Yutafol D - subroofing diffusion microperforated film

This is a three-layer material consisting of a carrier woven reinforcing polyethylene mesh, which is laminated on both sides with a polyethylene film. The reinforcing mesh gives the film high strength, and double-sided lamination provides good waterproofing properties of the film.

Functions

Serves as a vapor-permeable roofing film to protect roofing spaces from dust, soot and moisture resulting from rain and snow, and in attic spaces protects thermal insulation from external moisture and at the same time creates the possibility, thanks to microperforation, to ventilate water vapor. The film is for ventilated systems only sloping roofs, and also as a waterproofing of wall structures when installing a film between the main bearing wall and siding.

Specification

Films UTAFOL D Standard, UTAFOL D Special consist of three layers: the main one is a reinforcing mesh made of polyethylene strips; and two external, made of polyethylene film. The reinforcing mesh gives strength to the material, double-sided lamination provides waterproofing properties, and the microperforation made creates the possibility of vapor permeability. In addition, this group includes UTAPHOL D Silver film. On the surface of some films, approximately 12 cm from the edge, there is a colored stripe, indicating a vapor-permeable version of the film. In addition, the color bar determines the recommended horizontal surface overlap with the subsequent film web. More detailed information regarding overlap is given in the table.

The film is wound on a roll in such a way that it can be easily rolled out on the roof, with the exception of the UTAPHOL D Silver film. It has a width of 1.4 and 1.5 meters with a length of 50 m and different densities - from 96 to 220 g/m2. The film, thanks to the raw materials included in its composition, has a long service life. In addition, it is not subject to rotting, mold, does not lend itself to pests and does not adversely affect health.

Usage

These films can be used for all types of roofs (Ondulin, Katepal, Frankfurt shingles, etc.) and siding. The film should be stored away from UV rays. It has a reduced flammability, tk. contains a self-extinguishing reagent. Does not support fire in case of fire.

Quality assurance.

JSC UTA pays great attention to technical improvement and quality control of roofing films, membranes, vapor barrier films. Films and membranes are manufactured in accordance with the ISO 9001 quality management system. Quality is controlled in our own laboratory, as well as in independent domestic and foreign testing centers.

Application:

Protective under-roofing layer of corrugated coating, large profiled coatings in inclined roof structures Protective layer in roofing, wall, floor structures. Protective under-roof waterproofing layer in two- and three-frame sloped roof structures Vapor-tight protection in sloped and flat roof structures (roof waterproofing, roof waterproofing) Vapor-tight protection in wall and floor structures Reflective vapor-tight protection

Main functions.

Using correct design structure and the combination of an under roof waterproofing layer, a vapor barrier and a suitable thermal insulation layer, can be provided on long time optimal properties roofing and wall structures. This applies mainly to the required parameters of the diffusion balance, conservation thermal resistance structures, ensuring the watertightness of the structure. At correct application underlaying films, due to their properties, ensure the waterproofness of the structure - both during the installation of the roofing, and as a waterproofing layer throughout the entire life of the roofing. The materials also ensure the release of water vapor into the outer space of the object. Thus, the melted snow, blown by the wind, rainwater or condensate will not disappear from the roof for inner material designs. At correct installation thanks to vapor-tight films, there is no moistening of the heat-insulating layers, which would lead to a significant increase in thermal conductivity. Therefore, the materials ensure a long service life of thermal insulation and prevent the occurrence of condensation in roof and wall structures, since water vapor does not penetrate into the dew point area in the thermal insulation space. In addition, the structure is air-tight and heat leakage is prevented. For connecting vapor barrier films, connectors are supplied. self-adhesive tapes UTAFOL SP 1 and UTAFOL SP AL,.

Material Handling and Transport

Transportation is carried out in clean vehicles. Despite the fact that each film and membrane is packed in polyethylene to avoid contamination, care must be taken during loading and other types of work so that mechanical damage and rupture of the film or membrane does not occur. Products are stored in a room where UV radiation does not reach. The materials can be used in structures where the temperature range in the material placement area is from -40 o C to +80 o C. It is recommended to connect vapor-tight and roofing films, membranes with a tape at a temperature above +5 o C.

Underroofing waterproofing anti-condensate film YUTAKON is used in ventilated inclined roofing systems to protect the interior of the house from the penetration of external moisture (rain and snow), soot, and dust.
