How to program a key fob?

The violet-yellow cord, as stated in the instructions, should receive a positive potential at the time of starting “from the key”. The red and white cord is the signaling power supply. A purple-white cable is also desirable to connect, and connect it to the tachometer.

It turns out that the purple power and purple-white signal cords are included in the break in the cable that feeds the starter.

The yellow-black wire is the crawler control. The wire closes to ground, and the crawler works. By default, the response time is equal to the engine running time. Another option is to turn on for 1 second to emulate pedaling.

Is it difficult to control the motor?

It is desirable that the alarm receive information about whether the engine is currently running. To security functions Engine control has nothing to do with it.   1. Turn on the ignition, start the engine;
  2. Not later than 5 seconds after turning the key to the START label, press the Valet button connected to the main unit;
  3. When the LED, which is also connected to the main unit, starts to burn constantly, the button is released;
  4. Light indication, if connected, will work 1 time.

The picture posted above is copied from the instructions for the signaling 625RS ver 3. If something does not work, look for another connection point or use a different control method.

The motor cannot be controlled by the voltage of the onboard network. As a last resort, if autorun does not work, you can try turning off control (value 1 for option 2.9). How to do programming, consider now.

Setting procedure

Consider the sequence that allows you to start programming the system:

  1. The ignition is turned on and the Valet button is pressed 3 times within 15 seconds;
  2. The siren will sound, then the ignition is immediately turned off;
  3. Two beeps will sound, the ignition is turned on again;
  4. To adjust the options listed in the second table (see above), the Valet button is pressed and held for 3 seconds;
  5. Single clicks on the Valet button select the option number;
  6. Value 1 is selected by pressing the "Close" key on the key fob;
  7. The value 2 and the following correspond to the "Open" key, which is pressed 1 or more times.

By the way, in steps 6-7, you can simultaneously press and hold the following two buttons: “trunk”, “AUX”. Then in 3 seconds the settings are reset to "initial".

If a personal code has been set, its value must be entered before "step 1". In this case, the Valet button is used. You need to turn the ignition on, turn it off and on again, and then enter the first digit. The ignition is turned off and on, then the second digit is entered.

Before "step 1" the ignition must be turned off. For all signaling versions, including ver 3, the factory code value is two units.

Schottky diodes are used here, rated for 1 Ampere. In the first case, when connecting the lamps, you need to choose a different value. And also, remember that the power diode heats up during operation.

Maybe someday there will be a signaling in version ver 4, and power diodes will be built into it. And you can’t get away from connecting signal, that is, low-current diodes. In some cars, the block is connected to one limit switch, in others - to four. The use of external signal diodes is optimal.

But for the siren the best place, just in the engine compartment - in a place well protected from third-party access. The main thing is that it should not be close to moving and very hot engine elements. To prevent the accumulation of moisture in this unit, its socket should be directed downwards. Mount the siren with a bracket and a few screws.

The set of the Panther system necessarily includes a limit switch, with the help of which the protection of the car hood is ensured. This switch should be installed on a metal surface connected to the common ground where moisture does not accumulate, for example, on the side surface of the wings in the area of ​​​​the hood (trunk). At correct installation the limit switch must have at least 6 mm of travel when closing the hood (and also the trunk, if there is a second, similar switch).

A red LED signaling the state of the security system is placed on the dashboard in a place that is clearly visible from the outside of the car and, at the same time, the indicator should not distract the driver. Before you start drilling a hole for it, you must first make sure that with reverse side there are no wires and other elements.

Determination of a place for the Valet switch requires special imagination, since, on the one hand, it should be easily accessible, and on the other hand, an attacker should not quickly find it and turn off the alarm.

For the shock sensor, the most comfortable spot, this is a solid surface between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment (from the passenger compartment). Sometimes it is attached with constrictions under the dashboard or on the steering column. In any case, the sensor must have good access to make adjustments.

The standard panther car alarm connection scheme provides for the following distribution (in accordance with color marking) and connection of the main wires:

  • The wire white color, providing flashing parking lights when the system is triggered, as well as at the time of arming and disarming, it is connected to the parking lights circuit (if the circuit is of negative polarity, then through an additional relay);
  • The red wire, designed to power the system through a + 12V fuse, is connected to the positive terminal of the battery ";
  • White / red wire + 12V power supply of the central unit - through a fuse it is connected to the red wire;
  • White / black siren output wire - through a rubber bushing, it is laid to the siren installation site;
  • Wire dark - of blue color, used to remotely open the trunk - connects to terminal 85 of the additional relay. Please note that connecting this wire directly to the lock circuits is strictly prohibited;
  • Green / white wire that controls the interior lighting when the "Panic" mode is triggered, as well as at the time of disarming - the wire is connected to terminal 86 of the additional relay ";
  • Black wire "weight" - connects to the negative terminal of the battery;
  • The dark / green wire (-) of the hood (trunk) trigger, when shorted to ground, the system is instantly triggered, is extended to the hood (trunk) limit switches;
  • Purple wire (+) of the door trigger - regardless of the number of doors, it is connected to only one limit switch;
  • Purple wire (-) of the door trigger - as in the previous case, goes to the door switch;
  • The yellow wire for monitoring the presence of power at the ignition switch is connected to the wire of the ignition switch, on which, when the key is turned, + 12V appears;
  • Orange Starter Interlock Wire - Connects to terminal #86 of the auxiliary relay. At the same time, terminal # 85 is connected to the wire of the ignition switch, on which, at the time of starting the engine, a constant voltage of + 12V is created.

When installing the antenna wire, it is pulled out to its full length and installed in a place where it is difficult to damage it during the operation of the car.
