Repair or even a small alteration in the children's room is always a list of dilemmas for parents. We all understand perfectly well that a room for a small master is the whole world in which he does not grow easily, but gains new knowledge and skills, learns the world, develops his abilities and opens up new, previously unknown boundaries. The task of parents is not only to create a convenient, safe and comfortable interior children's room, but encourage the child to be creative, support his aspirations and hobbies, create an atmosphere in which he wants to develop comprehensively. But how to create an effective and at the same time attractive design rooms, if psychologists advise one thing, color therapy specialists another, and pediatricians even insist on their own? How to choose from a variety of design ideas suitable option and at the same time not ruin family budget? After all, any parent understands that it is impossible one day to create the interior of a children's room and not change it until your chick flutters out of the family nest. Each parent will have to solve the problem of choice, based on the age, character, hobbies and preferences of their own child. And we, in turn, can provide you with options for decorating a children's room in which ideas were used contemporary designers, pediatric ergonomics specialists, psychologists and pediatricians. The advantage of our large-scale selection of design projects is that you can bring many ideas to life with your own hands.

Bed organization

On the one hand, all experts vying with each other say that in the children's room it is necessary to leave the maximum possible space free so that the child can not play easily, but also jump, run in circles and in other ways be active, dump accumulated energy. On the other hand, in addition to the play area, the room should have a comfortable, full-fledged sleeping place, a segment for study and creative work, as well as storage systems that can accommodate a wardrobe, toys, sports equipment and a child’s books. The issue of saving space is often very acute.

A loft bed will help not only save precious square meters of a small children's room, but will also become interesting way organizing a place to sleep and rest. Most children enjoy sleeping on some elevation from the floor, imagining that they are in a tree, a tower, a spaceship, or any other fantasy place. In the vacated space under the bed, you can organize storage systems of various plans (for clothes, books, toys), install a small sofa that will serve as a seating area in case guests come to the child. You can also leave the area under the bed exclusively for games - by hanging curtains, you can organize something like a hut.

Beds in a room for two children

If two children live in the same room, then the task of parents in distributing areas for sleeping, relaxing, practicing and playing becomes more complicated. The first and often the most important idea, which occurs in most parents - the use of a bunk bed. Obvious savings usable space covers children's disputes (if their age difference is small) about who will sleep on the top tier. But even in such a familiar furniture structure as bunk bed There are options for convenient and original design.

You can use each child's bed to create an area for privacy. To do this, just hang the curtains in lower tier or even build doors, windows, making bed real house, princess castle, rocket or ship.

If there is enough space in the nursery, then you can equip the bunk bed with a slide, along which you can go down from the top bed. Of course, the structure must also be equipped with a ladder for climbing up.

Both bunk beds can be equipped with storage drawers, saving precious square meters of room for two children.

Creating an accent wall in the children's room

Experts recommend not to decorate all the walls of the children's room in bright colors, choosing a light, neutral tone, but to accentuate one of the vertical surfaces (bright, colorful, with drawings or paintings). There are many options when it comes to creating an accent wall. In addition to standard approaches in wallpapering, using wall tiles, laminate, decorative plaster or liquid wallpaper, there are many ways that are used mainly for children's rooms. Art painting, usage stencil drawing, stickers - all these design examples will help to create a thematic picture for the accent surface - based on your favorite cartoon, fairy tale, comics or a certain type of activity, creativity, sports.

If the child is very active, it is not easy for him to calm down before going to bed and tune in to rest, accent wall It is best to arrange behind the head of the bed. Thus, the room will also have a variety of decorations and the child will not see the colorful or bright pattern of photo wallpapers, paintings or acrylic stickers before going to bed.

A black (or steel) magnetic board is not only a contrasting accent surface (or part of it) in the interior of a children's room, but also a field for creativity. On the surface, you can draw with crayons, use magnets to hang drawings, photos and crafts. You no longer need to worry about what the child will draw on the walls - he has a whole safe area for this.

Tepee, tent or retreat

Even if only one child is the owner in the room, he may still need a place for privacy - a small corner, closed from everyone, inside which the most cherished toys lie and the most interesting games take place. On the modern market children's goods appeared for a reason various options wigwams, tents of small tents - psychologists have long proved that such places for solitude are needed to one degree or another by every child. Here you can calm down, isolate yourself from the outside world for a while, even hide or just play.

One of the options for creating places for solitude, popular among Russian parents, is a wigwam. This is a simple structure in execution and subsequent installation, consisting of wooden racks, with cloths stretched over them. The structure is safe from the point of view of human impact and environment- wood and natural fabric are used. Even if the wigwam falls on a child, it will not cause any serious damage - light wood is used for the racks, the racks themselves weigh a little. You can make a wigwam in any color variant, use partially or completely the fabric that was used to drape windows or decorate a bed (to create a harmonious environment), textiles with a thematic pattern - favorite characters of fairy tales, cartoons, comics.

Another option for creating partial privacy is a small tent that is suspended from the ceiling. Of course, this design option is not available in rooms with stretch ceilings. Products are almost entirely made of fabric (only the vault itself has a tubular or wire frame), it is easy to remove it if necessary (if you need more space for several children to play, for example). Most often, mini-tents are used in the interiors of girls' rooms; they organically fit into the stories of oriental princesses. Ready solutions most often made in pastel colors and are able to fit into any style of design and color scheme of the interior.

Often, these fabric mini-tents are hung over the head of the bed, creating a kind of canopy. At the base of the tent, you can hang a mobile made by yourself and even together with a child. Retiring in the folds of such a canopy and falling asleep is not scary.

Textile design for a nursery

Imagine a cozy children's room without drapery on the windows, bright design of a bed, colorful or fluffy rug on the floor, hard. It is these details that bear the brunt of decorating and creating a special atmosphere in the baby's room. Textile very often acts as an accent when creating universal interior. Designers recommend using light, neutral tones for decorating the room, so that you can simulate the situation with the help of bright details, adjusting to the changing age of the child, the change of his passions and hobbies. After all, replacing curtains or a bedspread is much easier than re-gluing wallpaper or constructing panoramas under the ceiling.

When decorating a room for a newborn, it is not without reason that they are used pastel shades. At first, the child will not be so important overall design rooms, how many details are in close proximity to it. From the atmosphere of the nursery, only a relaxing, calm mood is required. But accent elements are also necessary - to focus vision, look at a picture, pattern, small parts. It is with this task that textiles most easily cope - as a design for a bed, curtains on the windows, small bedside rugs, canopies, tents.

Storage systems - a variety of forms

Things are not easy with the organization of effective storage in children's rooms. At first, there are few toys and books, a small rack or even a container can fit them, but over time, the number of items necessary for the development of the baby grows exponentially. It is not always possible to adapt to this irrepressible growth - there simply may not be enough for new storage systems. free space. Therefore, a clear control of the growth of new toys and the choice of universal systems storage. Experts recommend using open shelving, which can accommodate both large items and containers with small items, put books or install sports equipment. Over time, when changing interests and hobbies of the child, you can simply change the contents of the containers.

If speak about hinged systems storage, the most common are open shelves. How fewer facades will be in the nursery, the less chance of injury. The contents are clearly visible on the open shelves, the desired item can be found quickly. It is desirable that they have fun at a level accessible to the child.

Advantage open shelves that they are easy to make by hand. From old pallets or just boards, you can create exclusive storage systems for books, stationery and toys. Bright paint, colored wallpaper or fabric for pasting rear wall, themed stickers - all means are good for getting not only a spacious storage system, but also an original decorative element of the interior.

Lighting system – versatility and aesthetics

One is not enough in the children's room central chandelier under the ceiling. It is necessary to create a backlight for the workplace (or area for creativity). But for many children, not only the functionality of the lighting system is important - a garland with dim lights will help create a holiday mood in the room, and before going to bed it will illuminate the room with a weak light so that the baby does not have to fall asleep in the dark.

Decorative elements in the children's room

Only at first glance can one decide that decorative elements in the children's room do not carry any semantic load, except for decorating the interior. Toys suspended from the ceiling can be examined before going to bed, and those located near the bed can be touched with hands, develop motor skills, and expand the horizons of tactile sensations. Drawings, embroidery, paper and wooden models not only decorate the room, but also develop spatial thinking, attention to detail, contribute to the training of vision, not to mention the development of a craving for beauty, the expansion of aesthetic knowledge.

But we are interested in how to decorate a children's room with our own hands, without spending too much money and time on it.

Personal space is very important for a child. Therefore, the arrangement of the room requires special attention, and every action must be thought out, from the choice of materials for repairs to the arrangement of furniture.

The main aspects of arranging a room for children

If you have only one room for a nursery, and there are several children, try to visually divide the room into several parts, and arrange each part in different styles. Thus, each child will have their own corner, but all children will be provided with communication with each other. This will help them learn to perceive the interests of other people.

Color scheme for the children's room

When choosing the color of furniture for your child's room, give preference to calm, neutral tones. Objects of too bright colors are distracting, and the child will be distracted from the learning process. Child psychologists and designers recommend pastel colors, in particular light green, which is known for its calming properties.

Of course, a children's room cannot be imagined without bright toys. So that they do not interfere with the study, they need to be removed somewhere for a while. Therefore it will great solution many shelves and drawers in, bedside tables, under the bed.

A children's room for two children should be equipped with such boxes as much as possible: this will provide each child with personal space and teach them to clean up after themselves.

Children's room for two children: what you need to consider so that no one is offended

When you decide to equip a room for two children, be prepared for the fact that you will have to consult with each child and take into account all wishes. It must be remembered that children have different habits, interests and hobbies.

  1. If the children are restless and prefer active games to a quiet pastime, then the room should have a lot of free space. In this case, they will have to stand close to the walls along the entire length. Retractable or folding beds will be the best solution.
  2. For lovers of calm board games need separate tables. So children can arrange competitions with each other and their guests.

Two children, especially if it is a boy and a girl, will certainly conflict with each other about the design of the room. Girls mature faster physiologically, and interests can be completely opposite, especially with regard to color schemes and decorating interior elements. In this case the best option there will be a zoning of the room into two parts. It can be provided with the help of cabinet furniture, through bookcases or even flower stands.

When designing a children's room, consider the personal space of each child. Both the daughter and the son should have a secluded corner, not visible from the outside, where you can hide from prying eyes, read, listen to music, retire.

In order to determine such a place, you need to zone the space according to functional features:

  • play area;
  • work area;
  • recreation area.

A play area for a child younger age, and to the senior - a working zone. If your children are the same age or the same age, then you need to equip the work area with two separate places.

Do-it-yourself children's room repair: what to pay special attention to

Planning the room in which the children will live, you need to start with choosing a room. First of all, you should consider the size and illumination. Experts advise giving preference to the southern and western sides.

If possible, allocate a larger room for the child, and at a sufficient distance from the living room and kitchen, especially if the child is still small.

  1. When repairing, pay special attention to lighting. It is preferable to choose the top spot light and provide for night lighting, as well as plan the lighting of the desktop and areas that are especially important for your child. It could be game Zone, a wall with drawings or completed puzzles, a shelf with a collection of favorite toys. Do not forget to take into account the load on vision: the lighting should be soft and uniform.
  2. When choosing materials for the repair of a children's room, give preference to non-combustible and environmentally friendly. As floor covering great, they are easy to clean. Carpet or other fabric coverings are best placed in an area, such as a play area, rather than spread across the entire width of the room.
  3. If the children are small, then take care of the insulated version of the flooring - or laminate. For an older age, choose a short or medium pile carpet to avoid dustiness.
  4. For walls, purchase special children's wallpapers on the construction market. They have a wide range of colors and a wide variety of patterns, up to educational ones. The child will be happy with his favorite cartoon or movie characters. It is better to glue the wallpaper in two tiers: one pattern from the bottom to a third of the height of the wall, the other pattern - the rest. For the transition, stick a border of a suitable color.
  5. A good option would be painted. Such a surface gives the child many opportunities for development. The painted wall can be painted independently at the request of the child. Use an alkyd or acrylate compound, it quickly loses odor and is easy to clean.
  6. Make the ceiling as a child in the form of a starry sky. You can purchase wallpaper with a special pattern or paint and paint the surface yourself.

  • 1 year-6 years;

It is not necessary to keep it in pink color. Use your imagination and you won't need to spend a lot of money to renovate a room. Most importantly, quality environmental materials, easy care.

However, there are a few basic rules that apply to a child's room of any age:

Video about the repair and arrangement of the children's room

As you can see, it's easy enough to provide your children with their own cozy space. Repairing a children's room with your own hands is an interesting, exciting activity, and by attracting a child to it, you will instill in him the skills of taste, style, accuracy and work from childhood.

Together you will figure out how to decorate the children's room with your own hands so that it brings joy to a girl or a boy, and at the same time does not distract when studying and relaxing. It is very important for a child to have his own space, filled with what he is interested in, and teamwork on repair and decoration will show the child that his opinion is important to you. We invite you to discuss this topic in the comments: ask questions, formulate ideas, and we will be happy to help you choose the best option!

If your child has their own space in the house - that's just fine. Your job is to help the child settle in this space so that he always wants to return there and maintain order there.

A good children's room is a place where the child is warm, comfortable, safe and interesting to live - and where all the opportunities for harmonious development are provided.

And good children grow up only in nurseries, in the design of which parents have invested a little more than money. Not enough to buy everything necessary materials and make a beautiful renovation to your liking - have you forgotten that this is not your room?

The design of the room, which pleases only your eye, is necessary only while the child is so small that he generally does not care what surrounds him - as long as you are near and in good mood. And even then - it is known that even babies are influenced, for example, by the color schemes of the premises.

If your baby is worried and does not sleep well in this "nursery" - maybe you should remove too "aggressive" wallpaper with a sharp pattern? Yes, and that picture with a grinning tiger, too?

Is the child already at the age when he can quite clearly operate with the concepts of "like - dislike"?

He already has hobbies, albeit very toddlers, but favorite characters of cartoons and fairy tales, and do you know that he likes to play Lego and draw, but does not like to sculpt and play with a ball?

From now on, all ideas for a children's room can and should be discussed with its owner!

This is a good practice also because communication with the child takes place in the format that you small man he will certainly appreciate: they don’t give him ready-made and don’t impose his own, they consult with him, he can decide something!

It means that he is big, his opinion is valued, he is respected! Any most stupid and frivolous jumper from such an attitude immediately seems to grow on his head!

Let's talk about how to decorate a nursery with your own hands - after all, no one knows your child better than you. And let him certainly help you to the best of his ability - even if all the help looks like “one flower out of twenty stuck crookedly”.

Children's room zones and their combination

To make it easier for you and the growing person to keep order in the nursery, it is easiest to immediately delimit it into zones for each type of life activity.

The room should be visibly divided into sections for:

  • study,
  • clothing storage.

Why is it necessary?

An adult person is a fairly organized being, he himself even involuntarily divides the space around him into zones convenient for him and does not violate their boundaries.

You can, of course, eat at the computer and read in the toilet, but every adult knows that the plate from the computer must be removed later, and it’s better not to tell malicious friends about meetings with a book on a white throne. Of course, if he has order in his head and he is not the mythically chaotic Isadora Duncan from Heart of a Dog, who, according to the protagonist's assumption, "dines in the office and slaughters rabbits in the bathroom."

The real Isadora, of course, bathed in the bathroom, slept in the bedroom, and in the study, if she had one, she read, wrote letters and checked accounts.

Note!

The child is still too "spontaneous", he is in such a hurry to live, play, learn about the world that disorder is formed around him in a natural way. And this is perfectly normal - but for the time being.

That’s what growing up is all about, to become more and more rationally organized person (for everyone, this process occurs in its own way, but it is inevitable).

Now we are touched by a carpet stained with paint - the child draws with paints for the first time! He has learned! Is some unfortunate rug worth a creative impulse!

But it’s unlikely that a 15-year-old forehead that eats chips and at the same time repairs a skateboard on a bed with a clean bedspread and freshly made linen will cause the same tenderness, right?

And the child himself is much easier to navigate in the living space if he clearly sees and knows: his toys are in this box, and books are on that shelf over there.

Note!

And you will not hear the constant and more demanding cries of your child with age: “Ma-am, where is the plasticine, panties, pink elephant, my iPhone, that blue miniskirt ...”

As the child grows up, the zones will change their meaning and functions - if for an infant almost the whole world fits into the sleeping area, then the teenager’s play area will be replaced by a work area (where he will do his hobbies), and the study area may well spread to the sleeping area ...

The colors of his life

The color design of the children's room is an important and subtle moment. When choosing wallpaper, you need not only to look, but also to feel what exactly you are buying. And, of course, if the child is already involved in creating the interior of the room with you, it is worth making a purchase with him.

Probably, it is not worth dwelling on the fact that some colors will not only drive a child - an adult into melancholy, if not into depression. It is not necessary to decorate the walls in such a way that the nursery resembles the scenery for the play "Children of the Underground".

But also go to the other extreme - as bright and colorful as possible! - do not do it. It is interesting to look at Kandinsky's paintings - but to live in this riot of colors and geometric shapes ...

You simply will not understand why your child can never go to bed peacefully, why he is agitated when it is absolutely unnecessary. Yes, and the child's eyes will get tired of the bright color combinations and this contributes to general fatigue.

Note!

View selections of photos of the children's room in different options color design. Note what you liked right away, and what causes irritation, if not intelligible. And don't reproduce it on your walls.

And do not forget to ask the child - maybe he already has a favorite color associated with something pleasant. Even if this color gives you a slight shock - for example, orange - you can still find a compromise.

After all, there are more than just walls in a child's room, right? Even a very bright and wild color can be “calmed down” with the help of well-chosen interior items and decor in other colors.

And do not forget that the impact of each color on each person is individual. Someone will feel cheerful and collected in a room, say, with a light blue color of the wallpaper - and for someone this color causes fits of despondency or aggression.

Children's room decor

How to decorate a children's room - let the child tell you again. Create for him that fairy-tale world in which he would like to live! The walls of the children's room look dull even with the most beautiful wallpaper if there is nothing else on them.

Vinyl stickers? Glowing in the dark? In the form of stars, letters or your child's favorite little animals? His own drawings? Posters of his favorite cartoon characters? Collages that you will create with him together? Unusual hours?

Do not forget about the design of the window: curtains or blinds? What colour? Maybe with a picture?

Boy's room: warrior or explorer?

minimum limit functional furniture- Boys are often very active, and for any activity they need space, "where to turn around."

And decide who is growing with you? If a guy is fond of sports, active games, he cannot sit still for a minute - make him a sports corner so that there is something to put irrepressible energy.

But there are also calmer boys - always studying something of their own, making something out of something, inventing some kind of another nuclear reactor. Collectors, lovers of placing physical and chemical experiments- not warriors, but explorers.

Such people need not a mini-sports ground, but something like working area where they can safely disassemble, assemble, repair, study something.

The former, most likely, will need some kind of place or device for storing sports equipment, the latter - space for storing tools, collections, incomplete models ...

Both of them may not hide from the eyes at all, but organically fit in and become part of the interior of a boy's room.

Girl's room: princess or Amazon?

Girls are different too. Conditional "princesses" who are passionate about dolls, their outfits, quiet games and needlework - and "Amazons" who prefer much more active entertainment.

These girls love different things - and it's stupid for the "Amazon" to equip a kind of lace mini-boudoir in delicate tones. Similarly, the gentle "princess" has nothing to do among the "Amazonian" tennis rackets, soccer balls and dog training devices.

Do not try to insist on your own and subordinate the interior of the room not to the interests of the child, but to your ideas about what these interests should be.

Let the first girl at least cover the whole room with stickers with her favorite beautiful fairies and little ponies, and the second one demands to buy her a plastic sword and a steering wheel from a pirate ship. In both cases, the room can be decorated in a very original way and to the liking of the child!

The same rule applies to both boys and girls: only the child who can choose is happy. Friends, hobbies, a picture on a T-shirt or wallpaper ... “But we didn’t choose!” “You weren't allowed to. “Nothing, let him rejoice at what they give!” “Listen, are you sure you mean your favorite child and not your personal slave?”

Decorating a small children's room

Unfortunately, it is not always possible to provide a child with a room of a sufficiently large size.

Depressingly little space - this is not a reason for frustration, especially since the child is happy with absolutely any personal space, but that it belongs to him.

Remember the favorite games of very young children in the device of "houses" - under the table, in the corner, from sofa cushions. The child needs personal space - this is a sign of his normal development. And if it seems too small for you...

You look with adult eyes. The child can find the limited space of the room quite natural ("I'm small - and my room too"), and besides, imagine anything.

One talented child, whose room was little more than a pantry, played with inspiration the most different games with the participation of this little room: it became a fox's hole (the child himself was a fox, of course), then a hobbit's house ...

Light and cold colors help to visually enlarge the space, but again you need to focus on the feelings of the child: does he find such a room uncomfortable?

Think about which areas of the room can be functionally combined with each other. modern furniture with its capabilities allows you to combine, for example, a bed and a play, play and study area.

Wait a minute to be indignant on the topic: “Here he will play instead of lessons!”. It will not happen if it is right to agree: the game box is pulled out of the table only when all the tasks are done. And not before. Otherwise, the game box ... generally disappears from the table! Until someone learns to do business first, and then have fun.

Don't clutter up already small space floors that can be safely and even tastefully placed on the walls. Several very well nailed capacious shelves at such a height that the child can safely use them will greatly “unload” the floor.

Photo of the design of the children's room with their own hands

In the process of implementation, I got so carried away that I took a lot of photos, chose the best of them and decided to show you, commenting on them in the first person!

Do not judge strictly, because This is my first creative impulse in the writing field))

A little background

So, our family consists of 4 people: me, my husband and our two beloved children - the son of Kirill and the daughter of Margarita. We live in the city of Gomel (Belarus) in a cottage village.

In order to move quickly, we decided to first make two rooms: a bedroom and a kitchen, and finish the rest, as they say, in the process.

When the daughter was still in plans, and the son was very small, the crib was in our room. There was no urgent need for a separate children's room at that time.

But time passed... It was time to give birth to a daughter and we decided to move Cyril to his room, which at that time was without repair and furniture.

Children's room design

We started from the floor. We decided to lay floorboard from natural wood.

We then proceeded to select colors walls and ceiling. If everything was simple and clear with the ceiling - classic white, then the walls are not so simple.

What color to choose? What shades to dilute it? Blue, yellow, green - what?

The Internet has come to our rescue. We reviewed a lot of photos with the design of children's bedrooms for boys, read the recommendations of experts and even looked into the "psychology of color and its effect on a person", just in case))

We settled on two colors: light green and orange- association with summer, warmth, comfort.

They finally made a decision when they saw in one of the stores children's wallpaper, which ideally combined, in our view, with the overall interior of the future children's room.

The total area of the room is about 12 sq.m.

Three sides of the room were painted light green, and the shade was chosen in such a way that the light green on the wallpaper matched the color of the walls.

On the wall along which the children's bed was supposed to be placed, the same wallpaper was pasted.

To the ceiling hung a chandelier.

From leftovers ceiling plinth, a piece of wallpaper and cardboard i decided to make a picture.

My husband cut the corners of the ceiling plinth at 45 degrees, and I glued everything into a frame.

Then I took a piece of cardboard of the right size.

I cut the wallpaper to size and pasted it on a cardboard base.

Putting all the components together, we got this picture.

Place for a painting was picked up on the adjacent wall.

Selected for windows horizontal blinds orange color.

During the day, when you close them at a quiet hour, the light in the room becomes soft and warm, and the child falls asleep quickly and sleeps well.

Furniture for the children's room

Children's furniture decided make to order. We began to study the proposals of furniture companies in our city: prices, terms, quality of material and accessories.

After several days of searching, a friend of my husband came to visit us, who works in furniture company in Moscow. After a short dialogue for family table, a friend volunteered to help us with furniture for the children's room. The issue with the search for the artist was resolved by itself))

We started with measurements and discussion of future furniture. In general, with my direct participation, the “furniture master” drew bed sketch, bookshelves and built-in wardrobe, then marked in the sketch all required dimensions and advised which materials are best.

Chipboard chose Austrian Egger. I didn’t remember the rest, because. I don't understand furniture terminology. But my husband said that all the material is of high quality, and I believe him!

Half an hour later, we already knew the cost of all turnkey furniture.

My first thought at that moment: “This is some kind of joke...” The price was very attractive, even taking into account the delivery from Moscow.

True, with delivery, as it turned out later, we were very lucky, because. a family friend was fulfilling some large order in our city and our furniture was supposed to arrive from Moscow with a car.

Two weeks later, my joy knew no bounds. A car drove up, the guys unloaded everything and brought it into the house.

The next day around 9 am my husband with a friend started assembling baby bed.

I wanted a “one and a half” bed with drawers below and high walls on three sides. Here's how it turned out to put it into practice.

After a couple of hours the bed was ready, after which started on the shelves.

With the shelves, I decided to experiment a little, so they were made straight on one wall and herringbone on the other.

After lunch installation of built-in wardrobe elements has begun.

There was already a niche in the children's room - such a small room measuring 2m x 1.2m, it was decided to equip a dressing room there.

At the planning stage, I again faced a difficult choice - from which side to make shelves, and from which to attach pipes for hangers?

After consulting with my husband, we decided to place shelves and drawers on the left, and a place for hangers on the right.

On the right along the wall there is a heating pipe, we decided not to hide it, but, on the contrary, leave it open and use it for additional drying of things in winter period. In my opinion, it turned out very convenient and practical!

By the evening of the same day, everything was ready!

No matter how trite it may sound, I’ll still say that it’s good to have friends who are ready to help “in difficult” times, for which special thanks to our Moscow friend!

As for other furniture, for example, computer desk , inherited from dad, we plan to replace it with orange-white and add more dresser when my son is a little older.

In the meantime, Kirill is engaged in creativity at the children's table- draws, cuts, glues. By the way, a very convenient and useful "thing" for a 3-year-old child.

Already a month later, as the son “moved to separate apartments” ... Children's toys and books appeared on the shelves, drawers beds contained pillows, blankets, daughter's diapers, napkins, etc., and Walk-in closet transformed into children's clothing.

From the remnants of fiberboard, I decided to make toy boxes. I bought a rope at a hardware store and asked my husband to cut the fiberboard into even pieces of a certain size, while drilling holes along the edges. When my husband gave me the “order”, I tied everything with a rope in original boxes that harmoniously fit into the interior of the nursery.

I hope that you liked my story and inspired me just like me ... After all, it is very important when you share positive emotions, experience, creative idea with people who need it!

I wish you creative success!
