Paint for playgrounds on plywood. Paints and varnishes for painting playgrounds. Production of products according to individual specifications

Typical example kindergarten that needs to be disposed of

I have nothing against clowns. Joke. I can't stand them. But this is just an introduction to the title.

Today I want to urge officials (and everyone in general) to stop painting playgrounds and gardens in all the colors of the rainbow.

If you have a lot of different paint - this does not mean that all of its variety must be applied.

I'll try to explain why I think so. There are a lot of photos with examples, but don't worry - the site is in Tash-X.

Problem

Education

Most problems with good taste in our country from the fact that we do not have a design culture. In turn, there is no culture, because vocational education no. The British Royal School of Art was founded in the middle of the 19th century and is already 150 years old. Moreover, it was originally called the State School of Design. All these years, the UK government has understood the importance of design in the lives of its citizens.

We have crafts instead. I don't know of any graphic designer who has completed our art universities and would be happy with the result.

There are no contemporary art museums in Uzbekistan. Occasionally there are some weekly exhibitions, but there is no place where you can come and see thousands of interesting works, exchange opinions, communicate with colleagues. There is no center of gravity for the design.

Standards

Making normal playgrounds is not much more difficult than painting them in all colors (yellow and red are especially popular) and - most importantly - doing it by the hands of builders, nannies and anyone else who cannot combine colors and withstand taste.

For some reason, it is generally accepted that everything related to children should have as many different rich colors. Also, a prerequisite is a high contrast between the selected colors - everything should be full of colors in the eyes. I don't know what kind of goat decided that kids need clown design, but it brings up bad taste in them. You don't have to treat kids like they're crazy if they're all right in the head.

What should they be

I am a supporter scandinavian design, it is based on economy, useful functionality, environmental friendliness and restraint.

Look at the example above - this is a wonderful kindergarten. A lot of wood was used in the construction. The site looks like a natural environment, it does not resemble Chinese plastic constructors. The bright spots in the frame are the children themselves. They are dressed in such colors that it is difficult to lose sight of them and life does not seem dull to them. Children are the main thing, the environment is secondary.

How many do we have furniture factories around the country? Make wooden playgrounds, not Bai furniture in sarpa!

Good taste

Although this photo has artificially reduced saturation, but this does not prevent us from evaluating the use of colors in the design. Incredibly, the seat cushions are only one color! This looks like a crime against childhood!

AT Japanese garden steps covered with materials natural shades. Obviously, repairs with such a laminate will not be cheap, but I'm not talking about some elite materials, but about restraining yourself when decorating children's spaces and using wood or at least wood imitation coatings.

AT summer period not only repairs in the apartment, but also in the country are becoming relevant. Moreover, outdoor work (building a bathhouse, installing a pool, painting various surfaces) is best done in good weather, unlike work inside the house, which can be postponed for a rainy period. This article will focus on painting wooden, metal buildings and outdoor structures with alkyd paints. These paints have a number of advantages: low consumption and bright various shades, easy to apply, weather-resistant and waterproof, do not fade in the sun.

Group of alkyd paints

Alkyd paints are a group of paints and varnishes (LKM), which includes the following types of paints:

— glyptal paints (GF)

– pentaphthalic paints (PF)

Alkyd paint compatibility

All coatings belonging to the group of alkyd paints are compatible with each other: they can be mixed in various proportions. For all alkyd paints, the same thinners, solvents, putties and primers are suitable.

Playground

The standard set of "attractions" for the playground - wooden sandbox, benches, playhouse, boat, car, etc. Of the metal objects on the playground, there are usually swings, carousels and various designs for kids climbing. Also relevant here covered gazebo for parents, if space permits.

Wooden structures

Before staining wooden surfaces should be cleaned of contaminants, then degreased and dried.

New products

The surface must be freed from dust, sanded, remove dust from grinding. Then coat with wood preservative. All irregularities (if any) are puttied with latex putty. Then the entire surface of the product is primed with an alkyd primer or alkyd paint, diluted by 10–15% with white spirit. When the surface is dry, lightly sand it again and remove sanding dust, then paint with alkyd paint (2 coats are better). The break between layers should be 10-12 hours.

Previously painted or varnished items

First you need to wash the product detergent and rinse with clean water. Using a scraper, remove all detachments from it - old paint or varnish. Fill cracks and irregularities with latex putty, and then sand the putty places again. Then the surfaces should be sanded sandpaper and remove the resulting dust. After that, prime the product with alkyd primer or alkyd paint, diluted 10–15% with white spirit. Now the surface can be painted with alkyd paint using the same technology as in the previous paragraph.

Design

Sandbox

For painting the sandbox, it is better to use bright matte alkyd paints. Glossy can be used to apply an ornament along the edges of the sides. It can be colorful circles, flowers, stripes and everything that fantasy tells. It is better to paint with colored paints only the outer sides and seats of the sandbox. It is enough to cover the inner surface with alkyd (preferably protective for wood) varnish. If the sandbox does not have a sun canopy, install it in the shade of trees.

benches

All benches on the playground are usually painted the same color. You can use both matte and glossy alkyd paints. It is better if the benches are not very light and not particularly bright, for example, dark green, blue or the color natural wood. If the design of the bench provides for a smooth back, this back can be decorated with the same ornament as the sides of the sandbox. Benches are traditionally placed along the edges of the playground. Several benches for parents can be placed near the sandbox.

Houses, boats, cars...

The playground looks harmonious when all wooden game objects are designed in the same color and stylistic range. This does not mean that they must be dyed the same color, just the shades on different objects should be compatible with each other. For example, the red roof of the house - the red top of the cab of the car, the yellow windows of the house - the yellow "sides" of the boat, etc., or all these products can be decorated with similar ornaments. It is better to place wooden game objects at an equal distance from each other so that there is enough space around. free space. And keep in mind that they should be located away from swings and carousels.

Alcove

A gazebo for adults should be painted in calm natural tones, for example, under the color natural wood or foliage. Bright ornaments on its surface will not be very appropriate. A good option is when the gazebo is painted with the same paint as the benches - thereby the “adult” area of the site is visually separated from the nursery. The gazebo can be completely monophonic, or painted in two colors, close in tone or, on the contrary, contrasting. The use of a wide variety of shades when painting an "adult" gazebo is not recommended.

Outdoor metal structures

Before painting the surface, remove rust and scale, previously painted surfaces - from the loosely adhering old coating, then degrease and dry.

New products

Need to clear metal surfaces special emulsifying cleaner that removes and breaks down fats. Then rinse the surface with clean water and wipe with a clean cloth. After that, prime the surfaces 2 times with anti-corrosion primer, paint with alkyd paints. For painting metal structures better use special paints for rust, which simultaneously perform three functions: a rust converter (prevents the formation of rust again), a primer and a top coat. Currently, rust paints are produced in various colors.

Previously painted items

It is necessary to remove all dirt and fats with a special detergent, rinse the surface thoroughly and wipe it with a dry cloth. Use a scraper or wire brush to remove rust and loose paint from the surface. Then sand the shiny areas with durable paint to a dull finish, remove sanding dust and clean the surfaces. After that, prime the surfaces with anti-corrosion primer paint, paint with alkyd paint. The time of complete drying of alkyd paint is 24 hours.

Design

Swings, carousels

It is desirable if all the swings and carousels on the same site will be performed in one color scheme. Looks good brown, burgundy, deep blue colors. Most often, swings and carousels - solid color, but some of their details can be painted with other shades. Wooden swing seats are best simply tinted with alkyd varnish.

climbing structures

All kinds of ladders, horizontal bars, sports and gaming complexes, etc. can be covered with multi-colored paints. The main thing is that these colors are combined in color and do not hurt the eyes. For painting metal structures, you need to use matte alkyd paints.

playground color palette

When choosing paints for decorating a playground, pay attention to the advice of psychologists. Each color has its own energy and in its own way affects the psyche of a person, and even more so a child. Studies show that 80% of color and light are "absorbed" nervous system and only 20% with eyes. Psychologists have long established that a color-balanced space improves mood and well-being. Here are some examples of "decoding" the psychology of color.

Yellow

Sets in an optimistic mood, causes a feeling of warmth and joy.

light orange

It is considered the most favorable for children. It improves physiological functions by promoting greater mobility and uplifting mood.

Red

Causes a surge of activity, but with excessive exposure can cause irritability and even aggressiveness. For the design of the playground, this color is recommended to be used only in details.

Blue

It has a calming effect, adjusts to contemplation. You can paint a gazebo for relaxation in blue. The use of this color is especially important if the site is well lit by the sun.

Green

Makes the child more balanced, does not tire the eyesight. In combination with yellow, this color is uplifting. Green can be used to paint benches and gazebos. Just do not use poisonous bright shades: bright green color causes hidden aggression.

Purple and gray

The use of these colors in the design of the playground is undesirable. Prolonged exposure to violet depresses, leads to weakening and suppression of vital processes, and short-term exposure reduces activity. It also has a devastating effect on humans and grey colour, besides, it causes despondency, melancholy.

country house

Country houses are most often made of wood. Each of the details of the house has its own nuances of coloring, but all these details can be coated with alkyd paints.

Wooden windows

After the window frames are prepared for painting (all wood defects are eliminated, cracks and crevices are filled, the surface is thoroughly cleaned), they should be primed. Before painting the frames, it is necessary to stick on the glass near the frames masking tape so as not to stain the glass with paint.

Wooden doors

After cleaning the doors of dirt, you need to remove the handles and locks from them. Rinse the doors again and let them dry. Then putty cracks and irregularities with latex putty and sand the putty places again. After that, it is necessary to clean the surface with sandpaper, remove the resulting dust, prime with an alkyd primer or alkyd paint diluted by 10–15% with white spirit. Then paint the surface 2 times with alkyd paint. The second coat of paint can be applied 10-12 hours after the first.

wooden facade

Alkyd paint technology wooden walls about the same as doors and windows. The only caveat is that before painting the walls of the house, it is necessary to cover it with a special protective composition for wood.

plastered facade

If the facade of the house is plastered and needs to be painted, the surface must first be primed. The primer is applied in one or two layers. For this it is better to use acrylic primer deep penetration for outdoor work. It is better to paint the facades of buildings with special facade paints, which can be tinted in any color using color paste.

Design

The traditional, familiar color of country houses is light brown, that is, the color of wood. Most often, houses in the country are not painted, but only varnished. But if you want the house to stand out from its neighbors in the collective garden, you can make it colorful. Green, blue or yellow houses look great. Frames can be made white or close in color to the walls, only more light tone. For example, if the facade is indigo, then pale blue is suitable for frames. If the walls are brown, yellow frames will go well with them. Doors can be made the same color as the frames, unless the frames are white. White doors in a country house, firstly, do not look harmonious enough, and secondly, this is a very impractical option. If the window frames are white, it is better to paint the doors in a color that is close in color to the walls, making them darker in tone. And if you are fond of woodcarving, you can paint carved architraves in different colors(optimal combinations here are white-blue, yellow-orange, yellow-brown, etc.). country house with multi-colored carved decorations will look like a fabulous house.

INSERT

Helpful Hints

- when coloring window frames hold the brush vertically, without tilting, paint without pressure, with the tips of the bristles;

- when painting outdoor wood products, in order to give the desired shade and increase the service life of the coating, it is recommended to pre-treat the surface with a decorative and protective composition.

Natalya Chernikova

I always enjoy looking through the photo reports of colleagues about land improvement. And one can only rejoice at how well equipped playgrounds are. We have problems with this. Of the new stationary equipment, we have only a slide. Everything else is done hands teachers and parents of students.

Every year we puzzle over how to get out of the situation and equip plot.

We mainly use plywood, boards, logs, improvised material for equipment.

So for several years now, as a developing center for the development of fine motor skills of the hands, the train has been doing good service. At first he was with us.

Over time, the mechanisms of the locomotive fell into disrepair. We have updated it this year. And so the train became.

Its details are bright and interesting.

Nearby is homemade equipment also aimed at developing fine motor skills of the hands. A few years ago, for such equipment, the back of a crib came in handy for us. But it broke down before serving us even 3 years.

Now we have new equipment, made of durable wooden cuttings, metal crossbars. I want to believe that it will serve us for a longer period of time.

The water play center is a boat from a baby bath. I already talked about it in a previous post.

Nearby is Moidodyr, where children can wash their hands using a washstand.

Sand play center is a sandbox and mini sandbox "Cow" which has served us for several years.

For role-playing games we have a plane.

As well as a gas station for cars, a car, a motorcycle, which I also talked about.

We have a creative center: table, bench, stand for fine art works.

And also for many years now, a table in the form of a ram for drawing semolina and sand has been pleasing with its functionality.

When the children are engaged in creativity at the table, the rest of the children run around and play outdoor games at this time. In order to be able to organize building games at the same time, an idea came up - to make another table. And do you know what we made it from? From a wooden coil on which the wires. We dug one part of the coil into the ground, upper part painted, with the help of colored self-adhesive paper, flowers were made on the surface of the table. Our table is large.

There is an opportunity to gather behind him for everyone who wants to play board games. The plans include an idea to make a bench so that you don’t have to take chairs out of the group every day.

The flowers in our flowerbeds in the form of swans have already grown up, delighting with their beauty.

A health track was made, which I also talked about. Survived until the end of summer.

We have physical education equipment "Apple and Pear" made from plywood. They serve to roll balls. We have been using this equipment for several years now.

For crawling, they made multi-colored gates. An arc from a hoop, plastic colored balls are put on it. They placed the gate where there is at least a little green soft grass.

This year to organize an outdoor game "Carousels" a carousel made of several hoops was hung on the veranda different sizes and colorful satin ribbons.

To organize games for the development of breathing, they made a manual in the form of an inverted umbrella and butterflies.

We are building pans for next summer. I'm looking for ideas from you guys. Thank you.

I wish you all creative success!

"Summer fantasies" - updating the site with your own hands in kindergarten.

Dear colleagues! I bring to your attention a master class on making flowers from improvised material with your own hands for.

On the offensive warm days increased stay of children fresh air and before teachers there is a problem of the organization interesting,.

The long-awaited summer is coming soon. I really want the kindergarten site to look bright, lively and interesting in the summer! Kindergarten area.

Kindergarten is a special institution, it is practically a second home for its employees and children. And you always want to make your home cozy and warm.

So that the children in the country house or near the house do not explore the beds or any other places where they should not be, they need an interesting corner for them. As a rule, parents come to the idea of the need to create a playground or a sports corner - it depends on the age and desire of the children. A self-made playground is good because during its construction it is possible to provide for the possibility of its gradual transformation. After all, what is suitable for 2-3 year olds is no longer liked by 5-6 year olds, and even more so for older children. And besides, a do-it-yourself playground is often built not so much for reasons of economy, but out of a desire to please the child: who knows better than parents what your child likes ... Someone needs a pirate ship, but someone needs their own, real, house with a porch, a door and all the necessary attributes.

Do-it-yourself Danish playground - a place for your favorite offspring to play in the country or in the yard

Choose a location

It will be a difficult task to solve. Firstly, it is desirable that the playground be viewed from the house, and from the room in which someone is most of the time. Ideally, if the site is viewed from several rooms or points. Secondly, it should be located away from outbuildings with "aromas", if any. Thirdly, it is desirable to take into account the fertility of the soil: an infertile area or with complex geology can be allocated for the game complex: there is no need to dig into the ground, maximum - 30-40 cm bury pillars.

When choosing a place, it’s a good idea to place a children’s play area near a wall or a solid fence. These zones can sharply be fully used, and in this case they can be used for games. For example, make a mini climbing wall on the wall, fix rope ladders, a slate board and other devices no less interesting for children. You probably know what your children like, and if you don’t know, you can find out: there are enough fences and walls, place different devices on different areas and watch where your child stays the longest. So find out which games he is more drawn to, you will know in which direction to move on.

Slate board on the fence - children entertainment and development of fine motor skills of hands

Lighting must also be taken into account. The place for children to play should not be constantly in the shade, but the sun is also not needed. Approximately 2/3 of the site should be in the shade (, swing), and 1/3 - in the sun - if any, an active play area. If there is no shade on the site, you will have to come up with a canopy or put up a large umbrella.

At the same time, please note that there is no constant draft in the area of the proposed site. Children, of course, need to be tempered, but not in this way. Even when choosing a place for a children's play area, pay attention to the fact that electrical appliances or any shields, machines and other similar devices are not located nearby. Children are curious and inventive, so it's better not to risk it.

What area is needed

A little about the area that needs to be taken away for a children's playground. Small children don't need much space - a sandbox, a few very simple projectiles, a small pool if you think possible. It's nice to have a lawn or a flat, smooth piece with some kind of suitable surface where you can lie at your pleasure. That's all. For all this, an area of \u200b\u200b4-5 square meters is enough. meters.

For small children, it is desirable to enclose the area. This will give you the opportunity not to be constantly nearby, but to do your own business nearby: children in sight and safe. The fence can be any - it's all about your imagination, desire and possibilities. The main requirement is that it must be safe and durable or completely inaccessible to children. For example, like the chain-link mesh that you see in the photo above. She comes with plastic coated bright colors and does not look as severe as usual.

PVC-coated chain-link mesh is a good option for fencing playgrounds

If for some reason you don’t like this option, you can put a picket fence, which will be about the height of the children somewhere on the shoulders, the distance between adjacent planks should be such that the head does not crawl there. Fences can be painted with different colors.

Picket fence - a familiar fence in an unusual design

Just pay attention that the tops are rounded and do not have sharp corners, they are well processed: splinters are very frustrating for children. The fence must be firmly attached. With the expectation that the children will definitely hang on them and jump.

Rope fencing is rarely used, but it looks good, it performs its functions perfectly: durable, safe, aesthetically attractive.

Rope fence for a playground - durable, inexpensive, reliable and safe

For older children, the fence is a relic. For them, the field of activity is the entire site, and only something really interesting can distract them. More space is also needed here. If possible, give children under 7 years old 8-9 m 2, from 7 to 12 years old - up to 12 m 2. Here the set of shells is already more serious, which is why large areas are required.

Playground cover

This is difficult topic with a very difficult choice. While the children are small, it is perfect for them (there is special compound herbs with high abrasion resistance). He is not so attractive in appearance, but is able to endure little pranksters with almost no damage. Lack of lawns - a necessity regular care: watering, cutting, etc.

For small children perfect coverage on the playground - lawn grass

The lawn can no longer cope with the load from the games of grown children. Especially in the zone of active games: near slides, swings. These are the most problematic areas. If you leave these areas "as is", then during the rain a puddle forms under them, after a couple of "races", turning into a swamp. There is a good solution: make a drainage pad out of crushed stone, and put sand on top of it or lay a rubber coating like that used in stadiums. It is durable and strong.

To remove moisture from the area of the playground, they remove the soil to a depth of 15-20 cm, fall asleep and ram the rubble, pour it on top and also ram the sand. Both layers are about 10-15 cm each. During construction, you can already stop at this: landing on such a site is already not bad. But the sand is gradually pulled apart, and it will have to be periodically updated. You can spread a rubber mat. This is already more serious, only it will be necessary to make a slight slope so that the water rolls off it during the rain. Someone just puts rubber mats which are replaced as they wear out.

Another way out is to fill the entire site with fine, sifted sand. It will periodically need to be leveled and topped up, but this is perhaps the most practical way out.

Sand playground cover - from the category of "quickly and without much hassle"

Another option is to pour crushed bark. Another question is that not everyone has the opportunity to take this bark. But if there is, try it. The covering is soft and not traumatic. Only it is necessary to grind it well and remove the chips that may be there.

Of the more technologically advanced, we can offer the following:

  • Regupol. Factory rubber coating, laid on a flat concrete or asphalt base. The cost is $25-70 per square meter.
  • Coating from crumb rubber with the addition of a binder. It is poured onto a prepared leveled area (it is possible on compacted sand laid on top of crushed stone). The price is $25-80 per square meter.
  • Modular systems PVC high density. Plates that are connected according to the principle of puzzles. The price of a "square" is $50-70.
  • artificial grass. Placed on a prepared base quartz sand and crumb rubber, requires water drainage. Depending on the height of the pile, it costs from $40 to $80.

It's hard to choose. There are too many mutually exclusive requirements and desires, but something will have to be chosen. The most common option is lawn, the second most popular is sand. The remaining coatings are applied only in places - in the most "loaded" parts.

The choice of equipment for the playground

Planning the elements of the playground is best with children. After all, it is for them that you are going to build a playing area, and it is their desires that you need to listen to. Often we try to reproduce what, in our understanding, should be interesting for them, and then we are surprised that the children play anywhere, but not on the site, which they built with such love. All because you embodied your desires and expectations, not children's. Listen to what the child wants, walk around the guests who already have similar facilities, see where the child spends more time. On this basis, it is already possible to build something.

For kids, there must be a sandbox on the playground. This develops their coordination, allows them to develop faster. The usual design - four boards - is not a problem to knock down, but I want it to be also beautiful. For the boys, the sandbox-machine will be interesting. It is made of two-color painted moisture-resistant laminated plywood.

Under the hood is a toy box. Inside in the cockpit, there is also an “entrance” to this box.

In general, wooden cars for boys are great fun. They are passionate about it. another option from an old barrel.

Behind, by the way, you can also arrange a sandbox ...

Another one interesting idea how to make a shadow over play area: fix a rod at a height, throw an awning over it, making a kind of tent. And it's not hot, and there is shade.

Almost a ship...

Children's houses

The most popular part of the play corner with children is your own house, where you can hide from the all-seeing eye of adults, set your own rules. For children, it does not matter what their house is built of. They play well in a fabric tent, a hut made of branches. There are many designs that are quickly and easily "built". Moreover, even the smallest can be involved in this construction: it will be even more interesting to play in a house built with your own hands.

For example, a hut. Watch children play. This is exactly the building that they erect most often. AT different regions they call it differently: someone is their “headquarters”, someone is “home”, a hut, a halabuda. They usually use sticks, bedspreads, other improvised material. Based on this "chalabudostroenie", several of the following designs of houses for children were made.

Most cheap way build a summer children's house: put a few poles in a hut, plant them around the bindweed and wait a couple of weeks until they grow up. The shape of this living hut can be any: in the form of a cone, as in the photo, a traditional hut that looks more like a house, etc. Tie the poles together with twine, plastic clamps or something similar. It is only important to ensure a sufficiently stable frame, otherwise naughty children can overwhelm the structure.

In general, it is not necessary to wait until the plants grow. You can sew a fabric cover, make an entrance, like in a wigwam ... There are a lot of opportunities for using fantasy.

Fast and absolutely safe way building children's hut- fasten fabric panels on the hoop. Hang this design, for example, on a tree. Under it, lay out the mats, attach the panels to the edges. It will turn out great summer house in which children will be cool and comfortable.

A hoop and fabric hut - fast, cheap, safe

Moreover, this design is suitable not only for girls. Hang a camouflage net or camouflage fabric on the hoop. The boys will definitely make their headquarters in it.

If your child dreams of a house like yours, there are even more options. It is usually built frame technology: pillars are buried in the corners, the lower and upper trims are attached to them. The lower trim is the basis for the floor, the upper one is the ceiling. If the house is planned high, a sandbox is often placed below. The house located on top closes it from rain and sun.

If the house is planned at ground level, construction can be started in a different way. Set the blocks on which it will stand level, lay a beam (80 * 80 mm or 100 * 100 mm) on them, connect it into a rectangle, fasten the corners with metal patch plates. After already attach to the bottom frame in the corners of the rack, which will become a support for the walls and roof.

Some children like to have a house, just like adults have: with a porch, a real door and a window, a sofa ... This is also what parents have done more than once. The basis is the same: a beam from which the frame of the building is assembled, and it is sheathed depending on the desire. Faster to work with sheet material, such as waterproof plywood, longer - with boards or clapboard.

House, as from a fairy tale - carved, on a stump

Slides for children

Slides are no less popular with children. The fast descent is a lot of fun. This is where parents get in trouble. What to make a children's slide? Traditional coating - sheet of stainless steel- now it has become very expensive, and it is dangerous to leave it on the street unattended - they will carry it away. Ordinary steel will not work - it rusts very quickly, so you have to look for a replacement. There are several options:

And only a hill in the country or near the house is very rarely done. This is usually only a part game complex, which includes various shells: rope and ordinary ladders with different angles of inclination, hanging paths, nets, swings on chains or ropes, poles with crossbars and, in general, everything you can think of. You will find a few ideas below in the photo gallery.

Wooden slide - only part of the play area for children in the country

Swing

Suspended are popular not only among children, but also among adults. There are quite a few different options- from models for toddlers, to older children. Some of them you saw in the photo above. To create such entertainment, not many materials are needed: chains or ropes on which the seat will be attached.

If you use ropes, you must regularly check their condition: they become less durable from exposure to the sun and can fray. Chains are more reliable in this regard: they can withstand heavy loads, but they pose another danger: moving chain links can pinch the skin. It is very painful, and large hematomas are obtained. But there is a way out. To keep it safe, hoses are put on the chains in those places where they are taken by hand. Their shell protects the hands of children and adults who swing the swing (or ride themselves).

Only bad luck - curious kids love to pick pipes, so check them periodically. Sometimes covers made of very dense fabric such as tarpaulin are used as a protective layer.

Often there are questions about how to attach chains or ropes to the crossbar. The most popular solution is the carbine. But they have two drawbacks: when rocking, they creak quite strongly, and besides, they gradually wear out. The rate of wear depends on the mass of the swinging children (they do not always sit on the swing one at a time) and on the intensity of use. Both problems can be partially solved by periodic lubrication, but only partially. The second option is to use bearings, but welding is indispensable here. See the photo below for a few options on how to attach a swing to the crossbar.

Where to get such devices? In shops selling rigging. You may find other ideas there.

Often the question arises: how and from what to make a seat. Yes, from anything. Even from a tire or from a piece of tarp, an old chair - wooden or plastic, just a piece of board. Craftsmen manage to use the old chair.

A circle tied with ropes is a great option

Old swing chair - why not?

Having slightly modified them and hung them only slightly above the ground, we teach not a swing, but a simulator for developing balance. Of particular interest to the boys will be the option with a board from a skateboard. And on a wide platform you can swing while sitting ...

Stairs and walkways

Ladders are one of the key elements that connects all the disparate parts into a single whole, allowing you to move from one projectile to another. They are made from well-crafted wood. The steps should be round (at least 5 cm in diameter, so that it is convenient to take it with your hands) and straight. You can make rope steps: they are harder to climb, but they develop coordination well.
