Flint stone composition. Flint is a valuable natural mineral

Actually flint (lat. Silicon) is a stone, a kind of minerals - quartz, chalcedony, opal, etc., which include the element silicon (lat. Silicium) in the form of its oxide - silicon dioxide SiO2. In addition to flint, the group of these minerals includes both carnelian and jasper, rhinestone, agate, opal, amethyst and many other stones. The basis of these minerals is silicon dioxide SiO2 or silica. The composition of flints, in addition to silica, includes about 20 chemical elements, the main of which are Mg, Ca, P, Sr, Mn, Cu, Zn, etc. Hence the so many names. But the most famous among the representatives of this family is undoubtedly flint.

But silicon (Silicium - lat.) chemical element, atomic number 14, IV group of the periodic system. Silicon atoms form the basis of clay, sand and rocks. Most of the earth's crust consists of inorganic silicon compounds (28 vol.%). We can say that the entire inorganic world is associated with silicon. AT natural conditions silicon minerals are also found in calcite and chalk. Silicon is second only to oxygen in terms of reserves in earth's crust element and makes up about a third of its total weight. Every 6th atom in the earth's crust is a silicon atom. AT sea water silicon contains even more than phosphorus, which is so necessary for life on Earth. In our body, silicon is found in the thyroid gland, adrenal glands, pituitary gland. Its highest concentration is found in hair and nails. Silicon is also part of collagen, the main protein in connective tissue. Its main role is to participate in chemical reaction, fastening individual fibers of collagen and elastin, giving the connective tissue strength and elasticity. The lack of silicon in the body leads to: osteomalacia (softening of the bones); diseases of the eyes, teeth, nails, skin and hair; accelerated deterioration of articular cartilage; erysipelas of the skin; stones in the liver and kidneys; dysbiosis; atherosclerosis. A relationship has been found between the concentration of silicon in drinking water and cardiovascular diseases. Tuberculosis, diabetes, leprosy, hepatitis, hypertension, cataracts, arthritis, cancer are accompanied by a decrease in the concentration of silicon in tissues and organs, or disturbances in its metabolism. Meanwhile, our body loses silicon daily - on average, we consume 3.5 mg of silicon per day with food and water, and lose about 9 mg.

Therefore, when I wrote about the properties of the mineral flint, I had in mind mainly the properties of the main silicon element included in its composition, since all healing properties minerals are determined precisely by silicon. What are these properties of silicon? It has been established, for example, that the element silicon in the body is involved in the exchange of fluorine, magnesium, aluminum, and other mineral compounds, but interacts especially closely with strontium and calcium. One of the mechanisms of action of silicon is that due to its chemical properties he creates electrically charged colloidal systems with silicic acid and water, which have the ability to adsorb viruses and pathogens that are unusual for humans. Silicon is also responsible for providing protective functions, metabolic processes and detoxification. It works as a biological "cross-linking" agent involved in the formation of the molecular "architecture" of polysaccharides and their complexes with proteins, gives elasticity to connective tissues, is part of the elastin of blood vessels, gives strength, elasticity and impermeability to their walls and prevents the penetration of lipids into the blood plasma. . Studies have shown that silicon in water suppresses bacteria that cause fermentation and decay, precipitates heavy metals, neutralizes chlorine, and absorbs radionuclides. In a living organism, biologically active substances of silicon, together with protein structures, contribute to the formation of enzymes, amino acids, and hormones. Silicon is especially needed in connective tissue; it is found in the thyroid gland, adrenal glands, and pituitary gland. A lot of silicon in the hair. The highest concentration of silicon is found in hair and nails.

Therefore, in this context - the context of the physicochemical component of the structure of the mineral, its properties and biological effects, it was mainly about its main constituent element silicon, but when we consider the effect of water activation by silicon, it would be more correct to consider not the element silicon, but the mineral flint. After all, according to the logic of things, when interacting with water, it is the mineral flint that changes its properties, but again due to the same silicon element that is part of it.

It is thanks to silicon and its ability to form positively charged colloids (SiO 2 x H 2 0) with water that activated water has a detrimental effect on microorganisms, suppresses bacteria that cause decay and fermentation, active precipitation of heavy metal compounds occurs in it, water becomes clean in appearance and good-tasting, she long time does not deteriorate and acquires many other healing qualities. For me, as a chemist, this is clear and obvious and does not cause visible contradictions. And for the reader, this may seem unusual. Therefore, it is likely that in future popularizations scientific knowledge about flint water, these terms should still be distinguished.

Ph.D. O.V. Mosin

Silicon - silicate material

Question:

Oleg, in an article about silicon water, apparently you wanted to write silicate material - silicon. Alexander

Answer:

Hello, Alexander! I apologize if there is a typo in the text of the article. Finally, in the article we are talking about silicates - salts of silicic acids. Silicates are formed by combining silicon dioxide and oxide of another chemical element. More than a third of the minerals known today belong to the class of silicates and aluminosilicates (silicates in which part of the silicon atoms are replaced by aluminum atoms), which together make up to 95% of the mass of the earth's crust.

The crystal lattice of silicates consists of the so-called silicon-oxygen tetrahedra, which are a silicon atom connected to four oxygen atoms. Silicates have an ionic structure, therefore they cannot be classified according to the composition of the anionic part. According to the structure of the crystal lattice, silicates and aluminosilicates are divided into island (olivine, garnet), ring (beryl, tourmaline, emerald), chain (enstatite, bronzite, ferrosilite), ribbon (hornblende), layered (kaolinite, serpentine, micas) and most common - frame (quartz, feldspar). The group of these minerals also includes carnelian, jasper, rock crystal, agate, opal, amethyst and many other stones.

The basis of these minerals is silicon dioxide or silica, but the density, color, and some other properties are different. The composition of flints, in addition to silica, includes about 20 chemical elements, the main of which are Mg, Ca, P, Sr, Mn, Cu, Zn, etc. Hence the so many names. But the most famous among the representatives of this family is undoubtedly silicon. Most of the earth's crust consists of inorganic silicon compounds (28 vol.%). Silicon atoms form the basis of clay, sand and rocks. We can say that the entire inorganic world is associated with silicon. Under natural conditions, silicon minerals are found in calcite and chalk.

Thus, silicon is the second most abundant element in the earth's crust after oxygen and accounts for about a third of its total weight. Every 6th atom in the earth's crust is a silicon atom. Sea water contains even more silicon than phosphorus, which is so necessary for life on Earth.

As for silicates, most of them are refractory, chemically passive materials, practically insoluble in water. At different temperatures, they can be in solid, liquid (molten) or gaseous state, and are also capable of forming colloidal systems.

Silicate materials can be of both natural and artificial origin. Human civilization began with primitive people learned how to process natural silicates, including silicon and obsidian, and make tools from them for hunting and processing prey. And then sculpt and fire primitive ceramic dishes from silicate clay.

Today natural silicate materials are widely used in construction and industry - both as a raw material and as a final product.

Silica serves as a raw material for the cement industry - the base in the production of modern building materials. Silicate clays are the main raw material for the manufacture building ceramics- bricks and tiles.

Quartz sand It has also been used since ancient times for the manufacture of glass and ceramics, as various additives and in its pure form. Non-combustible hydrosilicate asbestos is widely used for the manufacture of heat-shielding products and coatings.

Sodium silicate, also known as water glass also used in a wide variety of areas of production and to improve the quality of construction and paintwork materials. A homogeneous solution of liquid sodium glass has astringent properties and in combination with other substances is capable of rapid hardening and the formation of durable silicate stones. The film formed during the drying of soluble sodium silicate has high insulating and protective properties, prevents corrosion, destruction and combustion.

Flint - an amazing natural phenomenon - a mineralogical formation, consisting of quartz and chalcedony (note that there is no chemical element under the similar name "silicon" in this mineral). It was formed in the sediments of warm reservoirs of the Cretaceous period and contains the remains of microorganisms, ferns, gymnosperms, and then angiosperms and flowering plants.

Belarusian scientists believe that organic residues in flint are biocatalysts capable of processing light energy and accelerating redox reactions in water by tens of thousands of times!

Ordinary water, treated with flint, turns into effective remedy, preserved for long years. Water activated by flint is purified from pathogenic microorganisms and acquires unique healing properties, transparency, freshness and pleasant taste.

Silicon water strengthens the human immune system.

I have read several of your publications on the Internet about the properties of water, and found many interesting facts which I suppose should be known modern humanity! To be honest, I think that it is necessary to tell our children about water in more detail in their deep childhood!

Oleg Viktorovich, in our region, there are a lot of silicon and Orthodox shrines (Pochaev Lavra and other churches). Silicon is sold to tourists on tray layouts under various pretexts - both as a panacea for all diseases, and as a stone that gives vitality, happiness, and even as protection against radiation from computer monitors. :) Probably, Ostap Bender would be very surprised by everything possible application this mineral.

In a way, I want to take a step towards high-quality informing citizens, by the way, we have a lot of tourists from Russia. I want to sell this interesting flint as a souvenir and as a natural bioactivator but with true information without quackery. After all, people should have access to scientific materials?

With all respect, Andrew
Western Ukraine

Hello dear Andrey!

Flint is very valuable natural mineral. The whole human civilization began with the development of flint. Of course, there are many legends and tales about flint. It has long been noted that if flint stones are placed in water or in a well, then the water will remain clean and transparent for a long time and will taste good.

The properties of flint are explained by the composition of the elements that form the mineral, the main of which silicon (Si) is the second element after oxygen in terms of reserves in the earth's crust and makes up about a third of its total weight. It is estimated that every 6 atom in the earth's crust is a silicon atom. In addition to silicon, the mineral contains about 20 chemical elements, the main of which are Mg, Ca, P, Sr, Mn, Cu, Zn, etc. Silicon is a very important element for the body. It is found in the thyroid gland, adrenal glands, pituitary gland. Its highest concentration is found in hair and nails. Silicon is also part of collagen, the main protein in connective tissue. In a living organism, silicon, together with protein structures, contributes to the formation of enzymes, amino acids, and hormones. Its main role is participation in a chemical reaction that holds individual collagen and elastin fibers together, giving connective tissue strength and elasticity. In details Scientific research about the role of silicon for human health are covered in the monographs of V. Krivenko and others "Lithotherapy", M., 1994, E. Mikheeva "Healing properties of silicon", S-P, 2002, the works of M. Voronkov and I. Kuznetsov (AS USSR , Sib. otd., 1984), A. Panicheva, L. Zardashvili, N. Semenova, etc. It is shown that silicon is involved in the exchange of fluorine, magnesium, aluminum, and other minerals, but interacts especially closely with strontium and calcium. One mechanism of silicon's action is that, due to its chemical properties, it creates electrically charged colloidal systems that have the ability to adsorb heavy metals and pathogens.

A person should consume 10-20 mg of silicon daily with vegetables, fruits, milk, meat and other products. This amount is necessary for normal life, growth and development of the body.

Studies have shown that silicon in water suppresses bacteria that cause fermentation and decay, precipitates heavy metals and radionuclides, and neutralizes chlorine. The mechanism of the cleansing effect of flint on water is that when the mineral interacts with water, colloids are formed from silicic acid, on which harmful impurities and foreign microflora. In addition to this, the process of enrichment (conditioning) of water with useful micro- and macroelements, which are part of the flint, takes place. There is an opinion that bright yellow-red-brown flint minerals should be used for water treatment, in contrast to dark black minerals, since only they contain full squad macro- and microelements.

The analogue of flint in water treatment and water treatment is the natural silicon-containing mineral shungite. I personally use shungite for water purification and conditioning. Here, perhaps, is the minimum truthful information.

Sincerely, O.V. Mosin

Silicon has been used for water purification relatively recently. Although this mineral has been known for a long time and is quite often found in nature, it was only in the 70s of the XX century that they were able to prove its healing properties. Before we talk about how to use silicon for water purification, let's decide on the names. Silicon is a chemical element, flint is a mineral containing silicon. chemical name flint is silicon oxide. It is used to purify water.

Flint is a natural mineral, which includes the element silicon in the form of its oxide - silicon dioxide SiO2

Silicon in history

Flint is a black, dark gray or light color. It is considered the stone that marked the beginning of human civilization. Throughout the century, flint served as a material for making tools and making fire. Ancient philosophers mentioned flint in their treatises, pointing to its healing properties. They cut off warts, used them to decorate walls in rooms where meat was stored, and, crushed into powder, used to sprinkle wounds, which prevented gangrene. The mills operated silicon millstones, which made it possible to obtain flour of excellent quality. Flint laid out the bottom of the wells and their inner surface, and it was noticed that people who drink water from such wells get sick less. Even then, attention was paid to the quality of silicon water: it was unusually transparent, tasty and healing. It turns out that interacting with water, flint changes its properties.

Silicon-activated water is detrimental to bacteria that cause putrefaction and fermentation. Such water becomes very clean and pleasant to the taste, since heavy metal compounds are actively precipitated in it.

Silicon in nature

The most common pebbles, it turns out, also contain silicon

This substance is found in nature in the form of well-known minerals - chalcedony, quartz, opal and others. This group includes rock crystal, and carnelian, and all varieties of jasper, and agate, and opal, and amethyst. Silicon dioxide or silica forms the basis of these minerals. They differ in density, color and some other properties. The composition of flints includes about 20 different chemical elements. These are magnesium, calcium, manganese, zinc and many others. That is why there are so many names of minerals based on silicon. But the most famous among them is undoubtedly flint, which is found in large quantities in the earth's crust. It is used to purify water.

Silicon (Silicium) is a chemical element that occupies number 14 of the D.I. Mendeleev, IV group. Silicon atoms form the basis of sand, rocks, and clay. The whole inorganic world is connected with silicon. Silicon minerals in natural conditions are found in chalk and calcite.

In the human body, silicon is found in the thyroid, pituitary, and adrenal glands. The highest concentration of this substance is found in the nails and hair. Silicon is part of collagen. It is a connective tissue protein whose main role is to participate in the chemical reaction that binds together individual elastin and collagen fibers, which gives elasticity to connective tissues.

Studies have shown that in nature, silicon suppresses bacteria that cause fermentation and decay, neutralizes chlorine, precipitates heavy metals, and removes radionuclides. Biologically active substances of silicon, interacting with protein structures in a living organism, promote the formation of enzymes, hormones, amino acids.

How to use silicon for water purification

Replaceable cartridge for the filter jug with silicon provides high-quality water purification

Speaking about the beneficial properties of silicon for the human body, we first of all remember water. After all, our body contains about 70 ml of water, so it is quite difficult to imagine life without water. All types of metabolism are carried out through the aquatic environment. Flint is known to be a natural water purifier. What is silicon water or water purified by silicon?

Silicon Water is an aqueous tincture of dark brown flint. It should be used internally and externally. Using silicon to purify water is very simple. It is enough to put 40-50 g of small flint stones of bright brown color (but not black) into a glass container, fill them with tap or filtered water and find a place for this jar on the table, which is protected from direct sun rays. Water is infused for 2-3 days, after which it is ready for use.

If, observing the same technology, tie the neck of the jar with gauze in 2-3 layers and put the water for 5-7 days in a bright place where the temperature is not higher than 5 degrees C, the resulting water can be used both as drinking and in as therapeutic water.

It is forbidden to boil water with silicon in it. Purified water can be used as needed for drinking and cooking. But the bottom layer, which covered the stones, must be drained, do not use this water for drinking. Don't forget to rinse the stones with water. This is done in order to remove impurities that have settled on the stones. After washing, it is recommended to hold the flint for fresh air at least 2 hours.

How often should the filter element be changed?

Remember also that flint in water will not last forever. Change stones every 6-8 months. You can control the work of flint in another way: when a gray coating appears on the surface of the stones, it means that it is time to replace it. You can slightly “reanimate” the flint as follows: if a gray coating or layers appear on the surface of the stones, they should be poured with a 2% solution of acetic acid or held for 2 hours in salt water. After that, the stones are rinsed again cold water and lowered for another 2 hours in a solution of baking soda. After rinsing the flint after baking soda, it can be used again. True, not for long - until the next manifestations of wear, and they will not take long to wait.

On sale you can find replaceable filter jug cartridgesbased on silicon. The filter module is equipped with a silicon mineralizer. Passing through a silicon filter, the water is purified and saturated with minerals.

Useful properties of silicon-purified water

Silicon water activator gives it beneficial properties for human health

The use of silicon water is the prevention of many diseases. In addition to the fact that it has a positive effect on the general condition of the body, silicon water

  • strengthens the immune system;
  • increases the number of T- and B-lymphocytes in the blood;
  • promotes rapid healing of cuts, bruises, burns, ulcers;
  • helps with indigestion;
  • promotes the outflow of bile, therefore, improves the condition of people who suffer from liver diseases;
  • helps to lower blood sugar levels;
  • normalizes metabolism, which means it regulates weight;
  • helps to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood, which means it is the prevention of atherosclerosis;
  • improves kidney function;
  • normalizes the state of hypertensive patients;
  • increases the overall tone of the body.

Silicon-purified water can also be used externally. So, washing with this water improves the condition of the skin, reduces the number of wrinkles, prevents the appearance of new ones, eliminates acne, blackheads, and bumps. Rinsing the hair and rubbing water infused with flint on the scalp strengthens the hair and stimulates its growth. Silicon water helps with viral diseases oral cavity, gingivitis and stomatitis.

Which type of silicon is suitable for drinking water treatment

Water purification with silicon should be approached with caution, as there are some contraindications and limitations.

In nature, there are more than 700 varieties of flint. It can be flint of volcanic or relict origin. Which silicon should be used to purify water? Scientists believe that black flint should not be used, recommending exclusively brown. Others believe that the best flint for water purification is dark gray or black relic flint. Therefore, we cannot recommend any specific type of silicon, just as we cannot advise the use of water purified by flint. This article is for informational purposes only. If you are interested in flint water purification, and whether you can use it, ask your doctor this question. Along with data on the positive effect of silicon on the human body, there are data on contraindications. So, people who have a predisposition to cancer should generally refuse to use flint-purified water.

Inhalations with shungite water for angina and bronchitis are done in the same way as any other inhalations, with the only difference that nothing is added to the water. It needs to be heated, not bringing it to a boil, and breathe over the steam for 1-3 minutes. Of course, the head is covered with either a towel or a light blanket.

Shungite paste

For skin care and treatment of joints, you can use shungite pastes, both homemade and industrial production. The consistency of the paste is similar to black sour cream. It consists of finely ground shungite powder mixed with a special shungite infusion. To prepare it yourself, grind the mineral into powder or take it ready and mix it with water until sour cream thickens. Shungite paste must be thoroughly mixed before use, as it begins to delaminate during storage. Apply the paste to the skin in a thin, even layer 0.5-1 mm thick, cover with a film and a warm cloth. The duration of such an application is determined by the doctor. The paste has a warming effect, especially if the applications last from 30 minutes to 1.5-2 hours. As a result, blood microcirculation improves, metabolic processes increase, which means that tissue nutrition improves. Then the paste is washed off warm water. If necessary, lubricate the skin with olive oil.

Shungite paste treats not only skin-allergic diseases, dermatitis, psoriasis, neurodermatitis, but also the consequences of injuries, diseases of the joints and spine. The procedure for applying the paste is the same as in the treatment of skin diseases, only the jar of paste is preheated in water to 37-40 degrees, and the application is kept for 4-5 hours.

One young woman told me that for a long time she suffered from an incomprehensible misfortune. As soon as she got nervous, washed the dishes or washed the clothes, the skin between her fingers began to get wet and itchy. Shungite paste applications helped. For several years now, she has not known what unbearable itching and weeping skin are.

If you want to cleanse the skin of your face, saturate it with useful substances, make a shungite mask. Dilute the shungite powder to the state of liquid sour cream. Take a cotton cloth, fold it into 4 layers and soak it in this solution. Then apply the cloth on the face and neck, hold for 10 minutes, and then remove the remnants of the mask with a damp cloth. You know, of course, that nourishing masks are best done before bed.

Be careful! The use of shungite pastes is contraindicated if you suffer from cardiovascular diseases, if you currently have an exacerbation of any chronic inflammation, as well as in malignant and benign formations and a tendency to thrombosis.

Shungite paste can be used in combination with other medicinal and physiotherapeutic means, including taking baths mineralized with shungite mixture and foot massage with shungite rubble.

So, studies and practice of using shungite have shown that water infusions on shungite and shungite pastes, due to the unique bactericidal properties of shungite, have a pronounced anti-allergic, antipruritic and anti-inflammatory effect.

They are effective in the treatment of allergies, skin, respiratory, gynecological, muscle, joint and other diseases.

Shungite baths and shungite chips

We have already talked about the beneficial effects of shungite baths on the skin condition. It should be added that these baths also help with osteochondrosis, sciatica, relieve itching with allergies and others. skin diseases have a positive effect on the joints. To prepare a shungite bath, you need to put the mineral or its granules in a cloth bag and lower it into the bath for ten minutes. Rinse it for a while in water so that as much as possible comes out. useful material. The water temperature should not be more than 37–40 degrees, and the reception time should be longer than 25–30 minutes. It is best to take such a bath half an hour to an hour before bedtime. They are very useful for improving general well-being, because they relieve fatigue, increase efficiency, improve blood circulation, and simply give a person energy.

One day I met a girl in the library. For some reason, I immediately drew attention to her hands: reddish wrinkled skin, at the same time similar to the skin of an old woman and skin that is renewed after a burn. It is quite difficult to describe this, but the impression remains somehow ambivalent: on the one hand, it is not very pleasant to look at, on the other hand, there is a desire to ask what is wrong with the hands and help. Later, when we got to know each other better, Olga said that she had suffered from neurodermatitis since childhood. Permanent diets, ointments, pills, weeping combed skin ... Every spring an exacerbation began, sometimes so strong that there was practically no clean skin left, and again I had to go to the hospital, undergo a course of treatment, otherwise it was impossible to go outside. Due to illness, she could not get a job and for about three years she sat at home, trying to cope with her sores. This went on for many years, until one of her friends told Olga about shungite baths. I think that she agreed to them rather out of desperation, because almost everything was tried. The results simply shocked us all. Literally after two or three baths, the sores and scratching began to disappear, the skin seemed to be renewed before our eyes, and soon the disease receded.

Why, when coming to the beach, walking through the forest, do we always take off our shoes and try to walk barefoot at least a little? Yes, because in this way we - consciously or unconsciously - massage the feet, which means that we are trying to influence certain organs in this way. You probably noticed an amazing feeling of lightness in your legs after walking barefoot on the ground, grass, pebbles or sand. As a result of such a massage, our tissues and organs begin to be better supplied with blood, which is why a person feels rested and refreshed. There are no direct contraindications for such a massage. Standing on shungite chips or gravel has a similar effect, only more effective.

After filming the film “Station for Two,” Lyudmila Gurchenko once said in an interview that she realized how hard the work of sellers and waitresses was. Still would! Try to spend the whole day on your feet - and you will feel that by the evening your legs are just “buzzing”. Teachers, machine operators, and anyone who has to walk or stand a lot in their line of work will tell you the same thing. How to relieve fatigue? Someone makes salt baths for their feet, someone rests, putting a roller under their feet. But there is much more effective way: stand on shungite chips. One to three minutes is enough to feel the subsidence nervous tension, the pain in the legs is gone. Very sick or elderly people who find it difficult to stand can put their feet in a box of rubble while sitting in a chair. But in this case, the duration of the procedure increases to one hour or more.

The duration of a foot massage with shungite rubble is determined individually and depends on the condition of your of cardio-vascular system as well as associated diseases. To understand how long a massage should take you, measure your blood pressure before and after the procedure. If there is no significant deviation in the direction of increasing or decreasing pressure, then the procedure time is chosen correctly.

Regular foot massage good prevention many diseases. In addition, after the massage, the state of health improves, sleep normalizes, pains in the joints and muscles of the legs, back, and spine are similar, blood circulation is restored, nervous overexcitation is removed, and the immune system as a whole is strengthened.

With the help of shungite pellets, you can massage the whole body. To do this, lubricate the skin and hands vegetable oil, better olive, take a few pellets in a handful and, as it were, rub them into the body. This procedure enhances blood circulation in the lumbar region, crushes kidney stones and has a great effect on the spine.

Scientists of Karelian state university It is suggested that on the basis of shungite it is possible to develop a number of drugs:

Shungite-carbon hemosorbents for purification of blood, lymph, bile and various liquids from toxic substances, salts of heavy metals, microorganisms;

Shungite bandages for dressing wounds and in order to ensure the immobility of the limbs in case of open fractures during the transportation of the victim;

Shungite sorbent tablets for oral administration in case of intoxication, poisoning, disorders of the gastrointestinal tract;

Shungite ointment "Shungilin" for the treatment of wounds and skin diseases;

Shungite electrodes for studying the state of the brain, heart, muscular system, as well as for implantable pacemakers.

From shungite chips you can make protective screen if your apartment is located in a geopathic zone. To do this, a layer of crumbs 2–10 cm thick is poured under the floor. In extreme cases, make such a layer under the bed. But screen sizes should be smaller than the bed.

Shungite pyramids

Scientists have long been saying that shape has an energetic effect (for example, the shape of buildings or honeycombs).

Think of the Egyptian pyramids. Why do products last much longer in them than in normal conditions, the seeds become biologically more active, even cancer-affected tissues are healed?

Experts have proven that the orientation of the pyramid to the cardinal points, parameters, shape and some other factors contribute to the emergence of a strong biofield around it.

The shungite pyramid is an exact copy of the Egyptian one. It also creates a special field around itself - a protective one, and the radius of its action is much larger than that of a pyramid of jade or quartz, for example. If the edges of such a pyramid are at least 10 cm, it can “clear” the space whole room. Put a shungite pyramid on your desktop and after some time you will feel that you and your colleagues have become calmer, work is done without stress and much more productive, and your general condition will improve significantly.

Absorbing harmful radiation, the pyramid protects us from the negative effects of the TV or computer. Only you need to put it next to, and not on top, because the protective qualities of the pyramid appear only above the plane on which it stands.

Of course, you have heard more than once how they say about someone: “Heavy person!” or "He has a heavy eye!". In the presence of such a person, you usually feel uncomfortable and tense, negative waves simply emanate from him. So, the shungite pyramid serves as a "shield" from the negative energy impact of such people.

In general, as O. A. Rysyev writes, this pyramid “helps to reduce headaches, relieves spinal and rheumatic pains, improves the psycho-emotional state, increases tone and performance, and normalizes sleep” 5
Rysiev O. A. Shungite is a stone of health. St. Petersburg: Tessa, 2001.

Can any remedy for healing be at the same time an adornment? Maybe if key rings, bracelets and beads are made of shungite. Their wearing has a beneficial effect on the body. The same “healing decoration” is served by landscapes on shungite. By hanging several landscapes in the room, you will restore the positive energy of the room, eliminate the harmful effects of geopathogenic zones. And if a shungite panel decorates a school class? Can you imagine what the atmosphere would be like there?

More recently, a shungite-based shampoo has been developed. It prevents hair loss, gives them splendor and even eliminates gray hair.

Of course, the properties of shungite have not been fully studied, so the opinions of scientists about the safety of its use differ. Nevertheless, statistics confirm that in about 90% of cases of treatment with shungite-based preparations, the condition improves and only in 10% remains unchanged. But once again we recall: self-treatment does not always bring positive results. Therefore, it is better to consult a doctor who is familiar with the method of shungite treatment, and you can only carry out preventive and restorative procedures on your own.

Silicon and flint

To begin with, let's understand what is the difference between silicon and flint. Silicon is a chemical element found in most rocks. And flint is a mineral consisting of silica, i.e. silicon dioxide, a very hard stone. Of course, you know that in the Stone Age they used it to make fire, make axes, arrowheads, knives for butchering carcasses, etc.

The Latin name of silicon - silicium comes from one of the names of silica - silic, which means "strong" in translation, and Russian - from the ancient Russian name of the stone "flint".

We will start the conversation with silicon.

Silicon and our health

In nature, silicon exists only in the form of various compounds, and in terms of abundance on Earth it ranks second (29.5%) after oxygen (47%). The content of other elements is much less. Despite the fact that fundamental studies of silicon were carried out in Russia and the conclusions of Russian researchers are confirmed by scientists from other countries, until recently, official medicine practically did not pay attention to its role in the human body. Meanwhile, this role is so great that the words of V. I. Vernadsky “no organism can exist without silicon” should be taken literally.

Plants absorb silicon from the soil. But if it is not enough or not at all in the earth? You can be sure that this will negatively affect the heading, growth and yield of cereals, especially rice. The lack of silicon does not like vegetables, in particular, tomatoes and cucumbers, potatoes, beets and carrots.

A person needs at least 10 mg of silicon daily for normal life. He gets them with different products.

How important and huge is the role of silicon in the human body, you will understand from the following quote:

“A lot of silicon is found in the connective tissue, in the lungs, in the glands (adrenals, thyroid and pancreas, thymus, lymph nodes), in some tissues of the eye (iris and cornea), in the aorta, trachea, cartilage, bones, tendons, enamel teeth. Among the internal organs, the leaders in the content of this element are the lymph nodes (0.6 g per 1 kg), where silicon can be present in the form of individual quartz grains, and the thyroid gland (about 0.03%), then the adrenal glands go in descending order (0.025% ), pituitary gland (0.008%), lungs (0.004-0.008%), muscles (0.0002-0.0008%), blood (0.0002-0.0003%) " 6
Baranov A., Baranov T. How to support health with plants and silicon // Flora Price. No. 16 (53). www.floraprice.ru

What has been established by scientists so far?

Silicon maintains the balance of metabolism. If silicon is not enough, then more than 70 other elements are not absorbed by the body. Therefore, not only our health, but also the occurrence of certain diseases largely depends on it.

The chemical properties of silicon are such that it is able to create special colloidal compounds in the body. 7
From Greek. holla- glue and eidos- view.

Systems that absorb viruses and microorganisms that are harmful to humans.

What threatens the lack of silicon? Hair begins to fall out (balding men, maybe you should pay attention to this?), nails become brittle, a number of serious diseases can develop. To name just a few of them: diabetes mellitus, hepatitis, encephalitis, goiter, erysipelas of the skin, diseases of the connective tissue and the eye lens, stones in the liver and kidneys, softening of the joints, atherosclerosis ... By the way, from the latter - one step to angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, cardiosclerosis, cardiac arrhythmia, stroke, mental disorders.

The strength and elasticity of our blood vessels also depend on silicon, because it prevents the deposition of cholesterol on the walls of blood vessels.

How can you determine that the body lacks silicon? We have already named the two simplest signs - brittle nails and loss or poor growth hair. In addition, you should be on the lookout for inflammation or irritation on the skin, long-healing wounds or poorly healed fractures, because they usually indicate a deficiency of silicon. Frequent bronchitis and inflammation of the lungs, vascular diseases (primarily atherosclerosis) and joints, a decrease in the body's resistance to certain diseases (for example, cancer) can also be the cause of its deficiency in the body.

N. A. Semenova believes that fungal diseases- a direct consequence of silicon deficiency: the fungus simply "devours" it. So, if you have such diseases, you can say with a high degree of certainty: your body lacks silicon.

What if it's enough? Probably the picture will be different. Why? Everything is explained by the properties of this element: silicon is in the body in a colloidal state, so it attracts various viruses and microorganisms that can cause disease, and removes them. The causative agents of various diseases simply die. In other words, silicon cleanses the body and thus prevents the development of disease.

How silicon defeats diseases

Atherosclerosis. N. A. Semenova, chemical engineer Food Industry and the doctor, believes that there is no such disease as atherosclerosis, but there is a deficiency of silicon. What happens to our vessels if the body lacks silicon?

Salts of calcium, fatty substances and cholesterol are deposited on their inner walls, and as a result, the lumen of the vessels gradually narrows. The consequences of the narrowing are clear even to a non-professional: the supply of blood to organs worsens, the elasticity of blood vessels decreases, which is provided by silicon (and it is displaced by calcium), and hence the development cardiovascular disease. This was established by Soviet scientists M. G. Voronkov and I. G. Kuznetsov.

1912 German physician Kühn discovered that silicon compounds prevent the development of atherosclerosis. And 45 years later, French scientists confirmed his conclusions: in people suffering from atherosclerosis, the content of silicon in the walls of blood vessels is much lower than in healthy people.

Compare for yourself: the normal content of silicon in the body is 4.7%. With a stroke or heart attack, it decreases to 1.2%, with cancer - up to 1.3, with diabetes - up to 1.4, with hepatitis - up to 1.6%. In an artery affected by atherosclerosis, the content of silicon can be 14 times less than in a healthy one. Silicon added to the diet slows down the development of the disease because it clears the aorta from sclerotic plaques.

Recently, we are increasingly seeing the words “Does not contain cholesterol” on product packaging. Have you ever wondered if this is good or bad? The fact is that not a single cell of our body can do without cholesterol, because it is part of their membranes, that is, it is needed for the construction of cells. Our problem is that we eat too many foods containing cholesterol, so it turns from a useful substance into a harmful one. But the most interesting thing is different: cholesterol is not absorbed and is not used to create new cells, also due to a lack of silicon, while the content in the blood fatty acids increases. According to M. G. Voronkov and I. G. Kuznetsov, silicon preparations can be administered before the penetration of cholesterol into the walls of blood vessels has begun, and then there will be no failures in the process of cell regeneration. If cholesterol has already begun to settle on the walls of blood vessels, then silicon preparations will sharply reduce the amount of fatty acids, which means that the development of atherosclerosis stops.

She writes:

“Let's put strontium, calcium and silicon in a series of activity of the elements and evaluate the situation of health loss among milk lovers today. Strontium is the most active element among those named. Its appearance in the human body immediately triggers displacement and substitution reactions for silicon and other less active elements. And since there is not enough silicon in the body, calcium quickly takes its place. Besides modern methods treatments for many diseases are associated with calcium preparations.

And another very interesting quote from the same book. Most likely, what it says will be a revelation for many:

“We not only do not care about the amount of silicon in the human body, but on the contrary, we do everything so that it does not enter the human body. The technology of processing fruits and vegetables in the industry is aimed at refining food, getting rid of the so-called ballast. Silicon goes into the production waste with the peel of the fruit, the core. The grain processing technology mainly involves the separation of the grain shell, which contains silicon. By a strange coincidence, the natural silicon shell from wheat is especially carefully peeled off for the production of semolina. It's meant for feeding children. They just need 3-5 times more silicon than adults. There is no silicon in semolina. When semolina is cooked, milk is added. And then in the child's body there is an unfortunate reaction of replacing silicon with calcium. That is why atherosclerosis and hundreds of other diseases have become younger. Children, fleeing from strontium, by intuition refuse to drink and eat dairy products. But children's nutritionists are firm in their directives - from 0.5 to 1.5 liters of milk per day for each child. And chronic diseases, the pictures of which are getting worse every day, afflict our children. Now we don’t have enough Russian strontium from milk, we still import it from Europe with yogurts and cheeses.”

You may have known about this before. But personally, this statement simply shocked me. Silicon deficiency in today's children, according to N. Semenova, is 50% or more. Comments, as they say, are unnecessary.

Silicon- very rare mineral appearance from the class of native elements. In fact, it is surprising how rare the chemical element silicon, which makes up bound form not less than 27.6% of the mass of the earth's crust, occurs in nature in its pure form. But silicon binds strongly with oxygen and is almost always in the form of silica - silicon dioxide, SiO 2 (quartz family) or as part of silicates (SiO 4 4-). Native silicon as a mineral was found in the products of volcanic fumes and as the smallest inclusions in native gold.

STRUCTURE

The crystal lattice of silicon is cubic face-centered like diamond, parameter a = 0.54307 nm (at high pressures other polymorphic modifications of silicon have also been obtained), but due to the longer bond length between Si-Si atoms compared to the length C-C connections silicon is much less hard than diamond. Has a voluminous structure. The nuclei of atoms, together with the electrons in the inner shells, have a positive charge of 4, which is balanced by the negative charges of the four electrons in the outer shell. Together with the electrons of neighboring atoms, they form covalent bonds on crystal lattice. Thus, the outer shell contains four electrons of its own and four electrons borrowed from four neighboring atoms. At a temperature of absolute zero, all the electrons of the outer shells participate in covalent bonds. At the same time, silicon is an ideal insulator, since it does not have free electrons that create conductivity.

PROPERTIES

Silicon is brittle, only when heated above 800 °C does it become plastic. It is transparent to infrared radiation from a wavelength of 1.1 µm. Own concentration of charge carriers - 5.81 10 15 m −3 (for a temperature of 300 K). Melting point 1415 ° C, boiling point 2680 ° C, density 2.33 g / cm 3. It has semiconductor properties, its resistance decreases with increasing temperature.

Amorphous silicon is a brown powder based on a highly disordered diamond-like structure. It is more reactive than crystalline silicon.

MORPHOLOGY

Most often, silicon occurs in nature in the form of silica - compounds based on silicon dioxide (IV) SiO 2 (about 12% of the mass of the earth's crust). Basic minerals and rocks, formed by silicon dioxide, are sand (river and quartz), quartz and quartzites, flint, feldspars. The second most common group of silicon compounds in nature are silicates and aluminosilicates.

Isolated facts of finding pure silicon in native form are noted.

ORIGIN

The content of silicon in the earth's crust is, according to various sources, 27.6-29.5% by weight. Thus, in terms of prevalence in the earth's crust, silicon ranks second after oxygen. Concentration in sea water 3 mg/l. Single facts of finding pure silicon in native form are noted - the smallest inclusions (nanoindividuals) in ijolites of the Goryachegorsk alkaline-gabbroid massif (Kuznetsk Alatau, Krasnoyarsk Territory); in Karelia and on the Kola Peninsula (based on the study of the Kola superdeep well); microscopic crystals in the fumaroles of Tolbachik and Kudryavy volcanoes (Kamchatka).

APPLICATION

Ultra-pure silicon is mainly used for the production of single electronic devices (non-linear passive elements electrical circuits) and single-chip microcircuits. Pure silicon, ultra-pure silicon waste, refined metallurgical silicon in the form of crystalline silicon are the main raw materials for solar energy.

Monocrystalline silicon - in addition to electronics and solar energy, is used to make mirrors for gas lasers.

Compounds of metals with silicon - silicides - are widely used in industry (for example, electronic and atomic) materials with a wide range of useful chemical, electrical and nuclear properties (resistance to oxidation, neutrons, etc.). Silicides of a number of elements are important thermoelectric materials.

Silicon compounds serve as the basis for the production of glass and cement. The silicate industry is engaged in the production of glass and cement. It also produces silicate ceramics - brick, porcelain, faience and products from them. Silicate glue is widely known, used in construction as a desiccant, and in pyrotechnics and in everyday life for gluing paper. Silicone oils and silicones, materials based on organosilicon compounds, have become widespread.

Technical silicon finds the following applications:

  • raw materials for metallurgical industries: alloy component (bronze, silumin);
  • deoxidizer (when smelting iron and steel);
  • a modifier of metal properties or an alloying element (for example, the addition of a certain amount of silicon in the production of transformer steels reduces the coercive force of the finished product), etc.;
  • raw materials for the production of purer polycrystalline silicon and purified metallurgical silicon (in the literature "umg-Si");
  • raw materials for the production of organic silicon materials, silanes;
  • sometimes technical grade silicon and its alloy with iron (ferrosilicon) are used to produce hydrogen in the field;
  • for the production of solar panels;
  • anti-block (release agent) in the plastics industry.
