The main unit must have a hard connection as it is necessary for the built-in accelerometer to function correctly. It is allowed to mount the unit on thick bundles of standard wiring, while a slight decrease in the sensitivity of its sensors is possible.
  3. All installation operations are carried out on a de-energized electrical network cars.
  4. To install the siren, it is necessary to find a place isolated from water ingress and with limited access from the outside. The body of the product should not be exposed to high temperatures, as this reduces the measurement accuracy of the sensors. It is recommended to place the horn of the siren downwards, which helps to drain the condensate.
  5. Connections of signaling wires are made by twisting, followed by fixation with tin-lead solders or clamps. Insulation is provided with fabric or PVC tape, heat shrink tubing is allowed.
  6. When installing extended wires, pay attention to the material and cross section of the product. If you plan to use cables made of different metals, then you will need to reduce the electrochemical potential difference using a special adapter sleeve. Such joints require special careful isolation, since water vapor accelerates the process of corrosion and destruction of materials.
  7. Connection points must be located in ventilated cavities, the crossing point should not be a zone of accumulation of water condensate. The laid wiring should not be pulled tight - this will ensure the safety of the joints during temperature changes or mechanical deformations of the car body.
  8. Layed cables must not come into contact with movable body panels. At such points, the elements are protected by special corrugated tubes.
  9. Holes made in the body must not have sharp edges that can destroy the insulation. It is recommended to install protective sleeves made of plastic or rubber.
  10. Electronic control units are located at the highest possible places, isolated from the hot air supply. Device connectors are directed downwards, which reduces the concentration of condensate and corrosion.
  11. Unused wiring harnesses must be carefully rolled up and insulated. Trimming is not recommended.
  12. Electrical connection not allowed alternating current. It is forbidden to use the complex on vehicles with a voltage in the on-board network of more than 12V.
  13. Removing the standard fuses located in the alarm wiring harnesses and circuits of the machine is not allowed.
  14. When using additional power relays, it is necessary to provide protection by installing fusible links.

  1. Mount the main unit of the system inside the instrument panel or in the depth of the center console. This arrangement ensures the minimum length of wires; extension of the standard harness is often not required. For fixing, screws or plastic ties from the delivery set are used. Mounting with 2-sided adhesive tape is allowed, but in this case there is a risk of destruction of the adhesive layer from temperature exposure. To reduce the risk of incorrect operation, it is recommended to use adhesive tape in conjunction with an additional mount.
  2. Calculate installation point antenna unit on the windshield. The part is placed at least 25 mm from the edge of the roof panel. In this case, the "whiskers" of the antenna should be located at a distance of 100 mm from the metal parts of the car body. In this case, the maximum range of the transceiver is provided. You should make sure that there are no metallized coatings on the glass and heating threads, this reduces the operating distance of the device several times.
  3. Lay cable antenna module. The item should be as close as possible to metal frame body, but without sharp bends and contacts with sharp edges.
  4. Decide on the installation point of the control diode, which should be read both from the driver's seat and from outside the car. Additional fixation is carried out using rubber glue.

  7. Mount the temperature start device on the engine block. It is allowed to place the structure on metal elements cooling systems. When installing the device at a distance from the motor, the accuracy of determining the temperature decreases. Since the sensor is designed for maximum heating up to +125ºС, it is not allowed to be installed on the elements of the exhaust system. It is recommended to cover the sensor mounted and fixed with a bolt or nut with a thermal insulation cover.
  8. If the delivery set contains iButton keys, then the reader's contact pad should be mounted near the driver's seat. The part is placed on steel or plastic elements interior decoration car.

Engine lock

The Pandora 3000 series complex provides 3 options for blocking the engine start:

  1. Built-in relay, which allows short-term current switching up to 20A. The device is controlled by a configurable channel, can work to break the wiring of the ignition switch or to parallel connection. In this case, it is necessary to provide blocking using other techniques.
  2. External contact relays connected to additional timer channels that need to be programmed.
  3. Digital relay switch type BM-102/103M, which is controlled by the dynamic code feed through a special wire. The device is connected to the same timer channels as the contact relays.

It is recommended to equip at least 2 different locks that work according to different algorithms, which provides increased security. The use of code devices further complicates the hijacking procedure, since the detection of the base unit is not a sufficient condition for deactivating the gap. The relay does not respond to the supply of additional power or short circuit to the body.

Due to its small size, the Pandora DXL 3000 engine lock can be integrated into the cable harness, making it invisible.

Algorithm for installing a coded protective device:

  1. Strip the ends of the wiring from insulation.
  2. Any black conductor is connected to the timer control channel.
  3. Bring another wire with black insulation to the harnesses of the machine, which is energized with + 12V when the ignition is on. During installation, make sure that the potential difference in the wire is maintained at various modes operation. On the relay of the latest modifications, this cable received red insulation.
  4. Cut the power supply circuit of the blocked node, insert the relay into the cut, connecting the ends to the cables with gray insulation.
  5. Bring the green wire, intended for "learning" the device, to the timer channel.
  6. To program the device, the ignition must be turned on twice with a pause of at least 2 seconds, the armed mode is deactivated. If the setting is successful, when the ignition is turned off for the second time, the relay will start. Otherwise, additional manipulation of the ignition switch is required.
  7. After the relay has worked, turn off the ignition and separate the green wire from the timer channel. The element is taken aside and carefully isolated, it is not used during further operation.
  8. Additionally, check the operation of the relay by turning on the ignition. After that, you can proceed to disguise the device, which is laid deep into the wiring harness and closed with electrical tape.

  1. The siren signal wire is connected to plug 17 located in the main connector X8. A triggered relay transmits a positive voltage pulse (current does not exceed 3A). When using devices with increased power or 2 parallel sirens, an isolation relay must be installed.
  2. Plugs 13 and 14 of block X8 are connected to external light signaling lamps (on board). It is allowed to supply current up to 7.5A, indicators of the direction of rotation are used for indication. When switching lamps of side lighting, outputs 13 and 14 are connected by a jumper.   4. Ensure the connection of the interior lighting control unit (if installed on the vehicle). The basic controller allows you to set a delay for turning off the light within 0-2 minutes in 1 second increments.
  5. Connect the hood limit switch to point 9 in connector X8. To switch a similar element of the trunk lid, pin 8 is used in the same block. The type of polarity of the parts is set when programming the block. It is allowed to use standard switches or install additional ones.
  6. Install the plug of the antenna module into socket X1.
  7. If the owner plans to use i Button keys, then the reader is connected to the X5 connector. The operating modes of the device are programmed through the base unit.

  2. When installing an additional immobilizer type IS 471/475/477/577, it is possible to activate the " Free hands". To do this, the service icon is first “clicked”, holding down button 1 turns on the “Hands Free” mode icon. The parameter value is selected with key 2, the selection is confirmed by pressing the first one. Since dialogue encoding is used for signal transmission, the only way to open the complex is to program an additional key fob. Such an operation is possible when transferring the car with a set of keys to a car service or to a point technical inspection. Therefore, it is not recommended to give the remote control together with the keys; if you try to program an additional device, the main switch will stop controlling the complex. After that, you will need to rewrite all regular key fobs within 1 session.

To control the number of key fobs programmed into the memory, the following method is used:

  1. Disconnect and reinstall the negative battery terminal.
  2. Carefully count the number of short beeps siren, which corresponds to the number of remotes in the memory.
  3. Additionally, you can check their number by flashing the orange color of the control diode. To do this, you must turn off the security and turn the key in the ignition to the On position.

Connecting a car alarm to a personal computer

"Signalka" Pandora model 3000 allows programming using a personal computer or laptop. Data transmission is carried out by special cable or radio signal. How to remotely start a car engine from a key fob?

The sequence of steps for remote engine start with a Pandora DXL 3000 key fob:

  1. Put the car on the alarm, having previously passed the procedure for confirming the neutral position of the gear lever. On a car with an automatic transmission, it is enough to rearrange the selector to the “parking” mode.
  2. Press button 1 and hold it for about 3 seconds (until the key fob's standard buzzer beeps).
  3. The shortcut to temporarily disable the zones of sensitivity of the shock sensor will become active on the display. In addition, the rotating fan icon will turn on, confirming that the system is ready to start the engine.

Programming of warming up or cooling down of salon

The Pandora DHL 3000 security complex allows for scheduled interior cooling or engine warm-up. To set the exact start time, automatic synchronization of data on the key fob and in the base unit of the complex is used. Setting procedure:

  2. Launch the Pandora DXL Loader program preinstalled on your computer.
  3. Enter the programming mode by entering the PIN code (default 1111). Entering is carried out by pressing the service key, a pause of more than 1 second should be given between the numbers.
  4. Wait for the alarm type and software version to be determined, which will be displayed in the upper right corner of the dialog box.
  5. Download the latest version of the software from the manufacturer's website.
