16. Preparation for remote engine start for vehicles with manual transmission.

I. Basic principles of installation.

Security complex Tomahawk TW-9020 has classical scheme connections. First of all, before starting the installation, turn off the vehicle's on-board power supply (disconnect the "-" battery terminal). To select the installation locations for security system units, be guided by the following principles:

• Stealth installation.
• Absence of sources of heat and moisture emission near the blocks.
• Provide a minimum influence on each other of standard electronics and signaling units.

Attention! The transmitter antenna must be installed away from the signaling and vehicle control units. Try to minimize the length of the wires when installing.

II. Selecting the location of the main units

1. The electronic alarm control unit is installed inside the passenger compartment. Receiving-transmitting "RF" antenna system block to obtain maximum range, it is necessary to place it as high as possible, not to come into contact with metal objects, wiring harnesses.
2. The siren is installed in the engine compartment, in an inaccessible place, if you use an autonomous siren, provide access to the service key hole. 3. All high current circuits (power supply, parking lights, central locking, etc.) must be protected by fuses of the appropriate rating.
