How to set up a keychain?

If it is necessary to use an additional key fob, it should be registered in the memory of the head unit of the system. When programming from memory, all available remotes are erased.

The sequence of recording the key fob in the memory of the Tomahawk TW-9010:

  1. Turn the ignition key to the On position (do not start the engine itself).
  2. Press the Override button and do not release until the siren sounds four times.
  3. Release the Override key.
  4. Press the trunk open and silent operation buttons on the new key fob at the same time and hold until a signal is given. The siren will work once for the first remote control, twice for the second one, three times for the third one, and four times for the fourth one.
  5. Wait six seconds for the system to exit setup mode. While waiting, do not press the buttons and turn the key in the lock.

Function setting

Button combinations are used to configure the functions of the remote control:

  • button 05 activates the backlight;
  • joint pressing of buttons 01 and 05 turns on the energy-saving mode;
  • pressing on 02 and 05 allows you to switch the mode of operation of the warning system (buzzer or vibration);
  • a long press on 05 turns on the clock, alarm or timer settings;

Some of the functions of the TW-9010 are programmed only with a key fob, for this you need to enter the configuration mode (Override):

  1. Turn on the ignition.
  2. Press the button six times to activate programming mode.
  3. Turn off the ignition and get confirmation of the selected mode by flashing the diode and sounding the siren (six times).

Auto start on manual transmission

To use automatic start on a manual transmission, it is necessary to confirm the neutral shift signal.

Sequencing:

  1. With the engine running, apply the parking brake.
  2. Press button 02 on the key fob and wait for the icon and melody to turn on by the buzzer.
  3. Remove the key from the lock.
  4. Open the door, get out of the car and close it. It must be remembered that no more than 30 seconds are allotted for steps 3 and 4.

Modes

  1. The yellow-black contact must be connected to the starter device. The 12 volt output pulse is connected to the solenoid relay. The contact should be connected to an electrical circuit in which voltage appears when the key is turned to the starter position.   2. The blue output is for activation auxiliary equipment. It must be connected to the lock contact, where there is voltage when the ACC mode is activated.
  3. A thinner red contact is the signaling power supply circuit. It must be connected directly to battery, the circuit is protected by a 10 amp fuse.
  4. The thick red output is the remote start circuit. It connects directly to the battery through a 30 amp fuse.
  5. The yellow contact is for connection to the ignition switch. It must be connected to an electrical circuit where there is a twelve-volt voltage when the key is turned to the ignition on position. At the same time, current should not disappear in this section of the wiring when the key is switched to the starter device mode.
  6. The green contact is connected to the same section of the circuit as the output described above.

Key fob programming

Car alarm Tomahawk 9010 allows you to record up to four remote controls in your memory, the setup procedure is as follows:

I. Basic principles of installation.

  • Absence of sources of heat and moisture emission near the blocks.

II. Selecting the location of the main units

  1. The electronic alarm control unit is installed inside the passenger compartment. Receiving-transmitting "RF" antenna system block to obtain maximum range, it is necessary to place it as high as possible, not to come into contact with metal objects, wiring harnesses.
  2. The siren is installed in the engine compartment, in an inaccessible place, if you use an autonomous siren, provide access to the service key hole.
