  • Ecowool- produce cellulose insulation. Their cost is 280 rubles per sq. m. meter or 1400 rubles per cubic meter. meter.

All these firms can be compared with each other by density insulation. The densest are Ecowool and Ursa. medium density have Rockwool and Izomin, and the smallest - Parok insulation. Next comparative property is the environmental friendliness of the composition of the insulation. by the most safe are: Izomin, Ursa, Knauf, Rockwool and Ecowool. They do not rot, do not burn, do not emit harmful substances. You can also compare by possible scope. If the insulation has a small weight, then it can be used to insulate the room from the inside - such are Parok and Krauf. insulation with more heavy weight can be mounted on facades, these are: Rockwool, Ursa, Izomin.

Features of installation of Ursa insulation

Even a person who is far from the construction industry can lay the Urs insulation. Mounting is quite simple due to the plates and rolls of insulation, which have small size and good elasticity. The main thing is to prepare the surface well, because this insulation is mounted only on the base. They can serve as plywood or boards. The material is laid quite tightly to the surface itself, it should be fixed with the help of self-tapping umbrellas. If calculation required amount insulation will be produced right, then at the end of the work there may not be any leftovers.

// THE END Right Col ?>
URSA GEO P-15 belongs to the class of universal heaters that perfectly tolerate chemical exposure. It has a low heat conductivity index, is non-combustible, there are no negative corrosion agents in it, resilient, elastic, thanks to which it adheres well to the structure. All these qualities make the insulation simply indispensable for the insulation of frame walls and partitions.

These simple rules will help to carry out high-quality work on the insulation and soundproofing of premises and will help to avoid many mistakes when working with URSA GEO materials.

Shipping

When transporting URSA GEO, protect the material from rain, snow and possible damage. When loading into a vehicle or van, do not squeeze material packages. Also, do not over-tighten the material with lashing ropes and other transport devices. This is due to the fact that the material in the package is already in a compressed state, and additional compression can lead to a deterioration in the recoverability of its thickness. Stack packages with boards horizontally in the car body. When carrying media in a roll or bundle, do not handle the media by the open edge of the packaging at the end. This may cause premature damage to the package.

Storage

During storage, protect URSA GEO from atmospheric precipitation. Store the material in packaged form in covered, dry rooms or under a canopy. When storing outdoors under a canopy, do not lay the packages on the ground, but place them on pallets. Pack packages with boards in horizontal position, install rolls vertically (up to 3 tiers inclusive).

Unpacking

Remove material from packaging immediately before use on site. This will greatly reduce the risk of damage to the material. The packaging can be used to protect the material from contamination when laid out on the construction site or as bags for collecting construction debris.

When unpacking mats (rolls):

Open the package by cutting it sharp knife(It is recommended to start the cut from the edge of the roll, having previously made two cuts of the film at the end).
Roll out the insulation mats to their full length.
Wait 5-10 minutes or shake the rolled sheet slightly: the material should regain its nominal thickness.

Some URSA mats GEO are supplied in packs of 2, eg URSA GEO M-11 (2×50 mm). In this case, if you need to use 50 mm thick material, the mats must be separated from each other after unpacking. When unpacking the boards, simply open the package.

Mounting

When working with the material, it is recommended to wear gloves and protective clothing; when laying material overhead, it is also recommended to wear safety goggles. These security requirements are the same for all mineral wool insulation(fiberglass, stone wool, slag wool) and serve mainly to protect against dust that occurs when working with the material. Cut the material with a sharp long knife on a hard surface. Do not use blunt blades, as this may cause the fibers to “pull out” of the material and reduce its quality.

When installing materials in the structure, follow the recommendations indicated on our website, or the recommendations of manufacturers thermal insulation systems. Only use URSA GEO grades that are recommended for use in a particular design.

The standard thickness of many URSA GEO materials is 50 mm. In this case, the required thickness of thermal insulation in the structure can be 100, 150 or 200 mm. For getting required thickness lay the material in several layers. For example, to obtain a thickness of 150 mm, you can lay a material with a thickness of 50 mm in 3 layers. You can find out what thickness of thermal insulation is needed using our calculator.

When installing, install insulating materials tightly to each other and to the base. When laying slabs in several layers, it is recommended to place the slab joints with an overlap - so that the slab of the next layer overlaps the junction of the plates of the previous layer by at least 10 cm. This will avoid through cracks and “cold bridges”. When installed in a frame, the width of the material should be 1-2 cm greater than the distance between the elements of the frame in the light. Then the material is held in frame structure due to the forces of elastic spacer arising from the compression of fiberglass.

Final work

After completion of work and before removing material waste, spray the work site with water. This will reduce the amount of dust in the air during cleaning. Cleaning is best done with a vacuum cleaner. To collect waste material and other construction debris, you can use the packaging remaining from the insulation.
