For the manufacture used various flowers from lace, voluminous vinyl wallpapers, from which she cut out motifs and made a drawing. The gaps between the motifs, in order to betray the appearance of lace and a whole ribbon, were connected with latex putty, resulting in jumpers ... I saw works on the Internet where the main background was made with putty, I didn’t like it and I made it a little smoother. I glued the motifs on PVA. Then I impregnated everything with wood impregnation. Lace thread, loose, and the wallpaper, too, and it was necessary to give them rigidity. Painted in the main color, ivory. Then I used burnt acrylic umber and drying retardant. I applied it with a brush, wiped off the excess with a napkin to the desired effect. I applied several layers of varnish with the addition of acrylic gold paint on metal, to create a metallic shade. Height 65-70 cm. Diameter 12 cm. The drawing is also applied inside, but as far as the hand reached.

To begin with, I went to a building store, got hold of a rather long bobbin from linoleum, my husband sawed off a piece of 70 cm and an oval-shaped hardboard bottom, of arbitrary size. I impregnated the tube with impregnation on wood in several layers outside and inside. With the help of this glue, I glued the bottom-base. Slightly shifted, so I thought. I let it dry for a day until a strong glue formed, hard as plastic.

Then I added a little gypsum to the dry non-shrinking putty, kneaded the solution in water, added a little PVA glue. Everything was done randomly. The solution should be quite thick. Roughly put her hands on the tube, as if wrapping it around. The solution does not flow and dries for a long time. The excess was wiped off with a damp cloth.

Then she began to form bundles, without waiting for complete drying. Made with a palette knife, and a small kitchen knife. There was no dust, but there was a lot of scree. Scraping out the shape of twisted ropes. Given that I did this for the first time, I was satisfied with the result. I did not plan to make the ropes rough. Now I think differently. And yes, I have an idea how to do it.

Dried for a long time, for a week. Then I cut out motifs from a napkin, tried on how I would arrange them. I separated the third layer from the motifs and pasted it on the places I needed.

Then, with the same mixture, I applied the volume to the places I needed. And on top I glued the second layer of napkin. Didn't achieve smoothness.

I added another one to the bundles, as it were, wrapping around the entire bundle. I glued it with white layers of napkins for strength, did not remove wrinkles and wrinkle, I wanted to keep some rudeness. In the end, everything was hidden under paint and varnish.

Under the motives of the figurines, the volume was made using Moment glue for polystyrene. it is more plastic than putty.
