Faucet with swivel spout long time is an indispensable attribute of the modern bathroom. It is hard to imagine how, before the invention of the mixer, people could do without it in Everyday life. There are clear associations of the mixer with the concept of water supply, as an integral part of this aqueduct. The most optimal and popular solution for the bathroom are faucets with a swivel spout, the catalog with the content of which was kindly provided by our company.

Catalog of mixers with swivel spout

In our catalog you can find any faucet with swivel spout according to your taste and financial possibilities. The swivel design of the mixer compares favorably with the rest in that it is particularly convenient and versatile. One faucet can be rotated alternately into the sink and tub. Taking into account the fact that it is extremely rare to use two units at the same time, a faucet with a swivel spout becomes indispensable in this situation. The height of the spout should be determined in such a way that it can comfortably turn around its axis without scratching or hitting anything. It is a mistake to believe that half-turn and half-turn mixers with a spout are no different from each other. The first definition refers to the value of "granbuks", which, unlike other devices, open the pressure not after several revolutions, but immediately after half a turn of the valve. A half-swivel faucet means a rotational limitation that prevents the faucet from going beyond the boundaries of the sink or bathtub.

Price for faucets with swivel spout

You can buy faucets with a swivel spout from us not only because of the good ratio of reasonable price and High Quality. This design is essential for a comfortable everyday life, because, in addition to allowing you to choose the best temperature regime, is also universal and indispensable in everyday life.

The question of the relevance of the price (faucets with a swivel spout or conventional ones) is especially acute when it comes to purchasing and expensive installation. faucet with swivel spout price Moscow | This becomes significantly more profitable compared to buying two other expensive faucets.

Also, faucets with a swivel spout are essential for kitchen sinks with two tanks, one of which is designed for rinsing dishes, and the second for washing. The reasonable price for mixers with a swivel spout becomes justified when it is necessary to wash a wide baking sheet, and fixed counterparts in this case cannot cope with this task.

Buy faucets with swivel spout

Purchasing a faucet with a swivel spout allows you to effectively direct the water jet, as well as coordinate its temperature. It is worth noting that this product is optimal for each individual case. Thanks to the manipulations performed in the sink or bathtub, turning the faucet spout three hundred and sixty degrees eliminates the possibility of splashing water throughout the bathroom.

It's no secret: there are many requirements for modern plumbing - it must have an attractive appearance, flawlessly perform its work and serve long years. Such “workers” include faucets with a swivel spout, which open and close countless times every day. That is why it is important to choose a unit that is not only aesthetically attractive, but also easy to operate, and, in addition, is a fairly reliable design.

Today, the range of offered faucets with a swivel spout for the bathroom just rolls over. It is only necessary to understand in more detail their varieties so that the long-awaited acquisition brings even more comfort in everyday life.

What is a spout and what are its forms?

To begin with, it is still worth remembering - what is a spout? This is the most important component plumbing fixture, which in everyday life is called "gander" or "nose". Exactly right choice this part of the design will make the use more convenient. This part of the mixer is a tube complete with a fixing nut and a seal.

The corners of the bends can vary in shape:

  • Round.
  • Flattened.
  • With meshes for spraying.

Whatever the shape of the mixer, all workpieces go through mandatory processing and application of a protective coating.

By type of installation are divided into:

  • Vertical - installed on the sink, it is usually used for washbasins and kitchen sinks.
  • Horizontal - mounted on the wall, depending on the location of the pipes. Most often used in showers and bathrooms. Installation of this type is best entrusted to a professional, so as not to damage the pipe and the facing surface.

Materials for the manufacture of faucets with a swivel spout

For the production of mixers with a swivel spout, materials are used that are not subject to corrosion, and are also particularly resistant to external damage, most often these are:

  • Steel is durable, strong, absolutely safe for human health.
  • Brass - durable, reliable and low price.
  • Bronze - perfect for an interior made in classic or "retro". Such mixers are reliable, have a very rich look and cost accordingly.
  • Ceramics - perfectly retains temperature, is not subject to oxidation, although it is more fragile than other materials.

Mixer types

Single-handle - the most commonly used faucet with a swivel shower spout. The water temperature, as well as the pressure, can be adjusted by turning the knob left or right or up and down. This type is so simple that even a child can easily handle it.

Two-grip - got its name due to the fact that the adjustment in it takes place with two handles. This version of the plumbing fixture is ideal in cases where there is a significant difference between the pressures of cold and hot water. Also optimal model for the kitchen, which uses geyser. It is the separate connection of hot and cold water is a great way to reduce consumption.

Non-contact (touch) - the most modern faucet with swivel basin spout. Gained its popularity due to the fact that it works on a signal infrared sensor responsive to hand movement. Just imagine how convenient it is. In addition, it uses water economically and independently mixes it to the required temperature.

The most popular types of faucets with a swivel spout in the Gipostroy.ru online store are sold at the most affordable prices with the possibility of delivery at a convenient time for you.

Glossary of terms

S-shaped eccentrics

The presence of S-shaped eccentrics (adapters) in the mixer set.

The distance between the supply pipes for water very rarely corresponds to the distance between the nozzles of the mixer, especially if the mixer is imported. S-shaped eccentrics of a special curved shape greatly simplify the installation of such a mixer, as they allow you to adjust center distance between the bushings by turning them.

Aerator

The presence of an aerator in the mixer kit.

An aerator is a mesh device that mixes water with air, making it softer. In addition, the aerator serves as a jet divider, making it softer and more even.

Aerators are located at the very tip of the spout, they are usually made of of stainless steel, but it is better to give preference to models with an additional silicone coating - it is easier to clean.

Embedded

Presence of a hidden mounting system.

Such a system involves inserting the unit itself into the wall (for example, in shower faucets) or into the side of the bath or sink (in bath, sink, washbasin faucets). Only the controls and the spout/pull-out hand shower remain outside. Concealed installation is mainly intended for acrylic bathtubs(it is easier to drill holes in acrylic than, for example, in cast iron). This installation is preferable for large bathrooms, because you have to install an additional box. Although there are times when communications take place just in the "right place", and then you can kill two birds with one stone. Truth, concealed installation dangerous because if the mixer block leaks, you will not know about it right away. Therefore, before purchasing such a device, you should make sure of the skill level of the installer.

Built-in filter

The presence of a built-in filter in the mixer.

Sand and others small particles, which are in the water, can get between the cartridge and the walls of the housing, clogging the device. The built-in filter is designed to mechanically purify water from these impurities, which helps protect the mixing unit from damage. Usually the filter is removable, which makes it easier to clean.

spout height(from 30 to 429 mm)

Mixer spout height.

This is one of important parameters, which should be considered when buying a device: due to a very low spout, it will be inconvenient to use it (this is especially important for kitchen faucets), too high will reduce the usable space.

shower head holder

The presence of a mixer holder for a shower head.

There are two main types: faucet-mounted, wall-mounted, or rod-mounted.

A wall holder is a short holder, usually attached to the faucet itself or to the wall.

A rod is an elongated rod that is fixed vertically on a wall. A short holder for a watering can is attached to the rod, which can be adjusted in inclination / height.

In universal models (see "Intended use"), the holder, as a rule, is located directly on the faucet for easy storage of the shower head.

Mounting hole diameter(from 10 to 60 mm)

The diameter of the fittings for plumbing fixtures and water supply systems for installation.

spout length(from 32 to 427 mm)

Mixer spout length.

It is advisable to take this parameter into account when buying a device: due to a too short spout, the jet can break on the side of the bathtub or sink, and a spout that is too long can reduce comfort when using the mixer.

Handle length(from 53 to 150 mm)

Handle length of a single-grip mixer (see "Mixer type").

bottom valve

The presence of a bottom valve in the mixer kit.

The bottom valve came to us from England, where the apartments are mostly equipped with taps, not mixers (cold and hot water is poured separately from two taps, which is already mixed in the sink). To make the procedure more hygienic, we came up with a semi-automatic bottom valve (plug) for locking drain hole. It opens and closes by simply pressing the button located on the mixer body.

Hand shower / pull-out spout

Shower head included with faucet.

Usually shower and bidet faucets are equipped with watering cans. Watering cans for bidets are compact and have a key for water supply on the head of the watering can, which is not a shut-off valve and serves only for ease of use. But no less popular are the pull-out basin spouts: the compact pull-out spray with flexible hose makes it very convenient to wash sinks of any size and shape.

There are two versions of pull-out spouts for the sink. In one version, an additional hole can be made for it to the right or left of the mixer, in the second, the hose is hidden directly into the spout of the mixer itself (thus we get a "2 in 1").

Stop valve

The type and material of which the stop valve valve is made.

Shut-off valve - a mechanism in the mixer, responsible for the supply / shut-off and the force of water pressure. It can be a rubber or leather valve, ceramic or ball cartridge.

The shut-off valve material familiar to most people - valves made of rubber and leather - are inexpensive and practical materials, but with low wear resistance, therefore they are often replaced. Now these materials are practically not used.

Modern models are more often equipped with ceramic plates (cartridges), they are stronger and more durable. They are usually made of aluminum oxide, and are covered with cermet on top.

Ball cartridges are made of stainless steel. These are polished hollow balls with a pin inside which water is mixed. By changing the position of the pin (using the mixer handle), you can adjust the pressure and the ratio of hot and cold water, as well as the on/off of the water supply itself.

Photocell power supply

Type of mixer photocell power supply (see "Non-contact").

It can be either mains or lithium batteries. In the first case, the installation of some models requires the installation of a special transformer, but for most mixers there is no such need, they allow you to use the power supply of standard 220 V wiring.

Models powered by conventional lithium batteries require no additional wiring and are extremely easy to install. The average battery life is more than 2 years.

Number of mounting holes

The number of mounting holes for installing the mixer.

There can be from 1 to 5. Faucets with 1 hole are more familiar to us: the user can see a block with a spout and switches. Concealed 1-hole installation is more often done for bath and shower faucets.

2-hole faucets are also very popular (hot and cold water pipes need separate holes). As a rule, such mixers have vertical mount(see "Installation").

Recently, mixers with 3 holes for concealed installation have become very popular (see "Recessed"): the block is hidden in the wall or plumbing body, and a separate hole is needed for each element (spout and handles).

Less often you can find models with 4 and even 5 holes (4th for a shower head and 5th for a shower / bath switch).

Maximum water flow(from 4.8 to 59.0 l/min)

mixer throughput.

This indicator depends on what the mixer will serve you for (see "Purpose"). In the kitchen, a mixer with a flow rate of 6 l / min. will be quite enough, in the bathroom - 15 l / min. and more. Based on indicator bandwidth mixer, the user can set automatic control of the water flow or, if necessary, on the contrary, increase the pressure (for example, when filling a large volume bath with water).

Housing material

The material from which the mixer body is made.

The faucet can be made of brass, ceramic, stainless steel or bronze.

Ceramic faucets look very nice, they are expensive, but they are too fragile, so their high price is not entirely justified. More durable and cheaper faucets are stainless steel models. Brass faucets are the most popular. Of course, they are expensive, but they differ very much. high strength and practicality. Bronze faucets are also very durable, but not yet so common.

Purpose

Scope of the mixer.

All faucets can be divided into several groups according to the place of use and design features: for a bath, washbasin, sink (kitchen), bidet, shower, as well as universal models.

Faucets for kitchen sink usually mounted horizontally, they have a long, high, movable spout to increase usable area sinks, so that it is convenient to wash high containers. There are models with a pull-out spout (see "Pull-out spout"), and with a shower head (see "Shower head").

Bidet faucets in most characteristics are similar to their "colleagues" for the sink, only they have a special aerator, thanks to which you can change the strength and direction of the jet. This makes the use of such a mixer the most comfortable.

Washbasin faucets can have unusual design(they are touch, non-contact, etc.). Most of these models are mounted directly on the sink, although there are options. wall mounting. Bath faucets usually have a short fixed spout and are mounted on the edge of the bath. There are also options for flush mounting (see "Built-in").

Shower faucets do not have a spout; water flows directly through the hose into the shower head.

Universal models are distinguished by a long swivel spout, which can be directed into the sink or bathtub as desired. Of course, such a mixer is very convenient, but it is less airtight, and the constant rotation of the spout in different sides does not benefit - it breaks faster. Universal faucets are usually equipped with a flexible hose with a shower head at the end (a separate lever or button is used to switch the water supply to the spout / hose).

check valve

Availability check valve at the mixer.

This is safety device, allowing the flow of water only in the right direction. The valve prevents back flow of water in the faucet body in the event of a sudden drop in pressure below a certain value.

The principle of operation of the valve is extremely simple: a special plate opens with a flow of water directed in one direction and closes in the opposite direction.

swivel spout

Possibility of rotation (rotation) of the spout of the mixer.

The presence of a swivel spout enhances the functionality of the mixer. For example, such an outflow is necessary for universal models: it allows you to choose the direction of the water jet - into the bath or into the washbasin. Equally important is its presence in kitchen faucets- it is more convenient to wash a large number of dishes and high or wide containers.

Coating

Material (or color) top coat mixer body.

This coating usually decorative role and can be made of nickel, chrome, matte chrome, white or colored enamel. Less common is gold, platinum, marble, granite or bronze coating.

The enamel looks very nice, but it is not so strong and easily chipped; nickel can cause allergies, gold or platinum coatings require special care, and marble or bronze coatings will deal a significant blow to the wallet.

Chrome and granite, which is now fashionable, are considered the best options: they are beautiful, durable, microbes do not multiply on them. The only drawback of chromium is that there are traces of drops, fingerprints and stains on the polished surface.

Often there are two-tone models that combine two types of coating, for example, granite and satin.

Connecting size

Connecting dimension of the outlet to the mixer.

Depends on the type of mixer. For example, a bathroom requires more powerful water pressure than a kitchen. And, accordingly, a pipe of a larger diameter. Connecting dimensions can be of several types: 1/2", 3/4", 3/8", 1 1/2", 1 1/4".

System quick installation

The presence of a system for quick installation of the mixer.

This is a system for attaching the faucet to the sink or sink, in which there is no need to carry out work on fastening the faucet from below (under the faucet). You only need to insert the faucet fixture into the hole prepared in advance for it and tighten it from above with a hex wrench (usually supplied).

Mounting method

Mounting method of the mixer, depending on the mounting plane.

Bath mixers can be mounted vertically or horizontally.

The horizontal mounting method is used for almost all types of faucets (when the device unit is attached to the plumbing board). vertical way involves mounting the mixer on the wall (mainly bath, shower and universal devices). The choice of one or another installation method depends only on your personal preferences and the location of the communication pipes.

In addition to this separation, there are open and hidden installations (see "Recessed"), for 1, 2 or 3 holes (or 4, if there is a shower head in the kit - see "Number of mounting holes").

Thermostat

The presence of a mixer device for automatically maintaining the set temperature and pressure.

A special thermostat controls the set temperature: if it has changed, the ratio of hot and cold water automatically changes in the required proportions. The second regulator is responsible for the force of water pressure.

In order for the user-defined settings to be saved, both regulators have built-in limiters, usually in the form of buttons: to change the setting, you must first press the button, after which you can turn the knob (in many models, the temperature can be changed without pressing the button, but only in the direction of decreasing it ). Thus, the limiters allow you to control the flow of water. Thermostats have another undoubted advantage: if the supply of hot or cold water suddenly stops, the mixer mechanism will immediately turn off.

Eyeliner type

A type of connecting tube for supplying water, called an eyeliner.

As a rule, adapters are required to connect the water supply, which are not always included in the mixer kit. There are two types of eyeliner: flexible and rigid. The first is a reinforced polyethylene or PVC tube with a plastic "skeleton" in a metal braid, it is easier to install, therefore it is more popular. However, it is also less reliable, so it fails more often. Hard eyeliner consists of metal tubes(copper or brass). With her more problems during installation, but then it is unlikely to cause trouble.

Mixer type

Mixer type depending on the design.

Mixers are two-grip, single-grip and non-contact.

Classic two-grip are equipped with two valves responsible, respectively, for the supply of hot and cold water. The locking of water is carried out with the help of rubber gasket or ceramic plate (see "Stop valve material"). In order to turn on the withdrawal to the full pressure, it is necessary to make a full turn with the valve (in older models 2-3 turns), which ensures stable operation even with very different ratios of hot and cold water. That is why, if there is gas water heater valve mixers are recommended. In addition, although the use of such mixers requires a lot of effort, it helps to save water consumption and allows you to more accurately adjust the temperature, unlike single-lever models, unless, of course, the mixer is equipped with a thermostat (see "Thermostat"). By the way, in thermostats, one valve is usually responsible for the temperature, and the second for the pressure of the jet.

Single-grip mixers are much more convenient, as they are equipped with one handle that turns in different directions (up and down and left and right). Thanks to this, you can adjust the water temperature and pressure force with one hand movement. Single-lever mixers can have different mechanisms of operation (see "Shut-off valve"). The operating costs of valve and single-lever mixers, except for touchless mixers, are approximately the same. Therefore, manufacturers recommend that when using all types of mixers, except for equalizing the pressure of cold and hot water mixers, install water filters in the apartment.

Contactless automatic faucets differ from others primarily in the absence of valves and the presence of a presence sensor. The principle of using such devices is extremely simple: raise your hands - it flows warm water, remove - the water stops flowing. In this case, it should be borne in mind that the sensor only responds to movement, that is, if a stationary object enters its “field of vision”, the water supply will stop after a few seconds. The main advantages of electronic faucets are hygiene and water savings. They are mainly intended for public places, but sometimes they are used at home.

Angle of rotation of the handle vertical. (from 22 to 120 degrees)

The angle of rotation of the handle of a single-lever mixer in a vertical plane.

Vertical adjustment helps to set the optimal force of water pressure.

Modern faucets are equipped with a built-in water flow restrictor to save water consumption.

Angle of rotation of the handle horiz.(from 25 to 160 degrees)

The angle of rotation of the handle of a single-lever mixer in a horizontal plane.

The greater the stroke of the handle, the more accurately the user can adjust the water temperature, but more short stroke helps you set it up faster.

All modern single lever mixers equipped with a built-in hot water limiter (removable silicone ring or a special mechanism) - it does not allow you to move the handle beyond a certain temperature level.

Spout shape

Mixer spout shape.

Can be traditional or cascading. In both cases, the principle of the device of the mixers themselves is absolutely the same, except for the piping, which has a larger cross section and, accordingly, a greater throughput (about 2 times). traditional shape a spout in the form of a tube (round, triangular, oval, etc.) is considered. Such spouts are called classic and are used everywhere.

Cascade mixers are not yet very common due to their unusual appearance. Unlike traditional tube-shaped faucets, cascade faucets have a flat and wide spout; dimensions vary depending on the specific model. Cascading faucets are mainly mounted in the side of the bathtub and the wall of the shower cabin, less often they are used for sinks. In addition to high throughput (for filling with water even large bath takes a matter of minutes), cascade faucets are simply beautiful and actually mimic a mini waterfall in your apartment.
