrapping. Gradually glue the next turns of adhesive tape.

Let's postpone our preparation for a while.

Step 3 For the trunk of the Christmas tree, we need three wooden skewers. My skewers are 17cm long. You can vary. Glue the skewers together paper tape, securing the strip at the top and bottom. Using a piece of double-sided tape, we fix the twine, please note that it is not necessary to wrap the skewers with twine from the very top, step back 2-3 cm.

Thus, we wrap the skewer, it is possible not to the very end, since part of the trunk will be immersed in the pot.

Step 4 We are preparing a pot for the Christmas tree. I have these pots for seedlings, at the bottom of which there are holes.
Using hot glue, I “plug” these holes with beads.

We fill the pot with alabaster / gypsum diluted with water. We install the trunk of the Christmas tree in a pot.

Step 5 and last. The end of corrugated cardboard remained at the base of our Christmas tree. The sharp ends of the skewers fit perfectly into the corrugation. For greater reliability, we fix it with hot glue.
